Star Trek has arrived in Quahog! And with this sixth phase you’ll battle a more powerful Bertram, defeat the Borg & try not to throw your phone across the room as you blow stuff up!
During Phase 6 several questlines will popup in order to help you understand the event ahead, and prepare our Tiny Quahogs for travel to the Enterprise! Working your way through these questlines will help you earn more Dilithium Crystals and XP to help you better move through the event, and buy Enterprise items!

Those side quests are not on the site live just yet. Technical issues took priority. If you look at the Main Phase 6 post though, a lot of it is within the comments.

I don’t suppose there has been any word on an event extension? There was just so much packed into this event that I really feel (despite all efforts and spending what few clams I could afford) that there was no way to finish everything. Not nearly enough dilithrium and problems with getting rewards from the away missions were probably the worst for me.

Hi Bunny! I have 80 phaser energy that by now are useless, you suggest to me to use them and shooting to Borg cube and convert them in dilithium (I still need 7000) or just save them for a possible sale of items by the replicator at the end of this event?

Up to you…and the fast moving asteroids seem to give better items in the Battles. At least for me. I always like to wait til last day to go through it all.

Did anyone else have any problems with receiving the 5 clams from the borg cube planet? I won the 5 clams 5 different times now, but I never received any of the clams. I sent an in game message for each time I didn’t receive them, but I haven’t had a response yet =(

If i have 1k dilithium anduse clams to unlock data will tmy dilithium be used or will i still have my 1k? Id like to save my dilithium for characters i cannot buy with clams.

The Clam cost takes into account ANY item you currently have. So if you have 1000 Dilithium, it will include it with the payout and take it

when i got Data i was shocked to see my dilithium total didn’t change. i was all excited thinking i was lucky or a glitch helped me…..then i remembered i paid his 4000 the day he was introduced in the game for this very reason, to kill two birds and avoid it being an issue when i was ready to get him. lol

Majority did. He is a Rare item so will take some time to acquire. Some as many as 20-30 times.

Any one else having problems getting Consuela’s skin? There seems to be a weird glitch where its stuck in a box that keeps taking your clams…I’m sure they will patch it soon…

Do not like. The recordings weren’t the best quality, but the accent on the new voice is all wrong. I’d rather have the original, personally.

I have completely abandoned the quests and are sticking with the Bertram battles and sending Chris, Peter and Lois to the Cube relentlessly every hour and setting a timer. Ive gotten 2000 dilithium and 15 clams just from today alone.

Here is a trick to reliably beating Cannon Borg Bertram as a freemium player.
Canno Bertram takes 40 damage to bring down. If you have unlocked all 4 freemium Bertram-fighters (Klingon Chris, Geordi, Picard, Talosian Stewie) you will do 8 damage per 4 hours on average. You have 5 ‘attacks’ per fight which means if you have average luck you will get him down. (if you require 8 hours+ of uninterrupted sleep, you are SoL)
You can, however, stack your odds a bit in your own favour on subsequent takedowns. During the last round where you (hopefully) will kill him, you tap the attackers one at the time, and unless they finish him, you immediately set them to fight Bertam again. The reason for doing this is that once Bertram dies, you cannot attack him until he pops up again after the 4 hour downtime, but characters that are already fighting him will stay in combat during the downtime period and therefore be ready to do damage the second he pops back up.
Ideally, you finish Bertram off with Chris or Geordi since they do the least damage, and the character that kills Bertram cannot be assigned to the fight until after the 4 hour downtime is over.
This method adds 5,5 average dmg to the fight leaving you enough damage to kill Bertram every time, even if you have really bad luck with the rolls.

Actually, it is possible to lose against Cannon Bertram with the four basic/freemium characters–even if you use the “carry-over technique” you suggested and do everything right–but it requires an inordinate amount of bad luck. The bare minimum all four non-Guinan fighters can do per battle is 6. Two each for Picard and Stewie, and one each for Chris and Geordi. Over the maximum of five standard battles, that gives you 30, and if you add the bare minimum you can get from a carry-over battle (assuming the ideal situation of finishing the previous one with Geordi or Chris), you get 35. That means that over the 23 individual tasks that covers, you only need 5 to be non-minimum to get the 40 points needed. Good odds, but still not guaranteed.
Assuming an equal chance of getting either value in a given fight task (I think it’s actually weighted a slight bit high), you should average finishing it on the fifth (non-carryover) battle, with the odds of finishing it on the fourth battle being slightly better than being unable to beat him (max 4th = 48 vs min 5th = 35).
Seeing as Guinan adds a minimum of 10 (12 if she carries over) and a maximum of 15 (or 18), she is a huge game changer, and well worth the expenditure of Clams if you’re willing to spend any on getting Kirk. She makes it impossible to lose (unless you really screw up) and opens the possibility of winning on the third (standard) battle, which is impossible (38 max) without her.

My average with chris geordy stewie and picard is more like 6.2, 6 most of the time and about 1 of the 5 times 7 damage

It takes about a day to defeat Cannon Bertram right? And he was introduced Thursday/Friday for some. You need to do it at least 4 times to have enough dark matter for Kirk and Joe. And that’s provided you get lucky with a nice run of character damage or go without sleep. I might achieve it Tuesday but then it’s simply not possible to complete this questline in the remaining 2 days as you can’t afford to have pulled characters away from Bertram?

Well safe 2 say for the 1st time I’m not gonna bother with the quests as Chris, geordi, picard and stewie r constantly battling bertram and Lois, Peter n quagmire r making use of my transporter energy tryna bring me back clams (I’ve got about 25-30 clams up to now this way)
But I’m a few mins away from taking that final 1 damage to kill level 5 bertram n get the final dark matter for kirk! the only clams I spent was on spock (who’s not really helped with characters/skins) and 3 clams 2 speed up a bertram battle
So I’ve done this the free way and will have kirk with 3 days 2 spare, obviously thanks 2 our ladies who I’m sick of thanking n complementing lol but u friggin deserve it so here I go again….. Thank u to the lovely Bunny n Alissa!!!!

I sent a message begging for an extension. I am still collecting the last 20-ish hyposprays for Crusher, need 20-ish condoms for V. Quagmire and some assorted stuff for Data. I bit the bullet and bought Q, Guinan, and Khan + Scotty, but now understand that only Q is going to be of any help since I’m not pursuing dark matter for Kirk et al. Maybe if I’d bought Q and Guinan when I could get Meg for free and bought my clams when I could get free dark matter I’d be in a better place. Lesson learned to pull the trigger sooner, I guess.

Good to know! Since I found out that she doesn’t help with completing a set for clams I felt a lot better too. I unlocked Data, Crusher, and Vulcan Quagmire today (with the help of just a few clams), finally got to phase 6, replicated what I wanted, and am now working out a game plan to try to get either Talosian Stewie or Picard. If I don’t get either of them finished then I’ll have crystals for any mystery box that might be available and will buy Human Rupert as a consolation prize.

I need a little advice. My brain is fried after work today lol. Ok so I have all the characters unlocked but am wondering which quest lines I should concentrate on that will pay out the MOST Dilithium? I’ve got so many open ones, I don’t know which ones to focus on. I’d like to have as many crystals as possible left over, to buy some double decos and lots and lots of foliage. Has anyone calculated which questlines payout the most Dilithium, including the premium character quests, if ya know?

Look for the ones with the shorter tasks, save 8+ hours for when you go to sleep and ignore the 24 hours altogether. I have Klingon Chris needed for two 24 hour tasks that I don’t have time to waste on.

Hey Bunny! I have really enjoyed the Star Trek event and will be sorry to see it go but, will be glad to know that the Star Trek crew (both new and old) will be permanent residents of Quahog once it ends. I hate to jump the gun but, just gotta know…do you have an idea of what the next event might be? I’m just having too much fun with this game and can’t put it down!! 🙂

HA! I was thinking Tinyco might be doing another ComicCon event. For some reason last night, thought about that episode of Family Guy where Neil Goldman was dressed up as Wolverine and Lois dressed up as Mystique. Would be good to see Tinyco incorporate those skins into the game.

I messaged TinyCo in-game to ask if they were considering extending the event, as I’m struggling to get everything done as a freemium player (I haven’t yet unlocked Picard, Kirk or Joe). This is the response I got:
“Thanks for the feedback! We really appreciate you taking the time to write in. At the moment, we do not have plans to extend the time for the Star Trek event. I’ll let the team know that you are interested, though!”
I think that as Bunny has been saying, the more of us that message them and request an extension, the more likely it is that they will grant us one. It only takes a minute to get your voice heard, and they really do listen! So please, if any of you are in the same boat, please get in touch with them! 🙂

I finally got Data & completed the Next Generation collection-yay! I know I’m definitely not going to be able to complete all the quest lines so I’ve stopped worrying about those. I can’t decide if I should spend clams on speeding up the Bertram battles to get Kirk or just buy Spock

Can I just say it’s irritating that the Borg Cube and Romulan WarBird now only give XP, no crystals? I think the graphics and design on this event have blown everything else out of the water, truly fantastic, but I feel like the premium characters and even some questlines weren’t very well thought out this time. I spent a ton of clams on premium characters this event but am still struggling to get enough crystals for Kirk. And Chris has a 24-hour task across several questlines, so I’m stuck with a billion things in my taskbar requiring him, Picard, or Geordi, but like others have said, I’ve needed Chris battling Bertram. For the first time since I started this game, I actually set alarms to get up in the night and reset the Bertram fighters. I guess this is our fault for all the complaints on things being too easy or having leftover event currency on prior events. 🙂
Total non-sequiter, but have you ladies already done a poll (or are you planning to do a poll) on everyone’s favorite premium character purchase so far? I was just thinking how much I still love Alien from thew Halloween event. Just watching him walk to his next task still fills me with delight!

Is anyone having issues boarding the enterprise again? I was the other day for about 16 hours then it was fixed but now it’s happening again for I’d have to guess about the past 13 hours… how are we suppose to accomplish anything when it keeps crashing?!

I only have a 3rd of the dilithium needed to get Kirk and only 3 days left of the quest, I haven’t unlocked Joe yet either (could easily justify buying him but then that leaves me with no dilithium at all) any help? No idea what to do and hate missing out on characters

Borg Bertram. Battle him and keep him at top level and defeat him as much as possible. If you have extra transporter energy… try the planet Borg Cube.

Random question, I want to unlock Data using clams however have over 4000 crystals the clam price is 26 atm if I pay the clams will I lose 4k crystals or is the 26 clams taking into account the crystals and the items still needed to get him. Btw there is a check mark on the crystal bubble which I have not pressed.

This event has been a Rollercoaster, but I’ve liked the concept. I haven’t really been able to enjoy it as much as I thought I would due to..well…we all know the issues. I would like to thanks you gals for all the info and time y’all put into helping us and giving us a place to vent. If it wasn’t for this site, I would’ve stopped playing LONG ago.

Oh yeah, another thing, does anyone else see Joe at James Woods High? I have been seeing him there, he is acting like he did before he was unlocked. It happened around the time Pike Joe was added, and my actual Joe still works. Also noticed Brian’s Prius sometimes shows up at the Griffin house.

Just wondering, I beat Cannon Bertram yesterday, and will have again in about 30 minutes. I will then get Kirk, and have all of the characters, buildings and skins. Should I continue to fight Bertram afterwards? I need to send Chris, Geordi and Stewie in tasks. I have no interest really in crafting more of the same items, but I will definitely lose out on the battle, as I won’t do enough damage in time with 2 unless I use a lot of clams. Should I continue to fight Bertram with all of them(I can’t see any items in the game that will require more Dark Matter), or allow the others to complete their tasks. I will probably complete their tasks, I was just wondering if you knee of anything that would happen, or had any advice, as your posts always give great suggestions for the best outcome. Thanks in advance!

OK, thanks for the input! I decided to do the tasks instead, I still have characters and rooms earning Dark Matter, with a little left. I noticed that Kirk gives 6,000 Starfleet XP when replicated! I’m not looking forward to the end of this event, I have loved it and really want to keep the Enterprise in some way.

I was really hoping we’d get a real Bertram as a character. It’s my one real disappointment of this event after he was mentioned in the update info. I’ll message them but I doubt it’ll be high on their priority list XD

Hello Addicts! I’ve unlocked Kirk but now each time I try to take him out of my inventory the game crashes. I’ve already tried restarting my cellphone but that doesn’t work. Is this a common error or should I contact TinyCo?

I am truly disappointed with this event. I bought all the characters as soon as they became available. It feels like it is far to difficult to get the main people on this questline. I play as much as possible and just finally unlocked Crusher because of the hypo spray. I have Talosian Stewie, Jean Luc, and am just about to Kirk, but I still can’t get Data because of the damn Anti Virus Software. This entire event feels uneven. I have so many of the yellows and blues but nothing to put them toward. Hell being able to trade them for dilithium would make l the difference.

I’m just wrapping things up now. I’m a few hours from defeating Bertram again. This will give me all the dark matter I need for Kirk and the last two replicator items. I’ve got 21k in dilithium crystals and all the other needed supplies. I passed on Khan and Scotty as I’d already spent my limit on clams. Same thing with Borg Consuela. (Plus I dislike putting a skin in a mystery box.) From here on out it’s simply trying to finish the quest lines.

Being 3 weeks behind I finally unlocked Taliosian Stewie and just late last night started focusing on Bertram. I still need 9 Anti-Viruses to unlock Data and 1500 Crystal, which shouldn’t be a problem. I have Vulcan Quagmire sitting ready to be made, but I want Data first.
There’s a slim chance I’ll be able to also get Joe Pike, but getting Catheders has been a challenge even though they are suppose to be uncommon, and 4000 Crystals. I might be able to do it with Chris, Geordie and Stewiegoing after Bertram. Guinan will jump in after I get the Clam reward for Data, but that’s just 3 days.

The Inventory bug is weird for me because it comes and goes. It disappeared again last night allowing me to place more Romulan Bars, but this morning its back. I didn’t turn off my tablet off last night thinking it was a loading problem only to see that’s not it.

Catheders are very easy… Send away team to the Borg cube. It’s the crystals killing me 😦

For the catheters, I had the best results sending teams to the Borg Cube. I think I only got 2 from drops on tasks in Quahog.

I wish they would extend the event just a few more days. I don’t have time to do these questlines AND beat Bertram enough to get the dark matter needed for the last few things, since the characters needed to stun him are also needed for the questlines!

Hi Ladies, for The Final Frontier Part 3, when you say ‘must completely defeat him 2 times’, do you mean that we need to defeat him twice at any level? The reason I ask is because I currently have him at level 5 and once I defeat him this time, I will have all the dark matter I need (unless something else crops up this week!) and I was planning on stopping battling Betram in order to free up characters to complete questlines. If I let Betram fall back down to level 1 and defeat him, would I still complete the task?

Yup Yup… twice… any level… to point he goes into cool down. Just wanted to make sure people didn’t think it was just a simple hit from one Character and done. 😉

Tinyco must know that we need the Bertram attackers constantly to have any chance if getting Kirk and Joe? I am having to spend clams speeding up attacks at the end of each day in order to get the dilithium. Also over the weekend I was getting 500 dilithium regularly from Borg cube missions, but today only once in 12… I need those even if I spend clams to beat bertram every day. Final Frontier actually costs you crystals rather than help earn them so I will leave it to avoid buying the replicator items.

Haha yeah I know… it is annoying not having any chance to do so though!
Have been really unlucky with bertram attacks today despite rushing some so my target is now to ignore the replicator buildings (I got Kirk) hence making no more story progress, and aiming to beat bertram today and tomorrow to get Joe. Will probably need to spend more clams maybe 25 per day. He really is a pain! Irony is there is probably no reason to get Joe anyway!

I’d just like to take a second to give a shout out to the FGA crew, and especially Bunny who is currently replying to everyone here. There’s a lot of frustration, confusion, and irritation going on, and you all show tremendous patience. Everyone here really appreciates it, and most of us know how difficult it must be. I know you run and maintain the site because you love it, I just hope you don’t stop loving it from all the craziness that the start and end of these big events bring. Keep up the amazing work guys.

I just got Data today. Still need Captain Picard to advance in the story line. Only have 500 dilithiam on hand, with only 3 days left I see it hard to get the 8000 I need. I’ve even been logging on more than usual to try to help. 😕

Try going to the Borge cube planet it gives 500 dilithium sometimes and even 5 clams it only takes 1 of the blue balls and and hour.

Me again as posted in prior blogs got back in the game Lil more then 2 weeks left of event. I play constantly and immediately spent clams to unlock q worf n quinan n now Spock….uncertain how much I will finish this event. Its been great fun but I’m so far behind. Im up to unlocking data n stewie n jean luv Picard got enuf items for all of them but I’ve only got 2000 dilithium. I constantly destroy bertrum n was sending meg to the planet til I ran out of blue balls. Those take so long to get. Will unlock stewie no later then tomorrow morning n that will help fight bertrum. Hope to get jean luc will buy khaan if I unlock kirk otherwise idc bout khaan. For the most part was unlocking a new character or skin every day or other day so for starting so late I think it quite fair unlike a lot of the other gamers keep complaining.

Is it just me or Bertram always stays at level 5 when you defeat him?

It is supposed to be that way. You Continue to keep him at the top level to get the best payouts of Dilithium and Dark Matter to get what you need in the game.

Am I alone? I’ll have unlock Kirk, got the xp, but when I go in my inventory to get him, my game crash. I have look at google play for an upgrade, found nothing. Is there nothing i can do to retreive Kirk from my inventory?

Is anyone on iOS now having trouble accessing the Enterprise? It was working before but now every time I try to access it via the menu or ship, it just freezes and I have to force quit in order to open the game again. Not sure if this is a similar problem to what the Android users were facing. Annoying because I’ll lose my progress on Cannon Betram over this!
