The ALWAYS drops on the Normal PeterCraft are not playing nice with those on Warp Core 4 (because that big fat meany head Shielded one wants to take all the glory… psssh), so please hang in there. SAVE YOUR PHASER ENERGY! Will Update with the fix when it is ready. 😉

Hey there Tribblemakers!
So a new 24 timed Character option has hit the game along with a new Premium Character and several Item Drop Changes…
More to come, but here are some basics.
First off, make sure you have the LATEST App Market Version of the game. Some of these changes may require you to restart your device to get them to go into “action”.
When you first go in the game, Peter will trigger a pop up for the New Character Costume for Klingon Meg Requirements. Just tap on the ! above Peter to get started.
If you already bought any of the Characters, like I did, they will be automatically checked off for you in the game. You essentially have 24hrs to buy all 3 Premium Characters to get Klingon Meg’s Costume for Free. 
Once you get them all within the allotted time, you will get a pop up from Peter completing the task and awarding Klingon Meg. 
You will then be taken to Al’s where it will take 10 mins to create her. (Side note: Remember, only ONE Costume can be created at a time. Due to this ALL other Costumes will lock out/disappear until you tap the check mark and complete the creation. So while you create Klingon Meg, Costumes like Mort and Herbert’s will disappear until you are done. )
More details separately, but here are some basics on the Premium Characters…
FOR THOSE THAT DO NOT HAVE MEG UNLOCKED IN YOUR GAME YET, THIS COSTUME WILL BE STORED IN “LIMBO” UNTIL YOU UNLOCK HER. IN CASE YOU WANT IT 🙂
FREE w/3 Below- Klingon Meg: Comes with questline (Forhead for Days), Comes with 6 tasks, 2 Visual tasks, No drops as of yet but can be used in Transporter Missions.
260 Clams- Worf: Comes with questline (Bat’Leth Out Of Hell), Voice by Actor, Comes with 7 tasks, 3 Visual tasks, 1 Always drop Transporter Energy
200 Clams- Guinan: Comes with questline (Guinan’s Guide to the Galaxy), Voiced by Actress, Comes with 5 tasks, 2 Visual tasks, 1 Always drop Phaser Energy
200 Clams- Q: Comes with questline (Q! That’s Who!), Voiced by Actor, Comes with 7 tasks, 3 Visual tasks, 1 task to drop Space Condoms, 1 Task to Clear Red Shirts, Roams Enterprise
I am waiting on verification, for those that do NOT have Meg if it will store in limbo as in the past. Will update with details once I get them.
Remember… SHE IS TIMED! Once you trigger the pop up you only have 24 hrs to make the decision, so choose wisely. Is it worth it to you?

Phaser Energy has Higher Probability for drops
Guinan Fire Her Fun is now ALWAYS Phaser Energy
Worf Eat Rokeg Blood Pie is now ALWAYS Transporter Energy
Bonnie Abuse Jacuzzi Jets is now CHANCE Chocolate
Space Condoms now ALWAYS from Shielded PeterCraft
Transporter Energy now drops MORE often (Non Premium Characters)
Felicium & Laser Pointers now ALWAYS drops from the Regular PeterCraft (We know the game says different and I already messaged TinyCo on this one. So wait before using your Phaser Energy) SEE TOP OF POST ON THIS ONE!
There you have it. TinyCo adding new things to the mix as the game progresses to help their Players and new changes that address concerns. What do you think of the new changes? Did you get all the Premiums? What do think of Q and his tasks? How about Klingon… SHUT UP MEG!!!

7 hits on regular Petercraft between the 2 games: 0 laser pointers, 1 felicium, plus small amount dilithium and XP. I got Q/Meg so I know changes hit, but not seeing it in phaser battle.

And I thought I’d just had a run of great luck! I knew TinyCo would correct the balance issues in the end, but I was worried by how long it was taking.
I also feel a lot better about having got Worf and Guinan – their drops had been less frequent for me than the free characters, so it was feeling like I’d been let down compared to previous premium characters.

Yeah, definitely hold off on shooting PeterCraft for laser pointers. I was all excited and moved to quick I guess. I just wasted 4 more phaser energy, got nothing again just like before 😦

Well just shot a Petercraft to get one of last 3 feliciums I need and nothing. Just crystals and xp. As for the space condoms, I don’t think these changes go far enough in helping freemiums because of the insanely high number needed.

Out of 6 straight shots to regular Peter ship I only got one felicium. So I guess the drop rate didn’t change for me.

Happy, happy, joy, joy. I accidentally got Meg….well not accidentally, just before I was informed she was available (to bad I had already tasked her in Quahog). I am so happy the premiums are now Always drops. Though the laser pointers were a few hours late for me. I needed 4 this morning got one first thing and the rest from Quagmire with the last just before I got to Enterprise just now. But at least it will speed up the others who are trailing.

Great update on the drops, I wasn’t too fussed that it wasn’t an ALWAYS drop on the regular ship but when you have to use 2 energy on the shielded version that was a mistake by TinyCo but very pleased they have quickly fixed it.

It looks like they took Klingon Meg off the requirements for the 25 clam completion of the family prize. So if perople don’t wanna pay to get her they can still earn the prize.

Is klingon meg going to be offered later? The exclusive sounds like an opportumity to get her for free but sounds like they may offer her for work or clams later. As she’s on the griffin list for work characters, wouldn’t make sense to make her a clams purchase To complete the list with a clams reward? Kinda need an answer cause I didn’t want Guinan but wanted klingon meg and q. Also, where’d worf’s facespace go?

Sounds like a vast improvement although before reading this I just used up all my phaser energy destroying the regular PeterCraft seven times without any drops, so doesn’t seem to be in effect yet. Hope to see an improvement in six hours time once I’ve collected some more energy.

Aaaargh! I didn’t want to get Guinan, but I DO want Q and Meg. That’s going to be 700 clams dropped for this event alone so far and with another room yet to be opened with its energy yet to be announced. Should we assume that the holodeck level will come with yet another premium character to get the fourth energy? This event is really making a money grab. I love it and hate it all at the same time. I guess this is what we get for the licensing they had to pay to use Star Trek. AAAARGH KHAAAAAN!

The Herbert costume dropped out of my planet trip and I’m about 99% I didn’t get him. Was that limited time? Such a bummer if so, I normally don’t miss that kind of thing but just now unlocked Louis. I’ve sent everyone else possible on that trip about 20 times with no luck.

Make sure you’re not currently building Klingon Meg or Starfleet Lois at Al Harrington’s. This will cause Skimpy Herbert to disappear, as noted in the blog post. I have already built Meg, and have yet to unlock Lois, so Herbert still appears for me at last check (just now).

Hmmm, is Klingon Meg worth 600+ clams? Tough decision as I would need to buy Quinan (have Starfleet Academy for phaser drops) and that would leave me with a mere 86 premium currency for remainder of event. Decisions, decisions…

I didn’t particularly want Guinan, but since Q was even more of a no-brainer than Worf, getting Guinan *and* Klingon Meg for 200 clams was a pretty good deal. If nothing else, I should be getting more SFXP and dilithium than before, which I certainly need. As for the changes, I’d have liked if they’d upped the drop rate of Batteries as well, but I seem to be in the minority of having that as a problem (likely due to not accessing it often enough), so no biggie.
I have noticed problems entering the game since this week’s primary update. It force closes during the initial load. Sometimes I have to try to load it several times. Anyone else having this problem, or is it just my phone? About time to get a new one anyway, so that’s certainly possible…

I loved this event. Thought it was the best one yet. But they tricked us. They put klingon Meg with the rest of the trekkie family. They made it seem like she’d be free. And then they took it away. That’s total bullcrap. This is the only time I’ve ever been mad at the game really. I’ve been slightly angered, but never enough to complain. But I was so looking forward to having her and they crushed me. It’s bad enough she’s premium, but I’d have to spend 620 clams just to get her. I know this maybe should be on WTD but whatever. I still think it’s a great event, but this is horrible.

As we keep saying and have said throughout the event as well as life of this game. Until it goes live ANYTHING can change. Do not focus on the “placeholders”. They are only there for just that… to hold the Characters place. It can and will change. This change makes it so Freemium players do NOT have to get her to collect the bonus too. Seems a win win to me.
Take a look throughout history of the game. The place holder icons change… all the time. Sorry. 😉

Looks like the Quagmire conundrum hasn’t been solved so much as stretched, as making it ALWAYS for the shielded craft is still two shots (although the increased Laser Energy could balance that out), and a third option for condoms was added…..aaaand it’s also a premium character (although, dang it, my FAVE of all time!!).
I did notice that Klingon Meg was part of the set of 5 Trekkie Griffins that got you bonus clams (in the Facepage thingy), and now she has been removed so you only need the four Griffins (making that much fairer).
I just tested the whole Laser Pointer thing from the normal PCraft, and on four shots, only the two that struck ONLY the P Craft gave me a Laser Pointer…the two that struck the PCraft AND an asteroid did not.

And after that massive grind to get Starfleet Lois and Locutus unlocked (a day late but done nonetheless). Oh well, this is good, I may have used more energy than I would need to if I had waited until now, but now more other players can progress.
