UPDATE 4/28, 1AM: TinyCo has released the patch and it has been running now for bout an hour. Please make sure you force close the app. Restart your device if needed. Let us know if you still have issue getting to Enterprise or using the Inventory.
UPDATE 4/27 330PM: TinyCo has found the cause of Enterprise and Inventory Crash. Fix should be out VERY soon. Once in place, a Force Close and/or Restart of device should help to put it into effect.
UPDATE 4/27: They should be getting into the offices soon. When I get any updates on the progress, I will let you know. In the meantime just do what you can until this is resolved.(They were working on it all weekend.) I let them know many of you are wanting an extenstion, but feel free to pass it on too within your game or email. As always, your feedback is helpful. Just remember, kindness goes a long way. 😉
UPDATE: Working further with TinyCo to help get this pinpointed, so please help on your end by sending in details of what YOU are experiencing with the Enterprise crash. Right now, this is what they are looking for….
So try an Uninstall/Reinstall ONLY if your game is saved to an email or Facebook that you can reload the saved file from. If not saved, save it! It really needs to be linked no matter what so you do not lose all the time you put in your game if something like your phone lost or stolen happens or you get a new one too.
So far this looks to be Android, but we want to confirm… any iOS having issue of Enterprise not accessible?

This is what I get for attempting to take a few hours off. The game gets all cranky and decides to throw a tantrum and shut down. Pssssh. 😛
But seriously, I actually had a melt down with my phone and have been trying to get it fixed, then replaced. I was aware of the issues, just no way to get online to help report back. Sorry.
Short story long, I have been sending reports to TinyCo of all the things I was seeing you state you are experiencing. Continue to message it all in to them please. Use your game menu if you can get in, if not… email help@tinyco.com and send as MUCH info as possible. Device, Version, Player ID if you have it, Screenshot of the start screen if you do not, tell them what it is you are seeing and how long ago it started.
The main issue I am seeing right now is the menu disappearing and you can’t get to the Enteprise. The best option I can offer for this is use the shortcut. The Shuttle that Riker came in on. Remember a quick tap on it takes you to the Enterprise.
For some the basics may help. Force close the device and restart it. Otherwise, hang in there while they investigate the main cause.
On a side note, see if eliminating some memory drain will help. The run down can be found HERE for crashing and lagging issues.
Basically, free up some space on your device AND in your game.
Device: Kill all extra apps running. Make sure only this one is running on your device. Make sure there is a steady stable WiFi supporting it. Give this app wiggle room on the device main internal storage. At least 2-3GB.
Game: Put stuff away. It pushes your game to the limits to force it to be able to pull up all those pixels. The more “stuff” in there, the longer it will take and the more it will drain on the game. So tuck some “stuff” not in use in Inventory.
See if any of these suggestions will help with the stability of your game in the mean time. Otherwise hang in there. They are trying to narrow just what is the culprit causing this issue.

Has anyone else experienced this glitch, with Jean-Luc? I recieved him and got the clamtastick popup, went and created him, and he is listed in my characters/owned outfits; however when you click on Use Now. nothing happens. I’m unable to use him as a character. I both swiped away the Family Guy game and restarted my phone but it did not fix the issue.
Is there a fix on the way for this?

Did you go directly to Locutus instead and put the Costume on him that way? Was Locutus busy when you were trying to put the Costume on?

Mine is good now. Although I had to uninstall and reinstall it again because the advice they told me to do wasn’t working. But it’s all good now. Tinyco said on facebook that they would announce at the end of the day today how they were going to compensate players to get them caught up and for those affected by the Enterprise bug.

Game is working now. I need around 140 Dark Matter for Kirk and am on level 2 Bertram battle. My guestimate is either Thursday night or Friday morning I will have enough..problem is the event will obviously be over by then. Enjoyed the event but because of glitch will miss out on most storylines this final week utilyzing all my characters in these battles in hopes of getting Kirk. Glitch aside I wonder if this event may of been too challenging if I had bought every premium character and a few clam items and it would of been a coin toss finishing anyway. Although not happy I will get over the glitch putting me in this situation (yes it looks like the fact that I paid real money for Scotty and Khan is part of the reason this glitch hit me). Still actually more upset that I bought 20$ of clams To buy Worf just to have a 10$ deal pop up a minute after I bought him that would of given me 3k crystals and getting a response back from tinyco saying they couldn’t award me the crystals for something I bought previously (it literally was a 2 minute difference. ..grrrr)

Quick note to let you know that the patch worked and I’m back on the Enterprise!! I received responses from 2 separate support messages that I sent to Tiny Co. Both told me all would be AOK and that the patch was in place.
FYI – Initially when I started my Android Galaxy Samsung 4.2.2 I was still crashing when pressing the Enterprise button. Once I did an uninstall and reinstall – it began working normally.
Now, ALL IS WELL! As we speak, I am sitting at 10,400 dillithium and 110 dark matter with only Kirk to go for completion of unlockables.
A million THANK YOU’s BUNNY for your assistance and assurances that patience is a virtue. Glitches are very frustrating. I would have given up this game and TSTO a long time ago if not for you and this site! Actually, I’m not quite sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing?? Ha! This ADDICT is BACK! Patch has fixed nothing. Still crashes. Rebooted, cleared cache, etc.
I’ll just play on Bluestacks and wait for this event to end. Unacceptable bug on their part and I’m normally very lenient towards TC.

Droid DNA. It has to be related to Android or something because I can play it fine on Bluestacks. They flipped a switch and now the app hates my phone.

It could be more a memory issue on your device than. Have you tried the other basic tips I offer to keep a device stable in high impact games like this one?
You can also message them if still issues. They are keeping an eye out.

I just reinstalled the app and still crashes. I’d be shocked if it was memory related considering it just magically happened at the same time as everyone else. This has to be a server-side issue, not a client.

Or maybe it was me…
Went to Bluestacks and put about 30 characters(I have all 80) and 10+ moving npc into storage and booted up the app on my phone and we’re a go. I guess the Enterprise plus Quahog was just suddenly too much for my phone. I’ll wait until this event ends to put my characters back out(and buy a new phone soon lol).

It’s a little after 1am here right now, my game now seems to be functioning normally on android. Had one crash when leaving Enterprise to go back to Quahog, after restarting the game again I could travel back & forth ok. 🙂

Patch is not effective…I was able to briefly get back into the game, but now right when I need to click betrum to FINALLY win the darkmatter and kirk I get locked out again….I’ve let them know in game, but gotten only two automated messages back…I hope they fix this soon, there is only a few days left!

I can’t even access my game 😦 I’ve tried unistalling, reinstalling force stop, clearing cache, resetting Samsung galaxy. But everytime im stuck on heranus mystery box peter craft storage picture if i click it it force stops, and i can’t access anything else with it on the screen. Heranus is very frustrating and is being exactly that. I’ve spent a lot of clams on this trebble quest and now i don’t think I’ll be able to complete it since I’ve been frozen for 3 days. What a waste of time and real money to not get progress or completion! I would appreciate a refund of my wasted money at the least, since this ends the 30th.

Feel free to follow the steps we offered. Outside that, if you have issue… you will need to take it up with TinyCo via your game or email them.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask… but, has anyone else “lost” Kirk? Replicated him and set him loose yesterday – today, gone. Facespace shows he’s “Currently Unavailable.” Pretty irritated as it was quite a time investment to acquire him. I’ve asked support but my questions to support always seem to go unanswered until a week after an answer would stop being useful.

I think I am done with the game at this point. I must point out I am not griping about the crash, stuff happens. I think I just realized my time should be better spent on other things then this game. Having 3 days of not being able to play made me realize the game is just not that important.
I actually spent today shopping for my little brother who is terminally ill. It was nice to not think about timers etc, I actually realized the game makes me feel selfish. I shouldn’t be wasting money on clams for stuff when I have more important things to concern myself with. It has been wonderful getting to know everyone in addicts. Bunny and Alissa are great people and really made me smile on days I was down. I hope for everyone else, the game gets back up and running and everyone gets to enjoy themselves 🙂 Just try to remember it is just a game, at some point it will end, just like anything else in this world, it is NOT worth stressing over.

Still not working for me… I removed and reinstalled the app and I was able to get to the Enterprise once. Put all my characters on their tasks and left the game. About 15 minutes later, I started the game and once again, I can no longer access the Enterprise.

ok this is getting frustrating…. I finally had all items needed for Capt Kirk, I replicated him, it told me to get him in Quahog, and now I cant becouse the game crashes every time I click on the pad…. Not cool!!! Time is running out for the event and this happens. I tried all the usual things, restart, re-install, clear cache and even 3 diff android devices. still the same results…. Not happy at all. 😦

Still crashing for me and I have tried everything. Unintelligent, hard restart. I got into the enterprise then shut down before I could do anything. Very frustrating seeing as the event ends in a few days and I have a ton of characters I’m working on 😦

Any update on the patch for Android? I’m losing hope lol.
For a while it started working last night and this morning, then kahn completed a mission and game has been crashing since I acknowledged it.
Have cleared mem, put a ton of stuff in inventory (back when i could access it), tried diff devices.
I am interested to know the juicy details of what caused the bug, like version mismatch in last patch or something, does tinyco have a page where they release these updates to the public? Often other business post status of their outages, bugs, known issues, etc. Haven’t seen much anything public from them.

Looks like I’m a bit late but I just started getting these crashes today on Android (4.1.2), everything worked fine yesterday, and the middle of the morning when I woke up to re-send characters to fight Bertram.
The only change to my game was purchasing Khan (and Scotty).
I first had an issue with an item on the replicator/transporter pad in Quahog, it showed an item despite me not replicating anything for days, tapping it made the game freeze and crash out, which then started happening when I tried to leave the Enterprise (getting there works fine, it’s the leaving that crashes), and when I try to open my inventory. All are repeatable.
Good news that TinyCo is on it.

I just started having a crash issue. I’m on iOS but haven’t done the latest FGQFS patch in the App Store. I have Joe/
Pike contemplating life, the task is complete with the check box on top. When I click the check, I see the pink crystles and XP display, the “Progress” box pops out of the left side bar, and then black screen, and back to my home page. I’ve cleared all my memory and the normal reset stuff. I’m sad. I’ve sent TinyCo a message in-app, just wondering if the latest patch will fix it or just cause more problems? Any thoughts?

People can change their names on Facebook. Especially if they’re using an alternate account. You add friends through Facebook, and all over online… so there can very easily be someone you just added from online and do not know on there.

Being I refuse to read the subject matter up top I wonder if they have fixed this yet. Tinyco should totally give me clams lol. Seriously it sucks but I get it but being I woulda had Kirk by last evening or this morning at the latest the only thing I would request for is him. This crash came at the worst time. Was on last Bertram for 50 darkmatter. When i finay got into the game 20 hrs later Bertram had started over . So much for that….sent Tinyco a message in game support….they asked the same things you have at the top of post. BUT NOW..When game loads it goes right to stewie screen for completing blimp quest with dialog with olivia.GUESS WHAT..when i tap to skip dialog or accept stuff for inventory it crashes to home screen. I cant even get to the support menu..or get to enterprise…..

I am on iOS 6.1.4, and for FOUR DAYS now, the game crashes during loading. It used to give me a Consuela text box, but unfortunately, I do not remember what she said, as she no longer does it, since I have deleted and reinstalled the game once a day since this problem began, as well as did a hard reset. The game works on my ipad, which has an older version of iOS 6. On day TWO, I submitted a trouble ticket to them through their website. One day THREE, I emailed them directly because I was lucky enough to get an in game FAQ screen when I tried to load the game again. It’s day FOUR, and I still have heard nothing from them, other than an auto response email from my second attempt at contact.

iOS is waiting on a patch…
Apple has had it a bit now, but hasn’t approved and pushed it yet.
As far as support… ALWAYS use your game first, then if you can’t email help@tinyco.com. Those go right to tech. If you get an autoresponse, regardless of issue, reply. This is there way of weeding out all those that no longer need help and may have flooded the tech message system with silly things, like questions the FAQ or sites like ours will answer. So reply to stay in the tech queue to let them know you still have an issue. Also… weekends there is not anyone really to respond to emails, so it is rare you will get a weekend response.
So they ARE responding, even though it is automated. Reply back and stay in queue, or if the link above answered your question… wait til the patch is approved by Apple.

If they are waiting on iOS… they can’t do anything to help you but tell you exactly what I did. They are waiting on Apple to approve and push the patch. Nothing more can be done on their end.
As far as time, are you including the weekend when no one is there?

Yes, I am including the weekend. The problem started Friday, but like with every single obnoxious bug this game has, I tend to just wait it out, assuming they’re working on it. When the problem still existed the next day, Saturday, I finally attempted to make contact. I did not know they have absolutely no one, not even an outsourced company to answer emails on the weekends until I read this blog Monday.
Thank goodness I haven’t spent the insane amount of money some of the people on here have. I would be super ticked off if I invested real dollars into a game I cannot play. I am also thankful that I at least can still continue to play on my ipad. Unlike my phone, I don’t carry it everywhere, so I can’t progress as fast as I normally would, but at least its something! But when you think about how there’s only 2 days left on the event, were it not for that ipad, everything would be wasted.
I saw your updated patch post, and mostly replied to mention that nothing’s changed for me (although I guess I am the only one with this specific problem, though nothing on my phone has changed.)

You did say you got an automated response, so you DID get a reply. I know it is not one you hoped for… but it is them keeping you in the tech queue.
No they are NOT outsourced, they are a small company… hence TinyCo. They are not a gaming monster giant that feeds worldwide with reps all over the world too. Just them in San Francisco. People are still there on the weekends but only those running tech support, just limited to that so customer service is rare to none on weekends.
Your issue is separate than the one in this post. So it is being handled differently. I get your are frustrated, many are. But at this point on iOS… it is all in Apple’s hands and has been a while now. All app markets have an approval process games have to go through in order for them to push updates through their markets.

Hi bunny, been having the same crash issue, I play using the app on my iPad. Issue seems to be when I tap to go to the enterprise the game freezes. I have tried deleting the app and re downloading but the same fault occurred. I’ve also had the app freeze when “casa di vining” house completed, and when human Rupert finished a task. Enterprise tasks included attacking Bertram (Picard, stewie, Geordie, Guinan, and Chris), had recently unlocked Kirk, and bought Khan, and got Scotty. Borg Consuela was clearing kittens. Annoying timing as I was close to getting Bertram, in a bid to get stuff for joe,s pike outfit before the Star Trek theme finishes, also in a race to get vinny, but lost 48hrs. Any chance of an extension to those affected? Cheers for coordinating the feedback to Tiny Co. Bunny – you must be equally as frustrated.

They are doing something about it. Patience. Technical troubleshooting is like a needle in a million haystacks. They got to find the trigger point. People messaging in all the details is helping them to narrow the cause.

STILL NO: Access to Enterprise or Inventory via my Android Samsung. Die Hard Addict here, approaching on 24 hours and going into withdrawal shock. All I need is Kirk. I needed 5000 more dark matter. $40 invested and the prospect for not completing is driving me nuts. No response from Support. If I make through the withdrawal stage, maybe I’ll finally kick this addiction once and for all. Wish me luck!

Remember it was the weekend. You will get no response on the weekend. No one is there to reply to you. Only tech crew, no customer service. Don’t worry though…they have been working on the issue at hand all weekend.

I’m on iOS (on a 6+) & for the past couple of days, my game has been freezing & locking up on the startup screen. I can kill the app, clear it from history and then restart it again, and then it loads and opens normally. Not a huge deal, just letting y’all know since you asked if anyone with iOS was having any issues.

I am having this issue on my Nexus 10 tablet. Whenever I attempt to access the Enterprise, the game closes out immediately. I have reinstalled the game multiple times… the first few times it did allow me back into the Enterprise for a short period of time but now it crashes immediately even after a reinstall. I am able to access the Enterprise from my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone, however, the game causes all kinds of issues with the Bluetooth, Wifi, and Mobile data connections when it is installed on the phone. I have T-Mobile with the Wi-Fi calling app which completely fails if I leave the game installed on the phone… Which is why I have been playing it on the tablet but now that doesn’t work either… very unhappy!!

Thanks for the tip, after two days of crashes I’m finally able to get to the Enterprise again. I thought it might have been related to the fact that the game hangs on exiting about 1/2 the time and I have to force-close it, since that happened the last time I played before the Enterprise crashes started, but I have the same weird bug with Scotty.

I play in my note edge. Granted i have like 0 space left on my phone but this hasnt been an issue till yesterday, lots and lots of crashing. I have no decorations and only buildings that earnmy money (and the brewery of course, please let us get rid of that!) I notice it usually crashes upon loading or when switching to or from the enterprise
