Hey there Tribblemakers!
Bouncing by really quick to let you know there will be a lil delay on the New Warp Core Level 5. There is not really a way to change the timer clock in the game, so we wanted to get the word out in advance. So what to do while we wait? 
You can prepare your game for the New items. If you are not quite there yet, no worries. It doesn’t hurt to wait just a bit. See how everything plays out before jumping into it all.
Send Characters on short 1-2 hr tasks to earn Energy if possible (Transporter/ Life/ Phaser). This will also keep the Main Characters available for when it does arrive.
Make sure you have the correct Level of Starfleet XP (8) & Life Support Energy (80). 
For now hang tight. We will post as soon as we see it go live and have the basic rundown you are used to.

Did they change the drop rate of space condoms from the phaser game? I destroyed 2 shielded petercrafts and no space condoms dropped. Has always dropped until now.

Update is up and looks fun!
But save your phasers…petercraft is no longer an automatic condom drop. 😕 the shop now claims they come from Warbirds, but that’s not true. I got about 1 in 5 from heavy Petercraft before I stopped waiting ammo. Hopefully just a minor glitch that will be fixed.

So condoms have been nerfed! Hydro spray room now has to share with something else! I called this in a previous post. Thank you for making it impossible and now gives me all the time for the Simpsons new thing.

Hello! With the update looming on us I was just curious if there is anything like a calendar made up for this event to tell us how far we should be by now. I’m really behind… close to unlocking Picard and Starlet Lois. I Plan on still fighting till the end but I was curious if I will be able to get everything being this far behind. Also, thanks for this amazing blog!!! It’s so helpful with both of my favorite games!!

As there are many variables… it is hard to determine. Something like a Calendar is a lil more tricky to create when customizing a game to each player is different.

Almost 1 am here…guess no update…SNIFF! Feel myself dozing off so, think I’ll head to bed. Was really looking forward to the new update and diving right in since I got Dr. Crusher and Vulcan Quagmire early yesterday morning. This is the second time Tinyco has had a delay in the Star Trek event (as far as I know) and the wait time is killing me. I did manage to finish a lot of the side quests and get a boatload of life support, phaser and transporter crystals. Hopefully Tinyco is adding something good that will be well worth the wait. As I mentioned earlier, the delay worked in my favor as I was able to get the last hypospray and unlock Dr. Crushers. Now I’m just one book away from Vulcan Quagmire which I will hopefully get before I go to sleep soon. See you tomorrow Phase 5! Now I am glad that I live in Australia. Updates was supposed to be 6am for me, a terrible time. Its currently 1245pm, and sure, no update yet, but hopefully in 3 hours time when I finish work it will be here and I can get a jump on all you in a worse time zone. Ha!
That said, I’m frustrated, excited and overstimulated from waiting. Puh-lease! Not too much longer TC…..

This is some delay! I could have finished up some of the questlines I let build up while taking care of the main line and unlocking character/skins, instead I have been sending people on 2 hour tasks to keep them freed up!
They should of recognized the size of the problem hours ago, and just held off on the update until tomorrow, and let people know they were doing so, instead of letting folks twist in the wind.

✨well it’s a little after midnight where I live and looks to me like there isn’t gonna be the WarpCore upgrade whatsoever haha!…As in previous events, different kind of new releases and what not that also has TIMERS, I was beginning to think that they were usually ONLY having a delay for like an hour or 2, but not this long…😒

May not be the right thread for this but is anyone else having major trouble with lag trying to shoot the Petercraft? About 1 out of 3 attempts the game lags badly when I try to fire causing me to miss. I’ve long since had everything for Vulcan Quagmire except the space condoms though I might well have him by now if not for the lag.

Yes. Try limiting the space on your device to help. Otherwise, just be patient with the Phaser Battles. If it is glitching, leave. Try again later after restarting device.

Im on the last quest of phase 4 but can’t continue because my quagmire got bugged, i think it happened since i was drinking and a bit of water fell on my ipad and i went to click vulcan quagmire to clear borg but the screen went nuts when i touched it cuz of the water and idk how it happened but i think i ended up on the Multiplier skin but still chose clear borg so he did clear borg in his vulcan outfit but now he’s in quahog outside of the map in the bushes clearing a borg while a Multiplier quagmire has an “!” on his face and when i click either of them it crashes, so i can’t continue. I reported it but no luck yet

I have about 90 or so Life Support Energy and my highest count I ever got to for those was like 120 somewhere around that number lol Those are literally the easiest energy to get unlike the other energy…

I admit, I’m a little bummed about the delay… But I’ve come to expect it in this game’s events. I anticipate it, so it never really bothers me too much. Besides, last week’s update being right on que was really nice, and I’ve been able to prepare for this one! Hopefully it hits tonight so we can send characters on overnight missions. And if not, well, hopefully most of us have more to do in our lives than just play this game… even if it’s just playing other mobile games! Which is pretty much what I do every day (other than work of course). Patience…

If i knew the delay was going to be this long i would have sent some people on tasks hours ago. Right now Crusher is the only one doing something, clearing redshirts to progress the main story line.

Seems as though this delay is simply to help people catch up. Sucks for me as I have been waiting for this update since early yesterday and I was really excited. Now I will probably have to go to bed before it drops since I have a job and all. Poo. Letting me down again TinyCo. Hope they plan on extending the event time now.

Do you actually hope they extend the event time? People always have excess time or at least complain the crap out of the last few days of an event not being eventful enough. They always have delays and people still always finish. The hours they get delayed never seem to be problematic for anyone, but it does help Tinyco smooth things out and lets people complain even more in their comments which is seemingly something they love to do. I realize this comment seems a little hot headed, but it’s not supposed to. So…there’s that.

The delay will probably help a few catch up, but I’m ready to go. Would be nice if they extended the time of the event to match the delay so we get a full 14 days to complete the last stage.

Troi throws about 47 tribbles per minute at the borgs (in my game) , which is around 5640 for the 2 hr task she does. Just to let you know.

I’m ready when it’s good to go. I unlocked Crush last night with some clams to finish her up. I pay into the game rarely and use clams sparingly to speed up some tasks. Sill on Quagmire needing condoms but he’s getting there quicker with another character to help drop phaser energy.

First post here, even thou you have helped me out many times by your posts, and I thank you! I don’t mind the extra time, about lacking a few essential cubes to unlock last level and hypospray, 16 to go. I am loving these longer events! A welcome change.
I have been playing almost a year and found myself after Christmas event, lost, no direction (No quest! Sigh). 😉 Since it is a game I enjoy and play every day, I just only hope this is a frequent trend of long side quests! 🙂

Even with the hiccups, I am having fun. When I need to get some aggression out I just go laugh at Red Shirts on fire, smash tribbles, or go to Quahog and dangle Characters over the Volcano. It helps. That’s normal, right? 😉

Come on, Tiny Co. You MUST know that most of your patrons are OCD dorks like me. Don’t have a timer counting down if you’re incapable of living up to it. It only irritates the people who actually keep you employed. You, Tiny Co, have had at least as much time as, we, your employers, to struggle with your updates. Only you, Tiny Co, are compensated for your shortcomings. Your employers just have to live with it.

YES!!!! Thank you, Bunny. Specific dates and times should only be listed when they actually mean something. Love the game. Love this blog. But don’t, anyone, ever, set parameters you know you can’t realistically meet. I don’t mind generalities. Just say…, “The new stuff will be up on/or around the 16th.” Totally fine. If New Year’s Eve was an arbitrary deadline, no one would know how drunk to get before they could get super drunk.

People complaining they wanted more an exact time put them there. I want them gone. It is better to give an exact date, then maybe a rough time… if they have to. Like AFTER 3pm PDT. So you know it will be sometime after that, but not exact.

I would rather them give a time, not just the words delayed. All my guys have been walking around since 5:30. I could have put them back on for Crusher or Condoms. I still need a lot of them. They could have said sorry for the delay, should be up by midnight or something. Waiting is ok for those that have it all already but for me, I hate wasting valuable time since they won’t be extending it.

Personally I think if it’s going to hit after 5pm PDT, they should just move it to the next day. They release stuff so late most people can’t do much that night anyway…I’d rather “attack it” with fresh morning eyes than tired night ones

I do feel better and although some of my diatribe may have been somewhat pointed I just felt the need to get it off my chest. Not that you need help-you are much more patient and eloquent with what you say. For me, Its been building for weeks and my patience for ignorance is gone. I don’t know how you girls deal with it ALL the time! Lol you are incredible to say the least. Thanks for letting it slide and here’s to the final 2 weeks of an amazing event!

A miracle. Lol. He is the RARE item in there, so he won’t give in too easy. Most seem to have success with ONE person on solo missions. Plan on 20-30+ trips though. That is honestly the average I am seeing. Though there are some lucky ones, like me… got him pretty quick. Choice/risk is yours to try. 😉

Got him in 6 goes with Troi in one game, and about 10 with Peter in another,
I don’t know if it helped, but I NEVER sent more than one out at a time as it increased the Dilithium drop chance without noticeably increasing the Edo Herbert drop chance.

You (and probably others) will hate me for this one, but I spent 6 early tried to get Edo Herbert early on in this phase. Decided to wait til I was more caught up on everything else before trying again. Just in the last 1.5 days, I finally unlocked Crusher and Vulcan Quagmire, then on a whim, I sent peter on a single trip to try and find him and he popped out on the first pass.
Now I have all the currently available characters & outfits unlocked. Just waiting on the new content to open up.
Mega stocked up on pretty much everything including almost 40 phaser energy, and I just have a little clean up on 3 quests to still finish up from this phase. Everything else is done.

I wonder if they will have some other uses for the Synth Ore and the Life Support, because I will have a bunch left after the upgrade, as well as a bunch of crystals. Hope they offer mystery boxes you can buy with the game currency, like they did with the Valentines.

Glad for the delay. I was concentrating so much on getting Crusher and Quags that I spaced on the life support. I only have 56. Hopefully my two rooms and Ryker will drop then every time for me. In the mean time I’ll get through some of these tasks I have. Loving this event

Wow. People are so selfish and entitled anymore. They want their FREE game and they want all the STUFF that becomes available in the game and that all should be FREE too.
Attention whiners: assuming most of you have had at some point in your life-a job-please tell me the last time any of you went to work and didn’t expect a paycheck. Anyone?
Right. So let me understand why you’re so entitled that you think all the hard working folks at TC should owe you anything if you’re so unwilling to pay for something. They’ve given us free clams throughout the event. They’ve given us hours and hours of freemium gameplay. And it seems for most of you that’s not enough. You want it all! You want it now! Anyone have children? Do you buy your 3 year old every toy he has ever seen ever? When he wants it?
An investment in this game only promises to enhance the gameplay experience. It doesn’t entitle you to demand specific content at specific times And it sure as heck doesn’t mean you are owed anything other than what you purchased.
Tinyco may very well become MegaCo someday but only if it makes enough money to grow. If they don’t sell anything ever how the deuce do they grow? How do they stay in business if they don’t make money? How do they keep players coming back if they don’t pay developers and programmers and actors and testers to keep up the great work? How will you continue your quest for stuff if there is no quest for stuff? Suck it up players. Tinyco can’t give you events like this without paying for the rights of content included within. Something has to give somewhere-so tinyco sells a product to survive and thrive. It also adjusts gameplay for the concerns players have-if its sensible.
I really feel like a jerk posting this because i know many of you agree with me but then there are the others. seriously people-its a game! And behind its success is simple economics. Take a lesson.

This one time back in the early ’90s I had gotten a tub of beef jerky from Costco. It was great but had a very, uh, funky effect on me. Eating the whole thing in a couple days didn’t help at all but I had never ever been that gassy in my life. But taste good me eat!

Not starting a flame war but the simple fact remains that after paying more for this game in 1 year than WoW, Xbox gold, and other game purchases combined, I feel “entitled” to comment. The freemium model suggests micro-transactions as a means to compensate the $60 in lieu of the gatekeeper pricetag on a game. In the end, they’ve found they profit considerably more. I don’t begrudge them profit; however, they need look no farther than the industry their in and FG’s ratings to realize the ship is sinking. Poor BBB ratings (D-) and a $300k fine from the FTC for ethics related issues in September have almost forced their hands I’m sure; however, gameplay is to be fun or playerbase is gone. I reward good behavior not bad and certainly not extortion. I love this game and love FG. I’ll be sad when it goes away but that’s the nature of gaming…. even WoW will go away and we’ll be sad but find something else. I too run a business but mine specializes in saving companys from themselves more often than not. The freemium model is a dead horse that is being migrated away from (EA is trying to keep it alive with the younger generation as long as they can). The sooner it retires to the hybrid membership/fee-based/premium area model, the happier everyone is going to be. As a final note, once FG gets cancelled or is retired (not wishing it, just being a realist) there will be no more Fox staff approval on the script. There will be no more big events without hefty price tags from Fox either. In the end the simple economics lesson ends with what’s the next agenda, not let’s keep some people happy and keep the game going. Want an example: when was the last time you played Farmville? The agenda to keep their company alive is to move on. Sorry for the spoiler alert but an online game has a limited future of play. This is the reason why gamers buy consoles and pc games and why sales are falling on the freemium model. Sorry for my book of a post but counter point made. As much as you’re right, you’re wrong sir.

Actually I can definitely use just a little more time, I only need 8 more hypnosprayers for crusher, and 1 book and 3 condoms for quags, so again the delay is some what welcome.

I’m actually GLAD there is a delay! I’m STILL behind! I need to unlock the doctor, Quagmire, and get 20 more green thingies to unlock the holodeck. I’m at least 2-3 days behind. I really hope I can catch up and will be able to unlock everyone that I want. I have spent so many clams this event to just catch up on unlocking characters. Forget about paying for the premium ones! So yes! The delay is very much welcomed on my end lol.
