Update 8/11: Quagmire’s 12hr Drink at the Clam task now can earn you Ice Cream Sundaes. Remember it’s still extra rare in drop rate…but it’s nice to have another character that can earn it 🙂
Also, Ron’s task to earn pesticides has now been split from his task to earn batteries. His 4hr task now will always drop green pesticide, and he has a new 8hr task Shop for Tough Guy Bandanas now has the chance to drop batteries (rare).

New Way to Earn Blam!:
Similar to defeating King Butt, this event now has Defeat Giant Stewie. This time you’re required to collect pesticides to defeat him.
You’ll find Giant Stewie on top of the Convention Center
And you’ll have to collect pesticides of various colors from characters and zapping mutant stewie’s to defeat him. You’ll have 24 hrs to defeat him for each time…ie get the right color and number of pesticides to defeat him. Each time you defeat him before the clock runs out you’ll earn more and more Blam!
When you tap on him you’ll see this screen…showing you what color and number you need:
We’ll have a full break down of Giant Stewie soon, but that’s the basic breakdown.

Fabulous Challenge:
This triggers by Peter once you’re on Part 4 of the Enfant Terrible questline. This week’s challenge is to defeat Giant Stewie 5 times in 3 days.
Don’t worry the clock won’t start until you get to part 4 of the main questline. Correction this is starting at part 2, part 3 and part 4 for some people. So assume it’ll kick in once you learn how to defeat stewie and have peter get pesticides. Basically don’t complete part 1 if you want to stall it.
So build up those pesticides…so you can defeat him quickly!

I too was thinking about just letting the timer expire for the first day. I did not play it smart with King Butt last time and I want to get it right this time. So my strategy will be to earn as many sprays as possible over the next 45 hours and then defeat the horrific leviathan, and every day after that wait until the timer is almost expired and defeat him again. Hopefully it works and hopefully now that they issued this challenge much earlier than King Butt we will have multiple chances at reaching the highest multiplier.

I didnt get king butt but dont care because he didnt show up on the charater unless you got him but I cant stand the thought of the comicon characters empty grey outlines taunting me after the event is over. The meth trailer would be cool but hes still the dad from malcom in the middle to me.

Caused me to retire from the military early. Turns out I needed it for more than naps and a place to connect my butt. Sorry to hear you have issues as well. Get’s worse as you age. I hope you find the best method to manage it. Luckily you are young and pretty and have a long time before the healing slows to a trickle.

I was the same but after a year in Iraq wearing 65lbs of gear all day every day then it finally got me. Can still pick up my kids so I’m thankful for that. I love the bug zapper. It really works or I’m so glad the zapping stopped that the pain seems less. Either way it feels better.

Hi! I’m experiencing a crazy bug just now. A popup came up and said the event has expired and now everything comic con related is gone! I hadn’t unlocked Ron Perlman yet and now he’s just hanging out in the trees. I sent a ticket, but since you seem to have some insider info, would you be able to find out if this is an issue that a lot of people are having or just me? My fiance has the same phone I do and his is working fine.

I know it is something others are going through that they are hoping an patch will correct. Sending in a help ticket is best as it helps them to be able to go into the impacted games and see what is causing it to ensure it is resolved properly. If we hear anything else in the meantime, we will address it. Hang in there. 😉

I was surprised about the high clam cost of Bryan Cranston, but after buying him I realized that he has a task that only takes two hours and earns all three pesticides every time. Made the cost easier to swallow.

That is ….ODD. I have not heard of that one. Maybe try a few troubleshooting steps to see if it will clear it up. Also ensure you got a really strong WiFi signal. 😉

I have no will power when it comes to Heisenberg! I broke down and spent the 500 clams (can’t believe it did that). I adore him! Just one small suggestion to Tiny Co., Cranston really should say “say my name”. Since I just spent my hard earned real life money on him, perhaps they could return the favor by adding that one phrase 😉.

This has happened in the past with other obvious tasks, but is anyone else surprised/annoyed that you can’t earn Hams by sending Chris to eat a large ham? Others that come to mind are Jerome playing baseball didn’t earn bats and Xerxes fetchings jewels not earning jewels

It’s like they’re begging you to use clams to buy the buildings since everything requires Peter, and most of the time only he drops the item other than spending clams for the buildings that also drops it.

I can understand you may view it that way. The premiums will always be offered for players that like to spend the money for those extras. The games are always customized that way. So both Premiums and Freemiums can play in the style they are used to. Does not mean you have to as well. From what I have seen, I followed the quest and unlocked Captain Hammered just fine. While still following the quest I unlocked Ron. Zapping Stewie gave me TONS of items I needed and now continues to with the new stuff. Tapping nerds gave me needed items. All this without one clam spent on my main game. 😉

2 extra rare items for Felicia is crazy. And making us give up 500 clams for Bryan is crazy too.

Wow they are just begging people to ragequit this game aren’t they? I accept that only 1/3 of the available characters can earn blam, they want to make it tough. But they are just ridiculous with the uneven distribution of character earning item tasks. We’ve had 5 things to earn items for so far (3 characters, 2 outfits), with a total of 14 tasks characters could do. The breakdown:
-4 Peter/Captain Hammered
-4 Bruce
-2 Chris
-2 Bonnie
-1 Quagmire
-1 Bryan Cranston
That would make ZERO tasks for Patrick Stewart, Ron Pearlman, Jerome, and Lois (hey they gave her a single earning task, she counts). So out of the possible characters to earn items, 60% of them have had 0 or 1 task. Unbelievably unbalanced to say the least. Right now, Bruce and Peter are both needed for 3 different things (Pearlman, Felicia, Blobulous), not to mention the new pesticides – at least that’s something for Patrick Stewart to do, but it’s just piling on so many things at once when only 7-10 characters can even do anything (really 5-8 as Lois & Jerome have had nothing to do so far) – utterly ridiculous.
Also, I was closing in on Ron Pearlman (remember, some of us were a week behind in starting on Patrick Stewart, I should be at or ahead of the Android curve), and now the game updates automatically with the Blobulous drops. Which means my Latcher Stewie no longer drops the puppies and movies I need to finish RP, it’s now dropping things for Blobulous – WTF??!!. Pearlman’s item description still says they will drop from Latcher Stewie, but I just went 0-5 – only Blobulous items or nothing.
So in summary, urge to kill rising.

With the luck of Kitten and Cyber pushing me..I unlocked Hellboy four hours ago (…..and maybe 20 clams towards a film)…and bam!! the second this Android user is finally caught up someone shot off a starting pistol again (darn you chaos!!). Closing in on 15k but could use a solid influx of blam potential to the veins with a super Joe, premium characters being allowed to collect blam or a doubling of Blam Tinyco!! Thanks again ABC crew (Alissa, Bunny, Cyber!!) and hopefully Bunny makes it through the mad amount of info she is putting out and mountain of questions about said info

Thought I’d give details on the bug I’m experiencing, one that at least one other person seems to be. I have unlocked Patrick Stewart and just got Perlman earlier today. I have completed the Creature from the Goo Lagoon questline with only three quests active: Stewart Takes on Quahog (sleepover!), Perls of Wisdom (practice fighting), and Girl on Fire (burn dinner).
1. There is no giant Stewie,
2. There is no Felicia Day in town or on the flagpoles (the cart reads “in The Cocoon”).
3. Of the buildings you list, Ethereal Larping Forest and Felicia Day’s Trailer are not available for me to build or buy. The rest are there.
4. Peter has a quest exclamation point, but it leads to part 2 of Enfant Terrible, a quest I’ve not seen part 1 of. The two objectives – Have Captain Hammered Gather Smelly Pesticides & Tap Giant Stewie and Defeat Him – have check marks by them with no option to do anything but close the window. Tapping Peter again leads to the same dialogue and quest screen for part 2 with no way to advance.

Glad to see that the board game shop, hotel, and clamterprise are going to be producing for Felicia, though collecting those “extra rare” items doesn’t sound like it’s going to be fun, and the Hotel and Nerds are no longer listed as dropping Perlman unlocks. If the latter is actually the case (and not just an oversight), it may be a step back.

Nice to see the return of the jelly shot game far in advance of the end of event. I kinda feel they came up with the idea too late with full moon. Everyone’s blam should start to skyrocket from here on out. I know max multiplying will only be 2,500 this time round but we have a long time to stockpile.

The clams needed to play this game are getting ridiculous. I’ve spent money, but I’m at my breaking point. One time uses for buildings is wrong. Every once in a while it would be nice to see old buildings produce items that we’ll need to complete new quest. Non clam buildings that help quest would be nice also. The premium characters are a waste of money. They rarely have quests that help things along. 500 clams for Cranston is about 400 to much at best. Almost done with this game…

The plus side to Cranston is a 2 hour task that ALWAYS drops at least 1 of each type of pesticide (sometimes more). I just got 1 green, 1 orange and 2 reds. But I agree about the clam costs for so many things. It has been a complaint of mine since day one.

Another “where the hell”. The Nifty Fifties Diner was seen in that awesome episode where Peter rediscovers the Surfin Bird song playing on a jukebox, and starts Surfin the Bird! The Dead Format Records store is in the same episode, where Jesus works! Peter tries going there to get another copy of that song, but Brian and Stewie bought them all. Curse you TinyCo. I told myself i would not spend any money on this game but like other games something comes out that i have to get my hands on. Bryan Cranston has to be mine! Lol one of his tasks is baking bad with a little burnt muffin; I think that is hilarious. Well off to buy my clams until next time my FG:TQFS addicts!

How are you supposed to beat giant stewie 5 times in 3 days when it takes a day for the fight to recharge???

It’s not recharging, it’s giving you 24 hours to start your next battle. Once you have the required pesticides, you can fight him whenever you like, then the clock resets to another 24 hours. 😉

I’m loving the new stuff! Even though I think the clam cost for Bryan is high, I still think it’s better than gambling on him, you know? (Of course if TinyCo were to change the price I wouldn’t put up a fight lol) I also think it’s fair that they’d charge for these bigger named celebrities. But, they are also giving a lot in this event! Patrick Stewart, Ron Perlman, Felicia Day, and George Takei are all available to win freemium in the game. Plus they’re coming out with a lot of stuff available to purchase with event currency! AND, they have blam prizes and character outfits! Not everything in the game is going to be free. I still think they should lower the prices of clam items though. I don’t really like spending more than $30 for an event.

I was not liking the price too, but bought him. He has a 2 hour task that ALWAYS drops at least one of each kind of pesticide …sometimes more (I just got 4 total, 1 green, 1 orange and 2 red). Think of him as not only a cool character, but a super item dropping building/stand. 😉

I noticed that when the update hit, Nathan Fillion is no longer an option to buy. He’s not grayed out like he was before, just completely gone. All other characters are still there.
I was so looking forward to getting him in my game! I hope he does become an option again.

Great! I did check the FaceSpace page and saw he was on there. There was some janky code as his blurb, though, so I was leery that he would show up. George Takei has the same janky blurb too, but he’s still in the character buy list, so I’ll just hope they put Nathan back up soon!

I actually had requested a donut shop with a big donut on the roof several weeks ago on the FB page, and I’m really happy they did it.
Paying clams for it… not so much.

There’s just so much to do… I’m fighting to keep up, whilst still trying to unlock Stewie (maybe I’m a bit behind?)…. Although I’m loving this event, as it’s kept me entertained for countless hours. Keep up the good work Tiny Co. It’s after midnight so perhaps I should put the game away now… But can’t!
