Star Trek New Mini Questlines: Riker, Geordi, Klingon Chris, Starfleet Peter, & Deanna Troi

Hello There Clammers!

A couple of mini questlines popped up after I finished writing up the Phase 3 questline…naturally.  Riker, Geordi, Starfleet Peter, Klingon Chris & Deanna Troi are featured in five short, fun little questlines.

And that my friends completes the five questline shorts.  If you’re working on unlocking items for a certain character, my advice is don’t worry so much about these.  They can be worked on later.  Focus on unlocking the character you’re working on and come back to these.

What do you think of the new questlines?  Have the popped up in your game yet?  Have you started working on them or are you working on characters instead?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. Anyone else having trouble withFrom Boy to Klingon Pt. 3? It kicks me out of the game when I click the check mark. I tried to uninstall and re-install, no luck. Tried iPhone and iPad, same story. Please help! Thank you!

  2. Looking for some insight. My progress seems out of whack and I am wondering if I missed something. I currently have Troi, Mort, Worf, and Klingon Chris. The bridge is unlocked and I have been collecting for ST Lois and Locutus but it is so slow. I am Starfleet lvl 5 finally but I never get borg and I have never been offered the “…without Picard..” quest line past stage 2. Is there something I am missing??

My only quests left open are
    Bat’leth out of Hell 4
    Frame of Mind 4
    Come to your Senses 5

  3. I know this isn’t the correct forum but I’m struggling with getting locutus and Lois costume. I have everything except laser pointers (15/35) and white powder (13/25). I know this is a rare drop item for both quagmire and Chris but it’s acting like an epic drop. I don’t get enough phaser energy drops either to get from peterships.

  4. Unlocked Locutus and noticed a Picard skin on Facespace… Sweet! Working on the mini quests, waiting for the new update… (Thanks for the awesome site)

  5. Just got Locutus & still got enough time left over to try to knock out a little of this & other outstanding questlines I’ve got lingering before phase 4 starts. At least I can sleep through the night tonight without setting a couple of alarms, maybe even achieve REM sleep for the first time since this phase dropped.

  6. Anyone who has Lois and Locutus and wondering if you should get these out of the way or keep characters on tasks that drop items I would recommend the latter. Once I got both, drop rates for everything plummeted SIGNIFICANTLY! YMMV…

  7. Not sure if I overlooked it but is there anyway to purchase blue transporter orbs? I still need 4 and havent received any orbs at all today and I need 1 more to try to take another trip. Would be nice to complete week 1s character before week 3 update.

  8. Wow, I’m getting the opposite result with the laser pointer. I’ve collected 90% of what’s needed. In two days or so I should have locutus. But unfortunately I have less than half needed to unlock Louis uniform, specifically that white bag which never ever drops. A whole week just to collect half. They better help us out otherwise I’ll be unlocking Louis after the next phase and with how the drop rates are so low there is no way I’ll be getting the last free uniform (Stewie).

  9. Why would they bring out all these side missions just before the next update? What will happen if u don’t do them? Or do u have to do them at some point?
Has anyone else saved up any of the Orange diamonds incase they are needed to craft any of the next items from the replicator?

  10. How do you post a pic for a caption this? Also, why have extra rare items? Like most items aren’t hard enough we have extra rare items. Or like Troi there are 2 ways to get chocolate. Transporting and clams. 6 RARE energies to get a CHANCE at chocolate. Rare is hard enough but couple that with just a chance and it can be worse than extra rare items!

  11. Just wondering if you remember what Herbert’s task was for All the Way Bare Part 3? I would love to send him on it while I patently wait for Chris to finish his 24 hour task from part 2 😛

  12. *way* too many long tasks (16-24 hrs) in these.

  13. Ugh, I was far enough behind before all these. Still need Lois, Locutus, and Herbert after 20 odd attempts, (mostly with single characters) just won’t drop. No way will I be ready for next phase.

  14. I think I play this game too much. That is I have the luxury of being able to play at any hour of the day (for example, I could collect Bonnie every hour for batteries without it interfering with real life). Because of this I have easily (misnomer) been able to get the stuff needed for unlocks in a timely manner (usually with a few days to spare). This particular phase has been grueling to say the least. And I have done something I usually don’t do in buying premium characters so I have also had extra help in getting more resources. With that being said I am still days away from being ready for next phase. Those laser pointers are just not dropping and I believe I am 16 out. Now if I am so far back, I hate to speculate on where others are that haven’t had my “advantage” of playing constantly. And they (TC) decide to throw these mini-quest in to make advancement that much harder? Come on.

    • Nothing requires you to HAVE to do these right now. You can do them at anytime, that is YOUR choice. For many, these may help them. It is all in how YOU play. 😉

Why can’t Patrick Stewart be a part of this game? It not fair. He wants to join the crew. Hahaha

    Like

    • That’s easy, just send him in a 24 hour task. Everytime I send some character in a 1 day task, TinyCo enables a timed questline specifically for that character, lol.

    • Locotus is Baccard, So shouldn’t this be a skin for Patrick Stewart? Seems like an easy way to make him part of the event, he’s not even collecting items, why is this?

  16. I’m having a hard time collecting the laser pointers. Still need 6 of the little beggars! I saved up phaser energy and was able to net 7 last night with the phaser battles. Back to collecting phaser energy now for another go later tonight. Going to try not to use clams to finish up with that task. I have been able to stock up on the other energy items and currently have 83 yellow, 31 green, 52 blue, and 14k DC. I seem to always end up short with what I need the most ie. Phaser energy. I bought the fuzzball room early on in the event and it’s been most helpful in stocking up on DC and it’s been more fun popping the extra tribbles that get released. Looking forward to the sickbay release. I’ve been watching old episodes of Next Generation and the episode I watched last night was the one where Beverly Crusher was getting buggered by the Scottish ghost. Would be too funny if she had that as one of the tasks in the game 😁.

  17. My list of quests is backed up, I put them on it in the hope of earning enough XP to level up in preparation of the next warp core upgrade but it is extremely slow progress with Picard/Locutus and especially Starfleet Lois. I’m putting off the 24 hour tasks, especially for Worf and Troi as they are the only ones to attack the Borg, who also have a ridiculous drop rate of items.

The main problem though is the phaser game seems completely broken – even though it says you need to shoot the Petercraft you never get anything unless you shoot an asteroid too – but not if the asteroid is in front of the Petercraft as that will defect the phaser from the Petercraft – so you need to get the Petercraft with an asteroid behind it – which is a rare event in itself, let alone the fact it moves very fast and you have to place the target and then fire it from a different part of the screen. IMO it is completely broken, and given a lot of the collectables basically require you to gain it that way it’s a poor show by TinyCo. It feels like they’re not even play testing their own game anymore… I must have fired 30-40 phasers and got about 3 laser pointers…

    • Sorry you feel that way. My best suggestion for XP is the Replicator. Many items provide a lot of XP if you have the Materials to use.

As for the Phaser Battles, my results have been more 50-80% payouts. Just gotta time it just right and not waste the shots.

  20. Still need chocolate, came up empty past 3 times, and back to a terrible blue energy drop rate. This is by far the worst user designed event in the history of them. I’ve played every day since this came out, and but really about to move on to real life like I moved on from TSTO… Pretty easily. This is just a waste of time.

    • Now you get it. This is not a game, it is an addiction. It is designed to make you frustrated enough to pay money for clams but not so much as to actually abandon the same. Bunny and the other girl are here to make sure that. South Park got it right, TinyCo is the dealer, Bunny & co. the pusher and you the addict; this “game” stopped being fun a long time ago. Now you are just wasting half a hour a day clicking and getting frustrated.

If you are buying all the premium charactors, you’d be spending $50 a month, the same as triple-A titles but is it as fun and as expensive to make?

      • For crying out loud…that’s not even remotely what we’re here for. Honestly, if the game isn’t fun…STOP PLAYING. I could care less if you give TinyCo a dime. It doesn’t help me one bit if you put money into the game. We’re here to provide a fun place for players to come, talk about the game, get tips and tricks on how to play & that’s it. Bunny and I (aka “the other girl”…) could care less if you put money into the game. All we care about is creating a fun place…if you can’t see that then maybe you need to find somewhere else to go.
I’m seriously sick and tired of people creating this notion that we push players to spend money or we work for TinyCo. NONE of that is true. We provide this site for FREE to everyone that comes here. And we put THOUSANDS of dollars into this site and our game, from our own pockets. And what to we get in return? Some really awesome players, who get that and understand that. But every once in a while we get a class A jerk like you who doesn’t quite “get it”. Next time…try to “get it” a little more.
If you don’t like the game..QUIT. It really is that simple.

        • Is it just me or are there a lot more curmudgeonly people commenting on this site lately? It’s a game people. You are supposed to have fun with it. I think this is a great site and the girls have helped us out A LOT with tips, telling us what comes next, what we need, etc. and they have gotten requirements changed when things are unrealistic. I think this site and the girls are great and anyone who is no longer having fun should just stop playing and find another game! No one is twisting your arm to make you play! Thank you Bunny and Alissa for all that you do! There are still lots of us out here that appreciate what you do!

      • This site does nothing to push the game on us. I’ve seen the fantastic girls who run the site tell many people to stop playing the game if it is no longer peaking their interest. Personally for me I have more fun on this game than I would on a big system game. I paid $60 for Destiny and it kept me entertained for a couple weeks. This game has kept me entertained daily for almost a year now. That’s worth some money. I get that some aspects are frustrating but if your not having fun overall just stop playing. Tinyco won’t miss you and this site surely won’t miss you either.

      • Hey, everyone.
I don’t know why you are wasting yr time on this site if it’s so negative and if the people who spend time and money to not only help us but gives us a place to go to talk and have fun. If you knew anything about this site and what they do you would know Alissa and bunny(and the wookie) never “push” anything on us. In fact, they actually spend their own money so we don’t have to. I live that I can come here and see everything the game has to offer even if I don’t buy the items. I can see everything about everything the games have to offer. I have spent a little bit of money on TSTO but I haven’t spent a dime on family guy or obviously for this site but I can still get as much out of the game because I can see all the jokes and storylines and I get to see all the buildings and content on this site, FOR FREE. As someone who love both addicts site, I think some people on here are just “amateurs” and should keep their uniformed negative comments to themselves. Thanx and have fun.

Before I would send Chris and Geordie for about 60% of the likelyhood bars.

I should be able to unlock Troi now. Just need to grind up 6 transporter energy at around 1 per 6hrs, and then wait the 8hrs to complete the chocolate planet :/

This site has helped me tremendously, and I appreciate the hard work Bunny and Alissa put into it. Thank you for your never ending help!!!

I am trying to be proactive for the next event. I have all the characters for warp core 3 and enough life support thingies to open warp core 4 when it opens. I am at star fleet level 8. Should I even waste time on the side quests, or should I stockpile on phaser energy, transporter energy, life support energy? I am off for Spring break this week, so I want to be ahead of the game when my teaching days star again on Monday. Any thoughts? Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post in, sorta of new here.

  27. It’s a trap! Sorry, wrong franchise…

Seriously though, too busy collecting materials to bother with these. I still need 11 more Felicium before I can even think about sending Chris on what adds up to 46 hours worth of tasks (not counting the 24 hour task I am putting off in Herbert’s questline). Maybe if just one other character had a task for that, but noooooooo…. The same goes for Geordi with 38 hours worth of tasks – he’s too busy gathering Phaser Energy (seemingly the only way to get the Laser Pointers since Quagmire is too stingy with his drop rate). Feh.

Thank you so much for this glimpse into the future, I can now plan accordingly. For the first time during an event, I am struggling to acquire the necessary items for characters. And I just know that Quagmire and Chris will be needed for the next phase of item collecting, putting me even further behind. I mean, out of 70 characters in my Quahog only 10 are currently doing anything in this event. What is this, Rura Penthe?

Being honest, these questlines are a lil bit useless, espically when all these characters are needed to get energy, fight borg, and progress in main questline etc

    Liked by 1 person

    • Not really useless…
If you care about the event or game or ST or whatever..they are helping to round out the experience. The only caveat to that is the times for tasks being so long, but otherwise I wish they would cram as much of this stuff in as possible. The cut scenes, to me are a very rare and valuable part of the game, because you only get one chance to see it..and its usually very well written and funny stuff. So its just what you wanna get out of it.

      • We also continually ask for better drop rates, more characters to perform more important tasks and overall, a less frustrating playing experience. This event, while impeccably drawn and animated, is a gigantic cluster you know what.

        • Did you check the planet drops lately? As I keep saying, the game ALWAYS gets better as the Event progresses. Chocolate just became really easy

          Liked by 2 people

          • Yes, chocolate has gotten easier, but that was from last week’s phase. That “fix” is a little late in the game for an event progression. This should have been done shortly after phase 3 started, not a day or so before phase 4. And the chocolate is easy compared to the laser pointers to come. So I feel too little help, too late in the phase.

            Like

    • I haven’t checked the math, but if the quests earn more starfleet-xp than the item drop tasks then they’re also useful for the event. It would depend which you currently need more.

  32. Getting way behind on this one myself too. Struggled for transporter energy last week and since the new phase I’ve managed to get that but still need 4 chocolate which hasn’t came in last 4/5 trips… Just a shame as 3/4 quests as waiting on Troi for actions so gridlocked until chocolate shows up… And during Easter it should be in plentiful supply too!

  35. ✨I wondered if these ones were new and just added because I started “Taking Command” earlier today and didn’t know where it came from or if it’s important or not. Kinda glad tho cause I’m just at the VERY edge and end of Level4 and looks like I need only need a half-point or 1 more full-point to finally be leveled up to 5!….These extra questlines are probably just some more extra ways to get more Starfleet XP points and crystals of course.

Ehh…well then leveling up to 6 is going to DEFINITELY be a pain and is going to take me some time to do it obviously…Not going to be at Level6 by Thursday’s release either BOOOOOO lol 😳

  36. Thanks for taking time to post this. Is there a max amount of quests going concurrently that would prevent a new one from popping up?

  37. This list is helpful, thank you! Now I know I don’t need to bother with any of these.

I’ve been wondering where the incentive is to complete any of these side quests, not just these in this event but all of them. Maybe it would be worthwhile If there was a reward other than a little XP and event currency, whether it be 5-10 clams, or for this particular event maybe some of the various energy items. Really long tasks with no real reward that can also take away from collecting meaningful items to progress the game aren’t very appealing. For me, the banter of characters between completed tasks isn’t enough to make me want to do these side quests that have no impact on the game. I know they are geared for when characters have downtime with nothing to collect, but there hasn’t been much of that for me so far in this event, especially for characters that drop energy. Trying to stockpile as much as possible.

Also, a 12 hour task to take a number 1? Someone get that man to sick bay, he has a serious problem!

    • For me, the cool thing was is EVERY Material drop quest I sent them on dropped. So it did help with some items, so there was that. Not sure if others will have the same results. It also may help some to get XP for needed level ups. Also filler for those few odd out that are “bored”. Lol. Mainly I think it is just to give individually questlines to those that didnt have one. 😉

I know he was JUST released into the game and there have been many OTHER essential posts put up on the site that you have spent over 6000 clams on, but you better and hurry up … use all your clams and time… and get it written up so you can post it. 😉

OR… you can wait a bit while it gets compiled and put up with the other 12 posts we are still compiling. 😉

      • Come on Bunny. This is expected of you, and Alissa…to cater to individual needs, immediately, without a please or a thank you or a ‘when you have time.’ Grrrrrrrr

      • No need to be like that, I wasn’t complaining, just asking a question, I thought maybe I had missed it in another post that you girls have been updating.

Respectful, constructive disagreement is welcome, but comments made to provoke others, be malicious, or distract from the purpose of this site will be removed.

All the Way Bare Pt 1
Have Klingon Chris Pick Asteroids 6 hours (not certain that is it)
Have Edo Hebert have Wardrobe Malfunction 12 hours

        Pt 2
Have Klingon Chris Spar with Bat’Leth 24 hours
Have Edo Hebert be Carefree 2 hours

I’ll let you know Pt 3 once Chris is done sparring.

If you aren’t enjoying it anymore, then stop playing.

I’m also saying there is a LOT of info too in this event. We have it all pulled now. Just a matter of putting it in a detailed post and pushing it to the site. As Herbert is a side Character and may take time for many to earn, he’ll be the last on the list. Main questlines and Main Characters will take the focus. 😉

Like I said… I was just pulling your leg. 😉

          • Ok 🙂 Glad of that, cause I’m kinda new around here and I’m not overly sure when you’re serious or not yet. BTW Thanks for all of the info here. It’s really helpful.

Are you girls going to do another poll soon? SO we can find out where everyone is? I’ m willing to bet people are further behind this time. I’m an avid/active player and I know I won’t have SF Lois unlocked, might have locucust since I’m down to needing 5 LP’s, before the next upgrade. I’m Star Fleet level 9 so I’m ok there.

I’m just dreading the next release because I’m not done with the current group yet.

            • Don’t worry. This one is a bit different than others and will take a bit each group. Sounds like you’re still doing well on your XP and characters.

Still some basic posts to get out first (like Herbert) but another poll on the works soon. 😉

  40. Only about 6 useful characters and despite them being needed for materials and unlocks I have to keep sending them on 16-24hour tasks to get enough to level up! Yesterday I did practically nothing in the game except tribbles as Troi, Chris and worf were all on 24 hour tasks, Riker on a 12hour task. Such a badly implemented event.

  41. My strategy is to go after character items during the day, and perform the longer questline items while I sleep. I have everything for Lois now except the Felicium, which is going to take awhile. Replicating two casket ejectors took care of my Starfleet experience shortcoming, with each providing 800XP. I am nearly ready for the next Warp Core upgrade.

    • Where are you on Locutus? That is the key to next phase unlock. Until he is finished you cannot get phase 4.

      • I am getting excited lol. 3 more laser pointers and 7 more felicium to go with one day remaining. Gonna be tight.

Rift so far none of the questlines have had to be completed in order to open up the next warp level. All you need is the correct star fleet level to move to the next warp level and life energies to open the next section.

Because this is such a long event I would almost have to say it was done this way intentionally so that if stuck on an area you can work on multiple areas concurrently to catch up. If they made it linear to quests then it would be very difficult for anyone to get to the end.

To me the characters/skins are way more import than the questing is.

  42. Hope these will stay after the event ends (I know it’s unlikely) I would rather work on the main quests and energy.

  43. I think these have been created to help people get to level 6 in the two days left because, if anyone is the same as me, they’re struggling to get to level 5 even. One last chance to get Troi tonight, and if not then I’m miles behind…

    • Crafting the Casket Launcher is worth a BOATLOAD of XP if you haven’t done it already.

      • THANK YOU!!!! I was all excited because I had just hit level 5 today and thought that’s all I needed…. Now I realize I’ll need to be on level 6! Just purchased the casket launcher based on your suggestion and I’m only a few little bars away from 6 now!! You saved me a ton of time! 😃

      • I agree and for anyone saying they only see the XP bar blink but never move, get this and you will see it zoom across it’s awesome!

  44. So, do you think this is something to keep us busy for an inevitable delay with the next phase?

    Like

    • Nope, I actually think it is a questline specific to the Characters as all included didn’t really have their “own” questlines… they were included in the Main Phase ones. 😉
