Those two lil shadows in the Originals Group in FaceSpace have now beamed down to your Quahog and are awaiting your decision. Will YOU get Scotty and Khan!!
Typical TinyCo has snuck in a weekend “deal” to bring the option of two more Characters from Star Trek: The Original Series into our Quahog’s. So just what is the offer? This is a combination of Acquired Character and Clam Characters.
When you first jump into your game, Peter has a ! over his head to let you know something new is going on. Tapping on Peter triggers a dialog with him “Saving Scotty”, Khan, and Locutus. (So let Picard and Peter free for just a bit to see if they trigger it.) Once done, you see the offer…
In order to bring Scotty into your game, you will need to have unlocked Locutus from the Bridge and have him in your game. On top of that, you will need to purchase Spock for 265 Clams, then also pick up the New Character Khan for 265 Clams.
If you get all 3, then you will receive Scotty for FREE. 
The Free Scotty will be beamed into your Inventory. Just place him into your game to unlock him. (Notice my glitching Kirk too. I already got one in the game.)

Some benefit of this purchase is that you will complete “The Originals” set in FaceSpace and receive 50 Clams in return.

Now let’s take a peak at each of the New Characters…
Khan: 265 Clams. Comes fully tasked. Drops Dark Matter (Always), Dig a Grave 18hrs. 6 Tasks. Two Visual tasks. (No additional questline triggered yet.)
Scotty: Free with Completed Offer. Comes fully tasked. Drops Dark Matter (Dropped Always for me), Play with Model Enterprise 18hrs. 6 Tasks. Two Visual Tasks. (No additional questline triggered yet.)
Neither are voiced right now in my game, but will update if that changes.
UPDATE: Got sound back now! Here are some of their phrases. Remember, both of these amazing actors have passed on, so the clips were pulled from where they could get them…(Love hearing their accents.)
Khan:
“I of course…remember you”
“Let’s be friends”
“That’s better”
Scotty:
“The Warp Drives are a hopeless pile of junk”
“The Bridge Controls started going crazy”
“Don’t do it Captain”
Their questlines have now triggered too. More on that later but here are the names.

I have to admit that I’m a bit disappointed with Tiny Co. While I enjoy the game as a whole, I feel they charge entirely too much for these characters who don’t really contribute to much of anything once the event is over. Also, why is it that with hours upon hours of game play I will never be able to stockpile enough Dilithium crystals to free up Kirk. I know that I could purchase items that would drop crystals, but who has the kind if money blow on this stuff? Lord knows I’ve spent plenty on this game up to this point.
What are the chances of tiny co extending the Star Trek event another few days or a week?

I agree. They are charging too many clams vs. what the character ACTUALLY does. Kahn has an 18 HOUR task for 1 dark matter. At this late stage in the game, getting Kahn and Scottie with 18hr/I drk matter tasks was really a waste. They do not contribute enough in the allotted time. (and I swear one of my Kahn tasks DID NOT drop Drk matter). However, it IS great to see these characters in the game. Its fun. I just wish these two particular characters were apart of the transporter jobs re His/Heranus games. 🙂

I finally earned Captain Kirk a few hours ago and he has been stuck on my transporter pad ever since. When I click on his “box” it beeps and then my game shuts off and sends me back to my home screen. He’s not in my shopping cart menu and when I try to check my inventory it shuts off as well. Now it’s even shutting off when I try to go from my Enterprise back to Quahog. I’ve shut my phone off several times, I’ve force stopped my app and cleared my cache a couple times to no avail. There’s no update in the play store I’ve missed. I can still do everything else in the game but it all started as soon as I replicated Kirk. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Any ideas?

Hey guys just a general tip for getting dilithium crystals. Once you get the ability to travel to the borg cube when you have starfleet peter and lois, and vulcan quagmire (it works with just one or 2 characters as well but way less of a chance) send them there and you have a very high chance of getting 500 dilithium crystals i made like 4-5 grand in a single day. At the cost of one transporter energy and an hour in length; you even have a chance to win 5 clams, so what can you really lose except a transporter crystal and an hour of your time 🙂

Up to The Final Frontier pt 2, haven’t bought either Spock or Khan yet, and still working on Kirk. Do I need to purchase Spock to trigger the quest? Also completely shut down the app and phone and had Peter and Locutus roaming around…

Still no confirmation on this one, but I had Spock and Locutus in my game, so one of them may be the trigger to have one or both. Also… if you have TOO many questlines sitting in your task menu… you gotta make room for new ones by clearing some out .

When the quest triggered for me nobody was free (but wasnt on an indoor task) and it only triggered on the Enterprise when it did.

For the last 2 hours or so, I can launch the game and play Quahog no problem. But when tapping either the Enterprise icon, or the pad by the shuttlecraft, the game crashes on my Android phone. I’ve restarted my phone maybe 5 times (that usually fixes other issues).
Anyone else have this issue, or a fix?

I can’t get to the enterprise anymore after I bought khan. Please fix this issue as I have timed missions to do on the enterprise. Defeating the robot to collect stuff needed for final star trek character

I immediately got him. 265 clams for him and getting Scotty is a deal! I just hope I can get the necessary dilithiums to get Captain Kirk and Piccard in order to complete my event. I hope TinyCo makes the dilithiums drop faster and the tasks to get the Dark Matter shorter in order to accomplish everything. I have no complaints except the wish for the Dilithiums and Dark Matter to be more accessible.

Send 2-3 characters on the transporter/Borg ship task. A very large chance of 500 dilithium/ I hr task. And the characters who do it have no real main tasks, so they are usually free to transport. Even one character will pay out, just not as frequently. 🙂

Any reports of the game crashing on Android after the patch they pushed this morning? I noticed after they patched Scotty and Khan’s voices and quests that when I would go into the event area it would crash and I would load up a few more times and it would be fine got in at around 3 pm PST and every time I would hit the enterprise button it would crash. Uninstalled and reinstalled it again even cleaned up some space on my phone and it still does it. I have done everything in your troubleshooting post and still does it. I will message Tinyco to let them know and if you could also Bunny that would be fine.

I just replicated Kirk, well tried to. The materials are gone but did not receive Kirk. 😢

Did you go back to Quahog and check your Inventory? It’s where replicated items are sent.

Yes, I did. I have a glitched Scotty similiar to what you have pictured above for Kirk but no Capt. Kirk. Kirk is also missing from the replicator menu.

Is he in town anywhere on the sidewalks with a lock bubble over his head waiting to be tapped and put into play?

Unfortunately no. I looked high and low for him after it first happened and checked inventory. Restarted my game and checked again but no Kirk. Hopefully he’ll turn up somewhere before the event ends but if not it won’t be game killer for me. Still enjoyed the event. Thanks for the responses and I’ll be sure to update as soon as I spot him or hear from TC.

After spending $20 on this event, I feel weird to spend more to get Khan and Scotty. I guess I have a little time to figure out if it’s worth it to me!
But I do have a question. If I want to make a suggestion to TC, should I just contact support through the game or is there a better way to do it? I really want them to offer Energy-for-dilithium trade ins before the event is over. I doubt I’m going to use all the energy I’ve earned and I’m hard up for dilithium crystals.

Suggestions are best sent the same method too. Right from your game. It gets to their system right away. They may not reply, as those are reserved mostly for tech issues. But they do read them all.

Does anybody else can’t reach the enteprise since Khan and Scotty popped in the game? it was working fine during the entire event but after I got them the game crashes everytime I try to go to the enterprise (or open the inventory too).
Sent Tinyco a ingame message allready but wondering if there are more reports or its just me….only missing Kirk and can’t get Dark Matter withouth access to Bertram ;^;

Not sure if this is the right spot for this. But i spent some clams and got Captain Kirk form the replicator. When i try to release him from the box in Quahog i get an error “Config empty for id starTrekStyle in ShopCellStyle” Anyone else seeing this issue?

Look at the Inventory pic in this post. Look at my Kirk. I got him locked in my Inventory… but he is right now on my Enterprise doing tasks.

Anyone having issues with dark matter drops? Not getting great drops from characters and sometimes i do not get any drops from the borg battle…..ah! I need 100 more dark matter to get kirk before event ends…😓

Report it. Also check your counts… see if they are still adding but you are not seeing them.

Thanks I’ll contact them and I looked and nope no drops when the bertram battle finished. Trying restarting and re-installing the game…hopefully TinyCo can help before event ends.

I picked up Kahn instantly, I set an alarm and got up at 5am to collect and put my characters on attacking Bertram, and was really happy to see they’d been added, and as I already had Spock and Locutus I got Scotty straight away. I’ve loved this event, thanks Tiny Co. And they weren’t kidding when they said it was the biggest event they’ve done so far, with 13 new characters and 11 new outfits, it’s added a lot to my collection, I really hope we get Bertram as a last character, fingers crossed.

I. just. replicated. Kirk!, now back to grinding to also get Joe Pike before the end of the event. Having a blast with this event in particular!, thanks TinyCo for that, and to the Addicts for the superb coverage as always. Keep up the good work!

Both of these characters now have Questlines. Scotty starts with play bagpipes for 4 hours and Khan starts with an 18 hour dig a grave task. 🙂

I would love to get these two characters, but they are coming so late in the game. It’s less than a week before the event comes to a close. I already spent more money than I had planned on this game (to get Spock, Giunan, Q, and Worf) and I don’t know how much I’ll be playing after the Trek event concludes. I know Khan drops dark matter which I need for the event, but I’ve read it takes an 18 hour task for it. Not very helpful this late into the event. I’ll ponder more on it, but since starting to play this game when the Trek event began it’s been equally fun and frustrating. Frustrating because to advance in any significant way in it, you need to spend money at every turn.

This one was a nice surprise. Thought Tc would make it tougher but pleasantly surprised. Picked up Kahn immediately to get Scottie for free. I would support this game with cash because Tc does a lot to help players. I was stuck on the 4th bar of level 9 on the warp core and was pleasantly surprised when the rest of the bars filled out to take me past the upgrade to level 10. Thank you Tc for keeping the gameplay fresh.

Both Kahn and Scotty are voiced in my game. Scotty so far says;
“Don’t do it captain”
“The bridge controls started going crazy”
And something like “don’t give me too many bumps” (extremely quiet voice clip, hard to hear over the background music)
And Kahn says
“Let’s be friends”
“I need to deprive you of your life”
Everything Kahn says is super quiet/hard to hear.

I somehow lost 75 dark matter this morning. I contacted tinyco. Hopefully they sort out what happened to my precious Kirk materials. I had almost 100, woke up to find the number down to 26.

My theory is that in about 8 months, during the Best of ’15 event (I assume there will be this), Kirk will be an unlock able character for that, if you look back at the 2014 one, George, Weed, and King Butt were obviously the hardest characters to obtain. Yaaay, a year away! 😛

I’ve had a real issue during this event with quests not triggering. I find that if I just go between Qahog and the Enterprise a few times they eventually show up.

Not getting him, he’s too expensive and I get plenty of dark matter from borg bertram as it is
Speaking of which, I accidentally bought talosian stewie, do you think tinyco would refund me the crystals if I emailed them?
I really want picard since I grew up watching TNG but getting 8k before the event ends would be impossible at my rate of crystals, but with an extra 4k, I’d only need 2k more which is just over a day’s worth of crystals

I had to buy clams to get Khan. For this event I felt I needed to have every possible character. I’d still love to see a surprise DS9 or VOY character or deco before the event ends.

I got them but I am having trouble getting enough for Kirk, it’s very slow going. The planets don’t give up the large dilithium prizes easily and bertram has to be beaten often, which is going fine for far but with Joe needing 65 dark matter I think once I get it I will give it to him in the hopes he too can help out.

Mine had a 2-day timer, I was planning to part with clams for them anyways. Thank you for all your love and devotion to this game and site. I can just imagine how taxing this event was with all the negativity. Thanks to the both of you for hanging in there for us

For those who got Scotty… does anyone else after unlocking him have a locked item in storage with his name, even though he is walking in Quahog?
(If you put him in storage, the locked and the stored character look different).

Since about an hour there is just no menu anymore in my game. After loading I see Quahog, but the top and lower menu’s are all gone. Can’t see my coins/clams, buy things, access the enterprise etc. More people with this issue? Already tried force-closing the app, restarting my phone etc.

Found a fix now, apparently more people have this problem. The solution: Tap the landing shap in Quahog to travel to the Enterprise. This will restore the menu and fix the issue.

I thought we were gonna get until the end of the event but sure enough when I bought Khan a 2 day timer appeared and I’m 18 clams short of getting Spock 😦

How many dark matter do they drop? I got both but they’re still on their 16 hr task. It is a good deal but for the event if it’s just one dark matter every 16 hrs it’s not going to help much at all with only a few days left…
I still wish they had a Sulu skin for Takei and what about Uhura? 7 of 9 would’ve been cool too

Oh fizzle sticks! I can’t afford Kahn to get Scotty, and I love classic star trek, I even spent my saved clams on Spock. If I stood a cat in hells chance of getting Kirk, I would actually buy clams :-\
Quick question, the main quest lines system failure pt.6 and road to recovery pt.9 are both asking me to spend 1000 dilithium, should I do those now or keep saving for Picard? I only have 1800 odd saved at the moment. Is there any advantage to completing those quest lines before trying to unlock Picard? 🙂

The questlines basically unlock the steps in the game. If you are already to the point you got all you want to go for, then I wouldn’t worry. Take a look at the event page and the questlines to see what it is worth to you.

Overall I think this event was good all though I can’t get Khan or Scotty 😦 but still the event is great the only thing they could’ve add was a costume for George Takei for players who already have him.

If you get stewie…he may help you get Borg Bertram faster and MORE Crystals. (Look at the new payouts)

Is anyone else still unlocking Crusher, Data, and VulcanQ and not sure about getting Scotty for Khan? I’m debating about whether Scotty is worth the clams since it doesn’t appear I’ll be able to get to where I need more than a few dark matter for the lvl8 replicator item anyway. I’m battling Bertram to get the few that I will need.

Of course I bought them, but honestly the “offer” is a scam. No characters should cost 265 clams, but 180 clams for each of those 3 characters seems a more reasonable price.
It really don’t make any difference to me, I bought them all, and it was a lot cheaper than borg consuela, but considering all the problems during this event, it would be lovely that scotty for free and the others costing 180 clams each.
Besides that, loved my trekkie family 🙂

In my way of thinking, it is 265 clams for two characters – about 133 each. That’s really not all that expensive, in comparison. Sold!

Actually the ACB (Adjusted Cost Base) is 176.666 repeating since you had to buy Spock as well.
265 for Spock + 265 for Khan = 530 / 3 characters received = 176.666
But if you get Kirk, you bring the ACB down to 160 per character when you get the 50 clams, so pretty reasonable (50 / 3 = 16.666).

I think I’m gonna take a pass on this one, after forking out for Worf, Q, and Guinan, I’m done dumping clams in this event. Not a huge fan of TOS any who, so no loss there. I’ll probably get Kirk since he’s free as long as I get enough materials in time. Really wish I could have picked up the Klingon ship to completevthe set, but mystery boxes suck. I hate blowing clams on a chance at what you want or some completely useless phaser energy. Have over a hundred already so not in a big rush to buy 12 more for 100 clams…
