More details are on the way…just as soon as we go through everything ourselves. But for now…as usual..Felicia will kick things off for phase 5!
Peter will kick off the new Stewie mutation…

New Buildings:
Fillion’s Maid Service- 5,000 Blam! Earns $30, 20xp/4hrs
Quahog Copy Center- 100 Clams Always drops Porno Mags
Foaming Clam Bath and Body Shop- 100 Clams Always drops Lotion
Paper and Stuff- 150 Clams Always drops Calculators
Biggest Change….Stewie has Mutated AGAIN:
Giant Stewie is no longer in Quahog…instead he’s replaced by Demon Stewie. He’ll loom over your Convention Center and you have to attack him, just you Giant Stewie…only this time with Harpoons!
Defeat Demon Stewie with Harpoons:
So at this point pesticides are no longer valid in the game. HOWEVER…TinyCo has provided a FREE pesticide conversion box. Where you can convert pesticides you had to Harpoons.
Conversion Boxes:
At this point pesticides are useless…so you’ll have to convert what you have into Harpoons by using the Conversion box:
(Side note from Bunny: Rupert is Dr Manhattan from Watchmen for those curious. Hence…the box placement. Lol. )
Inside you’ll be able to convert your pesticides to various amounts of Harpoons in the varieties required to beat Stewie:
New Questlines:
Stan and Felicia BOTH got new Questlines AND tasks (We’ll have more on those later). Stan the Man, Stan kicks off, and Feminerd, Felicia Kicks off. (hmmm are they channeling Bunny???)
New Character:
New premium character released…Nathan Fillion. He’ll cost 250 Clams.
He will ALWAYS drop 3 Harpoons with his 4hr task.
New Costume:
Multiplier has been released for Quagmire!
To unlock the Multiplier you’ll have to collect STUFF…here’s what you’ll need:
20 Porno Mags (rare): Earned by: Bomb Minion Stewie OR Make Quagmire Write a Haiku OR Get from the Quahog Copy Center
20 Lotions (rare): Earned By: Clearing Gold Nerds OR Zapping Latcher Stewie OR Make Chris Break the Scale OR Make Jerome be a Superior Athlete OR Get from Fillion’s Maid Service OR Get from Foaming Clam Bath and Body Shop
10 Calculators (extra rate): Earned By: Zap Latcher Stewie OR Make Peter Train in Crazy Drunk Hammer Combat OR Make Peter Swim in Geek Trash OR Make Nathan Fillion Shop for Gadgets OR Get from Paper and Stuff

They gave tricia 2 new tasks also. Nothing to do with the event though. Just got george tekai today and bought nathan fillion. Collection complete just need multiplier. Thank god they made nathan cheaper than bryan. Shelling out another 500 clams would have been painful.

Does anyone know how long I can push off starting this new vehicle challenge without losing my ability to unlock it?
I want to save as many harpoons as I can, got about 30 of each after converting, before launching this mission.
Also loving this update. Like the price on NF. Already picked him up. Got GT awhile ago. Have over 100,000 blam saved up with nothing to spend it on… Would like some more town decorations to spend it on like the flowers or lava fence of the last event.

Do you need to finish DEMON CHILD 1 before the quest for the bike starts?
By any chance, does anyone know what the count for harpoons needed for each boost is? Seems to be 5, 8, …….

I apparently missed the memo that Giant Stewie was disappearing, and I was one away from getting another max collection. The conversion ratio to harpoons hardly makes up for the time I spent harvesting pesticides and working to make sure I kept things at max. So much for using strategy!
So much for using money, too, because I foolishly purchased Bryan Cranston and now he’s realtively useless.
I’m no stranger to these kinds of “games” (it’s really more like gambling), and I’m willing to pay from time to time if there’s value there. But this little switch is pretty bad. Undermining play-to-win and pay-to-win at the same time seems short-sighted.

Bryan now earns 2 Harpoons for his 4 hr quest…that’s better than other characters (they’ll only earn 1). Nathan earns 3.

And I had over 80 pesticides overall and I only have about 45 harpoons, and It costs 5 harpoons to kill the first demon Stewie

Every time I go to harpoon stewie the screen pauses (animation still live but stewie never comes back and screen stays zoomed in waiting for him). Is this a known bug? I haven’t been able to do it once.

Thank you TinyCo for ruining my chance for x25 strike with new quest. Almost collected pesticide required to snap good Blam supply. Instead was given sooooOOOo generous chance to convert them into mediocre amount of new harpoon stuff. It was not even 1:1 but a lottery amount. Pssed me off.

Damn activated that mission from Lois before killing normal mutant for 25x streak, now I need 1500 blam to get Takei.
BTW, now we have new quests and new action, also Tricia has a new action.

Are you kidding with the minion stewies? If there is an update to not allow them to stay still, then AT LEAST update the game so that all the Stewies in the area are killed. Trying to hit them on the run is impossible – hence making them stop in the first place!!!! If they are walking away from where the cloud is they aren’t even affected even in they are covered in pesticide.
By far – most annoying update so far. Is this why they had a poll about how we were earning the most Blam?

They fixed their animation, they’re supposed to stop and will stay stopping 🙂

Probably not for long. Most likely devs are rewriting code, so with next update tinyco can remove (in their view) glitch. And force us to purchase more bombs=more blam, or face the prospect of not getting George Takei.

Have noticed the same, i.e stewie_minions no longer stay still. I guess it’s to prevent us using this method to get more Blam per bomb. I understand its freemium game but that only makes me wanting to spend real money on the game even less.

I refuse to rearrange my entire town & get rid of sidewalks just to “trap” the minions

The tap to freeze has not been disabled, if it’s not working for you hard close and try it again. It should still work 🙂

Uh…weren’t we assured that the pesticides would last until the end of the event? Cause I had about 40 of each of them, and now I only have just under 20 each of TWO of the harpoons, and none of the third, thanks to the terrible exchange rate. And on top of that, you need more harpoons per rung than you did pesticides. Had I known they were going to do this, I would have used all my pesticides first. They better do something to either increase the drop rate of harpoons or make things drop more Blam, cause if I don’t hit 100k because they took the pesticides away when they said the wouldn’t, I’m going to be VERY unhappy.
At the very least they made Nathan Fillion affordable, particularly with all the free clams they’ve been giving out.

Pesticides are still in use…as something you can trade in for harpoons in the Rupert Box. It was the STEWIE’S we said would stay. And…they have. This is still Giant Stewie, new face, but same concept of leveling him up. As in ANY game you play, things will get harder as it progresses.

At the very least, there should have been a better exchange rate. Like I said, I had over 100 pesticides in total and wound up with only about 30-40 harpoons. It feels like I just wasted all my time on the pesticide tasks for the past week and a half.

I can understand that feeling. Let them know. Drop them a note via your game menu. I just know with most games…they will get harder as they progress. So I figured the next one would be harder to achieve.

Mutant stewies no longer spit ink, and cannot be paused, perhaps this makes the game more stable? With over 275 mutants to go, I doubt I’ll get the challenge prize and 25 clams for bombardier part 7.
@ crazietj I thought it was ‘Dr. Manhattan Rupert’ (Watchmen) not ‘Silver Surfer Rupert’ since he is the color blue in my store.

i dont know if anyone else noticed but with this update Tricia Takanawa has more jobs she can do (however none are useful towards the event ATM)

Wow. Just found my town updated when I went in… And, best news of all, with the update came a new and improved Stewie to replace giant stewie and wipe away all 500 of my stored pesticides. Wtf tinyco? I don’t even need any more blam, but that’s still a real shady move. Sure hope they don’t introduce more for us to struggle for even more blam to unlock, after paying 20 bucks for Bryan Cranston I’d be pissed over more than just the principle of it if I don’t get everything. Also shady that Cranston basically has no useful tasks now, this is really making me pretty sour. Looking forward to Nathan filion tho, hopefully they don’t go and charge clams for him too after just making the last clam celebrity into just a regular character.

Bet the task will probably be to kill stewie 5 times in 3 days for the vehicle but I must be honest the multiplier looks hard to get but I hope the vehicle is an easy acuisition like last week’s, good luck fellow clammers!

I know its early but what the hell!!!! I was origanly planing on saving up pesticides and then use them all on the last week but then tiny Co threw awy all 175 of my pesticides to replace them with just under 50 harpons. If I liked this game any less I would quit. Unimpressive, very unimpresive.Whs

The update hast hit my system. Two major changes. The big Stewie has now changed into a flying version of his demon self. Also, the bug sprays are no longer a part of the game.
They have been replaced with 3 different typed of harpoon to attack the flying Stewie monster. But, no need to say I have so many of the sprays and now they are useless. For every 10 you have you can trade them in for a random quantity of the different harpoons. The giant flying Stewie mechanic is the same as the previous one. Only this time the max multiplier for Blam is 30 instead of 25.
Nathan Filion was also released today. For 250 Blam and he has an action that has guaranteed harpoon drops, much like Bryan Cranston with the sprays.
Quagmire’s super hero alter-ego the Multiplier also makes his appearance. It looks like his character requires a bit more than previous characters. Requires 10,000 Blam, 20 Porno Mags, 20 Lotion’s and 10 Calculators. So far I have gotten 1 porno mag off blowing up the small Stewie minions that are still running around town.
Speaking of the small minion Stewies, they have changed them. When you click on them they only pause for a second or two now and they no longer shoot ink. So, when you are blasting them you do not have as much time to click and stop them to collect a bunch before blowing them up.

I can’t believe they took away our stockplie of pesticides!!! I was saving up to hit giant Stewie as many times as possible at once! Wow… It also appears we have lost the ability to stop the minion stewies for long enough to corral them. That is going to make getting the last 100 I need interesting…

And looks like the drop rates for the items required to unlock Multiplier are cranked waaaay down, 30+ minions stewies and not one supposedly Rare porno mag? Also Peter is the only source of extra rare calculators.

WTF!!! What happened to all of my pesticide?!?!?! And how come when I “converted” it, I went from 70+ pesticide to like 20 harpoons??? And why is it that the Stewies are even harder to trap now???? They outrun the gas. I do the tapping method, and I trapped 6, but by the time I gassed, I had one! WTF????

Well you can convert your pesticides into harpoons. Go into the inventory and click one the silver surfer Rupert. The conversation ration don’t pay out all that great though.

It’s a lot harder to bomb the minion stewie’s. Luckily I got all of the bombardier trainings out of the way. Just hope they don’t make it a requirement again to kill off a certain amount in order to get something… Loving this event and the ability to work hard towards prizes. And I see Rupert has made a return! 🙂 🙂 🙂

I had 33 yellow pesticides, 6 red, and 6 green. And when i used the pesticide conversion box, I only got 15 harpoons total :v

1st thing I noticed: the tappigh techinique no longer works as well as it did to get minion stewies together. They appear to be returning to their stroll a bit faster. Haven’t managed to get more than 6 since the update hit.

It’s not for the same item. It’s just like the pesticides. There are three different harpoons. So he has 1 task that drops 2 different kinds, and then another task that drops 2 different kinds. With 1 of the types overlapping on each job.

I kind of want Nathan. hmmm… What to do, What to do??? The real question is if this is the last change for Stewie. If so, Nathan wouldn’t be a bad buy, especially since he’s only 250 clams. Guess I will wait on the details.

SOOOOOOOO pissed they updated to “Demon Stewie” WITHOUT letting us know…I had tons of pesticides stocked and ready to use for max bonus, and now they are just gone. Have to start all over with harpoons…not even a warning?! D*ck move, TinyCo.

You can convert the pesticides to harpoons. Click on the shopping cart and the other Human Rupert.

Wow! Loads in this new update. 1st time poster :-). On a side note, is anyone else Bolbolous Chris costume still showing as locked in the menu, when you have it in the game? Hope it doesn’t disappear when the event ends because the game thinks I don’t have it.
Nice touch that they allowed you to convert your left over chemicals to Harpoons via the new box in the menu. I just snuck in a last defeat of previous Stewie before the update, so didn’t have many left. I got NF because I had Clams sitting round there doing nothing ;-). At least he’s cheaper than Cranston.
Characters now appear to have some new tasks as well. I’ve hit 100,00 Blam now but getting the parts for Multiplier will keep me busy 😉

This is so awesome!!!!!!!!!! Just got Nathan Fillion (been binge watching Firefly for days in anticipation) and Demon Stewie is so deliciously evil that I will miss him when the event ends. So excited for this phase!!! Only 15,600 more clams before I get George Take I, I have no doubt that I will get that done with time to spare and enough blams left over to buy all the decorations that I still want and then some. This has been my favorite event by far! Good job tinyco! BTW thanks for all the tips and stuff Bunny, Alissa & Cybersilly and all other FGTQFS addicts!!!!!!!
