UPDATE iOS: Just a quick FYI for those of you on iOS 6 or earlier, if you can update your iOS device to a higher version, I would suggest doing so and it may just alleviate the issues at hand. For the older devices, I know that may not be possible, but for those that can… it will help. 😉
UPDATE WARBIRD: I am seeing more growing reports of players not able to update having issues with the PeterCraft showing up again. This is causing the Warbird to not Phase in n out like it is supposed to every 5 to 10 seconds. This issue has been reported, feel free to do so as well from your game. In the meantime, force closing and at time restarting device will bring back the Warbird. ONLY fire on the Warbird if you choose this method.
UPDATE IOS: TinyCo has narrowed the glitch to mainly devices running iOS 6 or earlier. A patch is still in the works so hang in there while they work to resolve it.

We are now well into Warp Core Level 5 with lots going on and lots of changes. I am seeing a lot of repetitive comments all over, so wanted to help by putting the main ones here.
Let’s jump in and take a look at some of the main questions we are seeing and the answers we have so far on them.
There will be more to this post, but I wanted to get this out right away due to iOS concerns
iOS NEWEST VERSION CRASHING GAMES
I have seen reports growing of iOS players locked out of there games after upgrading to the latest game patch in the App Market. There are looking into it already and I am still waiting word back on it. In the meantime, please email them if you are having the issue to help isolate it a lil better. Email help@tinyco.com

TALOSIAN STEWIE
It seems our lil friend may have a dual personality, go figure. Lol. When collecting items for Talosian Stewie, you will see DUAL item bars showing up on the top right corner of the screen. One a BIG icon of him, one a lil one. This has already been reported. Will update if anymore info provided on this. This has been corrected.
Second concern for Talosian Stewie, he continues to drop Materials once you reach the MAX of them. This is mainly due to his is an item in the Replicator, so like the other items in the Replicator items will keep dropping until all possible are created. In other words, once you make his costume the Material drops will stop.
DILITHIUM CONCERNS
I see many of you once again panicking on how to progress in the game with the Dilithium Crystals. Once again I ask you to take a step back, relax, breathe. 😉
There are new ways to increase your Dilithium counts in the game, this one being Bertram. His battles will drop more and more and more Dilithium as you progress through his Battles. We will have a more detailed post on his battles coming up, but look to the Yeti post from Christmas to get an idea what to do. There are also many Crystals around on the planets. You may have left over Materials to still make trips to these planets to gain the Higher amounts of Dilithium Crystals. We will have more details on this too coming up.
STUCK ON QUESTLINES
TinyCo helped many players jump into the next level so you could gain access to more items. For some of you, this may have caused an issue of being stuck on questlines from the past. For instance, PeterCrafts needed but no longer around. If this is impacting you and you are on a questline that you can’t progress on, please message them right away from your game menu so they can see which players are still impacted by this.
Most of these issues SHOULD be fixed now, but if they are not for you… try the basics and contact TinyCo for further support if needed.
BOWEL REGULUS GLITCHING
Reports of players not able to even get into the Planet without it crashing the game. If you are still experiencing this, try to use a task from the task menu to “GO” to the Planet. If that is not an option, please message them right away from your game and let them know where you are in the questlines (name/ part #), what happens when you try to go there, what device you are playing on, and what version of the App you are on.
This SHOULD be patched by now, so Force Close and Restart to make sure you have the changes in place.
CHARACTER COSTUMES MISSING
We have posts on this all over the site, but it looks like it needs to be said again. There is a MAJOR issue if you try to “CREATE” more than one costume in Al’s. If you want to see what I mean, see the issue we had during Comic Con when two costumes hit Al’s to “CREATE” at the same time.
In other words, you have collected all the Materials listed, tapped on that “CREATE” button in Al’s, and are now waiting on the timer to complete so you have that New Costume for your Characters. (This is ANYONE. From Mermaid Peter, to Cop Joe, to Goth Chris, to Chumba Wumba Stewie, to Starfleet Lois.) ANY Costume at all that is currently timing down in Al’s will lock out the rest from being made until that costume is all done and you tap the check mark. 
Due to this, you will see Costumes for this event come and go while one another is being created. So if you do not see Talosian Stewie, Picard, Edo Herbert, or Ferengi Mort… check Al’s. Is another costume there on the timer being created? If so, wait til it is done. They will come back after you tap on the check mark to complete the Costume creation.
While a Costume is being “created” in Al’s and timer is going. NO Costumes show.
After Costume is done in Al’s, Costumes return to their location to continue. Be careful as this means their Material drops won’t show in tasks while they’re in limbo.

I have been locked out of the game for about 4 days now. Am on iPhone 4s and it happened after that update. Have emailed twice sending same info as required. Could you tell me what I might hear next? If a patch arrives or solution? Will it just turn up in apps? Such a shame as the whole event will now be ruined, even if I get game back I feel disenchanted. Thanks for this site though.

Hi gang, I don’t see this mentioned, which makes me a lil nervous… I tried to get a Casket Ejector from the replicator and got a borg cube instead. So, thinking it was probably my fault, I made extra sure to highlight the ejector again and click create… another borg cube. 😦 Now I’ve wasted all that material (ACK!) and gotten no casket ejector 5000.
So I went to the help section in-game and sent a message to tinyco, What I’m wondering is if that’s the best way to get help… I’ve not had to seek assistance with the game before. Will they reply in the game? Or is that just a portal to submit issues to the “team”.

Hmm.. I just tested it. Went in. Tapped on Casket Ejector and made sure it was highlighted in the Orangey color when you are on them. Checked it only Syntheziser and Crystals cost. Tapped create. Got Casket.
I would report it the way you did. See what happens.

Is anyone having trouble getting the Synthesizer Ore, I have the 2 rad Cargo bays and the Racquet ball court and I got 3 in the last 24 hrs??! Seems low to me, the only away mission that I can count on getting them with the characters I have available outside the Bertram Battles takes 8hrs and 6 Transporter energy, seems steep for the 2 I get in with the other items that is?!

Apologies if I’m just missing this in your post, but should I continue to hold off with the iOS update in the App Store? I’m running iOS 8.1.2. I see that it looks like the issues were mostly with iOS 6, just not sure what the benefit of updating is if things are working fine in the game now? Does anyone know what the update is actually updating? Thank you for any insight!

There are many patches to the game of issues players were experiencing. Hang ups on questlines that caused the game to crash when trying to complete. The PeterCrafts showing when it should only be Warbird. Things of that nature.
The issues we were seeing were mainly iOS 6, so up to you if you want to try… just know others that were locked out are still locked out today.

I”m running ios6 and would love to upgrade to ios7, but according to everyone I’ve spoken with or contacted at Apple, if I hit “update’ on my iPad, it will update to ios8. Apparently, there is no way to isolate the update to ios7. I’ve a iPad2 and I’ve seen that upgrading to ios8 really slows it down.

Sunblocker droprate is really very low..

Hmmm after some tests i’m still afraid of the dilithium.
When it stacks like the level before a level five bertram would only bring 500 diluthium for battling nearly 24h. A level three grants only 300. And the droprate at the transporter is also hillarious. Already used up most of my transporter energy.
Also we got now way to much life energy.
And when borg consuela, khan and scotty cost any dilithium…

Tell me about it! I have only three sunblocks even though Riker and Mort have been doing sunblock earning tasks since thursday. It seems that instead of being a rare dropout… is epic. LOL But it’s good fun.

I also can’t seem to get any, I’ve sent Mort continually, although broken it up with a different task, just to see if it would help. I’ve also sent Riker a few times, but mostly send him for cat food. I’m a bit worried I’ll fall behind for the first time!

I have an Android phone and I been experiencing freezing and crashing problems during playing the game usually early in the morning and late at night. And the drops are getting a little better.
Do you think the event will be extended? I’m just trying to unlock dr. Crusher. Also if I’m at the current level and have enough green enegry things can I open the holodeck, so I can try to get Data?

Once laser Bertram has been defeated, do we need to keep defeating him until the new levels are released, or is our progress saved there?

I have the option on creating Talosian Stewie, or Picard, but Dilithium is pretty slow to attain.
Stewie runs 4k and Picard runs 8k. I have 5,544 atm.
Would it be better to save for Picard, or go ahead and get Stewie now? Regardless i figure they’ll be attacking Bertram, but just wanted to see some other opinions.

Right now that is their main need is use on Bertram. So if you want as much Dark Matter to start building up as you can, I would unlock one as soon as possible.

My game is crashing every time I try to see how many cat food cans I have for Data. I’ve uninstalled, re-installed, restarted, etc. This started happening on Friday and is recreated every time without fail if the cans are clicked. I seem to be accumulating them based on the slider that appears in the upper right with the icon of Data when there is a drop.

Man, so even if I get all the wrinkle creams for Stewie, they’re still gonna drop until I craft him? I’ll never unlock Crusher at this rate (I only have 1 sunscreen for Stewie so far). I still need 18 hyposprays and I’ve only been averaging 1 for every 3 wrinkle creams I get from their shared drops. Bleh.

D Crystals just became crazy slow. I read on the post above that you get them from Bertram? I have defeated him several times, but I honestly can’t remember him dropping Crystals. I could be mistaken though. Always wonder why TC keeps on making changes on things that don’t need fixing. How do they expect players to obtain crystals now? A have almost all of chars (freemium and premium)/skins/ and building (freemium) that produce crystals and I barely make required crystals. And that is with me checking every 1-2 hours. I wonder how others who play less than me would manage. Premium crystal producers should just be an advantage, not a requirement. They better make some changes to this currency shortage. It would piss a lot of people who bought all premium chars to have and advantage on materials and then get jipped on rewards just because they lack the crystals.

Hi there, I’ve found what might be another glitch which I’m not sure has been mentioned here, but I’ve just unlocked Talosian Stewie, & there isn’t a task available to attack Borg Bertram even though he is shown as one of the characters who is able to battle Bertram in the info.
Do you know if some other task has to be completed first? He hasn’t triggered his own set of tasks yet like any of the other characters, so he’s pretty useless at the moment other than being able to earn XP & crystals. I’ve messaged TC in game, but realise I probably won’t get any response on a Sunday.

On Android I have the following glitch after latest Update: After assigning jobs abroad the Enterprise the jobs are not saved unless returning to Quahog before exiting the game. If I exit the game while on Enterprise the next time I start the game all characters that had job assignments on Enterprise wander Quahog without job.

I am having the same problem. Using iPad air I have not installed the latest update given the problems for iOS users (although I’m not sure it is a problem for me as I’m on 8.2 -haven’t installed the latest version of that either).
I get around the problem by closing the app between each shot. Tedious but a work around. It’s been a problem for the last couple of days now.

Not sure if it’s a glitch or not, but my Fuzzball room isn’t dropping tribbles like it did when first purchased. Used to drop lots (approx 10 or so) and since the last update it’s only dropping 1-2. Interested if you’re seeing the same. Thank you and take care.

They only ever dropped 5 since the Rooms release. They spawn right next to the room, so you gotta watch close. They tend to appear one on top of another, so it may seem not like a lot until they separate and start roaming the Enterprise.

I am seeking a clarification, and hopefully this is the right posting space for it! I have played all three of the Bertrams within the time frame, and I assumed that it was done until the next update when the last two will unlock. However, after I finished the third one, it started the timer again, so here is where i am confused. I am wondering if this is sort of a game where you can choose to play or not, but the only payout is dark matter and crystals, and it is not needed to progress to the next level?

You say bertram is a good source of dilithium cryatals but when I defeat bertrum only gives me dark matter, not crystals. am I missing something? Should I report it?

You almost miss it as the Crystals are covered and “hidden” most the time behind the Dark Matter. Same with the XP you get. Just watch your counts. See how much you have just prior to defeating him. Then just after. Minus 15 per Character you used.

Glitch?
My Romulan war birds were showing up just fine and I could shoot as many as I had energy for but today when I opened my game, I found that the large Petercraft is back and now I only get one war bird. Once I shoot it, I don’t get anymore and have to exit out of that area and wait a while (a few hrs?) before I can go in again to get, again, one war bird… Is anyone else seeing this? When I shoot the war bird I get a condom (which I still need) but now I can only do one and then have to wait… Sorry if you already addressed this but I did a search and read the comments and didn’t see anything on this…

Once fully into Warp Core 5 you shouldnt have any PeterCraft.

I contacted Tinyco for the sameish problem. iPhone 6 iOS 8.3. On warp core 5 double checked that I had no updates. Unlocked everyone except Data and the duplicator characters (Picard, stewie, kirk). However, when I bow up a Romulan Warbird no more will appear. I have to close the game and go back in for a new one to appear and repeat that pattern.

You shouldn’t have a PeterCraft on Warp Core 5. Try force close and restart device. Make sure it’s up to date.

They put the PeterCraft back in the game for planers on Warp Core 5 that nevertheless still need it for the quest line.

Ended up just buying clams, and spent 130 on unlocking crusher and quagmire. Problem solved… nowmI’m catching up! Didn’t want to spend money on this game, but I’ve spent $15 on this event so far… kinda worth it, I suppose. 🙂 Still have 128 clams to play around with.

iOS (iPad) updated to version 1.7.6. on the 17th. Until this morning (19th) I was able to shoot one warbird after another, now it’s just as everyone else is describing. Force closing and restart seems to let one warbird appear again, after that it’s just the big Peter craft and no warbird for probably a couple of hours. Luckily I only need one chip for data, so not that big of a problem for me.

I’m getting the same problem. I just updated to latest version 1.7.9 (I think, that’s what it says in Google play) and didn’t fix the problem. Only one warbird then no respawn, plus shielded Petercraft flying around. Drops microchip every time though. Warp core 5. HTC One M7.

Anti virus software and sunscreen haven’t dropped and I’ve been going nonstop. Trying to report it and defeating Bertram crashes my game. I also have some concerns about increasing amounts of crystals as the current Bertram drops are low to non existent.

It’s set up so when you stop needing it, the Material goes away. If it wasn’t like that, you’d still be getting drops doe Starfleet Peter long after they’re needed. A weird thing that I see in other games too. Hopefully they find a way around it, I don’t think it’s a simple fix.

The strange thing about Talosian Stewie’s dual personality was my bars weren’t even. It seemed one had more items required for it. If fact, I thought I was done with collecting wrinkle cream because the status bar was full for one and only after I went to task Deanna did I see she still had the task to collect more (I am still below max on any of the items). Well, now I check the replicator if I have a question with my numbers.

How about a bit of kindness and respect for someone writing a post from their cell phone with AUTOCORRECT mind of its own, while on a weekend, on their OWN time, when most others do NOT have to be at work, to make sure the details get out to readers that are struggling.
Instead of pointing out a spelling error… why don’t you look at the entirety of the post and appreciate the help it is providing thousands of readers running into an issue in their game right now? Just sayin. 😉
Kindness gets you a lot further in life than cruelty. 😉

That wasn’t cruelty, just a knee-jerk reaction to a 3rd grade grammatical error. Autocorrect has nothing to do with it by the way, you made the error all on your own.
I do, however, appreciate your coverage of the event thus far. It has otherwise been generally well-written.

I believe in grammar and language but today’s devices with voice typing and poorly written auto correct programs make us look silly at times. Just imagine all typed messages are voice to text, and content and timing are above form for sake of speed of disemination of information.

How many times have I had autocucumber correct my grammar for me? I seem to recall saying that TinyCo had a sense of ‘humorous’ because I have a Canadian iPhone.

Why is the “keep refreshing this post” line crossed out? Is the crashing fixed? Can I upgrade now?
My account is linked to both Fakebook and Google+ and has a passworded login. There’s (just) one comment mentioning a link to social networks. So what do I do? I’m always itching to update apps, but I need something positive before I do this one.

Is the Dilithium Crystal issue you’re speaking of have to do with the massive drop off of Tribble spawns? I counted 8 Tribbles spawned total today, 2 spawns of only 4 each time and when I pop them they produced no more than 5 other tribbles and most often only 3 or 4.

The game is progressing, so the aspect of earning will change. Tribbles were SUPPOSED to go away during the first Phase. The fact they’ve remained to help is pretty cool. For this Phase, Bertram is meant to be your biggest earner. Planet Missions will help too as most only have Crystal drops left.

Hey bunny I commented in another post about the missing costumes any I understand the reason but would this case the items for stewie not to drop or even show up I am almost certain this is an in game glitch in which I am attempting to contact tiny Co about I am creating cop joe so it explains them missing in replicator but not explaining why I can’t collect the items please help as this is setting Me back tremendously as a freemium player

If the character is in “Limbo” they essentially do not exist in the game. So the game does not see the need to drop the items. It will again when they return So watch it carefully. If you are on “create” for a Character (usually only 10 mins) wait to tap the check marks or Crystals to collect items til the Characters come back.

Another small glitch. Not a show stopper, just annoying. One of the great things about this game is when a task launches the “!” appears even if the character is on a task. However, if the character is on an Away Mission it hangs up. I have Peter on an Away Mission and the “!” keeps popping up and when trying to assign characters to tasks I have to cycle through Peter (and closing out the Transporter) with each character. Just annoying.

I don’t understand what you mean in the stuck on questlines section.

Players were jumped forward in the questline by TinyCo to help them get further into the next event. For instance they are on Road To Recover Part 4, but Part 10 auto completed. As Road to Recovery needed you to destroy some PeterCraft and the new set up is only a Warbird… player was “Stuck” on a questline.
In other words, you will know you are “stuck” if you are. All issues do not apply to all players. So if it does not apply to you, no worries. 😉

i still don´t get edo herbert. already sent about 20 away teams there in different combinations, but his chance is always “low” with not even half a colored bar. is he only obtainable with premium characters in the away team? only got q.

He is Rare. So he will be work to get. Many had to go 30+ times with a solo Character to achieve him. Not a glitch… just a rare item. 🙂

thanks! i wasn´t sure if he only drops for a unique combination of away team members i might have missed, or if i could just keep sending one to try to grind him. in your description how you got him it sounded like you got him with the first try and subsequent tries with the same away team gave nothing.

I did. With Deanna Solo…her first trip. Another game took longer… but again, solo, Klingon Chris. Just go to the post on the Planet Cespoolus and you will see all the mixed tries from players that got him. 😉

Sunscreen drops are poor at best. Have had riker and Mort going nonstop since phase 5 hit, and have all anti wrinkle creams and grey dresses but have zero sunscreens. Anyone else having this issue? Glitch or bad luck?

Bad luck. I think it’s an 8 hr task phenomenon. The task time is just long enough to be annoying, but short enough to give the illusion that there should be more drops overall. I have one, but I also have Worf tasked to collect it as well (though his task is only 4 hr).

Anybody have him yet? I did take riker onto cat food duty for a day (3 sunscreen attempts passed up) but Mort has been running nonstop and still only have 3 of the 6 sunscreen.

Everyone knows Actors are all just superstar singers in the waiting. ;-P ;-P. I had the album of William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy that had him singing ‘Bilbo Baggins’. It’s on an old computer I have and I have just been to lazy to retrieve it off the harddrive.

iOS users, it you’ve still got the previous version of the game; I recommend downgrading the app if you’ve link your town linked via facebook, email, google etc. It fixed the crashing for me and once I was done with the tutorial, I got back to where I was before.
