Hey clammers! Matt from TinyCo here. We asked Bunny and Alissa if we can give y’all a peek behind the curtain at what’s coming up in January and February, and we’re stoked they said yes.
We often say that we expect Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff to be around for a very long time. To make sure that it lives long and prospers, we plan content well in advance. We’re working on February as we speak, and we’re about to get started on March.
Here’s a look at what we have so far.
January: District 10 and Pawtucket Brewery
District 10 brings a new way of progressing in the game: the Pawtucket Brewery. This building will have unique decorations for you to craft, including Beer Packs, a Pyramid of Beer, a Potted Beer Bush, and… lots of beer. It’s like a beer factory, only with more beer.
Also, this happens:
Expect District 10 to launch next week in the south corner of your Quahog.
February: Valentine’s Day
The best part about making games is that we get to explore strange new worlds. Family Guy is no exception, thanks to the Multiverse, Stewie’s time travel (don’t worry, we’ll learn what happened to that plutonium soon), and Quahog itself. For Valentine’s Day, we’re wondering:what would happen if a bunch of these characters went on dates?
We’re getting a visit from Multiverse Meg (SFW – kind of):
And Handsome Peter, straight from the Beautiful People’s Club:
Fun fact – one of our animators is spending hours animating Handsome Peter’s butt.
Valentine’s Day hits Quahog in early February.
March and Beyond
We’ve set our sights on March as the next big Quahog-defining event, with a full crew of guest stars that would fit right in at Comic Con. That’s all we can share for now – but let’s just say they won’t be intimidated by Alien and Predator.

Family Guy Addicts 
Please don’t do the Star Wars characters. I really hate Star Wars even when family guy are doing them. They will be the only characters that I won’t buy if they are premium. I’ll try and unlock the skins as long as I don’t need clams to do it. I can 100% live without STAR WARS

ey Matt from TinyCo, I was just curious if TinyCo has stopped updating and supporting Tiny Zoo Friends. The wife and I were thinking about checking it out, but if it has run it’s course and all your concentration is now on our beloved Family Guy, maybe it’s not worth it.
Is any one else still currently playing Tiny Zoo Friends? If so, what is your experience with it as of today? Is/was it fun? Would you like to see an update or sequel?

I get that no one needs to have every item out in their town, but I’d say about 40-50% of all the items and buildings ever offered are in my inventory…
Paying money for premium stuff and then having no room to display it…well, I want my friggin money back.
I get that most players dont buy every premium or LE stuff, so I understand that offering limited land will help prevent crashes and memory problems…
but really, if you’re not gonna offer more land, why release huge buildings?
The rehab center offered in the current event alone is what, 12×8? -.-
and still every time new content is released, it’s still full of glitches and crashes….might be time to update that tech team, TinyCo

I’m still getting an assert error when I try to log into the game on my phone so I didn’t even get to play the Christmas edition, is there anything I can do other than uninstall and reinstall the game??

This is by far my favorite game for so many reasons! Thanks for making it free and not having to harass neighbors or spend money in order to advance lol I don’t mind spending money to get extra characters or buildings either, but you guys are great about making clams pretty easy to accumulate. My only wish right now is that the characters that are bought (like Cleveland, Bruce or Consuela) or unlocked (like Santa, Jesus, etc) would be more relevant to quests and events. Awesome freaking game tho!! And I’m glad I’m not the only addict that sets their alarm to play!!! 😉

Since they did a American Dad event I think it would be awsome if they did a Cleavland Show event. Cleavland should have Donna and the rest of his family!

After careful consideration, I have thought about the characters I would like to see make an appearance in my Quahog. One of them being Stewie’s ‘twinkle brother,’ Bertram! His character and Stewie’s interacting to plot Lois’ demise might make a good questline. Just a thought 😉 Stewie doesn’t seem to do all that much in Quahog.
The other difference I wouldn’t mind seeing is having the actual character working toward completion of skins and quests involving them.
For example; why don’t Jillian’s actions help her to obtain materials to build her skin?

I’d like the option to get Nathan Fillion again since, even though I tried to pay for him, the game did not let me. He can have coffe with whomever he wants (or whomever you want). I’m not picky, just annoyed at the games tech limitations.

If Babs was in Christmas Event And Jillian Was In New Years Event, I think that Neil will be in Valentines Day Event, Death Will Be With Peter in St. Patrick’s Day Event and Evil Monkey To Help Chris Find Easter Eggs In Easter Event. Do You think so?

Need more land definitely. Also I would ask that items needed for unlocking new characters are more freely available instead of ultra rare (aka never drops!) and maybe have more new items available to buy with coins rather than clams.

Thanks TinyCo, Alissa and Bunny for all your hard work, and thanks for the sneak peek. I think the hint for the next big event sounds a lot like Star Wars, which would make a lot of people happy! And I think some funny character date pairs would be like Jasper and an unsuspecting Steve, Herbert and Chris of course, prison Meg could force Connie out, and I’d love to see Lois with John McClane, or Jerome for the non premium players.
Also, I see too many people complaining about the number of characters used to drop items, but I think if everyone dropped stuff, too many people would be done collecting within a day. I don’t mind collecting over the period of a few days for most events, as it gives me something to do. I don’t want to be finished as soon as I start! I have over 40 characters so if most of them were active for a drop event then there would be no challenge, not even a pretense of one.

I actually love both this and TSTO and when both have events I’m like looney tunes but I also think they are just different enuf in their strategies to make both endlessly fun to play. Often one game will get me thru slow times in the other.
Tiny co aside from bravo just one word LAND!!!!

My only issue is the one that many people have. We have so many new and amazing buildings, but no place to put them! Like many people, I like to make the most of what I have, but I hate to put buildings in storage when they could be earning me money. So I end up with a section of tight buildings that look very out of place instead of spacing them out appropriately. I want my Quahog to look appropriate, but I don’t want to miss out on the money coming in either! Land shouldn’t be that tough to come by when we have so many things to put on them! Making a fun town is even harder when we have to squeeze things to make room.
But as I said, it’s a common problem. Otherwise, I’m having a great time playing this game!

Like all FG players I love it when we get new land but I seem to be I the minority when it comes to how much land we should have, you see I don’t mind having buildings in my inventory because this means I can swap them to freshen up the area they sit or do a complete redesign with new ones. I play tsto and to have all my buildings out means that I have never felt the need to do a redesign,I like getting the land strip by strip as it adds to my quahog

I’d love to see Freddy Krueger and Jason go on a date. Maybe also Francine and Bonnie. Or Jillian and Jerome. Oh Mr. Weed and Diane. Nathan Fillion and Consuela. Roger and Brian. I could probably go on all day. So I’ll stop.

Unrelated to the new content… I cannot get Jillian’s gold braclets to drop! I have everything else and got the necklaces in like 2 days! Anyone else have this problem?

Hey guys, love the game to start but there are a few issues/concerns. One would be the lack of character usuage. So many characters that are purchased or won i.e. everyone from comic con last year do absolutely nothing. You set them on 24 hour quests and forget about them cauae they are useless.
Next on the list would be the amount of times this game crashes. Unfortunately it was crashing so much during the halloween event all but two of my friends quit. The game still crashes on me especially when visiting friends Quahogs which is pretty much a 99% guarantee when I visit friends.
Land. There is just not enough of it to set up your town to give it a look you want because you have to have so much in your inventory and or just bury everything behind other objects. Lots of cool things have come out and they cant be displayed properly.
Clams. Have to mention clams just for the simple reason of aquiring characters are a bit expensive. On the flip side the money generated by those who purchase clams help you to continue adding to the game because we all know it takes time and money. Perhaps a lower cost to these special characters and such will get more people to actually spend money and offset what is made from the people that buy it at the current 200 clams a character.
That covers the big issues i see with the game. Whether these comments are actually read by anyone that can actually change things, who knows. Figured I would put it out there and comment along with all the other clammers. Keep up the good work and maybe we will see some of these changes that are suggested happen. Take care everyone.

Land as well as open up the water. I have gold digger island sitting on the shore it’s more like gold digger peninsula. I filled all my land up they gave us right after the American dad event. And please give us a back to the future event of something. And I’m not sure who would agree but a Mardi Gras event would be awesome even a mini event, and could you PLEASE give us another chance to win Jesus somehow possibly at Easter? Perfect time to resurrect him!!!

All I have to ask is why is Tux Brian 150 clams and why if he needed for a quest line. As someone who can’t afford to buy clams, and whose Jesus never drops clams… I find this insulting.
I only have 117 clams and I doubt I will get enough clams to get Brian by Jan 15th.

I don’t. They seem to keep the majority of events set to anyone at District 3 and Level 10 Game Play. No one will know until it hits. I for one am excited. 😉

Dear Matt….this game is ok….far from great….for One….it has sooooooooooo much adault content in it without it having an age appropriate age…if I had younger children I’d be all over your app…I’m very suprised someone hasn’t come after you…the prizes are sooooooooooooo childish….make it either a adault game or a child’s…please….
if ya think people enjoy putting only a few who can do tasks on tasks that you never get the stuff for your wrong….you cannot set the town up properly as there is not enough land for what we already have….my storage bin is full of the crap….have a look at the Simpsons game and you’ll be very surprised to see how ppl have set up really cool towns…..ratings say it all Simpson number 15 after 3 years still…family guy was 77 yesterday 99 today…that says it all..!!!!!!!! All my friends have stopped playing already….have you tried this game yourself..if ya do you know there is no room for nothing…….doh doh doh…..

Lol. I actually am shocked the adult content in the game. It is why we here at the Addicts are unable to post dialog like we normally would. The things the Characters say are VERY mature and VERY naughty in the dialog that our site would get slapped with an MA rating. Lol. So we have to find other ways.
I think they may be on same level, they can only show things to a point without turning there game into MA and killing a lot of the player base. My thoughts anyway. 🙂

if the game is filled with adult content when maybe a site promoting the game should be MA. wouldn’t want kids thinking that since the website is G rated the game is as well. not bashing you. i never thought about it before i read your comment

We actually do have info on our site about the content of this game. It is why we moderate and limit what we do post. We specifically have it noted we try to follow a PG to PG 13 standard (DEFINATELY not G. Lol). Outside that, it is not our place to police other people’s children. Lol. That is the parents responsibility. Parents should know what their kids watch and participate in. If ANYONE has watched the TV series on FOX, they know what the content is they are getting into.
I also believe this app game follows the standards and suggests 13 yrs and older for content.
You can promote a game just fine without showing all content and details. We do it very well here. Main reason the dialog is just not posted.

Excessive adult content? Tell me, have you watched the show? Right at the beginning, before the intro it clearly states viewer discretion is advised and is not suitable for an audience under 14 years of age. The jokes are unveiled, outright most of the time with some clever double-entendres mixed in for the more ‘cerebral’ audience. They’ve never tried to be anything other than adult entertainment.
Their prizes are just fine (but this is an opinion). And certainly no one needs to place each and every item they own on their land space.
Another game site I belonged to had a 80 item per room limit before it would freeze you out. Even then they were kind enough to bail you out if you over-extended.
Bottom line, the more graphics and animation; the higher the incidence of crashes and improper loading. Don’t make it difficult to load the game and it honestly won’t crash near as often.
Also, from this outside viewpoint, whenever new items are introduced, new skins, new characters; especially in multiples there is bound to be some conflict. Patience is required as they do work quickly to resolve these issues.
Don’t know what else to say.

In family guy the series the writers know 14 year olds watch because in an episode I think it was called Brian’s a bad father, Peter mentions someone, not sure who, and says “remember this guy, oh wait you won’t your only 14” or he says something along them lines.

Great game guys, I’m totally addicted.
Please could you give all characters a chance to collect the items needed for quests though?
I’ve already spent plenty on buying clams (way more than I would have spent if this were being retailed as a pc or other platform game) to make sure I can get the characters but I’m a 40 year old, full time working mum and it is really tough sometimes when only a small number of characters are able to collect, particularly when it takes more than 4 hours per task.
Other than that this is a brilliant way to wast a bit of time on something unproductive 🙂

This app is absolutely Awesome! Sometimes my husband and I are so crazy that we set our timers when we sleep to wake us up, check character actions, see if they dropped anything, and set new actions. Yes, addixted, we know.
For Valentine’s day, what about blonde Meg?

Would it be possible to get a clam for each character we max out and maybe our player xp maxing out? *Shrug* thought I’d ask 🙂
Keep up the awesome work and don’t let the nay-Sayers get u down. They’re just impatient and don’t understand that there will always be mistakes in making something great. Those people make me angry because they sure as hell aren’t perfect. There’s not a problem you guys had that you ignored and most importantly, you understand the importance of listening to the public. It’s the best way to know your consumers.
Ps, I’ve tried the Simpson’s app. I imagine that the people that prefer that app are dull and uneventful.

It is fine if you do not like the other game, not all games suit everyone… this included… but please refrain from knocking or putting down other players that do. Especially on our site. Just as you said, not all is perfect or understood. So keep an open mind. 🙂
Outside that, some cool suggestions. We agree that they are making some amazing progress with the game.

Yeah, as Bunny said, no need to hate. I like that app, and I don’t believe the ppl who like it are dull and uneventful. That app has been around a long time, and a lot of ppl who play this game play that as well. Let’s all be friendly and be nice to all app players.

Everyone is always entitled to their opinions here, that much is true. We just ask to not outright bash or put down others. More a sense of community and each other working as a whole whenever possible. There will always be differences, but that is what is amazing and makes us unique. Many great ideas come from different minds and opinions. 😉

Regardless on how you perceive it… others may not feel same. Regardless, we try to keep negativity out when referring to ANY player of ANY game. To just others in general. (see the link to our guidelines) Reactions like other players that did see it and respond and yours now is what we DON’T want. So I appreciate your opinion, but regardless… the statement was not a necessary additive to the comment. The comment was amazing then got ruined by that last bit is what I was getting at. There is no reason to put others down, regardless how. And please don’t misquote me. My response to the other was very clearly what I just said to you. I did NOT say they bashed them with the original comment. I was responding to a completely different person on that response when I discussed bashing. I play both games and have done since both launch days. I am far from dull & uneventful. The games are different & in TSTO I can let my imagination run wild and have created an amazing, realistic & creative town thanks to all the land and great decorations. I can’t do that in FGTQFS. When one game has nothing to do, the other game has. Bashing everyone that plays TSTO is just wrong. There are a lot more of us playing that game than FGTQFS. Both games are fun, amazing & different enough. If you don’t like TSTO that’s ok, but don’t insult those of us who do. ****

But there is just one thing…space, land…I have nowhere near enough, I’ve had to put buildings into my inventory! So even one extra strip of land on the west side won’t be enough especially if you’re introducing lots more buildings over the next few months as you mentioned above. Basically asking for more land please, never had this issue with simpsons game they had loads! Although did get bored of that game, family guy is far better in my opinion!

Amazing work so far in this game, Matt by you and the entire company. You guys work hard and it shows.
I guess now is a good a time as any to throw out what I’d like to see moving forward. And that is more character skins for characters that don’t have any. Bruce finally got one which is a thumbs up from me. I’d love to see more for others that are still patiently waiting as there is a lot to work with. 🙂

I think that with the need of the time machine to access the multiverse and the showing of the Meg upgrade for Feb 14th, I believe the blimp will be complete around that time!!

I know this sounds crazy, but I think March will finish the Time Blimp storyline and with time travel being involved it’ll be a mash up of 80s time travel movies: BTTF, The Terminator and Star Trek IV. It would be a perfect time to do it with Terminator: Genesys coming out, Star Trek 3 on the horizon and BTTF’s 30th Anniversary.
