During Phase 3 several questlines will popup in order to help you understand the event ahead, and prepare our Tiny Quahogs for travel to the Enterprise! Working your way through these questlines will help you earn more Dilithium Crystals and XP to help you better move through the event, and buy Enterprise items!

Wow, these missions are really impossible. I don’t have Deanna Troi because I miss 8 chocolates; I don’t have Klingon Chris because I still miss 4 dictionairies; can’t clear Borg without miss Troi; etc etc. How can I ever manage this?

To get Klingon Chris quickly use the room swap trick for guaranteed drops. It may slow you down gathering other items for a day or so but it will get Klingon Chris done and you can put him to work.

Long time reader, first time commenting. I have been playing since last summer. I still don’t have Troi so I am stuck. I have 0 chocolate! I sent Chris and Geordie 3 times already, I keep getting cubes. I tried sending Peter, Chris and Geordie one time, still got 2 green cubes. I don’t want to buy the chocolate as I want to save my clams for later in the event. Getting dissapointed…

Don’t send Peter. Keep trying Geordi and the Klingons. It may take a few times, but they yield the most from all the comments we are seeing.

Any chance of them letting us use Patrick Stewart or George Takei to help out with those pesky laser pointers and felecium, which don’t seem to every drop anywhere? It would be cool to have some Star Trek help from Star Trek people.

Ok, just so I have this straight… Because of the horrendous drop rates for energy, I am still only on frame of mind pt 4, and Come to your senses pt. 4. These tasks have to be completed BEFORE I get the Ship without a picard questline? I was able to unlock the bridge, and get to warp core 3…but have not seen the ship without a picard questline start to get any phaser energy because the regular character drop rates are deplorable.

I’ve tried Chris or Peter or Troi and every combination of 2 or all 3. The only thing that lights up are the useless Dilithium Crystals. Only the first Red bar lights up for the Batteries or Skimpy Herbert. ?????? I got 25 Batteries from Bonnie alone so not worried about them, just want Herbert. however, I did manage to get the Romulan Warbird

I’ve tried from 1 up to all 7 characters. Dilithium Crystals where in the Green, Phaser Energy just barely in the Orange. Earpieces 1 Red and Synthesizer Ore had 2 Red. ?????? I got 28 Earpieces form Bruce and Jerome alone. This planet has nothing on it worth using TE for.
I agree with Bunny. The trick to the Phaser Battle is to hit combos.

After all the basics are done, we will look at it again. I am already seeing increases in drops and task/character completions in the comments. Now it is just fine tuning the players styles or combos to get better odds. But we will see how today plays out first. 😉

Increase in drop rates? What a joke. Felicium and Laser Pointers are 25/35 and only the space battle (which unfortunately your combos didn’t help me with) Chris, and Quagmire drop….Tiny Co has ruined this game in a clear cash grab…people still struggling with Deanna and Chris will never catch up. I’m contemplating dropping out completely, which is a shame since it’s my go to time killer

Yeah, when the medical bay opens I think Dr.Crusher needs to give Bonnie a liver transplant. Maybe it could be a task that drops laser pointers.

Any tips on receiving batteries from Cespoolus? I have yet to find a combination that moves the bar beyond a half of a red bubble. I have Chris, Lois, Peter and Deanna all available. Thanks

Two days to go and I havent even unlocked any of the characters let alone started on the quests. This event is a failure. Great in concept, terrible in execution and it all started on day 1 with the tribbles. I seriously recommend TinyCo take a step back and re-think how they go about putting out events. It seems like they arent even testing their game before roll out. I got two people started on this game because of this and they have given up due to it being too frustrating and too slow.

And may you never get better! …in case there is any doubt, this post has been filled with nothing but sarcasm to this point. Congrats on getting Lois. I’m starting to believe I’ll never get Locutus or Lois. Even when I head into the ‘shooting’ minigame, and destroy 3 things at a time, I never get drops for them. So rare drop energy + rare drop item = sad itemless Erik.
Eventually I’ll get the 6 remaining batteries from Bonnie.
But the 19 laser pointers?
or the 15 Felicium?
Not unless something changes with PeterCraft & Phaser Energy.

I just started playing the game a about a month ago. I’ve been messaging TinyCo since March 15 and have yet to receive a response. I got a message yesterday asking if I still needed help, I replied yes… and nothing. So I sent another message this morning (about yet another issue)… and now all of my previous messages have been erased? Is this normal? I’ve never had a company wait so long before responding to messages!

1) I’m missing 3000 dilithium from their earlier promo (buy at least 9.99 in clams and get dilithium free)
2) I accidentally sped up Locutus this morning and wasted 171 clams. Was planning on using those for a premium character.
3) Sometimes my character tasks don’t “stick”… I’ll send them to do something, exit the app.. come back later, and the character will be waiting for a task although I just gave them one. Has set me back a few times while collecting items.
4) My app has been crashing like crazy lately.. minor issue compared to the other three

Outside the speeding up… most of your issues seem memory/connection issues. You can try a few basics to help combat that.
Do not exit your game quickly. Allow it time to properly update and sync before jumping out. To force this, visit Ollie’s before jumping out to force the game to sync your final few tasks you did before exiting.
Check your connection, make sure it is good strong signal
Make sure this is the ONLY app running on your device (I use a program to kill all other apps before starting this one). Multiple apps will just drain the memory more and cause lagging and crashing issues
This is a high impact and activity game. That means there is a LOT going on and will push your device to its limits. To help combat this, store items in your town that you are not using. Especially animated ones as those drain the most memory. Try to keep all Characters not in use on indoor tasks as outdoor ones also drain memory.
I see this happen in this game as well as others.
As far as the Dilithium, contacting them again was a good thing. They are a bit backlogged but you should get a response in 3-5 business days on your issue. Even if its an automated response, make sure you respond back as if you do not the system will assume issue is done and pull you out of the system to make room for others with issues. So if you just messaged them again, give them some time to respond. 😉

Thank you for your very well written response! I also play TSTO and frequently swap between the two without closing either one of them. That may be the source of some of my issues.
I finally got a response from TinyCo. No luck on the clams – I really wish the tribbles were isolated away from premium buying options. My over zealous tribble tapping finally got me in trouble 😦

The not sticking issue may be because you don’t have the required room in the game. You may have it in your inventory. I had this issue sending Peter to the space crapper and it took me a few tries to realize I had swapped out the crapper in those crazy hazy days of room swapping

What’s going on with phaser energy? I had two characters on that task overnight, plus 2 weapons lockers, and the only 1 that dropped a phaser crystal was the Starfleet Academy. So 5 things with a 6 hour run time, and only 1 crystal from a guaranteed drop. How are people that didn’t buy the academy getting any?

I got both weapon lockers and 2 characters getting it around the clock and I get about 5 a day, only need 13 laser pointers and 17 felicium.

I have not won Skimpy Sarong Herbert yet he is not available as an option to win on Cespoolus – the only icon that it shows I have a chance of is the Crystals x15. Again, I have not won Skimpy Sarong Herbert nor is he available as a possible option to win.

As with Mort in the Replicator, or any other Costume, you an only create ONE at a time in Al’s… so while one is in there creating… any others will lock out to avoid a massive glitch (they ran into this during Comic Con event and now have a fail safe built in to prevent it). Once the costume in Al’s is done and you tap the checkmark, all the other Costumes will unlock again… in Mort’s and Herberts case… reappear. No glitch. 😉

My Skimpy Sarong Herbert is gone as an option from Cespoolus as well. I have not won him and he is not in Al Harrington’s to create either. Definitely a new glitch.

NOT a glitch. See my comment you are responding to. It is how it is supposed to be. If they do not shut down (since they’re an auto-create) you would have your game shut down and not be able to get in. It caused a massive game lock out for many players during Comic Con Event. So they made it so there will never be a conflict again in Al’s. So as intended to happen in game play since July 2014. Again…NOT A GLITCH. 😉

Tinyco…why the *insert F word* should i keep buying premium characters when i get no advantage with them whatsoever? Never have i seen a more lacksadazicle event to date. Quinan extra rarely drops scotch tape & drops orange gems at the same rate as the freemium characters. Worf hasn’t been anything special neither. Malcolm in the Middle Dad always dropped item needed as did Fillion. If we spend $$$ we should have an advantage over freemies. I know they read these sometimes so thus why i wrote it here.

Phaser energy drops seem alright, its the chance for laser pointers and to a slightly lesser extent the felicium (because you have 2 chars that suppliment it) that needs to be adjusted.
I need 10 felcium and like 21 laser pointers, and I’ve been ignoring all side quests, have both premium characters, leforge and diannia, and room swapping.
I get perhaps 2 felicium and 1 laser pointer with 9 phase shots (always hitting peter, and 2-4 total items). This morning I got just 1 felicium and 0 laser pointers for the 6 I raised overnight.

Yes, we are all experiencing a shortage of laser pointers (well, except one), as was predicted by many of us from day 1. The bag of coke, um felicium, is also a problem for most. There is always going to be one item that takes longer but TinyCo never seems to get the balance right.

I have found if you hit Peters head it rewards you most times. Easier said than done but a central hit in the face gave me felicium or laser pointers most times. Hit the body of the ship and you only get gems.

I hit the right side of the body and got a laser pointer. Usually, I focus more on making sure I have a few asteroids in the cross hairs along with Petercraft. But I will try to zonk him in the nose next time and see how it goes 😉

I’m having a similar problem- 45 PeterCraft kills and 1 laser pointer and 2 felecium. My Klingon Chris drops the felecium pretty much 70% of the time, but he’s got a lot of side missions. Considering the high number of 24-hr quest tasks, I’ve been ignoring them for the most part, and doing useful stuff instead. Until yesterday, I’d gotten nothing at all from clearing Borg, but then got 3 space groceries in a row today. I totally get that this is a longer event, but they’re really spacing it out with limited options to getting things done, which kind of makes it feel like a chore here and there, and Star Trek TNG is one of my top favorite all time TV shows. I love the new Enterprise area of the game, but I think they’ve got their timing a little off. Fortunately, they’ve been good in past events at figuring it out. Also, in past events they’re not always ready to go with the next phase when it’s supposed to launch, so I get the feeling that having players not be ready at the launch time is a way of avoiding that issue. I’m like 20% through Starfleet level 5 with no hope of making 6 by Thursday evening. Now if they’d only get rid of those **** tribbles, I’d be happy.

Has this happened to anyone else? I haven’t seen any complaints, but my quagmire has been missing for 2 days. I clicked on Locutus to use his mission there, and it just takes me to the edge of the enterprise screen, and if I try to access him though the questline in the main town, it just takes me back to the enterprise…

They sent a patch to prevent it happening any further. Please message them from your game and let them know yours is lost in space already and they should be able to help.

Mine was Mia for at least a day, but I just figured I had messed something up. If I have one true issue it’s that when the game breaks and they know-they should notify, fix and make adjustments (ie if I missed 24 possible drops for a rare- reward me 5 or so pointers). I can’t keep track of what I’ve earned and who is where etc.
other issues are frustrating but not real complaints like this type. I’ve logged several for this event. Most have self resolved but I wonder what I’ve missed out on by not tracking my balances somewhere.

I just got her this am. Think I sent chris 3 times and maybe geordi once. I got very good drops once I earned the blue balls for the trips (I held off until I had earned enough for 4 trips- and they changed drop rates so that benefitted me a lot).

This Event is great, but Clamers complain about the same thing over and over again: stuff dropping too rarely.
Although Clamers complain and Tiny Co seems to listen, the same problem arises for every new update, until enough of us complain.
Guys, Laser Pointers and Felicium are buzz kills.
Been working hard on them, still only half way there.
At least if there was an easier way to collect them from blowing up the Peter Craft?
Also, why do we have so many one day tasks when we need the same characters to work at unlocking stuff?

FYI… it is NOT complaining that gets their attention. It is stats. Facts and stats. Things like our polls. Companies function off of Numbers, not complaints 😉

I play a lot and I’m about halfway to level 7, but I’m not even going to be close to unlocking Locutus (currently 14/35 laser pointers) or Starfleet Lois (currently 11/25 Felicium) when the time comes to upgrade the warp core. They don’t drop often enough from character tasks or phaser battles (not to mention the fact that Chris is needed for the only Felicium task AND to get phaser energy) and phaser energy comes too slowly for me to get enough shots in by the deadline, even if they always dropped.
I’m disappointed that we’re still having balancing problems with this event.

Do what you can. As you can see, this Event is something out of the norm for many players. I was surprised how easily I got the items in the Phaser Battles. I hope it stays that way. There really are no “deadlines” either. Mainly just hit the XP and you move on.

I only have 4 laser pointers in my B game despite Quagmire trying non-stop and phaser battles. In the A game, only 15. I’ve gotten very very little from phaser battles. Felicium is almost as bad. This is the first event that I’ve really had trouble with. I’ve always been ready to move on to the next phase in prior events. Not so this time. I just get further behind.

Glitch alert!! I’ve just finished unlocking star fleet Lois and I keep getting the following error whenever I press the freakin sweet button:
Error – Trying to transfer a character that doesn’t exist.

Thank you guys for the post, it’ll help me a lot. Troi’s chocolate addiction set me far behind in this event. I just unlocked her yesterday, so I’m trying to catch up with her questline. It seems I have a lot of work to do, so I am not allowed to sleep until all questlines are up to date (any help from TC shall be greatly appreciated).

The quest lines have taken a back seat this week to keep everyone on phaser energy duty. These laser pointers and baggies of Felicium are elusive as heck. Can’t seem to progress in this event have only just reached level 4 despite checking in every few hours. I can’t understand how it’s become so unbalanced after xmas event worked so well. Still I’ll keep chipping away at it until it ends as it’s only a game and is fun to play as a little time filler. Excellent work on the site it’s always a first reference point before pressing anything.

Ha! IMHO christmas without premium characters wasn’t easier. The fights against Yeti had to be timed well before he reset and get enough snowballs to unlock the things (especially Jesus :)). Well it did not depend so heavily on drop rates, so it was more predictable. I also have to say that the premium characters were probably overpowered, they gave an extra opportunity to fight, more damage and I think they needed less time. So premium player had Jesus unlocked probably after the first few weeks, where I needed until new year, if I remember it well. Still it was fun and challenging until the last minutes for me!
This time premium characters only give another opportunity of drops at the same rate, nothing more. So it is going for all in a slower pace and the content lasts longer than 3 days each phase. And still they are not artificially blowing the content up, I think the content is great and much more than other games are offering.
People are often complaining about that there is nothing to do, now there is so much to do and it’s wrecking their nerves and start worrying about the future content. Well, they shouldn’t worry, on the one side TinyCo has been generous so many times, or admitted a failure and changed it. On the other side, since they stated so many times everything is working as intended, they have plan for this event, if they believe it or not.
I wonder what is the higher stress factor: A low drop rate, or a slower pace in a event. I mean, are people more happy with constant drops but consequently higher amount of stuff to collect (see Yeti fight), or very rare drops and less amount (this event).

I just now unlocked the purple chick..just now..I sent only chris and the black guy with the glasses on his face…on the away missions..took me 4 times and just now unlocked her…progress has been made..it is what it is..

I unlocked the bridge before I unlocked Troi. Doesn’t seem that the “ship without picard” quest ever started for me because the 2nd part of the quest you need Troi for so it should be in my list and it’s not. any ideas?

Thanks for the info. Been pretty much ignoring the quest at the moment to do other stuff. That being said I am only 1 felicium away from getting Starlet Lois and 6 laser pointers away from Locutus. Hoping to be done both today. Then need to get Skimpy Sarong Herbert and Bat’leth Battle Arena. Can’t wait to see what next week brings on top of Vulcan Quagmire, Beverly Crusher and Sick Bay.

Bunny what will happen to tasks on the enterprise for example rikers task think deeply will not be a problem but playing poker on an elevator will go away since its on the enterprise will they give us an elevator will we get it spread across different buildings what will happen will troi be forced to shop for clothes the rest of her days?

I still have not gotten the quest A ship without Picard. What opens it? I have been on stage 3 since it began and this story line has not popped up.

Well I guess it looks like that Locutus is a alt for Picard after all and not a different character (like Patrick Stewart is), they just released them in reverse order which is something I don’t think Tinyco has ever done before. It will be interesting to see how this event turns out and what other surprises Tinyco has up their sleeves.

You mean that Locutus IS a Character. 😉 And until Picard is released, we will have to wait and see what happens. There is no way to know how or if Picard is gonna play into it. Maybe Locutus will turn into Picard. Maybe Picard will be a Costume for Patrick. Until it happens and goes live, that’s just speculation. 😉

Lol. I see the silhouette of Picard next to Locutus on his Facespace page and all of his comments on Facespace are Picard’s words and not Locutus. So it tells me that they released Locutus first as part of the story and that Picard is going to be the final storyline unlock prize. So it is not speculation it is what I see that is already in the game with the silhouette, just like for Vulcan Quagmire and Talosian Stewie. 😉

Phase 3 is less frustrating than Phase 2. Though I still feel I won’t get Locutus (laser pointers) or Starfleet Lois (felicium) before the next Phase unlocks. I only reached Starfleet Level 5 this morning, and I’ll be grinding Starfleet Peter’s 1-hour task because that seems like it’s the biggest XP payoff. Are there any other ways to really bank XP before the next phase?

I agree with this comment exactly. Not as bad as Phase 2 (actually quite enjoying it!), but I am only half way to level 6 and halfway through the felicium and laser pointers. Drop rate is ok, but you need so many!

The romulan ale bar also drops 800 xp at first too, but it’s also a building and cost less materials than the casket launcher. I felt better spending a varied amount of materials than 10 cubes and an extra building will help more in the long run. I bought two which brought me up to level six.

Then they changed the XP on it as it did NOT drop 800 XP on the Bar before when built. Only the Casket did.

Just tested it again. Bar only drops 200 XP, but a good boost to XP as well.

At least for the duct tape the room swapping method works pretty well since it is extra rare. Just keep rebuilding rikers and you’ll get all ten shortly. Laser pointers are another issue

I find this quest line poor. it takes forever to get things to unlock characters. You get quest that don’t get you things. But you have to do them to complete the story line and unlock more stuff you can’t get. They should make this quest line longer, it’s end on april 30th, give it to more months at this rate…

Just try to swap the rikers room as it takes 8 hours to build therefore you cab get 3-6 tapes in a day.

I was on A Ship Without Pickard pt.7 and Lois to the Bridge pt.1 when it appeared. All the rest quests were done.

I’ve still only got 4 chocolate bars for Deanna Troi. The drop rates for both them and the transporter energy needed to get them have been abysmal, and nearly every questline I have left now requires Deanna to progress. This has been the most frustrating event so far.

I have 4 as well, after only sending Chris and Geordi the 3 times, hoping to do a 4th time tonight, kinda holding off on everything and doing stuff on the main questline that opened up for me, since I know I can advance in that. Might have all the chocolate bars by next week..hopefully. Definitely been quite the struggle.. As for transporter energy, the only way I have recieved more than 2 a day is to play all day, but can’t do that at work. Good luck!

I honestly think, for the first time ever, that TinyCo made a mistake. The laser pointers and felicium to unlock picard and lois are too many for the drop rate. Even more for picard, that is the necessary for the main questline. People usually complain a lot with no reason, but I use a lot of timers to never have any char idle, they are all going for the phaser energy or the item needed itself, and I’m half away from both new characters.
I’m a little disapointted with TinyCo. They kindda corrected mistakes at drops and amount of itens needed before when it was not needed, and this time when it is obviously in need of correction, they are mute.
Also, the phaser energy drop rate seem to me that has been lowered a lot since monday.
I played a lot of other games before, and every time the producers get too greedy, they usually lose control of the game. Hoping that TinyCo realize that before it is too late.

Also, tried all the combos to get the new outfit for hebert, and it’s really outrageous the chance to get him. I’m about to give up on him ’til the next phase.

For me… it was singular Characters that got the items. Not combos. And tried the Phaser Battles again today, still same kind of results as those in my post. Still a lot of items dropping out.

I am doing phaser battles just like you did, and lesser than 50% drop rate.
At trying to get hebert, I’m trying with one character only. Yesterday was chris x8 and troi x8. Today I tried Peter x10. Not even half of them gave the 15 crystals, that was an OK chance. Frustrating, really 😦

I have to agree, the laser pointer drop rate is terrible and with only one character that can get them. The part battle is impossible to get them on. Truly the first time I’ve been disappointed, it’ll probably be another week at this point to get enough laser pointers since I’m not quite half way yet. Also I feel freemium players pain cause I feel like buying worf helped greatly in getting chocolates for troi. I really enjoyed this event but it some parts have been pretty difficult.

Yea I read that. To be honest it doesn’t seem to increase the drop rate for those items. The felicium has an ok drop rate regardless of combos. Laser pointers I think I’ve gotten maybe three from it and I’m always getting some sort of combo. To honest tho the phaser battle is very time consuming it can take a couple minutes before getting a good shot at a combo and not have a guaranteed drop. I had eight tried saved up last night and only got 3 feliciums.

Thanks for the post Alissa. Those laser pointers and felicium bags are hard to get. Cant unlock Locutus and Lois until the next update. Spent 200 clams for extra Room and for starfleet academy (to get phaser energy), but it will take forever… Wont buy more in this event.
