Hello There Clammers!
Well here we are..4 days into 2015 and hopefully everyone is off to a great start! 2014 was such a great year for us here at Addicts. This site was launched, we helped tons of you navigate your way through your Tiny Quahogs, meet a ton of you at the TinyCo Meet & Greet and gave away a TONS of free stuff! And now we want YOUR help to make 2015 even better!
Here’s the deal….we want to hear from YOU…the most amazing readers on the planet….about what you love about our site, what you hate about it & what you think we could be doing better (or would love to see). Here’s your chance to sound off and let us know exactly how you feel, please don’t hold back. We want to hear it all…the good, the bad & the ugly. Leave us a note in the comments below about what you think. Not comfortable leaving your name? Not a problem, write it up as anonymous. We like your blogs, your help and your humour.
We want less events that take too long to complete. In my opinion I don’t want a very long “comicon” type event because that was a very long and tedious event!
We want to have the characters to take less time doing tasks when they’re needed.
We want to have the items needed to complete tasks to drop more often.
We definitely want more expansion on our lands.

I’m in the “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it” category. You guys do an awesome service for the community, even for those that don’t read the entire post before they comment (lolz). The only thing I would like would be a posting of the dialogue for main questlines, somehow I’ve missed too much of that. Thanks!

You two do a great job balancing content & getting information out in a timely manner. I’ve really liked the contests of late, especially the town display one where readers got to vote. I don’t think you even have to offer the big prizes to get people to participate. Also the polls … It seems like there was a poll about something every Tuesday or so but that has kind of fallen off. Those random polls were kind of fun.
One thing I guess I will mention is regarding walkthroughs. Sometimes it seems like they are posted too late to be of any real benefit to players who advance through the questlines quickly. I’m usually about done with the quests by the time they are posted & when I read it, I think ‘that would have been useful to know 2 days ago.’ I realize you are juggling a lot & it costs clams to speed up tasks to stay ahead so I completely understand delays. It’s especially useful to know to know that kind of information when quests juggle between multiple characters & involve lengthy tasks.
Oh well, like I said I totally respect the work you do with this site & look forward to seeing what 2015 has in store. Cheers.

I vote for no videos. I like reading the posts better.
I like the posts where you explain where things come from.
I would like to see more screen shots of the actual dialoguea in the game for quests.
I wish you could give us advanced notice of stuff…even hours etc. TinyCo should be awesome to you guys and let you reward loyal readers accordingly for all your awesome work.

As for what you girls are doing with the site, I think it’s perfect. You do an awesome job of keeping us all updated as quickly as possible while still simultaneously maintaining a life. What more could we ask for?
So what would I like to see? More of the same! 🙂

I come here when a new event hits to get a feel for what is needed, so quick walkthroughs are the best. Helpful ideas from players are good too…like unlock xxx first then work yyy second, etc. Last, pics of other games would be great. With no space to put all the great bldgs and decos, seeing how others are coping is helpful.
And yes, the personal stuff is nice. Always cool to learn about the folks that help us out so much!

I think you guys are doing a great job for the players, particularly the walkthroughs and helpful tips. I always enjoy hearing what other people are feeling and doing so feel free to mention stuff from your personal life (re your question should you talk more or just shut up about your personal life).
The only suggestion I have is that when you are talking about, say, a timed character or obtaining a character who is interesting but NPC that you highlight the key facts at the beginning of your walkthrough, i.e., Eleanor Snookfest, Timed Character (bold) or Eleanor Snookfest, NPC character can be obtained….etc., etc. Some people (me) have a tendency to read the first sentence, go OMG, I can get so-and-so and hare off to the game, missing important points. Of course, if people don’t read the whole post, that’s their problem and I appreciate that but you did ask for suggestions, just sayin’.
As far as guest writers go, what type of thing would they be contributing? Per You Tube videos, I have mixed feelings; on one hand, they can convey a ton of information and things that are difficult to visualize from written descriptions become clear; on the other, they can be quite time consuming to watch. Oh and I agree with John, Star Wars would be awesome. Anyway, great job and keep up the good work!

I’d like to see you guys merge with family guy tips because at any given time both websites get between 50-100% of what needs to be known and as far as timeliness both websites are neck and neck. If you all could get together I be very happy. One less tab to check in the morning.

I think you both are doing a great job on this site. It has saved me so much time and money waiting for you to post your fantastic walkthroughs. I do like the idea for youtube posts, those could be helpful in actually showing us how to do things instead of trying to explain it in writting. I also like the idea of guest editors, it would bring a new and interesting take on things in the game. I dont think anyone minds hearing about your personal lives, it just shows us that you are human just like us 🙂 I also like the idea of more pictures of other players Quoahogs, it gives me cool ideas for my town. This site is awesome and thank you to both Alissa and Bunny for being so awesom and helping us all out

I love the site. I’d just like it to be easier to find things. For example, I might get a character two weeks after the walk through is posted. I then have trouble finding the walk through. Maybe have the blog posts sorted by event and then by category such as walk through, strategy, where did it come from, etc.

I would love to see people that come here for information, to actually read what the girls have taken their own time to research and post for us. It would also be nice for the “Freemium” players to not expect so much to get the same benefits and things that others pay for. Do you walk into a butcher and see someone paying $50 for a filet then ask for one too, but you don’t want to pay for it?

I think the two of you should quit your jobs (who needs money) and embark on a trip across the country on the back of burros. Keep a journal of your experiences and snail-mail each entry to us. Make it a real olde time experience! In all cerealness though, you two should do whatever you want! You built up these two sites that we all love so you clearly know what you’re doing. I wouldn’t mind a YouTube thing like you did for the TSTO site, I thought it was cool getting to know the voices and non-tiny thumbnail pics of the geniuses/madwomen behind the site. Keep up the awesome work, we love it and are very appreciative!

What I think would be great, is like a section on the website where you can post your town designs and see those of other people. For example right now my town is a mess and i am thinking about nuking it and rebuilding. However i know that this will take me a lot of time and i would love to get some inspiration.
Other than that i have to say i love your website and i visit it daily, keep up the good work! =)

YES a star wars event and the greased up deaf guy! A event where you have to catch him maybe 10-20 times in four days in order to unlock him.

As far as everything you ladies do and put in to running this site/researching files/saving us all literally HUNDREDS of clams by posting info about limited time items/patiently dealing with annoying disgruntled complainers… I think the site is wonderful, and I can’t really think of anything you could be doing better! The only thing I’d like to see (TinyCo) is more tablet support. For Xmas I got my wife the RCA Apollo 8, then went and used my Xmas gift money to get myself the Hisense Sero 8, and to our dismay neither tablet supports the game. But the game is still pretty young, and I’m hopeful about the future! I wish you girls the best for the new year, and hopefully the griping, blog-trolling, bad attitude having humans take a rest for a minute or so. 😉

I like the site as it is.
I really liked the events I had a chance to play, but it would be nice to see some characters and skins from previous events return now and then for a second chance at them.
I also liked how you could trade in your stuff after the Halloween event to get more of the primary currency (I forget what it was–spirit vials?) to get the extra stuff at the end. I wish you could have done the same with the Christmas event. Don’t get me wrong–I am VERY glad I got all of the extras I did with the cookies, but I would have liked a couple more shots at those free clams by trading in those hundreds of extra stockings… 😉
My only other suggestion at this time would be to not set long term event quest tasks (ahem, Christmas Lois, Jesus, Joe, John…) during events while they’re also needed for some other major task (e.g., attacking the yeti).
I enjoy being surprised by the references to the show. I’m very happy they started adding more tasks for the premium characters from earlier events to participate in current ones. Please continue to do that!

This is what happens when people dont reed the post till the end. They dont make the game, they only run the website, and there is a note at the end of the post about how this survey is about the website, not the game.

Thank you both for all that you do. You have incredibly quick turnaround times after new content hits our games. Thank you. In the future, I would like to see more strategy suggestions. I realize a lot of decisions are up to individual preference as far as which premium characters to purchase etc, however, maybe a quick analysis and official recommendation of how useful premium characters may be would be helpful.
Some examples of strategy that I found on here (and would like to see more of) is sending additional characters to battle the yeti before he was completely defeated (posted by you two) and building additional banks to collect items to unlock Jillian (posted by the community). These are great suggestions for strategy that are not just simple preference.
Anyhoo, keep up the great work and I’m excited to see what 2015 holds!

I would like to see the dialogue for the quests in the walkthroughs, particularly the event and premium dialogue, as we don’t always have enough time to finish them. Also, I’d like to see the other info on the site updated, such as the character guides. Also, when we have a major event I would like to see the event page continue to be updated with all of the related links for the entire event. Thank you for all that you do, I really appreciate it, and I’ve been coming here daily since day one.

I’d second all of this, and add a request to lobby for an end to all the bombing quests in the events (I’m sick of rearranging my overcrowded town for them).

Broken clock tower, missing Plutonium, the year Marty Mcfly travels to in the second Back to the Future. I don’t know about you but I smell an event coming with the grand prize being a DeLorean.

I would love to hear more about Alissa, Bunny & Wookie. I would also love to hear details and stories about what goes on behind the scenes in making this site possible. I am amazed at how you are able to juggle work, school, your families and still find time to play often, create helpful posts and manage two addict sites. That takes a lot of work! Personally, I feel that TinyCo should pay you for all of your work and am surprised they haven’t offered to by now! At least, by giving you a monthly allotment of free clams. Are you listening TinyCo? I play the game a lot more as a result of this site. And, I’m sure that is true of a lot of players. In fact, I probably would have deleted the game had I not found this site. You guys make it more feasible to achieve game goals and make it more fun to play. Anyway, so yeah, more about you guys in 2015 and how the heck you do it. And thanks for all you do!!!

I think this site is great too but y does everyone think that these people are doing this for free? So they just like to spend their hard earn money to speed up the game and all those advertising that they put on here is cuz they’re nice and it has nothing to do with money? I think these girls are nice people but come on, making people think u r doing this with u guys get nothing in return is bs. I’d love to have a gig like this, get to play game and getting paid. So stop it with all this doing outta this out of the goodness of ur heart. And it’s a game people, not donating ur liver or anything like that.

Trust me…not enough money is made from this site and the ads to support ourselves. Not to mention the countless dollars we spend on clams each month. And we both have regular full time jobs….you know ones that actually pay the bills. Ask any blogger out there what they make doing this and they’ll tell you…it ain’t much.

I would like to see better attention paid to proper grammar. This sentence above is a good example of what not to do, “This site was launched, we helped tons of you navigate your way through your Tiny Quahogs, meet a ton of you at the TinyCo Meet & Greet and gave away a TONS of free stuff!”
In addition, I wish there was some way to force people to actually read these posts before they make a reply. As an example, three out of the six replies that I’ve read so far in this post have suggestions for the game even though it plainly says not to do that. I’m not sure how you can increase people’s intelligence though.

Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on your viewpoint, both my parents were English teachers at one point so growing up was a stream of constant reminders regarding our mother tongue. Even though my mother was actually German, she was very strict about the proper use of English, so now I have become a grammar nazi… somewhat appropriate I guess lol
I have degrees in Computer Science and Physics but spent much of my early career in Marketing so degrees don’t mean much I find 😀

This site is fine as it is. I’d like the game improved so it doesn’t crash as often, and as I posted on the games official facebook page, I’d like to see a Blue Harvest themed event in the run up to Star Wars 7. Could we lobby TinyCo from this blog?

First, thanks to the people that maintain this site! It’s the best one out there.
Second, thanks to TinyCo for an awesome game.
Instead of rolling out new events constantly, say recycle some of the ones you have, Use them for the in-between new major events. The code is already done, and tested. Also people that were previously doing them would resume from where they left off.
I’m a new player, and I don’t have many of the characters that people that have been playing for ever have. So make a way for players like me and in some cases older players that missed out on completing all of the things necessary to get the special characters unlocked. You could re-cycle them say every 3 months or maybe 6 months.
What they could do is create new costumes for the characters (everyone can get them even if you don’t have the character yet) and release one on a weekly/bi-weekly basis. Just to keep things fresh for older players.
Lots of things can be done 🙂 so I’ll be happy to have a chance to get some of the older NLA Characters that I have missed out on.

I really want to see a dedicated page to finding friends. Or have TinyCo changed ow friends are used maybe similiar to the “Simson’s Tapped Out”.
I would also like to see more screenshot showcases of players “Quahogs”. I would especially like to see the writers of this blog Alissa and Bunny’s Quahog. I have no idea how everyone is keeping there Quahog neat mine is a hot mess with all of the “extra” decorations and not having enough room for everything.

Y’know what? I’ll be honest with you. Posts about your personal lives and things like “What the Hell?” really annoy me. I’d love to be able to go to a site that is 100% focussed on the topic in hand – Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff. There are lots of blogs for Tapped Out, including TSTOTopix, which I love because everyone there is focussed. Unfortunately, there are very few for Family Guy, and so I came to you guys! I love the friendly approach here and the speed that you release the information, but I just wish that it was a little more professional! I hope this doesn’t sound mean but it’s just what I think. And, hey, most people love hearing about your personal lives, but this is just my opinion!

How about a permanent bar on the top left or right with links to sections for each district and characters. For exp. I just got to Vinnie in my Tiny town and now have to collect his items. I don’t even know where to start to look on this site to see what his upcoming missions will be and what is the item I get for unlocking him within 3 days.

I’d like to see a Star Wars themed event. More importantly tho, I’d like to see Tinyco stick to its time tables for updates for certain events. I don’t think there was one upgrade that was anywhere close to on time for the Christmas event, however the whole event ended right on time….

You guys should set up some meet ups in NYC! It would be so cool to meet you guys and fellow players. I’m not usually a Comic Con or game player…but after downloading the game and reading your blog i’m really into this and I’d love to meet others who are too!

As the old saying goes “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” so what you currently have going is great, so I wouldn’t change a thing.
The only addition idea I can think is a ‘guest writer’ of the week-month where someone from anywhere relevant, an Addict, someone from TinyCo, etc, submit an article/gameplay suggestion/tips to share/general thought, with the best one going on the website, as decided by you both. Only drawback I could see is people going ‘Why isn’t mine picked?!’, so that’s the only thing to keep in mind with that.

I think TinyCo has been doing a good job – having a variety of free & pay items, a good variety for those like me who don’t pay any real money, and those addicts who do pay real money.
My only complaint is lately there have been quests/characters that have been impossible to do without spending real money. In the past, usually those addicts could spend real money to help speed up finishing the quest, but normally the quest/character would still be able to unlock without real money items. The true addicts will still pay for those cool items & to speed things up, but leaving the free players without characters is not a good thing in my opinion. As I’ve done with many other free games I use to play, if I feel like there is no point of me playing I will just stop. THIS GAME has not gotten that bad yet, and hopefully it won’t.

I’d like to see a lot less of riding the TinyCo pony. Be real and a little more supportive of what people are saying instead of jumping on TinyCo’s side. We get it. You love tinyco blah blah blah. Just try and see the money grab for what it is and portray it the way it is. Happy new year! 🙂

lol i think we’re pretty balanced in our opinions of TC. They’re good guys but the game has it’s moments that tick us all off.
Also, just because we don’t curse them out etc doesn’t mean we’re not happy with them. Constructive criticism goes a lot further…

Good Morning, Ladies!!! I want to start off by says…This site is AWESOMELY FANTASTIC (sorry for the Yelling), I come here every day,sometimes several times a day.My SIL found this site and told me about it. Seems how I started in late June I was behind a bit. It was so nice knowing I could come here pull up a District and there was all my info that I need. A person could go to a few sites on FB but no REAL info is there!!! You also help with hints of how to achieve something, what to do and what not to do. I don’t think there is too many games that have what you Ladies bring to this game!!! So the only thing I can think is ( going to Yell again), KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

Happy New Year, Bunny, Alissa and Tinyco (since you have their ear) I know one of the people there is Emily, so a special Happy New Year to her *waves* and thanks for all your help and knowledge regarding all things Clammy.
Before I got my Tab 4 I wanted Tinyco to bring this to PC. I’m sure a lot of people still wouldn’t mind seeing it go that direction. BUT, I am quite happy with what I can see, now.
I don’t care that you can’t add people externally. Not a huge issue for me.
What I wouldn’t mind seeing is an ability to send gifts to friends. A couple of my ‘Unenlightened’ cohorts have yet to discover the wellspring of info here and on their FB and Twitter, so it would be nice if I could send them gifts, especially when I have 200000 cookies, Full Moons, Harpoons, vials etc.
Could Tinyco possibly reprise Full Moon event (I finished, daughter didn’t) and Carnival events?
I’d rather play the events again than have to obtain the missing Characters/skins with clams.
Oh and since I am Canadian I am not too concerned about contests and prizes because I know that winners have to go through some sort of FEDERAL chain of events through the CRTC … Broadcasting rules and regs make it a serious PITA for you guys. It was a serious hassle when I was addicted to another game and we couldn’t get the prizes the US were getting even though they were just stinkin pixels.
