I just figured I’d let everyone know who doesn’t that BBC America is replaying Star Trek: TNG starting with Season 1 today … this would be a great way for anyone that would like to be more educated while playing ☺, check your local listing for what days, times and channel.

Anybody else having this problem? About every 5 minutes or so, Counsuela pops up telling me I have lost connection. When I hit the try again button, she goes away and everything is fine. I never actually lose a connection, just keep getting her showing up. Was really annoying when I was trying to blast spaceships.

Bonnie and Seamus feel horrible. But, lucky Bonnie has chugged her last bottle of wine, after no breaks in past 3 weeks. Poor Seamus has 40 more bottle caps, and has been cartwheeling since christmas.

man, i think TinyCo are in love with Riker’s “sit Riker style” job. its constantly being asked in all the lil side quests…like seriously, the guy can do other stuff, stuff that doesn’t take half a day. lol

Hay Bunny, I’ve been reading the posts however I havent seen anything yet that says after what task or mission is the timed pop up to get Klingon Meg if you buy the other 3 premium characters. The pop up never showed up in my game and I’ve been waiting for it. I keep playing hoping it’ll show up soon and still nothing. I keep leaving Peter open so that it’ll show up, but nope. The one time I can purchase these so I can get the extra bonus person is the one time I never get the pop up. Can u please tell me when does the pop up trigger? I’m already at Sick Bay and Warp Core 4. I have to still unlock Beverly Crusher and Vulcan Quagmire as well as purchase Q, Worf and Guinan but I wanted to wait to purchase the premium characters until that pop up triggered so I can get Klingon Meg. Please let me know what task triggers it or how far down a task til it triggers or does it trigger after buying Q or what? Please and thank you for your help.

I went on the tiny co website to try and get reimbursed for a room I accidentally purchased and I still haven’t gotten a reply back. It was a 120 or 125 clam room.

I am positive when I tried contact through the game before that they did not respond whatsoever. How long is it expected to see a response?

3-5 business as of late, but if overloaded…at times more. This includes an auto reply that sometimes generates. If you get it, just keep responding to stay in queu for the issue at hand.
If it is a more severe issue ie the techs can’t isolate the cause… it may take a lil longer to fix, but they do keep working at it. Had a few players that it to 3wks or a month to find, isolate, and resolve but they did get them back in. It is why it is hard to help on a ONE on ONE isolated issue. It is usually something specific to your device or your game, so basics don’t help and it becomes needle in a million haystacks hunt. I always tell players if nothing back, send a followup every 5 days. If you are still getting feedback, keep responding til it is resolved.
Also keep in mind that user errors my NOT be able to be resolved (like buying something you don’t want with clams or an “oops” you made while playing), those are all case by case basis. But I will say this… no matter the issue… kindness goes a long way. Remember they also are there just trying to help on the other end too. Just like here. Difference is they have a million people asking for it at once via multiple messages. So you are essentially waitign in line for your turn. Here… we can isolate it easier and flow isn’t THAT much. 😉

✨Lol this is funny, but I just got the very 1st space condom today!!! I’ve been concentrating on getting Locutus & Starfleet Lois in the past week or so,it’s taking FOREVER!!!…I seriously NEVER had this problem of falling behind in an event since I started playing. I completed and obtained MOSTLY every little thing from the Halloween event to Valentine’s Day event, but this one It’s just..alot of stuff in a short period of time kind of…BUT! I can say I have been making ALOT of progress today and yesterday, just needing a couple more things for phase3 characters! I just NEVER want to fall behind because for the most part, I’ve been playing freemium for this event. My reason being I’m not a Star Trek fan&&idk who all the premium characters are or like how important they are etc., but that’s okay! I did take a step back tho over the weekend and had a little break from the game and now enjoy back to playing again 😄
I think all the stressed-out players who are just NOT having fun or even NOT laughing anymore in their games, well they should ALL just take a 1 or 2 day break or HOWEVER MANY days you want so by the time you wanna start back up playing again, it’s fun all over! and keep telling yourselves that this IS JUST A GAME!…definitely NOT a full-time job or anything like that lol 😉💖

I consider this event as a huge experiment from TinyCo, and we should be glad that they are willing to offer different gameplay from time to time. However, as any experiment, this event has a lot, A LOT of issues. I don’t agree with most of comments (at least negative ones), even as I’ve fallen behind (which I never do) in the questline progress, due to lousy material drops. I don’t need to have every character available, and if I do want an specific one, I’m aware that it may cost me clams in exchange. I’ll keep playing this game as long as it is funny, whenever it begins to feel like work I’ll look for something else instead, without stressing all other players that still enjoy this app. Have fun everybody!

Enjoying another nice warm day, off from work today. Thinking of giving my car a bath after I take my kitties to the vet for a check up. Until I have to leave the house to do that, I’m thinking a nice relaxing hour or two of reading and a pot of coffee… taking a break from the game (hopefully). I have accepted that unless I want to spend money (clams) on the game, I am not going to get everyone. Still trying Lois and Locutus, almost done with them, then on to characters for the Sick Bay… Not looking forward to either, have a couple items for each already, no space condoms, unsure if I even want to bother. lol.

I am not a starters fan at all, but I am enjoying the event. I see so many people get flustered over all of the drop rates and so forth. It’s nice to sit back and not worry. I play this game a lot and do my best to unlock things because TinyCo always seems to fix any issues that arise…so I can sit back in comfort knowing that if I try to get everything, I will get there as much as I play.

I think and am seeing a pattern in the comments that those of us that aren’t big Trekkies aren’t getting quite as stressed by the event, perhaps because we have no emotional attachment to the characters. This made me think what theme would I be so emotionally attached to I couldn’t bare to miss a character. I’m thinking a Walking Dead event might just see me in a blind panic to collect everything. What about other addicts, what theme would bring out the completist in you?

Had a good week, although a couple days after having the stitches on my back removed, the wound decided to re open.
So now I’m dealing with that!
I feel like I’m so far behind in this event. I just opened the sick bay and still don’t have starfleet Lois or the Borg guy (sorry, don’t know his name).
Is there any point in wasting the 12hrs for peter to drop a captains log if I’m not going to be getting Q?

I’m just waiting for my partner to get home from work so we can watch Game of Thrones… One of my favourite shows! In the meantime I stuck on some Family Guy. I’ve been watching Season 12 which I’ve not seen before and well, that last episode was just unnecessarily sad 😥

I know im jumping ahead here but I know in just a couple of weeks this amazing event will be over. I’ve been just thinking to myself about what would be a good themed event they could possibly do in the future. I want a DOCTOR WHO event. There is so many possibilities. A Doctor Who event would be fabulous, but the BBC keep a very tight reign on the licensing and I could not imagine them allowing one of their top shows which is primarily aimed at children, even although lots of us grown up geeks love it, to be linked to the adult themed Family Guy franchise. The same goes for Star Wars now Disney hold the rights. But I’m sure TinyCo have a few things planned but I can’t imagine another big franchise event this year. Maybe a follow up to ComicCon and some smaller events. What do you think?

Welll, despite many of the drop rate problems for this event I am enjoying it very much especially not being a big Trekkie fan myself although I much prefer the OG characters to the TNG characters I am still enjoying unlocking all the characters and can’t wait to see what Tinyco has up their sleeves for the final phase of this event. I do hope we will see more OG characters than Kirk. I hope to see Spock and Sulu also.

Very strange. Beverly is not unlocked in one of the games I am testing but they still spawn. Have you tried some basics? Make sure you are on the latest version of the game from your app market? Restart device? Etc…

Ofcourse bunny I’m not new to the game but this morning they did finally pop, maybe it was something small causing the error, I did have no buildings or rooms appearing but I did reach tinyco so it must have fixed the issue

I had the Sick Bay unlocked since release and have yet to get the first few questlines popped up for it because of the fact I don’t have Locutus unlocked yet so….Ahh,nvm. I’m just not even gonna try super hard anymore to complete this event. Pretty bummed out tho because at the beginning of this, I was having ALOT of fun and tons of laughs. Now…that has ALL disappeared. 😢
My bf doesn’t have Deanna Troi yet STILL He needs 4 more chocolates and some extra crystals. I’m jus gonna learn from him in how he’s NOT on his game every single hour to every 20 minutes that I’ve played like that all the time. Just gonna take a few steps back I suppose.
I do hope everybody else is having a “grand ole time” with whatever you on working on in your games!!! 😔

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but is there any indication that we’ll get to keep access to the Enterprise once the event is over? I imagine not but the Star Trek characters are going to lose a lot of their actions once it’s gone.

When I learned that they were taking the ship, I sent them a message asking if they could at least make some sort of shell available to put around the rooms that we were going to keep, so we were not stuck with a bunch of floating rooms, like the bathroom and bedroom from the valentines event, and got a response stating that it was a good idea, and they were thinking of doing something, so it should be interesting, if nothing else! *chuckle*

I think the joke itself it that the Red Shirts in the original series were the folks who were basically destined to die on away missions.
The name change wouldn’t have that hook to the series then.

I took a day off from my game today and took my 6yr old to enchanted forest, which is a local storybook theme park. We had a blast. I had so much fun seeing all the little buildings like the crooked mans house and the candy cottege from hansel and grettle. it was a nice day off from family guy.

Coming along pretty well. Just gatheting supplies for Crusher and Quagmire. Drop rates for phaser energy are much better, bit hit detection could use some work I think, wasted quite a few on shots that didn’t register. On a side note, I unlocked Stewie today, so I’ll have a shot at his new outfit next week!

OMG !!!! I am so lost in the game right now. There are like 6-7 quest lines going, the same 4-5 characters are needed for those quest lines. I sending them on the quests but j have no idea what quest line eacj of them are working on. This is so mixed up and so confusing. aaaaahhhh !!!!!
I’m not even reading the dialogues anymore. What’s the point. Aaaahhhhh !!!!!

I feel like the star trek event should be the most fun event yet, but do to the pacing is now one of the least fun. (The very least fun being king butt). I wonder if it’s because instead of very clear set stages where we are used to unlocking everything before progressing they planned for much more overlap, (i.e. i just got diana on one of my games, have lois and locutus on none of them,have sick bay on only one game) or if it’s just an overwhelming amount of things to try to work on so i get frustrated and default to just trying for one thing and assuming I’ll never get the rest.
I do like the set event area,for once it seems players with very large spaces don’t get penalized for being a high level. That was always annoying, having to delete roads to trap event mobs lest you never hit enough at once to earn a multiplier. . But in my low level games hitting many mobs at once was easy as they didn’t have a giant space to roam free. The enterprise really evens it out and i hope future events work like that too.
you may be wondering why I’m putting this in yadda yadda yadda, but it’s because it’s not really a complaint so much as observation and contemplating. Also by making a post this long i am probably making many people think “tl:dr” which is the internet equivalent of yadda yadda yadda 😉

No offense to the man but Will Wheaton has been media wh0r3 since NG ended and would have probably have done this game on the cheap. If he’s not involved, it would only be because they never asked him. I would like to see him added though and would purchase him for a reasonable rate to round out the cast. Hear that TinyCo? If you haven’t done it already, call Wheaton up for an impromptu session and add him in. I’m ready to part with my money 😛

Bunny did you notice that when you have Guinan on the task that drops phaser energy, if you click on her, it says “pew pew pewing?” Lol. I can’t help but wonder if that was a direct result of your words, when phaser battles first came out. You used to say that a lot. It always made me smile. 🙂

Yippee got Vulcan Quagmire today. And getting closer with Beverly. One thing that has happened though if my red shirts are not spawning. I used Q to clear them and have none came back since and I know I will need three of them for Beverly to clear once I unlock her. Any idea if they will return. Don’t want to get stuck on a part of the main quest.
Other than that looking forward to next month for movies. pitch Perfect 2 and Poltegeist is coming out. Can’t wait to see them.

I did buy the Vulcan planet and got like 25 of the space condoms from it. The rest were from Q (3 or 4) and the rest from destroying the shielded Petercraft.

How do you know Vulcan Quagmire isn’t needed? I can’t find information confirming that.
I also am planning to avoid stress and skip Vulcan Quagmire and save my Phaser Energy while trying to find out if he is needed to complete the main questline. If he is, then I need to change those plans.
You should keep an eye out for that information also to avoid being unable to continue the main questline.

So a tribble just dropped a ×10 clam, and I know for a fact since I was down to 3 clams after scooping up the Klingon Meg deal, and now I’m at 13. Anyone else notice great drops on clams for this event?

It was because TinyCo just created a FaceSpace group and, by buying Q, you completed the group and got 10 clams.

It amuses me that the game did a full screen startup ad that basically said “get Q because he helps get rid of redshirts” when my game doesn’t have any redshirts yet anyway because I’m still trying to unlock Picard & Lois. Of course, I got Q anyway, because it’s Q.

So they finally made “Outer Space Weirdos” section in FaceSpace!!!! I also noticed that on Locotus’ FaceSpace there is a regular Captian Picard outfit!! But now there are still more character/costumes who need FaceSpace sections. I was think for costumes there would be Klingon Meg, Ferengi Mort, Vulcan Quagmire, Skimpy Herbert, and I feel like there will be another costume. Hopefully for Joe or Bonnie. Then the only other characters that we know of without w FaceSpace group are Locutus and Kirk. However, if you look at the timer, there is a whole week after phase 5 is over meaning there could be a whole new ship or part of the ship! This “6th Phase” would have to, just have to, have Spock. Dang it was good to share my thoughts.

Mine’s showing a tick for completed, but no reward… I have tried force close, etc, and will give it a day or so to catch up before I contact Tiny Co, but wanted to know what should have happened, if anything….

Finally got Skimpy Herbert today after 2 days of grinding Deanna, Peter and Chris on the 1 hour mission with an alarm to tell me when they were done…Well I have nothing better to do 😀

My husband and I saw Fast & Furious 7 at an Emagine theater with the cool seats that move and rumble. The tribute to Paul Walker at the end was touching. It hasn’t snowed in 5 days…could Spring finally be here?

Hello there fellow addicts! I have been taking advantage of the fact so few characters are in play on the enterprise, and have been using them in Quahog. Since this event started, I have unlocked Stewie and Carter, built the blimp, and am now in the process of unlocking Tom Tucker. Whenever I get frustrated with the shielded petercraft, I look at my blimp! *chuckle*

Predator 2 is an awful movie! I actually thought about suing for my lost time back! 🙂
I’d say go straight to…Predators. It’s suprisingly good and is the sequel that I would have wanted to the original. If you like the Alien franchise, I’d also recommend Alien v Predator (original only!). I thought it was going to be a total train wreck but it was surprisingly good (full disclosure – I went into it with no expectations).

The 2nd film is a completely different thing. I liked it when it came out but don’t expect anything too similar to the first. It’s an urban setting with an older cop doing the chasing(?) as opposed to a highly trained military team in a jungle.

Contrary to what the others say here, I loved Predator II. It’s very different from the original, and takes place in the “urban jungle” of LA. The cast is great (Lots of the same folks from Aliens, including Vasquez & Hudson!) And even Gary Busey is great in his role. Crazy as always. Give it a watch. Just don’t go into it expecting the same style at all.

The guy who played Mac in the original (Bill Duke) frequents my store sometimes. He’s got a good laugh, first time I met him I told him how I cringed when the three dot target was on him then his head got blown up. He was also the Captain in Action Jackson, bonus in that movie is you have another Predator actor, Carl Weathers (played Dillon).
Maybe they’ll bring back the Predator character in FGTQFS if they ever have a Predator event, that would rock.

To be honest only the first film is any good, 2 had an O.K idea but it executed really bad, the VS films are really bad and Predators is pretty much another VS film. Games are good thought.
