But first I’m curious to see your Blam! collecting methods now that the Minions AND Giant Stewie have been released. So which method do you prefer for earning the most Blam!?

It looks like before the introduction of Giant Stewie and Minion Stewies…many of you were just getting past the first 5 prizes and onto the 6th prize. Now it seems, from your comments at least, that you’re all progressing quickly up to 100,000 Blam! and more!
What’s YOUR preferred method to earn Blam!? Are you enjoying Comic Con? How much Blam! do you currently have? Were you amazed at the shift from before the Minions and Giant Stewie to now? Sound off in the comments below, you know we LOVE hearing from you!

Well with 20d and 14hrs left I’ve got my last prize, with these new ways to get blam it’s gotten a lot easier so I wonder of they will introduce new level prizes to aim for.

I am currently at 97,500 and just waiting for a few more pesticides to bomb giant stewie, I’ve had the 25x mutilplier ever since Cranston and have been slowly building up pesticides to defeat stewie once a day the others are collecting items and the others I stick on 24hr tasks to get out the way. Judging my how many freemium players are nearly at 100,000 with so many days to go, wouldn’t surprise me if they made changes for the next event as, as nice as they are I don’t think it would of been there intention, although it’s good that dedicated freemium players are getting the prizes as all this tapping deserves reward 🙂

Currently at 97,500 blam; I only had 20k+ blams early last week! Waiting for the Giant Stewie clock to reset so I can complete another set of vanquishes to get George. I have unlocked all the current free characters and superheroes and earning pesticides has become easier. Bombing Minion Stewies also helped to rack up the Blams.
I have not spent money to buy clams to get premium clam items though Bryan Cranston and upcoming Nathan Fillon looks tempting. 😉
I regret wasting my free clams to rush Peter’s pesticides on Giant Stewie early on as Blam drops were so slow with only about 20k blams in the 2nd week. I missed out on King Butt and Rupert in previous events and didn’t want to miss this. I even set 4 hours alarm clock so I won’t miss out on latcher Stewies.
I am glad the devs gave ample time for players in this event and did not make this a pure pay to win game. 🙂

77496 total Blam! 15596 Blam! on hand. Really confident that I will get GT! Side Note: has anyone else unlocked Blobulous and currently using him however, still showing locked in the store menu?

I had 14000 odd at the Poll, I’m up to 62000 Blam! now.
I’m sending everyone with Bomb tasks to do them, and those with just Pesticide tasks to do those. Other characters are on 12 hour tasks to keep them out of my way. And Tricia continually to her mum.
I’ve unlocked all Charachters/ Costumes available to a freemium player so far (ie not Cranston).
I’m hitting Giant Stewie up to the 15x multiplier, then letting the 24 hours expire, while bombing minions whenever I can.

I have now 43K Blam! total. Can’t wait for Nathan Fillion and New Mutant Stewie! I’m thinking that New Mutant Stewie is Devil-Horned Mutant Stewie

I’m not sure where most of my Blam comes from. With Bryan Cranston dropping a lot of pesticides, I’ve been maxing out the multiplier on giant stewie almost daily (still nothing you can do if they ask for the same color repeatedly) but the minions are nothing to sneeze at. I haven’t rearranged my town, and I don’t bother tapping to group them up, but the most I’ve gotten at once is 13. I feel that fewer batteries drop now, so I’ve been having latchers accumulate lately. I’ll probably have enough blam tomorrow morning to unlock George Takei.
The minion stewies are a bit of a bother though when I’m going around trying to tap buildings, nerds, and characters. I thought it was bad enough when I’d accidentally tap one of the 5 clowns still running around from that circus event.

I’m about to reach 60k blam! I prefer the multiplier aspect of giant stewie but being freemium, i’ll run out of pesticides after few maximum streaks so minions stewie is a great helper when i’m back to lower multipliers. I send characters to collect pesticides only. Bombs are only from nerds and a few characters that can collect bombs only.
I just unlocked Stan Lee and he’s writing comic in the fab 4 hq. All the other quests and tasks are done and I can have a breathing space for the 1st time since the event started, until they come out with new contents that is. Lol!

I just passed 65,000 Blam! and enjoying bombing those little suckers. I truly enjoy this event more than the last. Can’t wait for Nathan Fillon this Friday.

Loving the event so far, got GT last Friday, and now I’m at 142,934 total Blam score, with 80,584 to spend. I’ve already brought one of each building and decoration you can buy using Blam, and I’m sure that as this event progresses more content will be released for us to spend our Blam on. I’d be surprised if they didn’t release a Blam mystery box like they did in Full Moon Event as well.
When it comes to earning Blam I use the hybrid method, and at the moment I have a massive stockpile of items, with 58 batteries, just over 100 of each colour pesticide, and 85 bombs, I don’t see how I’m going to be able to use them all though.

I have 52,829 blam and I only have Stan Lee left to unlock with 5 notebooks and 6 movie cameras needed. He’s all paid for and I only have 2 quests left which are unlock Stan Lee and get robotosaurus. I have 2,029 current blam and am saving for the last three buildings that I don’t already have which are perlmans pets, montage training center and felicias frozen yogurt. Waiting for the next update in the event. I have 20-25 bombs at any given time. Always have way more then I can spend. Too many bombs and not enough stewies to bomb. Lol.

I currently have 52,000 blam. I’m on day 4 of maintaining the 25X multiplier for Giant Stewie, thanks to Mr. Cranston! The Q hotel is lookin nice in my town, next up is the Robuttasaurus. Mr. Takei is just over the horizon…

You get more Blam by letting the 25x multiplier expire after hitting the first one than by keeping it going day after day.

Giant Stewie FTW!
I did crack and buy Bryan Cranston. And the amount of pesticides/blam he’s gotten me is ridiculous. I’m on iOS, and I’ve got about 91,000 blam. I’ll have GT by the weekend, I’m sure.
I do love bombing minion Stewie. But I treat that as a game for fun. I’m sure it’s gotten me a decent amount of blam, but I refuse to rearrange my town to get them. And I think if I didn’t have BC, the minions would be key. So, thanks BC, for letting me bomb mini stewie for my amusment only. Lol.
Hey, TinyCo! Any chance you can come up with a decoration of some sort that we can buy with blam? I loved the orange flowers and the trees and the lotus pond of kingdom of the full moon. I bought as many as I could afford with my very limited butts. The new buildings are awesome, but yeah, something pretty For decorating would be appreciated. IDK. I’m sure they could come up with something.

There are three decorations you can buy right now with blam. Comic-con sign, single spotlight, and the wacking waving tube hero. Maybe they’ll release more later. 🙂

Even though I’m well over 100k and waiting for new content I’m having fun and saving some blam while decorating my town with spotlights etc. Much still to come, at least one more phase, there is two more car challenges, Quagmire’s outfit, Joe’s outfit, and Nathan Fillion. 🙂

It would be cool if they would offer Nathan fillion for some obscenely high amount of blam! Like 100,000-200,000 in actual cost … not just the points as required to get George. It would renew our purpose in collecting Blam! He’ll probably just be a clam purchase, however.

I don’t even care about Blam any more. I’ve got about 150,000 Blam and my George is around level 5. Unless TinyCo adds more decos in the final week costing a lot of Blam, I’m going to be burning up a ton on spotlights and waving men in the last 12 hours. I might end up with a few hundred of each unless you max out your inventory at 99 per item.

I’m had to say something else because I’m frozen out of the event with no end in sight. I’ve not had the opportunity to vanquish Stewie in any of the above mentioned ways, so it guess my preferred method of collecting blam is nerds, quests, and tasks.

Well I just cleared 100,000 today as a mostly freemium player (I did purchase BC). My boyfriend is so jealous that I have George Takei that he has started playing the game for himself today. To that end, does anyone have any good tips for brand new players or link to a page that might have some helpful advice for him?

Giant Stewies! I’m at 125k Blam and counting! 4 more SL cameras and I’m set! I feel really bad for the 10 day 100k Blam rushers. Not only do they not get to ‘really’ enjoy the event, they wasted all those clams! Thousands of clams!!!
I will say that I do NOT regret the sommelier. Stick the party camel and a hot lava tub next to it, and it’s an awesome decoration. Very symbolic of the event.
I do wish they would offer non item dropping premium buildings for less clams or Blam. The trailers by the chairs would be awesome plus the 15+ AWESOME buildings. You can really make a drive in, 50’s scene with cars, movies, diners and the planetarium!

I strongly second the request to make the buildings available for blam without dropping items. I’d really like a few as decoration, but can’t justify spending so many clams. Even if they went down to say 20 clams, that would make them more irresistible.

I got so much Blam I don’t know what to do with it. I got GT yesterday and now have like 120000 Blam. I wish they would give us more prizes since most of us will get and exceed 100000. Still have GT at 100000 but with every one including the free players having an easier time getting Blam there needs to be more prizes like the convention center or something.

I hate the minion Stewies. Before I get yelled at let me just say it is only my opinion. I had to rearrange my town to maximize cluster points and they cause my game to lag. They are frustrating and obnoxious when I accidentally poke them instead of my intended target. I have hit a max of 14 once but that was a fluke for me. I do enjoy blowing them up but will be happy when they are gone.

I think I way behind in this event some how. I only have 25,769 Blam! right now. Not sure how to catch up at this point. I am playing as often as I possible can. The minion Stewies drop blam and nothing else so far. I can not seem to get the right color pesticides either. I am actually rather confused, I can’t figure out what to focus on. The same characters are needed to:collect drops for celebs, collect drops for costumes, collect pesticides and collect bombs. I am finding this event more stressful than fun right now honestly.

What I’ve been doing is a mix of both. Send about half to collect bombs and half for pesticides…I like the hybrid playing. Helps earn the most blam!

What has been working for me is sending characters on pesticide runs only. Checking back frequently to get bombs from blue nerds because you don’t always get bombs from characters but they always drop pesticides! And getting the SL items from nerds and bombing Stewie. Currently only need one notebook and two cameras with this method. And hitting the x25 multiplier daily!

I’ve been having trouble with the Giant Stewie…. On my game all it ever wants is red pesticides I have over fifty Green Pesticides and close to eighty Yellow Pesticides and I can’t use them ever. Is TinyCo’s randomization generator for this messed up or am I just unlucky? It’s given opportunities to use the other two colors 4 total time in the last week and a half….

Let it reset. If the color is not what you want, let the 24 hour clock run out. The colors will then switch.

Up to the 18 cans with the Giant – 5,200 B! daily. Only do the 29 cans if I have over 70 of the required colour. Mr Cranstone is so helpful getting pesticides.
Let the minions reach max (40) before dropping two bombs, need them more for item-drops then the B! now.
GT will be mine within two days 🙂

The Max numbers vary on what District you have unlocked. The details are in my post below.

I have unlocked District 8 so max is 40. They spawn every 10m and seems to come in sets of 8 or 16 so after an hour (50 min) without bombing the max is reached. I discovered, tonight, that they spawn on my 4 square of roads, the only road I have and if Im quick enough I can stop them and take all of them in one blast, the new ones I mean, the others are scattered all over.

Earning Blam! turned out to be much easier than I expected. After struggling to complete the Rupert event I thought buying special items would allow me to keep up with this event. Boy was I wrong – and I regret spending clams on the Sommelier and the Battery Factory which both turned out to be unnecessary. So far the Sommelier has provided about 10,000 Blam! This has not helped since with all the Stewie earning chances I am now sitting at over 145,000 Blam! Also, I bought the Factory before they reduced the spawn rate on captured buildings while also reducing the recharge time for the gun and added tasks that earn batteries or are dropping from other activities. With so few buildings getting captured I am sitting on a large number of batteries that likely won’t be used. I guess it is still better than buying a chance with the prizes and getting stuck with more batteries.
But I still love this event and my only complaint is that I no longer have sounds so I cannot enjoy zapping nerds or even hearing George Takei… I have stored all decorations and left the game open for 15+ minutes for any additional files to load, but I think those dang Stewies are causing the problem.

I love the combination of minion and giant Stewies. I had 29,000 blam last Thursday and now have 73,000. This event has been a major improvement over the full moon event. I thought I didn’t have a chance at amassinng the 100,000 needed for George Takei prior to the update. Now, less than a week later I have full confidence that I will achieve that goal.

Just wanted to say this event is a huge success in my book. Im a kindle player so i had to wait the extra week for the even to start and on top of that i am a freemium player and i was unable to get the phase 4 update when it started so i had to wait 2 days to play it. With all that i am sitting pretty with just over 77000 blam with 20 something more days to go. Im sure i will be able to get GT. 😃

I find that the problem with killing giant Stewie is that it takes so long to get a good stockpile of pesticides, especially because I refuse to spend $20 on Brian Cranston. I like that that minigame was introduced so early in the event though – more earning potential.

Pretty sure I’ll have George Takei by the end of the week the rate I’m going.
90,200 total collected and 27,000 on hand got Stan unlocked this morning.
My method is probably the same as most. Keep the streak until the 29 requirement then let the timer run out. Meanwhile using the tap method to round up as many minions as possible to nail with a bomb. Always have bombs on hand that way.. Tend to clear the town of them tho so gotta let em respawn for a couple hours.

Giant Stewie. The minions are more of an annoyance now that I’ve (to my knowledge) finished every task with them. Trying to click buildings, characters, etc, and accidentally hit minions and get the messages about having to bomb them. I got it, let me be now. 😦

Just hit 100k this afternoon, I was at about 45k the night that they introduced minion stewies… This is a totally different event than two weeks ago, and one that I’m enjoying much more now that I don’t have that seemingly unreachable goal taunting me. Starting out a week late on android, and worse yet seeing the calendar you guys posted saying that we needed to be making over 2.5k blam a day, made this look much more difficult than it is. In this case less information might have actually been better… Or more complete information at least. Anyway, it seems fun and, if anything, has gotten too easy to get massive amounts of blame a day now

I like bombing the minion stewies! They give me the most Blam! Ive gone from 16 (physical) to just shy of 2000 in a little over an hour, with my total being close to 30k. Considering that ive been playing completely freemium i think its going well

Hybrid. Spray Giant Stewie only up to 18 pesticides and then let timer run out and repeat daily. Bomb Minion Stewies hourly until there are less than 5 and repeat. Send everyone on 2 hr pesticide tasks if they have them, if no it send them on 2 hr bomb tasks. If they don’t have those, then utilize the 4 hr tasks that do either one. In the last 36 he’s, I’ve racked up 25,000 Blam!, and that includes sleeping peacefully for 7 hrs.

After Minion Stewie appeared my Blam earning rates finally exceeded 1000 a day, and with dedication and some luck I might be able to actually reach 100000 Blam!
On a side note, I deeply regret buying the 400 clam Blam Truck at the beginning of the event, as 100 every 6 hours back then was a lot more than it is now. Save yourself the trouble future me and future you, don’t buy the currency producing items early on in the event.

I voted hybrid and am on tender hooks at the moment because as I’m just over the 98000 blam mark. So close!
My tip for the tiny stewies is…
I have built a hedge maze around one square of road and keep 3 or 4 bombs ready for them to spawn when I enter the game (max is 15 to one bomb)
Then I use 2/3 bombs one after another while they are still in the maze so it gets them all. then collect the bombs ready for next time.
I usually only have one or 2 running around now (if Iv been a bit slow on watching for the spawn)

I use both methods but I’m still trying to figure out why the minions sometimes walk straight through certain sections of the “maze” I’ve set to for them… I’m using lots of “well trimmed bush” and leaving a space just wide enough for the minions to pass through. (Although Herbert had made his way half way through the maze none of the other characters seem to bother trying to escape!

I don’t really have a preferred method to collect my Blam! I’ll take Blam any way that I can get it. Before the minion stewies showed up I was beginning to freak out because I had some how hit a stopping point and was struggling to unlock Lois. Since the release of the minion stewies I was able to unlock the rest of the prizes and then George Takei last night. I right now am at 105285 blam with 45000 blam just sitting there unused. I hope they come out with more buildings for me to buy with my blam. I did purchase the sommelier station and Bryan Cranston (but that’s only because I really really really wanted them). I only need two notebooks to unlock Stan Lee everyone else and their costumes have been unlocked.
I am enjoying this event way more than the last one and can’t wait to see what Thursday/Friday has in store for us. In the meantime I’ll continue to stock up on my blam and hope that TinyCo gives us something good to spend all this extra blam on.

I was just moving along then Giant Stewie came, then i bought Cranston and “Blam”, i scored mucho grande! Then the Minions came but i have to say that the Giant gives me the most Blam and the Minions i use for items! Now today i am almost caught up with Stan Lee having just 1 notebook and 2 cameras! I got George today!! This event is like 100x better than that Butt!!! 😉

This actually gives me a little hope that it might be able to salvage something out of the event. I’m currently waiting to hear back from TinyCo on what is happening with folks whose event ended prematurely. Frustrating to see so many enjoying an event that is have no access to. Glad everyone is enjoying it, though.
