Just a quick bounce by to remind you that later today Phase 3 will be hitting our games.
Approximately around/after 3PM Pacific Time is when it is assumed to launch.
As a new Musician will be hitting the game, the Concert Stage will be taken over again. That is why you see the pop ups about Encores Ending. So get in what you can while you can. 😉
There is an Update in Google Play (1.11.2) with bug patches and Phase 3 prep, iOS out soon if not out already. You can still play though without it per TinyCo, but you will want to eventually update from the App Markets.
Watch the timers on your Festival Merch Kiosk Character Costumes for those that triggered them. Remember each one only has 7 days once you start those timers. (See image at bottom.)
I assume that you will need to have Festival Fail Questline complete as it is the Main one for Phase 2.
Otherwise, can’t wait to see what Phase 3 brings into our silly lil games. I will try to get all the details as fast as I can while I am out n about tonight. Who knows, we may even see Alissa bouncing around to help. Lol. 😉

FYI… for those panicking at the following Pop Up… it is OK. This is just TinyCo’s way of listening to YOU say you want more warnings on timed Characters. Many Players triggered Rapper Brian’s timer the day Phase 2 Launched so for them, the timer is about out. Think of this as more just a heads up “You have a timed Character, don’t let them run out“. Go off of how much time YOU have left in the Festival Merch Kiosk. If it says 4 days still, then you still have 4 days. 😉

TinyCo said that they took our mafia event feedback into account, so I guess that means they brought back the goon queue and leaderboard out of spite.
Oh, and the person in first place on my leaderboard already has 73 whammies. I’m next with 4, and I’ve already stopped caring about this.

They did. That is why the Leaderboard is limited and timed. The “goons” are better structured in that you do not need them for EVERYTHING in the Event like Mobsters. So… lost of good changes.
And why worry about the Leaderboard? Thousands of other places to earn free stuff. It is just like the Premiums… optional and only if YOU want to participate. 😉

everything completed for my second encore, i went in the game, it crashed, i bought it back up and bam, the 3rd phased has hit, Alice cooper is on stage, and i cannot get the 2 tickets i need to get Rapper Brain. Im just commenting this as feedback to you girls who are ever so helpful in this silly game of ours, and tinyco so that if we ever get another event like this, maybe they wouldnt block the “stage” when it is essential to completing a timed character. Also, i want to give a big thank you to Bunny and Alissa, you guys have helped me and thousand(s) of others in this game. Ive been around since October, you girls work hard so thank you!!!

Just writing to say to those who haven’t realised yet but phase 3 has hit with a lister cooper and a mystery box and a chance to get some awsome prizes in a mystery box plus there is a new character skin for Peter but you must be no.1 out of 30 (that’s what it says on mine) to earn. This is starlight express Peter and is only available to the person in first place. There is not 1 not 2 but 3 new characters to this phase and only one is premium however it is in the mystery box. Also in the box is a new neon animal however I won’t spoil it and tell you who is now in the game and what the new animal is but I will tell you a lister cooper will be hard to get.
Also bunny can you please ask tiny Co to make one of the neon animals (a good animal)(or a new animal) free mum as so far all neon animals are all premium.

I got a bunch for doing the Joe Lion Concert last night. I was way behind, and those things dropped for me. I guess in this case it payed to be behind.

So. . .if I haven’t not finished Joe Lion yet, does that mean I need to rush and finish him? Or, should I just chill and wait until it happens? I have two oils to go and don’t know if that will stop my progress.

Just loaded in the new content, and it looks like the new “ranger” to recruit besides the beekeepers can ONLY be recruited by spending a material which drops from a premium building. Hopefully that changes, as it seems kinda like a rub to those players who spend less clams. That, and a new building which has one of those Scandinavian characters attached, but costs 4,000 glowsticks (which I doubt anyone who didn’t purchase those neon statues can afford at the moment).
Oh, and a new sidequest that asks you to “catch the greased-up deaf guy” 15 times (remember, 12-hour respawn time) is now in the game, and a new leaderboard which at this point I can’t figure out how to earn the ‘points’ needed to climb it; may center around those new rangers, which again can currently only be used via the premium building.

I can’t access my game anymore. I keep getting redirected to log in through Facebook in order to play. Have I missed news of a change to the game? I no longer have Facebook and I don’t think this game is enough for me to reconsider my decision to close the account. I’ve invested so much money in is game and I’d hate for that to all go to waste.

Don’t click on that big guitar merch kiosk thing on the right of the stage area. Don’t follow the GO buttons in the event central (accessed via the little guitar in the bottom right of the screen). Pray you don’t hit something by mistake. If you do trigger it anyway, take a few deep calming breaths in and out, in and out, breathe slowly with the abdomen moving forward and back rather than the chest moving up and down, there you go – feel better now? The odds are high that you can still get the timed thing after all. At least that happened to me when Meg’s timer triggered while I was innocently poking around to see what was there when Phase 1 launched, even though I was really trying not to do so since I hadn’t collected anything yet.

Fortunately this time nothing among the leaderboard prizes appeals to me, other than clams of course, so I won’t stress. The last time, I was motivated by Don Corleone’s cat and Lemon Pledge Kingpin Consuela.

I installed the AMazon update and the stage no longer lights up if you rag doll Avril over it, not sure about the others and didn’t drop her either, I’m sure they are tired of people locking up the game and having to get them back in!
Nothing on Phase 3 though?!

Excited for the new content 🙂 Has anyone done the newest iOS update? Has it affected being able to play? I was so glad I looked here before updating to iOS 9 beta. I do not plan on being locked out of this game as we ALL know just HOW important it is lol

I agree, this event is MUCH more low-key. I am loving it. Still requires patience and has it’s challenges, but not a “omg what do i do what do i do omg that’s not enough time” all day long.

I’m also enjoying this even miles more than the Mobster. I started playing during that event and thought I had longer and that it wasn’t time. They’ve been much clearer about the times for this 1 and I don’t feel like I’m always trying to catch up. I just hope 20 trucks don’t show up at some point lol

I forgot today was Thursday and sent Peter and Joe on their encore tasks before I realized they couldn’t finish before next update. Maybe it will be a late update and I might just get to use it before the update hits. I just need an hour and a half late update (fingers crossed).
Also hoping for either Weird Al or Deadmau5 are next. I would love a free album of either.

I must have completed the “perform a Peterpaloozer encore task” at least 2 times but its not saying complete, is there a particular character I need to click to perform it right because I’ve done it with joe and then just with Peter but its not completing #omg #help #the stress

I really hope Alice Cooper is next! He’s one of my favorite artists and one of the only two I was excited to see on the lineup for PeterPalooza (the other being Weird Al). My Quahog is ready to pledge allegiance to the Black Widow!

I was 4 days late starting this event, due to being locked out of my game since the end of the Mobster event. 😢 (But I’ll not get bogged down with that here!). So, I’ve been playing catch up ever since and still require 4 items each to unlock both Joe Lion and Rapper Brian. I would like to ask if the Stage and the Merch. Stand will automatically upgrade to the phase 3 content @ 3pm, even though I will not have completed the main quest line for phase 2?

It is just an across the board warning to all players. Many triggered him the day Phase 2 started… so his time is running out for a lot. Many players complain TinyCo doesn’t warn them enough about timed characters. I guess this is there way of saying “HEY…YOU GOT A TIMER… CHECK IT”. Lol. 😉

Would love to see Ozzy or Metallica show up. A “Loose Lois” costume would be neat, with a use for the guys from Kiss as well.

I am 2 tickets away from getting rapper brian. I was then going to do my first joe lion concert which I assume would finish that questline. If i wait till tomorrow to do both I won’t get locked out because of the new content correct? I can just keep business as usual and once I complete these things tomorrow I will see phase 3 in my game? running out of time to decide ha

If you can’t access the stage, try the “secret” work around until you can again.

Joe Lion’s concert will give you up to three tickets as a reward. But if you are up to the concert step in the main questline, then you’ll need to get them from the greased up runner to avoid triggering phase 3.
If you are still in Part 6 of the main questline, then you can just hold off on one of the steps until you’re ready. Your concert will count when to do move I. To Part 7

Continuing after my phone decided to prematurely post– if you are holding off on the first concert just to get Brian, that won’t be necessary because as long as there is time on his timer, he will still be in the kiosk. He might be moved to the second page (that happened with Meg).
I’m deliberately not sending Lois on the bee swatting task (last thing left to do in Part 6 of the main questline) to avoid triggering Phase 3 once I move to Part 7- I’ve already done the concert so that will be already checked off. I want to do some encores, and won’t be able to do that very soon if I’m in Phase 3 (will have to unlock the new Phase 3 rock star and run his concert before I can do encores again).

I have a feeling that this week we’ll get Weird Al, and the Stewies outfit, I wouldn’t be too surprised if we also get a premium character, one that hasn’t been announced.

Looking forward to the next phase ~ just really hoping that they keep the difficulty toned down as they have the first couple weeks. Still burnt out from the Mobster event and happy to be enjoying the game again without too much consternation!
