Update 8/11: Quagmire’s 12hr Drink at the Clam task now can earn you Ice Cream Sundaes. Remember it’s still extra rare in drop rate…but it’s nice to have another character that can earn it 🙂
Also, Ron’s task to earn pesticides has now been split from his task to earn batteries. His 4hr task now will always drop green pesticide, and he has a new 8hr task Shop for Tough Guy Bandanas now has the chance to drop batteries (rare).

New Way to Earn Blam!:
Similar to defeating King Butt, this event now has Defeat Giant Stewie. This time you’re required to collect pesticides to defeat him.
You’ll find Giant Stewie on top of the Convention Center
And you’ll have to collect pesticides of various colors from characters and zapping mutant stewie’s to defeat him. You’ll have 24 hrs to defeat him for each time…ie get the right color and number of pesticides to defeat him. Each time you defeat him before the clock runs out you’ll earn more and more Blam!
When you tap on him you’ll see this screen…showing you what color and number you need:

Fabulous Challenge:
This triggers by Peter once you’re on Part 4 of the Enfant Terrible questline. This week’s challenge is to defeat Giant Stewie 5 times in 3 days.
Don’t worry the clock won’t start until you get to part 4 of the main questline. Correction this is starting at part 2, part 3 and part 4 for some people. So assume it’ll kick in once you learn how to defeat stewie and have peter get pesticides. Basically don’t complete part 1 if you want to stall it.
So build up those pesticides…so you can defeat him quickly!

Family Guy Addicts 
Anyone found a fix or workaround yet for the bug that makes this phase unplayable? I still have no Giant Stewie, Felicia Day, Blobulus, Ethereal Larping Forest or Felicia Day’s Trailer. Peter is stuck on offering me part 2 of Enfant Terrible without me seeing said enfant or part 1. Thankfully the challenge hasn’t begun as none of the phase 3 items are offered or dropping.
The only quests offered are Cranston’s. I’ve restarted, updated, and reinstalled from scratch, all on iOS and Android, all to no avail. Any thoughts or help? Thanks!

TinyCo is looking into it. Sorry. Hopefully they will get a fix soon. Make sure you open a ticket with them on it. Every player impacted sending in the reports is helping them in resolving it.

Hey, is anyone on Android having a problem where theirs no giant stewie, felicia day is still locked, and stuck on enfant terrible part 2? For me it says I have battled giant stewie and collected pesticide but nothing happens, when I havent battled him and it isnt even appearing. I do have bryan though.
(Or am I prematurely saying anything and the ‘update’ isnt out on andriod yet?)

Yes, the issue is being looked into. In the meantime make sure you open a ticket with TinyCo that you are one of the players impacted.

Fix the cause of all the crashes behore adding more to the game! It took me over 10 tries to get it to open plus it always crashes when going to another town.

I zapped giant Stewie last night and then used batteries to zap the four mutant Stewie. Giant Stewie came back a minute later but the mutant Stewies have not. Aren’t they suppose to still pop up every few hours? It’s been over 12 and nothing.

Every 3 hours. Very odd if they are not. Try some basic troubleshooting and let us know how it goes.

I love that defeating Giant Stewie is so much easier than than awful King Butt Jell-O shot event! So far, the timed challenges have all been doable too. I know I won’t get all of the main prizes unlocked but overall I’m much happier with this event.

I noticed the strip of uncleared land by the water has changed to a darker green instead of the usual smoke/debris. Anyone else seen this? Hopefully when I do choose to clear it there won’t be any issues.

Well I’m only on 18000 Blam! total with 2000 stored so I think it’s safe to say that getting all these buildings may just be impossible! Gutted the glitch doesnt work either, missed that last time too 😦

Does the multiplier work on all tasks. Because I’m on the 8x multiplier but nothing has changed I still get the same amount of blam per task.

Ok getting a bit frustrated. Has ANYONE had Quagmire drop a record for them? The nerds no longer drop them, and he hasn’t dropped a single one for me and I’m still 3 away from Ron.
Also, do we think the batteries will come back into play later in the event? Seems strange a character (Ron) would have a task to earn them when their need is already over before some of us unlocked him.

I only got 1 record from quagmire, and is had him on that task 24/7 for a week…. Tinyco said it’s not a bug but it still seems like one to me when his drop rate is behaving like “epic”

I had 6 that came from Quagmire, constantly redoing the task and the rest from nerds, which took until 11pm last night to get the final “nerd dropping”. Pot luck I guess zombie, keep at it!

I am confused as to how the car challenge gets unlocked. I have a giant Stewie and can collect pesticides, but I do not see the challenge as being active and do not even seen the quest line active.

Personally, I’m using them when needed. I’m getting decent drop rates on them from nerds, so i’m using them to my advantage at this point.

I agree with a comment i read somewhere regarding too many characters without a purpose and I understand what bunny says that they are trying to allow new players to take part in the event but even if they stuck the chance of the stewie sprays on the 12hr tasks of these characters it would at least give them a purpose and reward the long time gamers a little extra, I’m sure connie and Tricia haven’t had anything to do.
I’ve been away a little bit and I noticed a 3rd celeb has Nathan Fillion already been in the game?
Lots to do, Blam to collect, Stewie’s to beat up.

Hey you Geeks, love the now “official startpage site in my browser” does it make a difference if you select ‘Click Red Shirt Geeks’ from the toon for a prize; or can you just click them? I tend to find doing it through a toon, I get better rewards that’s all? any one else see this?

i like to click the geeks before i click before i click any character with a guaranteed drop (almost anyone with a box for more than 1 item)
think that if you click and get a good collectable the chances are higher for the next click to be lower.

Decided to go ahead and buy some clams to get Bryan Cranston. Only to have the game crash each time I try to purchase him. Reboot, clear cache, complete reinstall, nothing works, crashes every time. Quite frustrating! This is on a Nook HD+(probably not one of the more common devices to play on, hah).

People keep saying Cranston has a 2 hour pesticide-giving job, but for me it says 4 hours. His 2-hour one gives nothing.

Just for clarification on giant stewie…I can collect a bunch of pesticides over the next several days and when ready activate the quest to defeat him five times… Then I can use 1 and that is one time, then the three and that would be my second time…I could then keep going or realistically I could wait until the next day resets and use one and then three and those would be my third and fourth time… Do I have this right?
I don’t have to get to 25x amount to count that as one defeat. Those are just bonuses.

Yes on the collection part (just make sure you do it before the challenge timer is up). And yes, for the streak. Best strategy is to collect as many as you can before you start the timer then run it down each day to get the next challenge, this way you have a huge build up and can earn the most blam! you can. We’ll have a detailed post on it shortly 🙂

The challenge is different than the main questline. You’ll see the Fabulous Challenge on top of the other task to defeat him 5 times.

You know. Why do I want to see a Petoria Event now? Since peter is rebuilding the town might as well bring back his country.
Also, Bryan Cranston is just too awesome the quest line is funny, the robot dance rocks, and having him give at least 3 pesticides every two hours builds up fast on getting Giant Stewie. He is worth every shell of that 500 clams.
Just wish I knew about the challenge before I defeated Stewie Twice lol now I have to wait till he resets to make sure I can complete the challenge. lol

I give credit to tinyco for offering a clam sale during the event (unlike EA whose strategy is to trick you into buying donuts in the hopes something good is coming) but i wish they offered the blam for $5 and up. I would probably buy the $5 pack but not ready to spend another $10 or more yet on this game. 4000 blam isnt extremely enticing to spend more. And 500 clams for cranston…its better than the 700 clam sommelier and at least he is a playable character, but $16 for one character is still pretty steep (much higher than any premium tsto characters). I never watched breaking bad so will probably pass and see what else is coming.
The giant stewie is a bit crazy, like king butt, but at least he appears early ad we have more time to work on him. But the blam cost for felicia day at 10000? And chris costs 6000…and they want us to buy the headquarters for 5000… This is getting ridiculous. Giant stewie gives a max payout of something like 4200 blam daily so i guess its possible though.

and the event still has 30 days to go, and we’ll need 100,000 Blam! to get George Takei. You’ve had to spend about 10,000 or so far (500 for Cpt Hammered, Restoring the buildings, 5000 for Perlman, 1000 for Stewart, the Furry Dungeon 500, Thing-a-ma Gadgets 750, and I’m blanking on ). With the 17,000 for this round, that’s about a quarter of what’s needed for the end of the event, which seems about right. They’re trying to pace it by the amount of drops required and the pace they drop so people don’t finish a month’s worth of content in 4 days and then quit because they’re bored.

Try hard closing and restarting the game. See if that adds to the total. If not send an in game message, you’re not the only one reporting it. 🙂

I’ve accumulated 12 batteries and have only been using my 4 hour zap on buildings, are they still worth storing or should I use them when i can for item drops?

My other thoughts are that I ADORE this event, superheroes and comic con was just a win in my eyes, although I’m gutted about Bryan having gotten every character so far, I think he is just a bit too much for me, and I missed the Jeeves store! Ugh. Ah well, very small black marks on what has otherwise been (for me at least) the best event TQFS has done.

Yikes! Did you try hard closing and restarting? See if that triggers it? Sometimes it’s delayed, like the blam! counter and hard closing helps trigger it.

It resets immediately after you defeat him (well within 45 seconds). The 24hr clock is how long you have to defeat him for the streak. 🙂

Sorry if this has been questioned already but….. will you be able to keep the coloured pesticides you collect that aren’t needed for the current task. Example, I need 3 green pesticides but keep getting orange pesticides! Will these be lost once the timer ends? Or do they carry over?

Has anybody gotten a glitch where Giant Stewie skips a level of difficulty? I’ve defeated him once, then I needed three red sprays for the second win. Only, when I collected the third spray, I clicked on the convention center and it told me I needed seven. The bonus multiplier has gone up to eight, but the Fabulous Four challenge is still only showing one victory over Giant Stewie. Thoughts?

I have a few questions. My car task popped up when I was on part 2 of the new quest so it’s gonna be a struggle to get it in time due to no pestisides.
Also, peters 2h tasks no longer give pestisides apparently. Don’t know if this is a glitch or intended. It’s not saying I win anything for the task and nothing drops from completing it either

Two things. 1. Think a better price range for characters would’ve been 300 clams. That way you could get 2 for $20. Can’t see shelling out 500 clams for 3 different characters.Either that or only have 1 or 2 pay characters at 500.
2. Would’ve been nice to have super hero Joe at this point. He could be collecting pesticides.

My strategy is to get the pesticides stored up to get stewie quick for the challenge. And then focus on Felicia (or Ron in your case) and the costumes. Gather pesticides from characters that drop them and no other items. Then focus on getting stewie as many times as i can in a row to build the streak up.

I’m a bit annoyed with this update, mostly cause I think Bryan Cranston is very overpriced. But I’m also a little annoyed at how much of the comic-con stuff is premium, I mean out of all the buildings released for comic-con 16 out of 22 require clams to build which seems a bit unfair. Surely there should be more regular stuff than premium. I’d also quite like to see tasks for other characters, it seems like Peter and Chris are doing everything, whilst poor Tricia and Seamus have nothing to do.

Only the ones that drop items for characters are premium, the “benefit” to premium items. Most of the comic-con themed buildings cost blam! (the premium ones are more out of place, like chutes and lads, record stores, etc)

I know, but I kind of wish they had some of the stuff that dropped items (even say 33% of the time) that you could buy with blam. As a freemium player it’s a bit frustrating having all these buildings that I can’t afford 😛

As a premium player it’s difficult having so many buildings too! Too many choices in my opinion. They should have a few buildings that you invest in and it drops the items for each character. Otherwise it becomes too much and too expensive!

I cant access my game since the last update. Consuela keeps blocking me out, asking that I upgrade when I already did. When im in the google store and try to launch my game, it just doesnt. Ive tried to reboot and it didnt help. As lucky as ive been with avoiding wicked glitches in TSTO, this game is now giving me a hard time! If I dont get George Takei because of this im gonna be UBER sad!

Ive been trying to access my game all morning after reinstalling my app and it kept crashing. I finally was able to get in and get to the place where I can log into my facebook account. Took a few hours, lots of patience and several crashes but im finally back in!

Yes…and yes. 2 hrs LOTS of pesticides…very well worth it. (just don’t rush the 2 hr task, it’ll cost you 38 clams to speed it up each time!)
