Posted on March 17, 2015 by | 759 comments

Update: Yes, we know they dropped the candy requirement down to 35.  (awesome!)  We’ve got a whole post about it.  Please continue to keep this post just about your counts and no other comments.  Thanks guys!
See this post for more details (and excited commentary on the candy drop):

Telenovela Candy Changes

Hey there Minions!

I can see all your frustration in the comments on the event. I get it. Really. I am wanting to get an overall idea of where you all are as of right now. soapopera_peter-actionModal-002@2x

So let’s try something out. Please post ONLY answers the following, nothing more. (Anything else will be moderated.)

How many of each do you have?
CandyCandy
Cowboy HatHats
MustacheMustaches

How many Blindfolds do you currently have?

How often are you playing?

Please, again, ONLY answer these questions and nothing more. I want to keep the focus and responses on this post on straight facts. Feel free to use the OTHER posts for anything else and other direct questions. 😉

HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY!!

Posted on March 17, 2015 by | 38 comments

Hey there all you Lucky Charms!

Bouncing by just for the fun of it to give you a lil change of subject for the day. Today in the U.S.A. is March 17th aka St. Patrick’s Day. Where many put on some kind of Green Colored Clothing, participate in some kind of Green Ale Drinking, and make a feast of food they may not normally eat. (At least that’s how a lot of my friends do it. Lol.)

This post is for open conversation. Pretty much anything and everything goes (as long as it still follows the Addicts Site Guidelines). Feel free to chat it up all you want.

If you are not sure of what to talk about, here are a few subjects to get you started.

How was your week?

Did you do anything silly for Pi Day? (I ordered Pizza Pies and made Dutch Apple Pies)

Have anything cool planned coming up this week?

Coming to our Addicts Meet and Greet in March? Would LOVE to see you there!

Send us a post card or letter yet? You know we LOVE to hear from YOU! (Thanks Savory Cook, I smiled. 😉  )

There you go. Get your typing fingers fired up and yap yap yap away.

Hey there Minions!

We see a lot of you have some concerns with the Telenovela Weekend Event. Sit tight, as usual we are here helping. I have only been a bit silent as I have been looking into all the issues and concerns you are expressing and sharing them all with TinyCo.

I have compiled a list of the main ones and highlighted them below. Consuela Technical Support Bunny Glitch Continue reading →

Star Trek Confirmed & iOS Update

Posted on March 12, 2015 by | 120 comments

Hey there Minions!

Now that TinyCo has officially confirmed the Star Trek Event my lil icon I posted teased to you, we can now go ahead and let you know that March 19th, 2015 the Family Guy Star Trek Event will be launching into our silly lil games.

Star Trek Peter

Are you excited NOW??!! What are your thoughts for the Event? Excited to see how they play into the Series? Ideas of what we will expect? Let us know.

~Bunny

On the flip side, many iOS players should now be seeing a newer Version in the Market for the App (1.7.1). I am still checking to see if my game is back to normal on that device.

Just finished updating the newer iOS Version to my devices. All seem to be functioning just fine. One I did have to go through the Beginning of the game til the Menu popped to let me sign back in, but it looks like all is working as intended again. WOOHOO!!! Downside, my cute lil Star Trek Icon is gone. At least we now know it is coming soon. 😉

You may also see this lil fun thing pop up in your game. Feel free to tap on “ENGAGE” as it will essentially take you to their FB Page and the info for the Upcoming Event.

LAST CHANCE Cutaway Weekend Items!

Posted on March 11, 2015 by | 22 comments

Hey there Clammers!

The fun lil items TinyCo dropped over the weekend will be leaving our silly lil games later today. These Limited Time Items will stay until 3PM PDT (PDT as Daylight Savings will have set in for many.) So if you were waiting to decide, make sure you make your choice BEFORE time runs out today and they are gone. Other Right Shark Cutaway Weekend End Time DateIn order to see this content, you will need to have District 3 unlocked. FYI, players on the Windows Stand Alone Version… the Weekend Items will not be available to you. In order to see the Event, you will need to be playing on the full Mobile Version of the App.

Side Note: Yes we are aware that Apple Market is broken. TinyCo is well aware too. Nothing can be done at this point as it is all in the hands of Apple, so hang in there while we ALL play the waiting game on them. 😉

To Boldly Go Where No Peter Has Gone Before??

Posted on March 10, 2015 by | 189 comments

Hey there Minions.

I know you all are “patiently” (HAHAHAHAHAH!) waiting for something to come along to break apart the monotony of what this Fine Arts District has brought. No worries, as I have been trying to tell you all… it is the “calm before the storm”.  What on earth am I talking about? Well… lemme just put this lil icon here and let the NERD FREAK OUTS BEGIN!!! 😛Star Trek Peter Icon

Star Trek Peter

But seriously, this is an icon that appeared with no warning… no info… and nothing to verify just when/if this is gonna happen. All I can say is THIS Geeky Nerd Girl is TOTALLY FREAKING THE FRAK OUT!!! Just sayin.

So to let you all join in my Bunny Insanity in the Asylum, I thought it would be fun to step OUTSIDE the norm and have a lil speculation fun. Go grab your Lirpa, get some of the “fight music” cued up, and let’s get this koon-ut-kal-if-fee started!!

~Bunny

UPDATE: Just a warning as I see this spreading. I saw this icon after an iOS/Apple update NOT a TinyCo one was forced on my device. Once back my Family Guy Updated to a 1.7 version. (Other apps did too.) Since then I’m not able to get back in the game now on that iOS device (Android I can still get in fine). The App is no longer in the App Market. And if I try to pull it from my purchases on the cloud… I just get Consuela “Can’t Connect”. I’ve reported it. Feel free to email them too help@tinyco.com

UPDATE 3-11: Here are a few links from around on the iOS issue currently going on. My suggestion is to turn OFF any auto App Market updates (if you can) and avoid any changes to your Family Guy App at all costs. Stay on the 1.6.8 version. Do NOT try to find or force the 1.7 Version or your game will not work.

FYI… TinyCo is well aware of the issue and doing all they can, unfortunately this is NOT anything to do with them. It is ALL on iOS. So all they can do is wait like the rest of us for the App Market to come back… THEN they can make sure the Family Guy App is working as it should be.

Posted on March 9, 2015 by | 21 comments

As you are playing through quest lines, finishing up some tasks, or seeking to get those “rare” items for our characters… you may catch a glance at some of the funny moments that happen in our games. For those of you that are watching and are actually able capture these rather silly and strange things as they happen, we want to see them.

Now comes the fun part, once a week we will be posting these silly images here but want YOU, the readers, to caption them for us. So put on your silly thinking hats, let out that lil comedian inside, and have some fun! (Keep them PG please.)

This week’s Caption This was sent in by Addicts Reader Bman….
