UPDATE 1230 AM EST: Try to uninstall and resinstall to see if issue is resolved and let us know. Before you do, make sure you were linked to a FB or an email account. If not, you will lose your game. I am trying this now myself. Those of you that did not link your accounts may have to wait for the gamewide fix to hit. They know no one likes having to uninstall.
FYI…the new content is gone for now. No info on its re-release, but I think we all can agree to have them wait to avoid this again. 🙂
If you games still seems a lil…OFF…try a force close or restart of your device to see if that helps to refresh it as well.

So far the updates hitting are resolving the issue of the cars not being able to rotate properly. As for the remaining content…we do not yet see it live in the games. That is not to say it won’t hit all of the sudden (this is actually early for an update than usual times. Lol.)

Testing in a studio is not the same as a live version hitting MILLIONS of all kinds of devices at once. You don’t know til its live. It is impossible to be perfect. Too many possibilities in coding. Good thing is they ARE on top of it. Faster than any other gaming company I have seen thus far.

The only ones that seem to be encountering the problem are the ones that updated today. Tried 2 devices that I updated and can’t log on both. Luckily I didn’t update my third device. That ones is able to log in without any difficulty. They did release something new. Just like the KB event, they released clam boxes that give you a specific color you choose. It is for 95 clams a box.

With that said Cybersilly quickly activated his rocket boots and flew in the direction of TinyCo headquarters. Upon arriving he initiated his cyber eye and looked deep into the heart of the building where he discovered the brave TinyCo employees huddled together. Gazing ever deeper, he discovered the source of the problem. His arch enemy, the Sober Bug, was wreaking havoc on the companies server. A small glimmer of rage twinkled in the cybernetic eye of our hero. He immediately activated the FGA beacon to alert his team to the danger. Soon the Sober Bug would feel the wrath of The Family Guy Quest For Stuff Squad. Changing into stealth mode and slowly lowering into a covered area, the Cyber one settled in to wait for his companions.

Cyber filled her in and the two heroes began to formulate a plan while waiting for the third and final member of the team to arrive. It was obvious the day would not end well for the dastardly Sober Bug.

Alissa looked up from her keyboard and cringed. She sensed that something was very wrong even before the beacon on her wrist lit up. It was from Cyber. This couldn’t be good. She raced downstairs and climbed into her invisible jet shaped like the nose of Lois. With a thundering boom she raced towards the location identified on her communicator. All her senses screamed at her that she must hurry. Whatever the emergency, she felt it was affecting far more than her alone. She arrived quickly and landed in a remote field near a grove of trees. She could spot Bunny’s bright tail amongst the darker shadows in the wooded area and Cybersilly’s glowing red eye. As the three approached one another, the air seemed to crackle with latent power waiting to be unleashed upon any evil doer unlucky enough to stumble upon our daring trio.

Alissa withdrew her holocomp from her utility hat and began pulling up the schematics for the TinyCo headquarters. While she did so, Cybersilly used his x-ray eye to give a detailed report on the enemy location as well as where the innocent civilians were being held. Bunny raced quickly to the nearest coffee shop to acquire fuel for the team as they had depleted much of their resources the night before while engaging in a ritual involving alcohol based beverages. Having formulated the basics of a plan, the mighty trio of heroes stepped into action. Bunnyliscious raced around the building in a blur disabling the security cameras. Cybersilly stealthily decended to the basement where he was able to plug in to the mainframe giving Alissa remote access to the entire structure. Now it was time to put the plan to the test. With Alissa providing directions, Cybersilly and Bunnyliscious split up to attack the menace from multiple fronts. Cybersilly moved cautiously in the direction of the Sober Bug while Bunnyliscious rescued the civilians one by one. She took each to a secure location before returning for the next. She moved like a ray of light through the darkness of space. Only a small breeze giving away the fact that there was any movement at all. Having completed her mission Bunny joined Alissa in guiding Cybersilly to his target. With only one door left between our hero and the villain the light went dark and all noise ceased. What happened to Cybersilly? Did he defeat The Sober Bug? Does Bunny think Txdesertrat has a cute butt? Will TinyCo be able to fix the destruction he caused? Only time will tell my friends, only time will tell.

It’s true. I actually had a young guy ask me if something was wrong with me at an appointment I had because I would stand and remove my hat when a lady would talk to me. My mother would have smacked me down for not being courteous. My boys are being raised to have manners as well. Even the two year old holds the door for his mother and grandmother. It’s really sad to see the youth of today being so disrespectful.

I get the same assert error, I tried installing the game on my Nexus 10 as well but it gives the same error. On my Note 3 it even makes the phone reboot.

Currently unable to access the game – whenever I open it up, get a textbox that can’t be closed saying something about an “Assert error”, with “jni/…/…/lib/griffin/lib/cocos2dx/sprite_nodes/CCSpriteBatchNode.cpp function:addChild line:180.”

I’m having major crash issues. My iPhone 5s won’t load at all and my galaxy tab loads but freezes instantly then I get that alert you posted. Can’t even get in to report a problem.

I did see however before it crashed on my android, the big Stewie robot is now open to buy and you get pesticides. That’s all I’ve seen so far.

I haven’t noticed any update regarding bombs, but since the pesticide boxes were added to the game, my Galaxy SIII crashes when I get into the game, usually at the notification that the pesticide boxes are available. Thank goodness my Kindle Fire HDX is operating normally. I’d hate to have another reason to resent TinyCo.

Ahhhhhhh need help!
Every time I load up my game the game freezes on the splash screen that pops up for either bryan cranston or spray boxes. The animations still work but nothing else.
Most of the time it causes my phone (s4) to restart to exit. Occasionally it says something about an ‘assert error’ And kicks me out of the game.
I tries turning my phone off and on and hard closing the app neither work. I dont want to uninstall as I will loose all progress.
Any advice?

I think the latest updates, which include the “Stewie Mystery Box” is totally borked on Android. At least, on my phone, the game loads up, but then it throws an “Assert Error” and my phone reboots.
I’m going to uninstall and re-install my game in the hopes that the issue will be fixed by this action. But it sounds like some others are running into similar issues.

Just as an update, uninstalling and reinstalling does not repair the issue.
I was able to click “OK” on the error message several times and load up a “fresh” game. But as soon as I reloaded my account, the game immediately started to crash and reboot my phone.

So I have an iPhone 5c I’ve never really had an issue that a lot of people seem to of glitches in so I just downloaded this most recent update that every time I tapped on anything my game crashed I tried closing out the game reopening turning the phone off and back on same issue so I decided to try the delete and reinstall only forward to tell me that the family guy out cannot be downloaded at this time I’m not a very happy camper

I’m also experiencing a glitch that whenever I try to go into something event wise (event calendar, blame counter, comic strip) Consuela pops up and the prompt says:
Cannot find close button

Problem is at work there is no WiFi I’m caught between two signals and they are very weak and disconnect. So at work I use data, at home I use my iPad.

That might be the problem, the extra information that each of those “taps” is trying to load into your game is just too much for the weaker connection.

It is for both…but I do not see anything new…yet. So no worries.
As for moderation…sadly there is those that ruin it for everyone else. The world is full of spammers and trolls and those with no care to post MA content just for a laugh. To protect our readers, our site, and everyone else…ALL comments await moderation.
On top of that, we get a LOT of questions…just like this. If they go live…then they are mixed into over 20,000 other comments, so they usually never get a response. By keeping all in moderation we can review each and every comment and provide the proper answers, redirection, post link, etc.
Short story long…better for ALL this way.
