Hello There Clammers!
Comic-Con phase 3 has arrived in Quahog! The third phase brings a new celebrity to our towns as well as a Giant Stewie taking over the Convention Center! I know many of you are curious about what’s in store for us in our Tiny Quahogs during the third phase of this event..So with that in mind here’s the full quick walkthrough for phase 3 of the event (phase 1 can be found here and phase 2 can be found here) This covers the quests that popup during the third week of Comic-Con including: Enfant Terrible, Blobulous and Redheaded Rivalry (we’ll cover Bryan Cranston’s questline in a separate post).
So now…let’s get drunk and beat up Peter’s kid shall we?
As always these are structured by questline (Note:Questline is considered the entire task list that is required under a certain title. For example Enfant Terrible Pt. 1, Pt. 2 etc). This should help you keep track of what comes next in each questline & what you’ll need to do. Keep in mind, with this game various quests/tasks can be running at once. You can be in the middle of 1 questline and another questline will start, however the order in which the questlines appear may be different for each game.

I’m working on Felicia day but the part that requires Lois isn’t working the have Lois “write aggressive emails” I’ve done is like 3 times and it’s not regestering . What should I do?

So, is Felicia actually unlocked? Like walking around and doing tasks? If not, she needs to be for it to register as it is more a dual task. They both need to be able to go in order for it to count.

I play the game recently on bluestacks. However i discovered that nothing with an animation appears, such as characters or the clamterprise or disco dance floor. I can stilltouch them and put them on tasksand collect i just cant see them. Someone reccommended “force gpu rendering” but that didnt work. Does anyone know what i should do?

As bluestacks is its own thing, we have absolutely no support or help with it. Sorry. You may have to go through them. Keep in mind, their version of the game differs from the one on the devices it was intended for.

I definitely think they should decrease the number of pesticides needed to keep the 25x streak going. As it stands, it makes much more sense to ignore the 29 pesticide level, let the counter reset while farming up more pesticide, and then start again. Though this timer watching does bring about some interesting mechanics. When you spray giant Stewie, that seems to temporarily disable pesticide drops. Some people have suggested that this increases odds of other drops from latcher stewie. I don’t know if this is true, but if you’re waiting for a timer anyway, you might as well wait for the latchers to accumulate, at least that gives you the opportunity to get rid of batteries. I don’t know why batteries seemed so important earlier, maybe there were fewer sources for them, or the drop rate was worse, but since they changed the maximum number of latchers, I’ve been gaining batteries faster than I can use them.

When i did Enfant Terrible pt. 6, it said to defeat Stewie 4 times but the counter only said 0/3 & I completed this task after 3 defeats, so I guess they meant to write “defeat Stewie 3 times”

It did say to defeat 4 but have 0/3. I just tested it in another game and it now says defeat 3 and matches the 0/3. 😉

Feeling pretty comfortable with the game right now, I’ve got just under 60,000 blam, pesticides seem to be collecting fast enought to beat mutant stewie up to the top multiplier and I just let it go for the 24 hrs and start again, I’ve got through it 3 times now. All tasks finished and all characters so far unlocked. I was lucky enough not to log in during the glitch cuz it was during the night here in Australia so I didn’t lose any time. All in all I think the event is a win, pretty sure freemium players should be able to get the blam for George takei but without the clam buildings I think I’d be stuck on the character unlocks. Thanks again for all the updates, I’ve started logging in to check for glitches before I do anything new :-p

Help! Whenever I get into my game it kicks me out immediately so I can’t give tiny co an in game message and I hate reinstalling. Is there a fix? And thanks even though I’m feel panicked. 😉

Has anyone else not been able to send quagmire to Chase furry tail for the my little furry pt 3?it won’t let me send him to the convention center, I think maybe it’s because giant latcher stewie is now on the con center, can’t seem to find a way around this,I’ve sent a message to tinyco but they not replying, any help?

Sigh. I was loving this event until a few days ago. I still haven’t been able to access my game. Yes, I’m one of the folks who linked the game to an email address or Facebook account – so I’m stuck in a holding pattern while I wait on a patch for iOS. This is beyond frustrating, and I’m wondering if I shouldn’t just give up on the game altogether.
I’ve emailed TinyCo. a couple of times now, with no response (though I suspect they’re crazy busy right now, so that’s hardly a surprise) – I’ve dropped a suggestion on them that they should *require* registration of some sort to start playing the game in the first place. I know it’s my fault that I didn’t do so, but still. It would’ve definitely helped.
At any rate, I continue to bleed event time and fall further behind. In the meantime, however, I have to say thank you to Alissa and Bunny and Cybersilly (yes?) for being unendingly helpful and all kinds of informative and enthusiastic. Right now, that’s almost all that is keeping me from swearing off the game entirely, lol.

You could try using Helium to take a backup of your app data for TQFS. Then uninstall reinstall TQFS and reload app data for tqfs with Helium. Not sure if I had to do this when I switched phones, but the message about replacing a level 1 game scared me. I was able to get my game back through that method. There are videos on YouTube on how to do this for any app.

Awwww sorry you are going through it. This is the reason we pushed many times for people to link accounts. We saw so many sad things happen in the other game we write on to players who invested time and money in there games but never backed it up. It’s the same as my Desktop. I moved and forget to reconnect the External drive. Short story long, I lost a LOT of precious things that were stored on it due to no back up. I back up everything I own now. Some cases 3 or 4 places.
Don’t give up, I know it is frustrating. Hang in there. The fix IS coming. 😉

Long time reader, first time commenter… Anyway, I was wondering about the Giant Stewie/3rd car prize. If I have the 18 pesticides needed to beat Stewie, will it automatically defeat him if I let the 24 hour clock elapse?
I’d like the 2,500 blam, but I want to win all the superhero cars, too. I won’t be able to do it if I defeat Stewie now (I’ve got 3 of the 5 needed), and then get forced to attempt to get 20+ pesticides with less than 24 hrs til the prize clock runs out.
Any input would be great. Thanks!

Well hello first time commenter, so glad you tossed your hat into the ring…lol if you let the timer run down, it won’t automatically defeat Stewie, it will reset the timer to 24 hours and drop your streak back to 1x. This is a good thing right now for you, since you will only need 1 pesticide for your next defeat and then 3 to win your car. Just make sure you have more time left on your “Challenge” timer than your “Giant Stewie” timer. Now don’t be a stranger! We love to hear from you guys. 😉

Got Bryan Cranston, Ron Perlman and Stewie today, not completing enfant terrible quest pt. 2 until I have stocked up on pesticides, currently have ten of each. Finding it really difficult to find any Felica items, and ice cream sundaes. Hope they’d start dropping more soon. Would be really helpful if they made it easier to get these items from Stewie though.

OK I never had a problem until the new update.I can get into the game,but when I tap to to collect my money or on a person to get my stuff,it starts all over,and I have to go back and get the stuff again.

When you say it “starts all over”, do you mean the game crashes and you have to load the game again?

Regarding sundaes, there appears to be a trick that is working to increase your chances. You have to take down the giant stewie & then in the 30-second window when he is gone, zap a latcher. It worked for me on my first try & others have reported success with it. I’m going to give it another try at 3 o’clock when I should have another latcher & free zap ready. As a note, it probably helps if you are done collecting cupcakes & other items that are potential drops from the latcher.

UPDATE, I only assumed that orange pesticide came out as if you click the red yellow “i” before you purchase if you look it says how much money and XP and chance of? Please tell me its still true??

I seen this earlier somewhere but ill say it again keep red hot lois out of the fab building she will get trapped if stewie hops on it but on a better note comic book store drops pesticides so thatz a cool bonus for us that bought it its a trend i hope they continue more bang for your buck and if you got the training montage it drops pesticides to one thing i think would be cool is after your pay blam for a building or decoration you could buy another for coins cause i would like a couple of the cool ones to put out and anyone still on tbe fence of getting bryan i recommend him he is awesome im glad i didnt buy the blam bar and had enough for him instead

Anyone else having connection issues at the moment? I finally got in game, but now Consuela is teasing me 😦 I’ve tried hard closing, and even restarting my iPhone.
Other than that, I wish they’d open District 9 during this event. I just broke 500k last night and have nothing to buy with it, lol. Loving the event either way, and seriously loving this community!

Also I really love your layout, I might rearrange my town to have street all down one side so I can find people. I constantly lose people, especially behind taller buildings.

Where can I see your town? I would like to see it. My town was so neat until this event and now the buildings are all piled together and I removed all but a small section of my roads so I could keep up with the characters. I emailed them and asked them to please add sidewalks or pavement that they don’t walk on..

Yes, it’s a glitch. See if it completes on the 3rd try, if not you’ll have to do the 4.

Hi guys, just a quick update for you if you get the Blam and the ham cup cakes etc don’t worry about the sundaes, I took a chance on getting Blobulous via premium purchase at this point only 100 clams as all celebrities and the fab four collect pesticides needed for giant stewie. (the 10x Blam is very important to me as I haven’t purchased any BLAM trucks or other specials except a couple of goes on the Brian BOT) and it was worth the gamble as blobulous collect them all! As it turned out only Lois is being a cow and not looking for pesticides….(Tiny why) It is also evident you have to fight stewie for the tasks at least 9 or 12 times and maybe more so a good stash is essential. i think the key (not unlike the shots in Full moon event) is patience you have the time it takes the timer to run down, and if you put all your characters on pesticides duty then you can win. The difficult ones are Green, Green ones are very elusive and red if you have Mr Stewart this all he does so set him on task from now till eternity, and don’t forget you have to build Cats and mouses cafe and that gives out orange pesticides, or it should (again tiny why all the extra ham not enough of the bug killers yeah? ) worth a looksy. Just this morning I needed one more kill I had 19 hours left and I was dying to vanquish stewie one more time for the Blaze car but you know in the extra 10 hours out of the 19 I waited, even I have a breaking point..lol I managed to get enough pesticides for the next vanquish, But tempting as it was I havent clicked vanquish as I only have 14 greens and that would mean I would probably need in 24 hours to get 27 or 29 almost impossible. On this subject I am sorry my weekend was manic I cant further help my fellow addicts with what was needed for what banquish, so very sorry. But I hope this little insight helps you cope. Oh and don’t know iif it does a little tip if you want an item from a Nerd go to the costume page first click “get from Nerd” the game takes you to the next available, or you get an amusing no nerds here message, and clicking on them this way always got me cupcakes. worked for other items too?! Shhh just keep it our little secret.

Lois gets lots of blame after you unlock the costume. Otherwise you can send her on quests with others that do earn blam for bonus blam.

Minus the Ham/Sundae glitch, this phase seems to have gone fairly smoothly for me. I even managed to get Stewie unlocked this morning. I’m close to having the Q Hotel unlocked which makes me feel that despite the awful crash/update issues this weekend some people may be able to catch up quickly so they can get Takei, though I’m sure an extra day or two on the event from TinyCo, or free Blam!, would be helpful. Getting Stewie gave me enough clams to get the Diner, so I’m not even going to fight with Peter going for Sundaes now.. I’ll just have him binge drink to get Felicia unlocked faster.
Thank you guys for all the great content and hard work this weekend keeping us informed and up to date during the problems from the update. This is my number one source for info on the game and I love reading the posts!

I only have 1 sundae, which is a problem of it’s own, but I’m getting a bit concerned about the pricing of blam. According to the walkthrough you need to have 10,000 Felicia, 5000 Forrest, 5000 Headquarters, 3000 Blob, and 1000 Cat and Mouse to get through this section. That’s 24,000 Blam, and up to this point total I have only earned 16450. Not to mention next phase will also require another 20k+, so I am really starting to think freemium players are not going to be able to complete all the questlines of this even, especially considering only 4 of the many characters can even earn blam.

i read your comment, im freemium and im at 40k, you just need to check your quahog more frequently. trust me, hitting 100k mark and unlocking all comiccon guests is possible, hope this helps 🙂

Is anybody else still having crash issues..It seems like I need to restart my phone every time I want to go into the game…my entire device also slows down completely every time I play.
Im on Galaxy Nexus and have never had this problem until Comic-Con event. Really frustrating

Mine has been occasionally crashing, but it’s fairly rare. Maybe once or twice a day (and I’m in the game every 2 hrs or so)

I just wish they made use of more than 4 characters in the game for these events. I am also having the sundae issue everyone else is. Oh well

I have a feeling that the reason they keep using the same four characters for quests is because every one of them come in very early in the game and are easily accessible for people new to the game, allowing for more people to play the event even at lower levels. That said, I hope in the future they will work on giving other characters similar tasks to help get things a slight bit faster for players who have been playing for a while, I think they just have to find a way to do that without making the game feel unbalanced/unfair to newer players. Maybe offer a main goal thats easily achieved with the first four characters while offering side/stretch goals (like clams, or premium buildings) that can be achieved with extra amounts of collectibles that could be collected if you have more characters to do more tasks. One can only hope, right?

I feel the same way! I mean I get they’re using the characters we had since the beginning so people who just started can still play too. But like we all worked so hard (especially to get Stewie) and now they just hang around collecting coins… They feel so pointless 😦

I am almost to the Q hotel prize. It says it spawns nerds, anyone know which color shirt and how often they spawn? Also will they drop items or just the event currency? Thx

Anybody else notice that once we collect the fabulous four and comic con characters we receive diamonds?! What’s up with that? New currency? Any ideas guys?

I’m not seeing the diamonds. A few others have reported it…in both my facespace and the popup it shows 25 clams. Are you able to grab a screenshot of it?

Ï “won” 25 diamonds after unlocking Stewie yesterday. So completing all the kids. But i think it’s a glitch cause i can’t see anything about diamonds and i got screwed out of my clams 😦

I saw the same thing and grabbed a screencap or two. I just assumed it was a missing icon issue. Along that same line, when I click on Felicia’s flagpole, it has a box covered in question marks for it’s icon. And even though I’ve unlocked Ron, I still see his picture when I click on the flagpole he was standing in front of.

Thanks, it’s definitely a texture assignment issue. These are sometimes caused when you’re running out of memory on your device. Just make sure no other apps are running in the background when you load your Family Guy game. 🙂

I’m loving the event. Initially balked at price of Cranston but well worth it for pesticide drops to defeat Giant Stewie. Think I might just land George Takei. Best of luck all!!

Sundaes are just not dropping from peter so I gave up and I’m getting them from the latcher stewies. You have a better chance of one dropping when you defeat giant stewie with pesticide. You have to be quick coz he only goes for a minute.

Why is it that most rare and extra rare-parts are with actions that Peter needs to do? This only slows down the event. I need to gather pesticides with him, make him fly under influence to get the jazz records, make him overeat for the sundaes and make him binge drink. I believe there are more characters in this game?

Very true. It’s a common complaint. Send a message to TinyCo about this. The more players that voice their opinions, the better the chance of improvements. 🙂

They are doing it intentionally. This would force people to buy the premium buildings once they get overwhelmed. That’s why I always try to get rid of his tasks first once they release the new items. I try not to need him for the “old stuff” during the following week. At the beginning I was actually pissed at this cause I spam his 1 min task for blam. Now, the blam collection is faster. His 1 min task is not as critical as past few weeks.

Something to try to get the elusive sundaes, this has worked twice in a row for me now.
First, defeat giant mutant stewie with pesticide, then while he is re-spawning zap one of the latcher stewies.
Might just be a fluke but worth trying.

You know why this actually works? It is because while Stewie is respawning, the pesticides disappear as an option. Not sure if it still works with some of the changes that some people are reporting with the latchers not dropping sundaes anymore though.

I don’t know if this was a glitch or error or whatnot, but I got credit for this task by collecting either coin or experience. When it unlocked, I thought it would take me a few hours to get it done, but then I started collecting the stash of coins from my office farm and all of a sudden a window popped up telling me the quest was complete and moved me immediately on to part 6.

Thanks as always, what an event this is, you are blogging up a storm. Loving the madness but concerned that Blobulous isn’t going be lot help if TinyCo don’t address the sundae issue, despite constant Peter Overeating I’ve got nothing, not great as Peter could be surfing the bird in between earning me pesticides, instead I’m wasting 6 hours at a time. Could you maybe ask TinyCo to fix this and maybe add the sundaes to Lois 6 hour blam task? I know they listen to you…… They do don’t they? *starts wring hands nervously*

We have brought it to their attention. But send them an in game message also. The more players that report a lack of sundaes, the quicker they will address the problem. 😉
