UPDATE 1230 AM EST: Try to uninstall and resinstall to see if issue is resolved and let us know. Before you do, make sure you were linked to a FB or an email account. If not, you will lose your game. I am trying this now myself. Those of you that did not link your accounts may have to wait for the gamewide fix to hit. They know no one likes having to uninstall.
FYI…the new content is gone for now. No info on its re-release, but I think we all can agree to have them wait to avoid this again. 🙂
If you games still seems a lil…OFF…try a force close or restart of your device to see if that helps to refresh it as well.

So far the updates hitting are resolving the issue of the cars not being able to rotate properly. As for the remaining content…we do not yet see it live in the games. That is not to say it won’t hit all of the sudden (this is actually early for an update than usual times. Lol.)

My GS4 was a bit laggy and spotty in areas (stuff just blocks or cogs) it slowly sped back up to normal and looks all ok now.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. This did not work. I still get the assert error. I occasionally can get in if I let the game load fully including popup. Then slowly start clicking OK on error message sometimes it kisks me sometimes not. Hope this helps.

This really sucks I needed 7 green pesticides and I was about to get then but now that it’s crashed, I probably won’t get to the 7 pesticides and I’ll have to start all over again 😒😭

That error is crashing my phone. I cannot get into the game to do anything. I’m afraid I will not be able to kill giant stewie 5 times to get the car. This error is so frustrating. How can I report it to tinyco if the game crashes before you can do anything ?

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game but then had a glitch when trying to reload my saved game from my google account which ended up over writing my original game that was on level 42. Luckily I also had is saved to faceboook and was able to get my game back. I would advise linking it to multiple places before restarting, so you don’t experience what I did.

I did the uninstalling/reinstalling and it worked but I have a problem :
The Big Stewie went back to 1x at the bar, but it asks for the 8x items, so my question is: if I use the 7 pesticides, will I get the 8x blam or just the 100 even while using 7 pesticides?
Should I just wait for it to restart the clock so that I dont waste 7 pesticides for nothing?

Hmmmmm….good question. Up to you if you want to risk, or allow it to restart. In the meantime alert TinyCo so they know it impacted your game play. Let me know how it goes.

Not sure if anyone else is having problems but I cant access the game. I don’t get any error message just freezes for 5 min and restarts my phone. I cant message tinyco due to the fact the game freezes within 2 sec.

The only thing is the giant mutant stewie steak is still going I think since I need so many sprays but the gauge itself is only at the first multiplyer? Should I contact TC? Or wait to see if it works out? Im on a S4 if that helps any

It is nice to know they are working on this. I have already received one reply from TinyCo. Luckily I could get to the load screen and copy down my ID number to send them. I hope they fix it so it doesn’t interfere with the timed car quest. Good luck to all waiting addicts. 🙂

On a totally unrelated note, I love this site…. anytime I search for ANYTHING about this game, your site is always at the top of the search results, and is always right on top of whatever I need to know! Like with this new error… I was afraid it was just my game, so I did a search and what do u know, bunny had already been on top of it for an hour before I even knew about it. U saw… I’ve also seen that people are having trouble logging back into their accounts after reinstalling, and I just finally unlocked stewie today, I’m not gonna risk it. Sucks to wait it out, but not worth the risk. I would really regret it if I couldn’t get my stuff back. I just hope they give more time to earn the car for defeating giant stewie.

TinyCo had stated to uninstall the game completely and reinstall it in the Facebook group I’m a part of. Soon as I did, it worked perfectly for me on Iphone5. They said that may be a temporary workaround until they can apply some patch or hotfix.

iPhone 5 here (not 5S), and thankfully no big issues yet. Thou the pesticide mystery boxes disappeared. Was gonna buy an orange one too because I’m just not getting orange cides to drop! Ugh.

Reinstalled, still didn’t bring back the pesticide boxes. However did fix the rubble piles in the northwest not displaying properly. Boy, that was nerve wracking. Even thou I had my account linked to FB, I was still afraid of loosing progress, plus the $50 in clams I bought for this event. Thankfully, no losses! Ron and Bryan C still workin away, and Felica progress goin slow. But got all her item buildings still! WHEW!!

OK I’m done with this event.I’ll come back after the event,I don’t see how anyone can be as far as they claim there are unless there spending lots of money,and there is nothing wrong with that.Was doing good good against stewie,but now I can’t get these guys to drop the right pestasides.and was doing good with Ron now no one drops anything to finish unlocking him now I have to try unlocking 2 ppl.Its just redicaless. Problem only seems to be related to my phone. Loaded up the game on my tablet and aside from my tablet being slow, the game plays fine. Anyone with an Android tablet or iPad that saved their account with FaceBook or something should (hopefully) be able to move to the tablet for the time being and work on Giant Mutant Stewie and the celebs.

I have not been able to get on the game since 7pm. Wich means I have missed out on many items needed. I have spent over 80 $ on this game and pay to finish the tasks sooner so I can unlock charactes and get pesticides. I strongly believe that this gane should credit me enough clams to speed up all tasks. Averaging about 130 clams on the low side to catch on on where I would have been

I actually clicked OK on the error over 100 times and then it finally did let me in. This is on a Kindle Fire. My iPhone doesn’t show the error, the game just immediately shuts down.

Out of the +10 times I tried to log in, I saw BRyan CRanston’s “ad” all the time except once, during which I saw Rupert and something about a box with pesticides! Sounded very interesting, until the damn thing crashed again :-#
Though I did something that worked.
The SECOND the game came up, i Swiped my screen and immediately clicked on Giant Stewie. My game usually froze after a swipe or two, but this time it worked. I tried it again and it worked. A glitch to a glitch, maybe? Try it and see if it works.

Yea, I know it will work, but its frustrating. Now it loads, I can see the game screen but the touch screen then doesn’t seem to work so I can’t do anything. I hope they do something for us, some free Blam! or something, to make up for this craziness.

I REALLY hope the error is fixed ASAP. I thought I was on track with my Blam earning but then this error happened and it seems to be across all versions of the app. I downgraded the game since that’s my go-to fix when I upgrade and it stops working but this time I keep getting the crash error. I REALLY hope they’ll extend the timed Giant Stewie and spend $9.99 on clams and get 4000 Blam events or I will be extremely pissed. 😐

Nope. It happened after they added something to my inventory. I have removed and reloaded the game 3 times. Each time it allows me to start as a newbie but when I try and connect with my FB account it gives me the server error.

I think the problem is (if it’s the same one I’m having) that right now it won’t let you sign back in to the old game. It just asks if you want to overwrite the old game when you try. Hopefully it’ll be fixed when the game is back up.

Look closely at the wording. Compare it to the one in the recover account post I linked. It SHOULD say it is taking over and replacing that new Level 1 you had to tap through with your actual game. Let us know.

Good to see I am not alone in having issues. Every time I load the game up it is unresponsive, freezes, then makes my phone restart. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Was set back to level 1 and got like 5 or 6 Assert Errors. Logged back into my Quahog and the same unresponsive, freeze, restart thing happened. Very frustrating.

In coding Assert errors Most often are part of the debug code in an application. It is used to verify that a piece of data is correct at a specific point of execution. If thebtest fails the program execution is halted and the program exits.
Here it looks like some missing sprite (image) data is the cause of the crash.
