Biggest Change….Stewie has Mutated AGAIN:
Giant Stewie is no longer in Quahog…instead he’s replaced by Demon Stewie. He’ll loom over your Convention Center and you have to attack him, just you Giant Stewie…only this time with Harpoons!
Defeat Demon Stewie with Harpoons:
So at this point pesticides are no longer valid in the game. HOWEVER…TinyCo has provided a FREE pesticide conversion box. Where you can convert pesticides you had to Harpoons.
Conversion Boxes:
At this point pesticides are useless…so you’ll have to convert what you have into Harpoons by using the Conversion box:
(Side note from Bunny: Rupert is Dr Manhattan from Watchmen for those curious. Hence…the box placement. Lol. )
Inside you’ll be able to convert your pesticides to various amounts of Harpoons in the varieties required to beat Stewie:
New Questlines:
Stan and Felicia BOTH got new Questlines AND tasks (We’ll have more on those later). Stan the Man, Stan kicks off, and Feminerd, Felicia Kicks off. (hmmm are they channeling Bunny???)
New Character:
New premium character released…Nathan Fillion. He’ll cost 250 Clams.
He will ALWAYS drop 3 Harpoons with his 4hr task.
New Costume:
Multiplier has been released for Quagmire!

The entire game, tired of trying to keep up with these updates… was working on 24 hr cycles with pesticides, don’t want to switch to harpoons now only to maybe have them switch with something else. I have no idea where I’m at when everything changes so frequently.

do you have a strategy on defeating demon stewie? i don’t want to start the quest until i have a good amount of harpoons. so far i have about 20 of each. what is a good number to collect up to before starting?

Well…it is just under 60 total to run a streak…so if you want to cover ALL possible options…you can strive for at least half if not all of that for each type. You just never know what one it will ask for.

Did you ever get the pop up in the first place telling you about the prize. I wonder if it may have not triggered yet. That…or if you missed it, try restarting your device and check your inventory box. Let us know if that helps.

You should probably go to in game support,the whole thing is a little jacked. When I did it a couple hours ago, the prize notification popped up, then it brought up the inventory (in which there was no prize). Then it locked on the demon stewie letterboxed scene and I had to force close it. Luckily when the game reloaded Cpt. Hammered popped up to let me know I had won the action scene and it was in my inventory. So there are some issues with the programing.

Not sure if anyone else posted this but I got the movie set but getting to the top and having enough to defeat demon Stewie. I did not actually have to defeat him it popped up after I earned the last thing needed to defeat him.

So I’m have a tiny problem 😦
Yesterday, I was killing the big stewie with pesticide right when my phone downloaded the update in the background. Some weird stuff happened, because when the new quest popped to kill the new green stewie it was already completed.
Ever since then I haven’t been able to actually kill the new green stewie. 😦 I get the cutscene like image, hear an explosion, but nothing on my screen happens and it just remains like in the image below until I force quit.
Worst part is, the timer for the bike started already, I guess because I checked out the bike. I was already gonna have a hard time getting 9 kills, but not it seems almost impossible to catch up. 😦
Anyone have any tips on what I should try? Am I safe to delete/reinstall the game if I ‘linked’ my facebook? Sorries for the wall of text. Thank you -very- much in advance!

If you have the game linked to FB or an email, then uninstall reinstall is simple. You just have to tap a lil to log back in. See if it helps. If not, let TinyCo know right away.

Did a re-install, and I had the same problem. Already wrote a message to Tinyco asking for help, and of course, I try it once more and it works perfectly fine. =0 Don’t think I can somehow cancel my ticket to Tinyco, can I?

If the challenge doesn’t start until after you kill Stewie for the first time, does that mean I can wait a few days collecting harpoons, then use them all at once? Or does the challenge expire in 4 days whether you’ve started it or not?

It will start once you defeat the Demon and send Peter to collect his harpoons. It is after that the pop up and timer seemed to kick in.

Is it me or does the harpoon stewie 9 times for the next car seem much harder to achieve than the other ones. Any advice? Save up and stockpile?

My bike challenge hasn’t started and demon stewie streak bonus hasn’t started. Do I have to complete demon stewie part 1 for the streak bonus to begin? I vanquished stewie in that task but captain hammered hasn’t started the second part. The reason I ask is I’m about to reach 30 bonus streak level and don’t want to waste harpoons if I won’t get the set until demon streak bonus begins

Captain Hammered is the last part of it. Seems to trigger just after he collects his Harpoons.

Not always. The bike quest triggered for me after In order:
1. Defeating demon Stewie for the first time
2. Clicking Cpt. Hammer’s exclamation to find out just where he shot himself to lead to the need for new harpoons.
3. Clicking Blobulous’s exclamation to find out just how far he’ll go for a new bike.
All this brought up both the bike timer and Cpt. Hammered’s quest for some harpoons.

I just noticed an interesting glitch. When superheroes are doing actions in Thinga Ma Gadgets, the front window, bushes and door of Quagmire’s house magically appear on the building.

So i have already harpooned stewie 3 times with the 30X bonus and it wont clear off my list. what i am supposed to do now? I dont have enough harpoons left to get it again.

What I meant to say is that I have fraught the mutant Stevie at least 3 times with the 30x streak bonus and I have not won the movie set. What should I do now? Currently I am waiting for the 24 hours to reset so I can start at a lower level and see what happens.

The streak means you go to the top. To 30X. The pop up specified that too. So just keep going up to 15X and 30X. You will see when you hit it, the message you won it will pop up.

Does anyone else get a bug trying to harpoon stewie? First time he disappeared and then the game hung, so I tried again this morning and got a std:bad alloc error?!?! Doesn’t take the harpoons of my total so guess I’ll just keep accumulating them for now 🙂

Still a few bugs here n there. Have you done the usual force close, restart device…or if you have an email or FB linked…uninstall/reinstall? Sometimes just refreshing the game can help.

For days from when the timer pops up in your task bar. Usually after Demon Stewie part 1 and sending Captain Hammered to get harpoons.

Well I didn’t know that zapping Demon Stewie once triggered the 4 day time limit, so I’m now struggling to earn harpoons for the bike. There wasn’t a timer either, which I was going to complain about, but it has since appeared and I seem to have gained a few hours (it says 3d 18h even though I started the quest almost 22 hours ago). Need 7 more zaps…I only have 13/9/11 harpoons. It’s certainly a lot harder to earn them than it was pesticides.

I believe Peter snagging his harpoons triggers the timer. So you may have defeated the Demon, but not finished Captain Hammered part yet.

Got the animated movie set this morning. I got it when I hit 30x streak NOT when I completed it… Is this supposed to be? In other words I only had to go 5x 8x 11x 15x on the harpoons to unlock the set then I still had option to do 20x for the 30 times blam. So this way you only need 39, instead of 59, of each harpoon to be absolutely guaranteed victory even if it’s the same harpoon every time.
Also my town is so overcrowded it’s not even funny. I need more land expansions and a better way to manage characters as I have everyone including GT and it’s so hard to find who I need.
I spent 20 minutes trying to find BC last night…

This even made my wife and I finally become premium players. We’ve both had a lot of fun as freemium, she couldn’t live without Nathan Fillion (50 clams short…) I was 20 clams from getting Cranston, I was holding off in case Fillion was more. No offense to Cranston, but I’m a Browncoat! Dropped my pile of clams on Fillion and bought more for Cranston. I thought up until a week ago I wouldn’t get close to Takei but now it looks like I’ll have him by the end of the weekend. This event is perfect! The timing and such is great.

I know this has been answered, but I just need reassured. I have not defeated the new stewie yet as I’ll be camping this weekend and won’t get to play much. I don’t want to start the four day challenge when I’m not going to be able to play. If I wait to complete daemon child pt. 1 Monday the vehicle quest will still be there?

As far as I can see, it triggers after the initial defeat of the new Demon and sending Captain Hammered on his Harpoon retrieval quest.

Try restarting your device and refreshing your game. If you have an email or FB linked account…even try the uninstall/reinstall if you’d like and log back in to that saved/linked account. Sometimes refreshing a device helps. 😉

I feel like they did not ratio it very well. They said blam was the only currency for this event and what do they have for us yo buy blam with what 6 buildings and 3 decorations I’m easily going to have over 100,000 blam by the end of this event and what am I spending it on a bunch of wavy tube heroes, spotlights, and Comic-Con signs? They need to offer more stuff that can be bought with blam because over 90% of the stuff we can get costs clams and hardly anything with blam.

They have not gone “live” yet. That and the Q as far as the mass spawning. I am wondering what tricks TinyCo has in the works for them. All I know is they haven’t gone into “fully functioning” mode yet.

You need to complete Phase 4 for Phase 5 to Launch. Did you complete all of “Bombs Away” questline?

I sent Stan Lee to take a nap at the Griffin’s house and it caused a load error and crashed the game. Retried several times with the same result and now the game is stuck in a loop and won’t load. A screen with Consuela comes up and it says, “Load Error Config empty for id griffinHouse in BuildingAction”. When I hit OK, it tries to reload and the same thing happens again and again. Anyone else having this problem?

since this new update, my game keeps crashing. i’ve benn trying for half an hour to send chris and lois to their harpoon-getting actions but my game crashes after i tap to send them and when i open the game again i have to send them again, then the game crashes again and this seems to go on forever. what should i do?

Crashing can be memory issue. As in TOO much going on and the device can’t handle it. Few things you can look at, how strong is your WiFi signal? Do you have any other apps running on your device in the background (like music, FB, etc)? Is your memory on your device maxed out or does it have room to allow the app to run smoothly? Have you tried resetting your device to see if it needs to refresh the game? Do you have your game linked to an email or FB account? If so, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app then logging back into that saved account?
Let us know if any of that helps.

i have 6,7 GB free, so i guess memory isn’t a problem. the wifi is fine and i ussualy close any other app when playing. also, i tried uninstalling but nothing changed. i guess i’ll try contacting tiny co

You have to harpoon Devil Stewie AND do Captain Hammered’s gathering harpoons 2 hour action. Then the vehicle quest starts.

The bike quest hasn’t started for me yet either and I’ve already harpooned Giant Stewie 5 times. Now I’m a little worried and have everyone gathering harpoons. I sent TC a message. FWIW, Blobulous still shows up locked under characters, even though I have him unlocked and gathering supplies. Also, human Rupert has made a reappearance under characters, locked. I missed a chance to get him in the last event.

I’ve had the same thing happen I even tried running Chris’s one minute task with the plant in case he had to be non mutant to trigger–I haven’t run Peter’s Fishing for Harpoons task (it was the task right below the defeat demon stewie for the first time which I did about 23 hours ago) (I’ve deleted the app and re download (I had to reset my kindle) I’ll try sending Peter on his 2 hour fishing job tomorrow around 11am eastern to see if that triggers Chris (copying this into an in game message to tiny co right now)

Try this…sometimes when there are a LOT of opened tasks waiting, it prevents another from triggering. See if you have a lot of tasks in you task menu and if so, try clearing up a few. Especially any involving Chris or Peter. See if that helps to trigger it. If not, Let TinyCo know.

For me, I had to finish the demon child part 1 which was harpooning Green Stewie and having Peter doing a 2 hour task. After I finished the bike quest and demon streak bonus popped up.

Have captain hammered fish for harpoons and vanquish demon stewie once. That should kick it off.

With this update none of the minion stewies show any animation. In fact now as I tap them they stop for about 2 seconds and continue running. Is this just me? Should I report to TinyCo?

I still haven’t unlocked Bryan Cranston. I unlocked Nathan Fillion for 250 clams, so I get 3 harpoons after his action. Tinyco should lower Cranston’s price to 150-200 clams. Now that I get 3 harpoons each time after paying 250 clams, why would I pay 500 clams to get 2 harpoons each time? Please lower the price Tinyco!

It pops up usually after you started defeating the new Demon Giant Stewie and sent Captain Hammered on his get harpoons task.

My super heroes are not staying in the Thing a ma gadgets store. When I go to the game, they are wandering around and I don’t get my harpoons. At first I thought maybe it was my error, that I had forgotten to task them, but this has happened 2 more times. Has this happened to anyone else?

I feel like the 4th car is very diffucult to get compared to the others
9 giant stewies in 4 days seems a bit far fetched for a freemium player 😦

I agree. No matter what I do I can’t keep up with the amount of harpoons needed, it always wants the same ones and there just isn’t a way to get the amount needed in the short amount of time. I accidentally set this quest off and I know I’m not going to be able to get it done. Even if I let the timer run down and start over. Sad BC I have gotten everything so far, even Cranston and Nf, oh well.

Does anybody know what kicks off the new Giant Stewie? My game made the transition last night, but not my husbands. I have unlocked everything, but his game still needs some Cameras before unlocking Stan Lee. Is this the holdup? I thought waiting till this morning would be the trick, but still no Mutant Stewie. Thoughts?? TIA

Every time I try to vanquish demon stewie my screen zooms in and does nothing similar to what people are saying about the latcher stewie – im gonna miss out on the bike if u cant vanquish demon stewie
