Many times Players make requests to TinyCo to return Characters/Costumes to our silly lil games so that you can get a 2nd Chance to put them in your game. Whether you just were not playing then, or the timing wasn’t right to make a purchase… some of those Characters have been returned into our silly lil games tonight.

DECORATIONS
The Overweight Joggers from January (Phineas & Barnaby) that seemed to make many of us giggle and wanted to stay in our towns (one game still has a few running), well they are back again. These are Premium Clam Purchases, so it is up to you to decide if it is worth it to YOU and will make YOU happy to put them into your game. (You can get more than one of each.)

I personally did pick up one of each, because I do like the Walking Decos like these and wanted them in my game permanently when I first saw them. I have Decorations from other Events that cost me MORE than these, but stay in one spot. So for me, I went for it. 🙂
QUESTLINES
So far I was able to confirm Fat Lois’ Questline, I’m Just Big-Boned, did trigger to Create her Outfit. No info just yet for Forklift Peter, but you can see their details on our Thanksgiving posts.
For those that already have these Costumes, just enjoy the calm for a bit. More seems to always be around the Corner. 😉

Family Guy Addicts 
Took me 2days to figure out why “always”drops from founding fathers were not happening! Turns out only drops with main skin on the building! This may GE routine but i had not seen it before! Thus i have all the uncommon and rare items but only a few of the “always” drops. Go figure!

When I started the game it presented me the fat lois quest and since I already had the costume I finished the first part. The second part was for her to taking a selfie, which I started. So when I logged in again to see if the mission was finished. The quest was gone, like it did not happen. The quest notepad at the bottom left corner is empty as well.

I started the game again and it looks like I have to repeat the previous tasks. So hopefully it will work this time.

The top of this post says they will be here for 1 week but in the Help & Support section of the game the event is called “Fat Weekend” and says it ends Monday July 20th at 3pm PST. Which is it?

Bunny, FYI, it is stated at the top of this post, that Fat Lois and Peter will be here for “one week”, but on the FAQ page in game, it calls this mini event “fat weekend” and states it ends Monday, the 20th, at 3p (Pacific) *smile*
I also assumed the game would last until next thursday, and happened to see the “Fat Weekend” link as I was heading toward the conversation page. Takes some of the relaxation out of getting Lois! *chuckle*

Three mystery boxes just dropped. The middle one for me costs 1000 coins. It said clams at first but when I went to look what was in the box it said 1000 coins. So you know I had to but them all. No such luck with the other two.

First of all it is good to finally be able to get back into the game and to see that tiny co is providing another second chance event. Do you think it would be too much for me to hope that they will also offer a second chance at costumes, etc. for those of us who were locked out of the final week of the mobsters event as well as the entire Magic Mike event?

It will take a while no matter when you start it. So right now may be good, just know you may have to put it aside again if something else Event hits. If a District hits… you can just keep focusing on it.

Love that they’re bringing back old costumes. I started playing when they had the piñatas so I’ve missed a lot of stuff.
Bunny I know I asked your opinion a few weeks ago about starting the brewery district and was so glad I took your advice. That being said it seems slow now, do you think this might be a good time or is there another big event coming? I know you’re not Tiny co but you always seem to have great advice and info. Thanks in advance for whatever opinion you give 😃

Its awesome that they brought the costumes back, I just wish Lois was for clams and peter was to collect for as I got her last time lol. But that’s fine, I need a little break anyway. 🙂

Any idea if we think the next event will need forklift Peter? I don’t really have any desire to buy him, but if he is going to be helpful later then I might. 🙂

premium characters/skins are never needed to progress in an event, and premium characters/skins rarely transfer over from past events, even if they have tasks that match the event theme

Are you sure you actually posted? On my phone, I have to be careful to watch for the progress bar (it doesn’t always “go” when I submit) and then double-check that it’s actually posted. It should say something about waiting for moderation at the top. So you might have a similar problem. Also don’t expect fast responses- the Chief Addicts have jobs and like to eat and sleep occasionally…. 🙂 So it depends on when you post whether they will see it promptly or not, and others won’t see it until it’s gone through moderation.

I saw at least one other post. You were asking about iPhone crash. I saw on one of these pages that the iOS patch is in the works. I know it is frustrating to not be able to play. I was locked out from July 2nd. I just got back in a couple days ago.

I started making Falconer Peter and now Fat Lois has disappeared from Al’s and all her materials have disappeared from tasks… This suddenly reminds me of the Star Trek event…

You can only create one skin at a time, once Falconer Peter is done Fat Lois will be back.

My options for Fat Lois and Forklift Peter disappeared as well. I currently have Long John Peter being made at Al’s which takes 12 hours. Are you telling me I have to wait 12 hours to even COLLECT any items towards Fat Lois? If so, that’s lame.

Only ONE Character can be created in Al’s at a time. Due to this, a fail safe was put in place last July to prevent any other Costumes from being created at the same time too. The reason being it cause the Player to get locked out of their game if more than one tried to Create at Al’s at once.
Check your Character Tasks and the Shopping Cart Menu to see if she is still listed there and her Materials still listed on Character Drops. It usually only impacts Al’s.

They’re both not in the shopping cart menu. Only the 2 overweight joggers are. And the ability to earn items from character tasks and buildings are also missing. I know something’s not right because I can still send Joe on tasks to collect items towards Cop Joe and Goth Chris. I’ve contacted Tiny Co. to look into it.

Well now that Long John Peter has been unlocked, Fat Lois and Forklift Peter are back in my game as well as task and building earnings towards Lois. Never did hear from Tiny Co. today.

Last week I was collecting for chumba wumba stewie, at the same time as stripper peter and stripper jerome. Chumba wumba stewie didn’t stop me from collecting from the mob event either. Do you mean just the “create now” after you have collected?

Collecting is one thing. This is the actual all done collection and tapped on “create” to pull the costume in the game.

I contacted support… Still no sign of the materials available on tasks. It’s been a while since I looked through Al’s available skins while it was creating something so not seeing Fat Lois bothered me. But the functional problem has really been that I can’t collect materials from tasks.

They have been notified of the concerns. It is very common with any costume in the game that once you start the “CREATE” it will make all others lock out. Hopefully they can adjust this one so it won’t interfere with Material Collection for that long of a period of time. (Normally they only take 10 mins so it doesn’t impact play).

Is this considered an off week for us if we have everything? Just curious. I’ll keep leveling up Star Trek originals, the valentines Cupid takes forever, and The Don characters are low level, so not really an off week, but nothing new would be what they’re thinking?

I’m looking forward to these. I saw them in January during the Fitness Event with Phineas and Barnaby. I wasn’t able to unlock them then, I had just started playing. I thought I had begun in February, but must have been January, I was actually able to get Phineas and Barnaby but not Fat Lois or Forklift Peter.

Those who don’t have Fat Lois, you should go for it. When she first showed, you needed to collect 100 total items, including 20 rare and five extra rare items. This time it’s only 48 items with mostly always and uncommon items. This is a steal! Plus her questline can be done in less than a day — all short tasks. Great time waster that should be easy while we wait for what’s next!

I LOVE this Tiny Co! Please continue to do more mini events like this. It’s very helpful for new players or even those old players who weren’t able to complete a character/skin in the amount of time originally provided. I know I’m missing a lot and that’s not good for my OCD 😜. Thank you!

Already have them so going to enjoy a little quiet time in the game and nuke and redesign. Hopefully the down time will also let TinyCo concentrate all their efforts on getting the last of our Android friends back in their games. I would have offered to log in locked out users on my IOS devices were it not for fact they would have to divulge their passwords to me. But thanks for the break TinyCo, I think us regular players have earned it.

Excellent – I missed out on Fortlift Peter and 125 clams isn’t bad. Of course who am I kidding – I would get it anyway 😃. Here’s hoping they will do this agin…there are a couple of items I missed from past events that I would love to have.

TinyCo should has switched it and had Lois cost Clams and Forklift Peter be unlocked by items. Since I already have Lois I have nothing to do for a week and I’m saving my Clams to re-get Rupert, so buying FLP is out.

Already had Forklift Peter and Fat Lois from the orig event. I am definitely going to get the female jogger though. I really wanted her when I first saw her. Cute the way her pony tails swings when she jogs. The animations just made me smile. Glad they are back 🙂

I kind of hope this is it for this week. Since I already own Fat Lois and Forklift Peter this would be a much needed break for me but since this is Tinyco and there hasn’t been a break since I started playing about a year ago, I’m not looking away for a second.

Not interested really, lois and peter have a ton of outfits and all characters except bruce have tasks i like (in terms of length). so just on the lookout for an outfit for bruce and only bothering unlocking new characters and not skins, as i need more money generating characters, not new skins I’ll never use.

I already have Cleveland Jr and Diabeto, so I think I will pass on the fat joggers and spending money on Forklift Peter, there are only so many people in my town, and it is already right up there with the national obesity levels!
I am thinking there has got to be a lot more to this event than creating fat lois?? So far I am not seeing any decos or buildings. I guess I should just wait until they drop a bunch of new content tomorrow! *chuckle*
