I’m curious what will happen to the Enterprise rooms we paid clams for. Will we lose them? In past events we would get to keep buildings we purchased for clams. Do you know if this will apply to Enterprise rooms?

WTD! I was battling the level five Bertram last night and had him down to two hits left with over four hours remaining. Great, I think, as I set four characters to attack him and go to bed. When I wake up it says his shield has recharged and it will cost 80 clams to continue. Are you kidding me!?! Forget Kirk and forget this game. I will not spend another penny.

Well you do have to click on your characters task when it is done before the timer is up. Cant just set them and sleep.

Not a wtd, but I just got a response from TinyCo stating they’ve not heard much about players wanting the event extended and that to the best of their knowledge players were progressing fine. I was told that if they received more responses to extend the time that they’d consider it but as this hasn’t happened yet. That there was no plan to do so because of it. Basically, if you want the event extended, let them know IN GAME. Love B&A and all the work they do for us but in the end, they aren’t TinyCo and can only do so much toward guaging player’s wants/desires. So again, let them know in game if you want the event extended. Good luck!

My complaint isn’t just that the dilithium has been so hard to come by. It’s that the buildings are worthless. They drop one or two crystals every few hours. Whoop de doo.
Special buildings in other events weren’t so worthless.
Ah, Khan and Scotty. I almost never pay for clams, but I felt this was worth it. This event clearly has had a decent amount of effort put into it: the Enterprise graphics are superb, the new audio is almost universally hilarious. So sure, that’s worth at least $10 to me.
But 265 clams for Khan and Scotty is not worth it to me. And after learning about their utterly worthless tasks, I’m sure if I’d bought them I’d be demanding my money back in exchange for having them removed from my game.
I’m in awe of this. One dark matter every 18 hours? Was that decision made by someone who didn’t even see the replicator costs? Was that decision made by someone who wasn’t aware of the event’s end date?
And by the way, 18 hours means the player is almost certainly going to be asleep when the task ends, maybe not the first couple times but soon after. So it’s effectively 24 hours.
Finally, the Bertram battles. Funny thing. When there were only three Bertram stages available, the characters had a pretty good chance of inflicting their maximum damage on him (meaning, Geordi and Chris hit Bertram for two points, Picard for three, etc.). Now that I’m battling the final stage for 50 dark matters, that’s been reversed: all of the characters are hitting Bertram for minimum damage, every single time.
Which means instead of four sessions of fighting, it takes five to beat Bertram and get those luscious dark matters and dilithiums. Which is, y’know, 20 hours. Which is fine for people who don’t have to sleep, I guess.

Playing the freemium really suck and hard when trying to get character skin and unlocking characters I’ve used a few clams here and there to complete the characters skin for a few just to help with dropping and collecting but these side quest keep getting in the way of it.
I also don’t understand why we need to many of certain item for some characters like Joe why does he need to much dark orb. I already have a hard time collecting that because only way for me to get it is to battle that Borg but I can never get pass stage 3 with only 2 characters battling while 2 other characters is still waiting for me to collect. I’m missing 1 Sunscreen to complete Stewie but for the last 2 days my 2 characters have not drop any. Too it off Captain Picard and the other character is half Complate only missing Dark orb which again hard to gain.
I understand and see that this is a big and long event but holy crap so much premium and money to spent if you want to Complate and move fast. Will Tiny Co. Some maybe a lot don’t have that kind to extra money floating around, I know it cost a lot of money to maintain, update and keep the game going but this event is too over the top. It just really suck and frustrating for us freemium players when we’re so limited and restrict. I don’t see why we can’t have more characters dropping more items even though some characters have been added recently but it’s not even enough to get us moving.

to those of you who have failed @ level 5 of the bertram battle, does it give you an option to extend for a day for clams? if so, how many? i screwed up on level 2, and it gave me an option to resume for 20 clams. just trying to see if this also rings true for level 5.

I believe it does as I failed at level 4 but it would have cost me 56 clams to resume at that level so I chose to start over.

No need to be mean about it. The PG has NOTHING to do with the TV show, it has to do with OUR site and OUR ability to allow access for all. If we put up the MA rating content from the show one of two things will happen… this site will be shut down for MA rating and NO ONE gets help or we are forced to make everyone have validated age access, log ins, tracking, etc to prove you are adult enough to be on a MA rated site.

Brutal for freemium players.. I dont even have the holodeck unlocked, and havent got crusher or vulvan quagmire. No premium characters, and even when playing frequently. I stopped buying after a deal with free clams when you buy coins just gave me coins for my 5 bucks. Got screwed.

They half-fixed that “buy clams get nothing” bug so when you go buy through the task you only see the qualifying options. You’ll still see all of them if you buy through the plus sign at the top and it won’t warn you.

I need 15k more for pile and kirk, and I play so often… It seems impossible but I’ll keep trying. Also Borg Bertram is not really helpfull with dilithium. And I keep getting 5 crystals from Borg Cube mission even though I send all 3 characters. Oh well.

Hi. Borg cube missions do pay. 40 tries in the past 3 days have yielded 12, 500 dilithium payouts and 7, 5 clam payout. So it’s been a near 50% odds for me for getting c land or a large dilithium payout. You just got to stick with it. Using Quagmire, Peter and Lois exclusively for the Borg cube mission repeatedly since the payout of dilithium is so good.

I am using all three but no luck, and I am running out of blue energy.

I’ve had more luck with Acapella XII, I’ve sent peter 3 times in the last 12 hours and he’s bought back 450/750 twice. I know it costs more orbs and takes 4 hours, but the payout for me has been better than going to the cube 4 times ☺

To make up for the crash time burning everyone’s Bertram battles, maybe Tinyco could extend the game by a day. Or, even better, lift the time restrictions on Bertram battles and let us earn all the orbs we can in the next five days without penalties. It’s sooooo disappointing to miss the 5-orb or 10-orb mark and then have to wait a whole day for Bertram to reset at ground zero.

I think the cool down period should be shortened, or there should be a way to reset him if you know you stand no chance at that level. I’m only 2 dark matter and 1600 crystals short of getting Picard, but I’m trying to beat Bertram level 4 with Chris, Stewie and Geordi – wish me luck 😕

1. The quality of the voice sound bites for Khan, Scotty and 50% of Spock are poor, imo.
2. How is the game more than a year old, they’ve made millions of dollars, and we still experience constant glitches, crashes and delays?
3. Ashamed of myself for filling out polls because I’ve contributed to the mastery of cornering of all of our wallets. With the pricing for both TinyCo and Apple iTunes being so greedily fine tuned, I can only blame myself for continuing to support it, even after extrapolating the data and seeing the future.
4. Borg Consuela being in the Mystery Box. Not really a WTD but, sad panda because I most likely won’t even get to attempt to get her. 😦

In regards to #1… sadly… they ALL are passed on now. So no way anyone can make them better. The first two Characters voice clips were pulled right from shows/movies… from the 60s… kind blah sound quality then. They can only put up what they were legally given. 😦

1) That’s all down to state(as in quality and how they were recorded/format) of the sources they are taking the sound from. The character samples you mention are all from very old sources, hence crappy sound.
2)It’s down to the nature of the game, lots of new stuff constantly being added, multiple versions of operating devices(Android more than IOS), and the online nature of the game.

4)Same as point 3, people pay for these Mystery boxes, so Tiny Co. know they can make money this way and will continue to put stuff like this in there, one guy said he spent over 1000 claims to get her, from a business stand point why would you not? Sad for us really.

While the iOS app is running smoother than ever, the Android counterpart is laggy as hell, and if you scroll too fast it crashes – feels like it’s running out of memory, as it’s laggier and I can crash it faster when zoomed out compared to when fully zoomed in (which is useless when you have an entire country crammed in your town). I’m not even sure anything can be done to the Android version short of upgrading Android to Lollipop (so if you can’t then you’re out of luck), which brings Ahead of Time compilation, and does away with Just in Time compilation, finally making use of the whole CPU for apps, without the JIT taking a slice. I can’t upgrade, but a friend who could reported lag completely disappearing from another game (Hearthstone).

Thanks, but I won’t be doing any of that, as I use my Android tablet as a backup when my iPad is charging 🙂 I just scroll really slowly, and take my time, and it doesn’t crash. Just saying it’s a WTD 🙂 But hey, that link might help others, so thanks.
My other WTD is on iOS: the Game Center achievements aren’t showing. They appear once in a blue moon, but they’re mostly missing from the relevant screen. I sent a message to TinyCo a while back, but all I got back from them was “the team is working on fixing all the bugs” (paraphrasing).

WTD! I will not have anywhere near enough crystals to unlock remaining characters. PLUS… characters needed for tasks are too busy battling Bertram.

Wow. The Clam Index is through the roof on this event. 1190 for all the premium characters, 1775 worth of Enterprise rooms, 1620 for the premium buildings, 125 for the extra Transporter Planets, and the dreadfully unpredictable cost of the Mystery Boxes. Are things really that desperate over there at TinyCo? My fingers are burning just thinking about it.
Now I am not some freemium-only crank, I did purchase all the characters. But that is where I draw the line. Without the other premiums, I am still sitting on 386 yellows, 90 greens, 72 blues, 65 oranges and over 10,000 dilithium crystals, plus I also managed to get all of the character skin items. Why would I pay for premium building to drop these when I am going to have plenty left over after buying all the craftables?
But most annoying are the Mystery Boxes – I call foul on putting the most irresistible items in there. The Gorn in Uranus, the Bird-of-Prey in Hisanus, and the Borg-Assimilated James Woods High skin in Heranus. I just know that I would end up dropping several hundred Clams before getting these 3 particular items – nice try, but I will pass. Furthermore, teasing the Borg Consuela skin on the Warpcore Upgrade screen and then putting her in the Mystery Box was a straight-up rotten thing to do.
So, what the deuce, TinyCo? You play nice for the first year, and then the money vacuum comes out? Games are supposed to be fun, and perhaps a bit challenging, but the greed has gone to warp factor 8 on this event and sucked the fun right out of it. Play nice or you may just find that no one wants to play in your sandbox anymore…

That’s because its the biggest event they’ve had and the longest. They’ve had the most premium stuff, but a hell of a lot more freemium crap than other events. Even in the comic-con event there were only like 5 freemium characters (I think) while this one has 7 and then like 12 skins. Whether or not the preemium crap is any more useful now than it has been in the past, is, well I’m not at liberty to say because I’ve only bought one premium character (freemiumly) and so I don’t have enough info to figure that out. But I was fine with Gene Simmons being next to useless after Christmas. That happens. This is a WTD post so I should just let you rant, but I guess…I didn’t.

That sounds a little serial killer~ish, and I completely agree. I allowed myself one shot at that box and all I got was the stupid plant game deco. I was so mad at myself afterwards. I’ll probably never pay for a box again for fear or getting all the useless stuff first.

You’re wants from the mystery things are hat same as mine! That’s the exact 3 I want. I did try for consuela and got the 2 stupid Peter ships. The 2 things I really had no desire to get. And I am not wasting any more clams on those mystery things. Sigh. I did want the Gorn, but Kirk has a task where he fight one so I can just send him on this task when I want to see a Gorn. The Bird of Prey was my sad moment. I will not waste 100 clams at a time to “maybe” get it. And there isn’t a single other item (clams aside) that I wanted in there either.
Mostly happy with this event but it is the first event where I will be ending it not getting the things I really wanted.

WTD with the drops for the AV software! Herbert didn’t drop a single one. I finally got so tired I paid clams to finish him up. The high requirements wouldn’t be so bad with better drop rates.

I’ve always said, drop should just be always and then just depend on the task times and number needed. So it then is up to the player’s commitment to the game how often they log in and reset the tasks etc. if you log in all day you will definitely finish and win the prizes, but if you log in only once a day, then you will only earn what you can collect given the time you put into it. And always one can spend clams to speed things up if so desired or if they lagged behind and are about to miss something. But this whole “chance” thing has sucked big time in this event.

Wtd been behind the entire event, and now won’t be able to complete it.. Lost 4-5 days since the tribbles disappeared from Quahog and took forever to get Riker. This made getting every character since taking longer than a week. Just got Data yesterday, but not looking good for 8k in crystals before the event ends for both Picard and Joe (definitely won’t get Kirk). (Have 4k now, short on dark matter for Joe). Still don’t have Herbert’s skin, final quest line hasn’t started, still behind due to a glitches late start.

Seven hours ago, perfect, no problem. Three hours ago that all changed. No access to the enterprise. No access to inventory. Game crashes whenever I try. On top of that if I attempt to use in game contact it causes a lock up I can do nothing about…

Two weeks in and over 40 times attempting to get SPF 1000, I still only have 4. I bought Khan thinking he and Scotty will help me grab Dark Matter, but 18 hour jobs? I feel like I just got fleeced for $10. Now I have Joe, Stewie, Data, & Piccard almost completed, needing 20k Dilithium and I only have 6k. I have almost 1.5 million in money I have collected, why not let us use that for something, maybe trade it for dilithium at a 2 or 3 x exchange rate?
I get that they have to make money or they game can’t go on, but this event seems to have been poorly run from the start with the dreadful drop rates and money grabs. I mean most characters cost 1000 clams if you don’t want to do the tasks, that’s over $40!
I lover the game and will continue tonplay but I feel like I have spent my last dime on it.

I am in the same boat as you. Two weeks of Riker and Mort constantly vying for sunscreen and now we have only five days left and STILL do not have Talosian Stewie because of one stubborn tube of sunscreen holding me back. Can kiss Kirk, Picard, Pike Joe, and the two extra Replicator buildings goodbye because I won’t be able to beat level three Bertram to get the orbs without Stewie in the fight. My only chance is to go after Data to win the completion clams. I knew this game was going to be a bust when so many characters cost clams instead of giving us a chance to earn them and then they go and put Consuela in with the mystery boxes. Might as well call them Misery boxes because every time I spend clams on one of those, I never get the good stuff that can help me out in the game. It’s always some lame decoration with no payout, so this time I vowed not to buy into that scheme. And why is Kool-Aid Man’s price so frakkin’ high? He was never that great of a character in the tv show. And yes, I agree– they should let us buy characters and stuff with our million coins instead of having to wait for more open land to buy.

WTD…I don’t believe I’m not going to finish this because of the drop rates! It’s like almost no one can get the items and if they do,it’s rare to none! I’m so frustrated with this event! This is the first time I feel defeated!!! 😦

I am playing this event with the same attitude as all other events…..when it first starts, it’s exciting. After a few days of slow drop rates, I start to panic. As the phases come up, I just know I will not be able to complete all the freemium stuff but Lo and Behold I always end up getting everything by the end of the event. I have always told myself that if I cannot complete an event then I am done playing this game. Well, I looks like the time has finally come that I will be done with this game. I am nowhere near getting all the freemium stuff for this event! I will keep playing for the next 4 days but really have lost all hope.

My only “What the Deuce?!” moment was the hundreds of clams I poured into getting Borg Consuela. But I’m at peace with that, and am now loving the event as usual again. Only lack Pike Joe now, and hopefully it’s all a downhill slide from there. Saving my Dilithium before making everything in the replicator, though. Never know when they might throw a freemium mystery box in at the last minute like they sometimes do.

Lovely. For about six hours now, anytime I try to go to the enterprise, crash. Not a chance, 100% crash. Restart the phone, doesn’t matter. Clear cache, nothing. Deleted the data, and re-connected the accounts is the only thing that worked- but not the time a few hours after that, (back to crashing out 100%).

WTFD? Seriously, no Takei in this whole shebang??? I just don’t get it. makes no sense at all. I’ve been holding out thinking he might be a late arrival, but am I the only one that thinks its like the giant elephant in the room to have a month + long Star Trek event and not have Suli init, and the fact that Takei is already IN the game and not part of this…what a travesty. I…just…don’t…get…it. Somebody please explain this to me…

He did help get some items for people who were behind collecting. However, if you were past that point, you wouldn’t have seen that. Another factor may have been a license problem either with Paramount or George himself.

I can’t get on my freaking Enterprise! Every time I click on it the game shuts down. WTF! I’m on the top Bertram and this is going to sink my streak for Kirk. What do I do? Full on panic. I tried rebooting my phone and then tried an uninstall, reinstall and nothing changed! Help help help

Panic subsided. Stubborn reloading fixed it and now my Enterprise has a floor for the first time in three weeks. I just hope the lost time doesn’t bite me.

What the Duece, since the last update I can no longer get to the Enterprise. Every single attempt results in a crash. I have been sending crash logs to TinyCo, hope they can fix it.

Now going on five hours on constant crashes with no updates or even acknowledgement on the part of TinyCo on their facebook page. Having been one of many of you (Bunny and Alissa included) that have spend hundreds of dollars on this game (and more during this event), I am finally beginning to lose confidence in TinyCo. I also feel that this event, more than any other, has become focused more on the microtransactions than previous ones. I understand Paramount probably costs a fortune in royalties, but this was the first event where I felt that the purchases were excessive.

So my phone tells me that its time to collect on Khan and Scotty (sent both on dark matter 18 hour task last night). Hit enterprise to go there…get kicked out of game. Tried many times after to the same result. Go to neighbor towns…get kicked out of game. Uninstall..reinstall numerous times..no help . Try putting stuff into storage figuring I have too much stuff…get kicked out of game. Been doing all of this because my final Bertrem worth 50 only had a few hours left with only a single bar left to defeat him..so instead of maybe having enough dark matter to get Kirk tomorrow. .whenever it resets it will probably take 4 days starting back at zero with Bertrem to get enough Dark Matter to get Kirk…

WTD! I’m running low on blue stuff because every time I send Peter to born mission I get the 500 dilithium. Didn’t think I needed to keep stocking the stuff. Such is life. Also WTD with all the rain this past month here in the south. I didn’t move back from the Pacific Northwest to have the same weather follow me.

I have a Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy tab and every time u try to go to the ship I get kicked out. Wouldn’t complain but am trying to keep cannon guy and don’t wanna lose it. Also no matter how hard I try I can’t get Herbert. Live all ur games and have been playing along time. This is my 1st reply, so please help….

With regards to my previous comment, I guess the best thing to do is wait. That way, if I don’t need clams, I won’t have wasted them. I will wait and see, if I then need to spend them I can, and hopefully minimise the cost both from needing to speed up less, and when they have less time left and so are cheaper.

WTD I’m sending my people on quest to get stuff for the normal game and I can’t even get one bag of oranges from 3 shoppers 😒 and I already tried twice.
The Star Trek event was fun but a little too much work. How am I supposed to get 15000, 8000, 4000, 4000 dillithiums 😐…I want Kirk Picard and Joe but I think I will have to choose Picard and Joe or Kirk …sucks 😒 WTD

Here’s mine, it seems there was a lot of could have been goods in this one, cumberbatch has a voiceover says something about being khan so he could have had a silly quest, takai is already here but no mission or skin, Scotty over bones? And The drop rates are insane
I have spent so much on this game I’m probably single handley keeping somebody at tinycos lights on
So please issue a a completed event, Borg Consuela over bones or a romulan or dax or odo or another main character is just like your not even trying
