Update 8/11: Quagmire’s 12hr Drink at the Clam task now can earn you Ice Cream Sundaes. Remember it’s still extra rare in drop rate…but it’s nice to have another character that can earn it 🙂
Also, Ron’s task to earn pesticides has now been split from his task to earn batteries. His 4hr task now will always drop green pesticide, and he has a new 8hr task Shop for Tough Guy Bandanas now has the chance to drop batteries (rare).

New Way to Earn Blam!:
Similar to defeating King Butt, this event now has Defeat Giant Stewie. This time you’re required to collect pesticides to defeat him.
You’ll find Giant Stewie on top of the Convention Center
And you’ll have to collect pesticides of various colors from characters and zapping mutant stewie’s to defeat him. You’ll have 24 hrs to defeat him for each time…ie get the right color and number of pesticides to defeat him. Each time you defeat him before the clock runs out you’ll earn more and more Blam!
When you tap on him you’ll see this screen…showing you what color and number you need:
We’ll have a full break down of Giant Stewie soon, but that’s the basic breakdown.

Fabulous Challenge:
This triggers by Peter once you’re on Part 4 of the Enfant Terrible questline. This week’s challenge is to defeat Giant Stewie 5 times in 3 days.
Don’t worry the clock won’t start until you get to part 4 of the main questline. Correction this is starting at part 2, part 3 and part 4 for some people. So assume it’ll kick in once you learn how to defeat stewie and have peter get pesticides. Basically don’t complete part 1 if you want to stall it.
So build up those pesticides…so you can defeat him quickly!

oh trust me, i understand, I work in high volume incalls for customer service, it becomes overwhelming at times, but like you said, im extremely pumped for phase III and really wanna start collecting the sprays, which seems impossible at this point in time, seeing as my game is still half loaded b/t new items(some new buildings, decos, etc) yet no felicia day or giant mutant stewie

i just got Felicia Day with clams so i didnt buy any of the buildings to get the items but when i went to the store the buildings to get items for felicia disappeared as soon as i unlocked her is this a problem or its been like this ever since HELP

I’m newish to the game (yay Kindle!) & frankly the increase in price for the buildings that drop things is ridiculous (I could and did justify 50 clams for a building for Captain Hammered to make things a little less of a grind but 100-150? For each of the next 5 weeks? I get that the game rewards you in clams for completing sets of characters but this is nuts…I’m sitting on the end of my initial $5 clam purchase and have no desire to spend more….frankly, this event could have drawn me away from TSTO but the design of the game leaves me frustrated (Bruce has been making gin for days and now to unlock Chris’s costume he’ll be teaching CPR for a week….Peter is the only character with a 1 minute task that earns Blam and now he’ll be on a pesticide hunt…which CartoonChris could help with but it’ll take me a week to unlock (I don’t think I’m playing too infrequently, today is the first day I won’t reach the android goals (probably about 400 short)

Totally agree joyce! For me personally the events so far just seem to be mostly if not all based around clam items to get items dropped to unlock people or skins. Its just a cash grab for people to keep buying clams. I understand its a buisiness and they have to make money but 500 clams for bryan cranston and he only gives you $10 and 5 xp Every 2 hrs is a pisstake! Hes only that price for the items he drops. Iv previously bought clams and still no way afford everything!

500 blams is way to expensive… And two Quest that requires 8000 blams together (costume and house), maby even more for new char. I kinda feel like they are “forcing” me to use their offer om clams atm.
I love the event, so much fun, but I dont like it beeing put up like this. Would also love if they could use more characters, I feel Peter has so much stuff to get (Movies, cake and spray), while other charcters got nothing… Nothing atall.
Is the Big stewie the new Quest for car 2? Could not find any info on it. And will he dissaper for good in 24 hours?
I feel so judgemental now, but suffering from a price shock, haha.

Now I see Bruce is needed for both Chris and Felicia, as well as Peter for pesticides and Chris costume. Not sure which to choose! I am pleased to see the BLAM rewards are useful and will drop items to help us along. Give and take, like with everything else I suppose. 🙂

With people paying 500 for Cranston, he probably will be 700 at least, like the Sommelier. The games economy is based on Tiny Co wanting people to buy clams, they don’t care what they spend them on. Players using clams to buy1 big purchase or 7 small ones is the same to them as they’ve got the money from the clam purchase anyway.

I’ve cleared the last 2 Phases before the next one starts. Clearing Phase 3 before Phase 4 starts is going to be a challenge for me. I’m going to have to bust into superhero mode, myself, to stay on track. But, overall, I’m very pleased with the amount of features they continue to add. 500 clams for Bryan Cranston does suck, though.

K so let’s look into your issue at hand. Not sure why you keep seeing the cycle. Did you get to see Giant Stewie attacking the Con?
As for Felicia, you need to have completed the other Stewie Spawn questline to part 5 (Creature from the Goo Lagoon), once that is done than Felicia’s quest will pop.
Have you tried any troubleshooting yet? Hard/Force Close? Restart device? Uninstall/Reinstall making sure your account is linked first to email or FB? Let me know and we will work from there. 😉

Are you just showing gears? It show up after a bit of time, it appears the servers are running slow with their image file downloads. You can send TinyCo an in game message also, so they can track it. 😉

Hey guys need some feedback here. I was thinking that like in king butt it will be close to near impossible to get max times for the blam. Is it smart to ignore the 24hr rule for the next three days and just collect pesticide than when I have a lot use the one pesticide on stewie than collect for 24hr and than do the next order of pesticide till I hit max multiplying than let it expire go back to X1 and repeat the process. Thanks for feedback.

Yeah, seems like the same deal has the “KB” mini game, save up for a bit, then start your run. Then wait until the timer is almost up each time you defeat “GS” (Giant Stewie). Glad they started it earlier then the Full Moon event….proves they do listen and adapt. 😉

How many parts are there to “Creature From the Goo Lagoon”? I’m on part 5, where you have to zap mutant Stewie 10 times. I have 3 more to zap and be done with that part. If there is a part 6, etc, then what would I have to do in those parts to be done with the questline?

Actually 500 clams is reasonable for a premium voiced character especially since it’s Bryan Cranston. To put it in perspective, 600 clams is $19.99 = 300 donuts is $19.99 in Tapped Out. The whale in Tapped Out cost 300 donuts while 500 clams for freakin’ Bryan “Breaking Bad” Cranston is less than the cost of the whale. I’m sold! 🙂

I just bought Brian Cranston. He comes with a 4-hour task that has a chance for all three pesticides.
While he’ll be really helpful in trying to get George Takei, at 500 clams, there may be a cheaper way later on. I just love this event (because nerds) and I’m going to make sure I get everyone.

Yeah, I’m not paying 500 clams for Bryan Cranston. That’s most of a $20 crate. Even if you were getting clams by the tank, it’s still over $14.
That being said, it looks like they’ve started the “King Butt” event. Hopefully it works the same way, and lasts until the end of the event, so we can stockpile these pesticides for the very end. It also looks like it was good to stockpile the batteries, though I do find it disturbing that red nerds are no longer listed on the record drop. Hopefully they keep dropping.
I may start using my batteries to try to speed up drops for Chris’s costume, though I may wait until the flagpole completes in case Felicia’s drops get added to the mix.

Looking forward to you explaining just what the hell all this pesticide thing is talking about. No idea if I should be trying to use them, or saving up as many as possible before some deadline, or what. No idea if I should be using my batteries to gather pesticides, or saving those for the vehicle challenge. No idea if I should be sending people on tasks to gather pesticides, or tasks to gather items for Chris’ costume.
Basically I’ve just set the flagpole repairing, and I’m continuing with normal Blam-gathering until you get your post up. Hopefully I won’t miss out on something I should be doing urgently right now 😀 It’s too confusing! It’s so confusing, it just took me 3 attempts to spell confusing right!

Right now, play this mini event just like the “King Butt” event (oh…I hope you played that one…lol), don’t defeat Giant Stewie until the 24 hour timer is close to running out. This will give you more time to collect pesticides. Some tasks work for both Chris and pesticides (click on the “multi-item” boxes when you see them next to a task description to see what goodies are in it). More info coming….I know it’s a lot right now, but you’ll be in the groove in no time. 😉

I’m on Kindle, so only got the game a few weeks ago and have no idea about “King Butt”.
I’m confused about the logic of waiting for the timer to run out. The 24 hours was already counting down.. I completed the first stage to do the quest (it required 1x Green Pesticide). He comes back 1 minute later and I now have to get 3x Red Pesticides to get to the next stage I guess. If I waited until the 24 hours was almost up, how would I know which kind of pesticides I should have been going after? What is the benefit of waiting since the 24 hour timer keeps ticking on anyway?

It depends on how you want to play the game. You want that multiplier to be at the MAX if say…you are on a day you play the game every single hour or take advantage of Peters Surf the Bird. So…players will only multiply their payouts a lil on days they may not get the full use of it, and MAX it on days they do. Make sense?
It all really comes down to how YOU want to play it out. How YOU use your time and the multiplier to your advantage. Keep in mind, it resets at the end of each day. 😉

Any idea (maybe based on King Butt) how hard it is to reach the max? Stage 1 required just 1 pesticide, now it requires 3? Will the final stage require something stupid like 30 sprays? Is it realistic to max it from a day’s worth of tasks and regular play (bearing in mind that the pesticide tasks take a while, without Bryan Cranston) or does it require a couple of days worth of saving before going for it?
“OMG STOP RAMBLING” VERSION: I’m just wondering how many pesticides I should hope to have saved up before I decide it’s worth trying to max out the multiplier.

I cliked on the big Steawepus and king Butt that require shot appeared. The shots are doped from celebrities 1 day job. Patrick Stewart had only 2 hours until he done his job, so I rush it with clams to get that shot. I get a purple one, and I required a blue one, but the quest said that I’m done so I defeat Stewie and get 1000 blam! from a glitch.

Anyone else having problems with Felica Days Yougart building not shiwing in the game, all I see is a gear and an empty foundation, and if you click it you can see it’s making coins.

I always do a Hard Forced close stop when I’m between game sessions, keeping games open in memory still eats battery, it was the first thing I did before comming here, but it didn’t work and kept getting the gear, but after an hour the Yogart shop finally showed up.

Woohoo im the first to comment!! Sooo much stuff to buy and build. Im overwhelmed! Seriously its too much. ive got no room to put anything new! im having to take original buildings/decorations and put em in storage so much so my towns starting to look crappy!
I dont mind a few extra new things to go with the main prizes but its just all stuff you have to buy with clams to get dropped items. Whats the point in collecting money anymore apart from to buy land?
Fyi i have moaned at tinyco too! Lol

wow, that’s just messed up. 500 clams for Cranston is my first real complaint for this game, i’ve been forgiving, but 500 clams for a character that was never hinted at costing clams is messed up. i’m guessing Nathon Fillion will cost clams too, oy vey

Well, at least we get 100 of them back when we complete the set of three, and we already know that George Takei won’t cost any clams. Still expensive though.

I tried it already, didn’t work. During the King Butt event, you could close the game then open it right after you defeated him. When you checked again, it had increased each “jelly-yo” shot by 20. But for now, nothing like that in this event.

Umm.. What’s the “glitch?” So overwhelmed! And should I save a bunch of sprays and then use them all at once to keep the streak like with king butt. Thanks in advance! 😉

It was something that popped up during the Full Moon event, that increased your jelly-yo shots by 20 each. It doesn’t work for this event, sadly.

I really love the new buildings…but I am disappointed that Bryan Cranston costs clams – and 500 is a lot of clams.

Anyone else having issues with the new questline??
I tap peter to launch it but then it comes up with the task completed box with the 2 tasks (tap stewie and collect fertilizer) marked as done. And then it launches the same task again via peter?
So I’m just cycling thought part 1 of the new task, unable to see what I have to do…..
