Well, we’ve all made it through another “work week” (kinda, sorta, almost) and the weekend looms large up ahead. All week we field your comments about your frustrations in the game (What the event isn’t going to be released on Android for a WEEK?!) and we wanted to give you (and us) a fun new way for you to voice your frustrations and get it all off of your chest.

Here’s my What the Hell?! For this week:
-Just the other day (Monday) my husband and I each put $100 in our games on clams…and then yesterday they announce a deal where you can get 4,000 Blam! when you put clams in your game. What the Hell?! I want my Blam!
-Mutant Stewie….does he attack anything other than the “Q” or the Spa? What the hell?!
-And finally…my laptop decided to take a trip to the Outhouse of Loneliness on me this past weekend. The fan decided it no longer wanted to work…so I had to have a repair shop order the part for me. Took it in on Monday morning…it’s now Friday and I STILL don’t have it back! WHAT THE HELL?!

I am getting more and more annoyed with the pricing policy. I guess my mistake is to compare it to TSTO – which already is not cheap. But TinyCo takes the cake. 500 Clams for a single character? WTH! 150 Clams for buildings which do nothing but drop items temporarily and become useless after a week? WTH! 700 Clams for a Blam-dropping decoration? WTH!

you can sometimes see in the Aura (the bubbles around a new toon) that a task will cost say 45Clams, but if you click into it in detail, it is only 15 clams, not quite WTH but What a Saving. Can’t recall which toon it was now, working on that Felicia toon, I have Rupert n Stewie so what the Deuce? I don’t care.

Many are saying no more fog. I am wondering if it was removed more for memory sake with all the new stuff going on for Giant Stewie. Too much coding.

When I emigrated from the UK, my friends gave me an iTunes card as a farewell gift. I recklessly set my iTunes account for the country where I now live, and am therefore unable to use the iTunes card, because it’s locked to the UK. Bah!

It’s policy. You can’t use gift cards except in the country where they were bought. I can’t change the country on my account, as they can tell I’m not using a UK IP address. While there are ways around that using proxies, I’ve no idea what that side effects I’d get (plus it’s against the terms of the iTunes store.)

I love this game, I wanted to get that out of the way before I got to my what the hell.
My what the hell is a big one for me. I understand TinyCO is new at this, but when my money is involved it should not be an issue. I don’t have any problem with any price point they give their premium items. I see the price, if I want it I buy it, if not I dont.
Where I have a HUGE issue, is when something is change after I buy an item that change how I feel about the item.
Exemple: 7 days ago I bought that building that give you a battery every 12 hours. The cost was 240 clams (around 10$), pretty expensive for a realla ugly building. But at that time there could be 6 stewie at a time in your town, they were spawing every 3 hours or so, an you could zap one for free every 6 hours. Plus they could jam importent building. It was clear that if you wanted to have a chance to control them you would have to spend clams. On the building or on buying battery.
I bought the building, and AFTER the fact they changed the rules for what it is now. Im now swiming in batteries, even minus the 12 or so i got from the building I would still be 7 over with no stewie to zap.
Now im suspicious of TinyCO, I know they dont to it on purpose, but a trusting customer is way more profitable then a suspicious one.

No worries. We understand. It was changed due to many complaints from players that they felt the ONLY way to get batteries was to buy them. So the amount in your town was moved from 6 to 4…however, they still come every 3 hours. That has not changed.

I had the same complaint. I messaged TinyCo and expressed my displeasure with a little note that they wouldn’t be getting any more of my money. Several hours later I got a message apologizing for the issue and they refunded my clams. It’s worth a shot and I give TinyCo bonus points for handling it quickly and professionally.

What grinds my gears is the fact that i have to buy close to 1600 clams, just so i can spend 1100 to get the things that drops items for felicia and blobulous. i mean come on! i shouldn’t have to constantly go out and buy itunes cards. make it easier damn you!!

When I click on the comic-con button on the bottom left, or in general try to claim the lanceawart board game store, the game returns an error along the lines of error, cannot find ‘button_close’. Force-stop or restart and all will be fine, or is it more complicated than that?

I’ve got a list…here goes!
1. I think GIANT mutant stewie is alot like the king butt and shots game. If this is true, is there really any incentive to start using my pesticide now? Besides the quest, shouldn’t I, like in the king butt event, save my pesticide up til the last day and just use it all. I mean to complete the initial quest it just takes 1 so to let it go back to 1x really is no biggie to me.
2. Why the hell don’t other characters gain BLAM! Main characters like Lois and Meg and even Stewie (yes i got him, but he’s basically worthless for the event!) Brian, etc. all are main characters, but have like zero tasks, except maybe 1 to gain BLAM! and it’s usually like a 6 hour task. Not to mention alot of them require other tasks to gain items to get characters. I think minor characters need to gain BLAM!, even if it’s a small amount. Otherwise, whats the point of having them, coins have no purpose atm.
3.It’s Friday and I haven’t received a challenge for the second car! Did I miss it, because I never received a post or anything!?!?
4.THE BIGGEST WTH (OR SHOULD I SAY WTF!?!?) HEISENBERG BEING 500 CLAMS! REALLY??? I’VE WORKED SO HARD TO MAKE 300 CLAMS FREE XACTLY TO GET CONSUELA AND NOW YOU DROP THIS BOMB ON ME! COME ON!
5.As for Ron, I’m doing just fine. Spent zero clams on buildings and literally almost got him. I only need like 2 more of the film reels and records and like 4 dogs and I’ll have him, but with all these new incentives to gain from nerds, I’ll probably start getting the other stuff for Chris’s outfit or Felicia, or even the pesticide. Batteries too. Last night it was really funny, In one round of nerds, I got 3 cupcakes HAHAHA! How’s that for a RARE item lmao!

Hard close your game (app settings, close app) and restart your device. Then try again. If it still doesn’t work for you. Hard close again, clear your cache, uninstall FG, restart your device and download it again (warning only do this if you have your game backed up with an account). If that doesn’t work then contact TinyCo via email. Email address can be found in the post below 🙂

As an android player, I started a week late which means not only was I behind on blam collection before I started, but was a week behind unlocking characters. With the consistent release of new characters, I am consistently behind with item collection. I dealt with it until last night’s update which switched the item that red shirts and the q hotel dropped from items needed for Ron to items needed for felicia instead. If they continue to do this, I will end up with a bunch of half unlocked characters at the end of this. I’m not sure why they don’t just drop either one like character tasks. Argh! What the hell!

a. the small ratio of items to characters to those that have nothing to do, not even earn BLAM! What the Hell? b. the fact not matter how much I think I play it’s still not even to hit the BLAM! count for the day. What the Hell? c. After working a grueling 16 hours on Monday I came home, undressed in the dark and slid onto sandpaper sheets! Hubby took the kiddos to the beach and everyone seems to have disrobed in my bed-shoes and all! What… The… Hell.

Bruce has 4 flippin’ item tasks and Jerome and mort have zero!! I know a lot of other people have complained about the build up of item tasks towards the early level characters, but this is a crazy lopsided difference between 3 of the earliest characters released!

Took the deal for the clams/blam and spent $10 before looking at the fact that Bryan needed 500 clams to get… irked about that but now I’m hoping that either a.) any more premium con characters will stick around after the event (unlikely) or b.) there aren’t any more premium con characters (unlikely). I like the events, but they make getting everything seem so hard sometimes. I’m thinking I may miss out on the second car now because the color of pesticide needed for defeating Stewie hasn’t changed after defeating him twice… I’m debating letting the timer run out just to see if the color changes. Also, I managed to get Ron without spending clams (whew) but Felicia seems like she may be harder to get… and I like her a little better, lol. (yay Geek and Sundry?)
Crossing my fingers that I wind up getting Takei at the end of all this, and who knows, Herbert may get me the 5 blueprints I need to get Stewie by the end too!

I personally would not say there are any more premium characters because if Stan Lee releases on the 14th/15th than Nathan Fillian will release on the 21st/22nd and George Takai is 100,000 Blam that is every one. We have until the 9th of September to get everything so if you are behind you could be able to get every character. maybe that is why they made Bryan 500 clam to not have another character release on the 28th/29th to give the android characters time to get every character.

Soooooo I start playing just after giant Stewie launched and I ended up defeating him 3 or 4 times (I got clickitty clam happy with Peter).
AND THEN when go back in the game last night, the car was available with 5x defeating of Giant Stewie.
What the HELLLLLL?
While I should be only a day from finishing the task, now I have to wait another 9 hours so I can start with lower counts of pesticides.
On another note, I am more than 1/4 of the way to George Takei, so I am happy.

Why is it always the same four non-premium characters that can get items for Comic-Con stuff?
Why are all of the premium items/character so very expensive?
Why are regular Stewie and the Squid Stewies in the same universe?

WTH, tiny co, PStew had a 4 hour task to earn red pesticide in my game (I ran it around 645pm yesterday, 1045pm yesterday, 245am & 645 am…each time I assigned him he had the nifty drop symbol next to the quest but when I went to collect at 1050am, the task list no longer had the symbol (I’m on kindle, still 3 puppies away from Ron if he drops, have a long way for Chris, so is Peter my only earner??? I’ll report this in-game but it makes the car quest even more difficult. (The infographic on how to earn pesticide still shows PSTEW but not in the task listing)
Is anyone else seeing this? I’ll screengrab at 1145am when PStew finishes his 1 hour task

No Patrick should be dropping them. Try hard closing the app and restarting it, something might have glitched out on you. If that doesn’t work definitely send them an in game message about it…it’s a glitch for sure.

I sent an in-game message (and I’ll try the force close/ uninstall reinstall thing) (FWIW, the pattern is 1/3/7/12 and I’m waiting out the timer on the 12 pesticide set)

I did the force close/uninstall/reinstall and on version 1.1.2 (aka the version with green ground instead of forest to the left, the 4 hour task reappeared that earned pesticide for PStew (The earlier tasks were all done on the version with forest tree cover I didn’t think that there was an update between MutantStewie launched and now but…
Lesson learned, always check for new updates. Thanks for the quick response

I really hate collecting sprays in 24 hrs when they don’t give u enough chances only peter and Patrick give out sprays so far ( that are free) and to get 7 yellow ones is impossible without clams to speed up!!

I rly like the game, but you know what really grind my gears?
It’s statistically nearly impossible to get Felicia in this game without spending Clams… the dies…2 12hour quest/building with drop percentage of 10-20%, and then the red shirt guys……
tinyCo just raise the amount of extra rare items and make them cheaper, so people would buy them….
Sure I support such a nice game but this greed for money is really first class…. one character (CB) nearly 15 euro/dollars, and you need this to keep up with everything else… or you buy sth other that will help.
But no chance someone will do all of this… and there is actually no single android player out there that is not struggling with getting stuff to unlock PS, RP or FD so far without spending clams….if you don’t spend money as an android player you fall apart and there is no chance to keep up without spending money….
If this would be an option to make it easier to get the stuff, okay, I would support tinyCo by buying clams… but cause they force it I might just delete it^^ more time for sth else 😉

it’s not just about her, you need her for future quest/tasks and whatsoever. I got stuck with Ron Perlman 7/10 videos and can’t get more…and it is told he also has quests for pesticides…so it just continues
so,
either you try to unluck Ron (Peter quest) the next half week
or focus on 2nd car (pesticides also Peter quest)
or go for Felicia (12 hour Peter task 15 dies)
or focus on Chris’ Costume…also Peter quest….
just do the math, for the 3rd poled character you need PS, RP, FD and Peter/Chris in Costume to unlock in time… without money spent in clams, no chance to do, for all android players… 😦

I’m android and didn’t use clams for any character so far…and I’ve unlocked Ron. My husband as well…just a lot of checking in on the game. We both managed to get him just before Felicia was released.

Maybe I’m just really unlucky then. I still have 13 items needed for Ron. Is that increase the odds of item drops if you haven’t gotten one in a while still in effect? Quagmire hasn’t dropped a damn record in 2 days.

I’m also on Android and I’ve been checking in pretty frequently (averaging more than 2k a day without clams) but I’ve just been really unlucky with the drop rates so I still don’t have Ron. And now that the nerds don’t drop records anymore it’s pretty much hopeless. I haven’t gotten a single record from Quagmire! Also, advertising records as rare when they are really extra rare is pretty frustrating by itself – just pay attention to how the instant unlock clam number goes down as you get items (it goes down by 10 for the puppies and 20 for the records and movies). WTH?!

The drop materials are still there. You may just see items with a lower chance drop more than those with higher.

yeah, Gaussian distribution. While most of the android players didn’t unlock Ron until now and struggling with newer content, some may have unlocked him before FD was released. But that is quite a minor amount of the players… So, a poll would be awesome to see how far android players are compared to the applepeople. This would be really awesome, casue there you would see how the week less affected on the gameplay and is multipliying now by no “compensation”.

It was part of a set of 4 posters with just french insults written on them, some kind of conceptual minimalist art thing, 500 pieces, they are kind of big, so I miss one now. It’s ok really, they cost nothing, it’s just that I have to find something else to put on my wall, and I have to change all of them now 😉 (and I broke the frame moving it also lol)

The vertical line of text in WordPress happens after so many replies back & forth on a single post. Each new reply indents a little further on both the right & the left until nothing left but a vertical line of letters. Helps some to reorient your phone or device horizontally but even then some threads still degrade to the vertical line of text.

For me…it is an issue with the mobile app trying to fit it all on the screen as it is justified over to the right of the screen going down. My fix is to tap on my menu options for my device and force it to the desktop site, or read with the phone long ways to fit more data on the screen.

I’m still annoyed for several reasons that android players started Comic Con a week late. First is because it was a week after actual Comic Con started. Second is because it was days after actual Comic Con ended. Third is for the in-game disadvantage. Because I don’t have that extra week of earning Blam and collecting celebrity drops, I’ve been slightly behind on some of the quests. When Ron Perlman’s flagpole was added to the game, it wasn’t visible to me because I hadn’t gotten far enough into the questline. Now that the pesticide questline has started, I had to decide between starting construction on the training center or saving my Blam for Perlman in hopes of getting the last record and last puppy (which who knows, I might have by now if I were caught up to the questline when Ron was added.) Also, about the record and puppy; when you look at what drops them, you no longer see the Q hotel or red nerds listed. I’m wondering if that means TinyCo removed those drops when they added drops for Blobulous and Felicia.
And I think the time limit on the current vehicle quest is too short, and it encourages breaking the multiplier streak early. Right now I have 2 characters with tasks that generate pesticide, and 8 or 9 batteries, but no latchers to clear. Assuming I let my latchers accumulate at a rate of 1 every 3 hours up to 4, I’ll be able to use the normal 4 hour timer 3 times in 12 hours, and a battery to clear the 4th latcher. Only the characters guarantee a pesticide drop, with Patrick Stewart guaranteeing red, and Peter being able to narrow down to two colors. I’m working on the training center, which should drop pesticide, but that doesn’t finish until later today. Assuming the giant stewie pesticides required match what I get as drops, I should be fine. But if it’s anything like my luck with the King Butt multiplier game, there is the possibility that it could lean on a color I don’t get as a drop as often. This would be much better if the vehicle quest were for 4 days, like the last one was.

Couldn’t agree more. Celebs are starting to pile up. Sure people keep saying you have 30 days to get Ron and Felicia…but T-co keeps using the same characters for everything. The celebs help alleviate this…unless you’re an android user and a week behind. It’s past time they addressed this.
I’m 13hrs into Giant Mutant Stewie, have 12 pesticides but haven’t been able to spray him once because I’m not getting the right colors. So just under 2.5 days for 5 ever more costly sprayings. Seems like the “streak bonus” is hardly a bonus at all, looks more like it’s 1 pesticide/100 blam…if and only if you can get the right colors in the right numbers…

😦 This is sad! I noticed the same thing with my job searches. Thankfully, I have marketing jobs throughout the week. Want something more stable. Seems like employers want un educated people these days. Believed we figured it out though. They feel educated people, will correct their errors. Will stand up for illegal crap they might do. Keep looking and trying, all any of us have these days is hope… Not that fake Obama hope crap. But real hope 🙂

I was having a problem with the game shutting down and was told that there is an update coming to fix the problem. Now, I can’t even get into the game. When I try, it closes out completely. I’ve put money into the game, so I’m disappointed this is happening with no relief in sight.

I missed out on King Butt as I couldn’t get enough stupid idols, and being on Android I’m already a week behind. It’s not as if I’m a casual player either, I’m checking in at least once an hour on these events!

My quagmire also never dropped it in 4+ days of nonstop furry action! I caved and bought the premium building because of FOMR (fear of missing Ron) and paaartly cuz it was a cool-looking building. I honestly think it was a glitch and not just bad luck… If Quagy did his job, wouldn’ta bought it. Makes me grumpy when these games use fear to drive sales!

Just unlocked Ron Perlman no thanks to Quagmire! He’s been on the record task around the clock ever since Ron was released. In that time Quagmire did not drop one record. I also bought the Jazz thingy that dropped records. Otherwise I would never have been able to unlock Ron.

I am honestly getting sick and tired of hearing King Butt’s “Yeah!” Sound. I mean, we bust our butts to unlock him, and that’s all he says! I so hope they update him with a few different phrases!

WTH at some point I must of hit the wrong option after posting in and it alerted me after everyone’s comment last night..my phone almost melted lol (fixed it). WTH They released a ton of new things we can do…need Peter for 3 of em while 90 percent of my characters are twidling their thumbs..WTH The boards in here completely filled with people outraged by Bryan Cranston’s high price…next character will cost just as much because a large amount of people will buy him anyway. WTH getting items from tasks are becoming more and more dependent on clam buildings and less involved with all the characters that we worked our butts off to get or the premium characters that we have bought. WTH Peter is the only character that can earn blam in one minute tasks but has an infinite amount of tasks he is needed for first. WTH that tease for super Joe was cool last week but us Android users really could use something to help us catch up to our Apple friends now…a picture of a pizza doesn’t feed me tinyco!! Lol absolutely!! Just coming up with a strategy for these 3 things (Felicia, Blobulous and Giant Stewie thingy. Will put Giant Stewie thingy off as much as I can until I unlock the other two (thinking I will wait as long as I can to start the car challenge…..also when is the latest I can start on the second car challenge? lol) So because he has less items and is cheaper I am going for Blobulous first and use any characters that have nada to do with him to either get the pesticides for giant Stewie or Felicia items

It starts at part 2 or 3 or 4 (starting in different places for everyone) so just don’t hit stewie and you’ll be good on that. As far as the latest time to start, I don’t know. I think you’re good till the end of the event, but don’t stretch it too far so you get so behind you’ll miss out on the final prize. 🙂

You are Awesome!! since the time for the car doesn’t start until I trigger it I will concentrate on other things for right now..that way I will have the pesticides built up to get the maximum blam bonus off him when I do do it as well as one or two more characters that can collect pesticides as well. I went to sleep needing 2 more plutonium rods with Brian and Lois both on their tasks. And somehow they both finally dropped. So don’t give up! It could be another month, it could be tomorrow. 🙂

My what the hell….a) your website is blocked at my work so I now have to go through 630 comments on my phone. Along the same lines if there is a reply to a reply to a reply, etc it just shows up as a white screen and I can’t read anything. What the hell?! B) a month ago my fiance left his phone at a concert (what the hell?!, right?!) Well yesterday he spilled water on his brand new iPhone and now his speakers don’t work. ITS BEEN A MONTH. What the hell?!?! #teamandroid (I have spilled water on my phone multiple times and it’s still fully functioning…stupid iPhones, and stupid fiance)

And c) where are these supposed batteries that drop?! I have received 3 in a week…Three! And I read on here that they drop for other people everyday. Randoms shouldn’t be THAT random…what the hell?!

All I can say is 20 hours is too long a mission to not have a guaranteed drop. I wasted 40 straight hours sending Quagmire on blue print missions and he didn’t drop it either time. I thought I was going to have Stewie this morning but now I have to wait until tomorrow morning when hopefully John Herbert will drop the last one for me. I have gotten them almost every time from him and hardly ever from Quagmire.

My big What the Hell is directed at TC. Not because their games has a major bug… that happens… but rather because, unless you personally know someone who works there, it seems there’s no effective way to communicate with anyone who knows anything over there. I get that they do a lot of updates and that keeps them very busy. And I appreciate that. But if that commitment results in their complete inability to respond in a timely manner to their users who are having serious issues with the game, they are doing it wrong. I’ve been a freemium player since day one, and it seems every time I start to get tempted to throw some actual money down toward the game, I get a glimpse at the inner working dynamics of the company behind the game. Why would I hand over money to a company for a game that they can’t even make available to all players the way they designed it to be played? Or at the very least, respond to questions in a timely manner when issues arise, if for no other purpose than to say they are aware of the issue and are working on it. Instead, I get to sit in the dark and wonder what is happening while I wait. I think I’m finished waiting. Maybe they’ll get another day to respond to me. After that, take your time on the fix, guys. I’ll have officially stopped caring about a game that is managed by a company that can’t be bothered to care enough to pay attention to its users.

I have a couple WHAT THE HELLS! Why is the time so short for the next car? We had like 4 days last time which was manageable. 3 days to defeat giant stewie is gonna cut it close.
Where did tiny-co get there idea of value for items for this event. Between the blam bar at 700 clams and Bryan Cranston at 500 thats 1200 clams there’s definitely something wrong with how much they want for these specific items.
