The Final Frontier is on the Horizon in our Star Trek Event and Warp Core 6 has brought us the last of the goodies into our game. There is a few changes to keep in mind around, so hang tight while we verify them all for you. Just refresh the post now and then to see the details as we add them. 😉
As for some highlights…
NOTE: The Borg Cube will be for Captian Pike Joe (once you are fully in Warp Core 6), The Warbird will still be there for the Condoms and Emotion Chips.

**If you did NOT purchase her with Clams yet, the Costume will sit in “limbo” until you do get her into your game.
As I already unlocked EVERYTHING from the Mystery Box prior, she was the first thing I won when I tried it again. Remember, this is MY results. YOURS will vary. She will take 10mins to Create in Al’s once you win her.

Just verified with TinyCo. THIS IS REAL. You can now find Human Rupert and Kool-Aid Man for sale in the shop. No expiration on them as of right now. (They basically took place of Buzz and Cleveland in the shop.)

After I finally tapped on Chris when he was done battling Bertram, I went to the first part of the questline. I now see that the two other Kool Aid Items are now in my Decorations tab in the shopping cart. So for those of you that have him, check there. Mine was between the American Flag and the Gigantic Beanstalk. For you… try in Between the Small Playground and the Vending Machine (gotta go in a bit in the Decorations).

NEW PHASER BATTLES
The Borg Cube has now entered the Phaser Battle Arena. Approach this one the same as the Shielded PeterCraft as it will need… THREE HITS!
It goes REALLY REALLY slow. I was able to destroy it no problem even with a delay on my GS4 before it left the screen. The payout… 5 Oxygen Tanks. WOOHOO!!! So watch for the diagonal approach on the Borg Cube and fire on it THREE TIMES before it leaves the screen to get the award.
TAKE THIS SLOW. Approach it with patience, not panic. If the shot is not good, don’t take it. Wait. Wait for a better opportunity to present itself. 3 Phaser Energy is a lil more of a drain so spend it wisely.
Each hit will show. First one a lil damage and blow out. The Second hit even more separation. The final destroys it and your award pops out.
This is the BEST way to get the Oxygen.
NEW BORG BERTRAMS
There are now two more Borg Bertram Boss Levels to challenge you in the Holodeck. There are ONLY 5 Characters that can battle Borg Bertram and that has not changed. You can see the first and a lot of tips 3 HERE.
If you were battling the previous 3rd Laser Borg Bertram, and have completely launched into the new Warp Core Phase 6, tap on the checkmarks and he will go into Cool Down in the NEW 4th Bladed Borg Bertram Costume.

Family Guy Addicts 
Did anybody else have a huge jump in xp tonight? I was stuck on level 8 for quite some time and I thought it was moving kind of slow, but it was moving so I didn’t think anything of it. It was only have full and I clicked on one if my building to collect and it popped up and said I reached level 9! Then when I checked the meter, it actually almost completly filled level 9 as well! So I went from halfway thru 8 to almost at 10 in one click. I dunno if I was getting jipped and they cause it and put me where I should be or what. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else.

I easily hit level ten this morning, but this is the first event I’ve scrambled for currency. I have tons of stuff but struggling to get all the dilithium. Trying to decide if I want to keep hoarding for Kirk or go ahead and build Joe so he can help earn. And I don’t think about all the clans I’ve used. Yikes.

I’m in the same boat, just got my last items for CP Joe but not sure if I should create him or save up for Kirk. What did you decide to do?

Haven’t decided quite yet. I still have some catheters to collect, but I’m leaning towards snagging Kirk first. Even though this game doesn’t have the best track record of utilizing their premium and/or event characters, an additional player is probably better in the long run than a costume. While we don’t have the aspirational prizes of TSTO, this game is newer so maybe that’ll come down the line and I’ll appreciate the cash. For now, I play with all non-standard players at 24 hours and keep the regulars at 8 hours during non event play. Kirk can be earning cash while Joe hangs out. Or sits around 😉

Who’s more valuable for phase 6, Data or Talosian Stewie? I’m close to 4000 dilithium crystals which is all I need for Data. I still need 2 sunscreen & the 4000 dc for T. Stewie. Who or what should I spend my 4000 dc on?

Im worried about dilithium too, and others posting are much further ahead of me. Im a constant player but freemium.
Aside from that, i have a question about phaser battles. Can i defeat Borg cube and receive payouts, without having gotten data yet? Im warpcore 10, but have that mission left.

All I can say is check it. I am on Warp Core 6, so my info is in there. I see the Borg Cube with the Warbird. If you do not see it… you can’t defeat it. Most of these do NOT trigger til you are in the proper core. Gotta have System Failure completed to trigger last questline

Yes, you can defeat the Borg cube in the phaser battle AND receive payouts. I just did it & still don’t have the Data character. Got all 25 O2 tanks in less than 10 minutes.

Looked at the info for the Fencing Arena and Chip Factory before creating them, 100 Dilitium per hour looked like a nice deal.
After placing them, it is suddenly down to one per hour.
Feel sad.

Coding issues. Have seen this with them since the game started. Always been around.

I’ve tapped on the “check mark” icon at the top of the warp core to upgrade to warp core 6 as I’m already starfleet level 12, the animation started but nothing else happened. The warp core has remained blue and now whenever I tap on the warp core, it just displays the text “Warp Core” just like it’s a deco now.
What am I to do to continue the main questline as I cannot progress any further?

Placing Borg Consuela in the Heranus mysetry box after its already been in the agme for a week or so burns. I already had dumped a heap of clams into that box to get the few items I wanted. Went back with more clams and got 100 Clams, James Woods Highs Borg skin, The Game structure, 4 dark orbs and then got Borg Consuela skin. Your mileage may vary ( and how you feel about it of course).
On a positive, Lois, Quagmire and Peter on the away mission for only 1 hour and costing 1 crystal is very nice. Got all the drops there quickly ( 3 clams to make it instant) and went a couple more times for 500 DL crystals and then just the base reward.
On another positive, bombing the Borg Cube three times in a single pass is very easy with the speed its moving. Got all those and unlocked Captain Pike skin for Joe. He has an animation which I havent seen yet, but I’m hoping its like the OST episode….just him in his life support box with a blinking light. Fingers crossed still for young Wesley just to hear some Wheaton quips.

Well I do hope Kool-aid Man is going to be around for a bit because right now I can’t afford him because I am saving for Scotty and Khan which I am guessing are going to be clams. Man, this is one expensive event for the Premium players. Btw I got Borg Consuela on the first try for her.

Something’s been bugging me lately, and I doubt it’ll get fixed/tweaked before the end of the event, but why is it that Herbert’s 2 hour task for attempting to get an Anti-Virus disc only done on his non-event costume? It’s not a lot, but over time it does add up to an awful lot of missed dilithium and XP.

Because he is a RARE drop. Many are still trying to get him. Due to that, it would be unfair to others to ONLY have the costume drop it as not all can even get him. Make sense better now?

I’m really behind on dilithium. Have plenty of dark matter for picard and Kirk, but the dilithium numbers are killing me. Already have data and all the others from previous weeks. Any fast ways to get some? I’ve been sending meg to acapella as many suggested with little to show for it.

Where do TinyCo think we’re getting all this Dilithium from? Another 4000 for a Joe skin? Ouch. Earning 26000 in less than 7 days seems a bit unlikely.

I notice Kirk has had his Synthesizer Ore cost cut down to 30, please don’t be a bug.
Back to trying to get the remaining 20 Anti Virus for Data, I might be able to unlock the final quest before the event ends.

I’ll definitely give It a go. I’m 1 Sunscreen and 3000 Dilithium away from Talosian Stewie which would give me all 5 characters to fight Bertram, who is currently down on his 3rd form. I get the feeling I’ll be setting my alarm for the middle of the night for the next week.

Reading so many players comments on how lucky they were with the Mystery Box, I decided to try for Borg Consuela but did I get lucky? Noooo of course not. 😦 Wasted 5 tries and did not get her. Grrrrrrrr. So mad at myself. I know better!!!

After several tries of the Heranus mystery box, I finally got Borg Consuela, yay! Don’t have any clams left but totally worth it! Whilst I was trying, I got the Borg Assimilated James Woods Junior High, however I could not find it in my inventory back in Quahog. Any ideas where it might be please?

What is a good way to get the crystals? I only have 4000 and it keeps making me use them to make costumes for characters or items in the replicator, I see no way to get the characters in the replicator especially needing 15000 for Kirk

Was there any announcement for that bump in xp? Not that I likely would have seen it in time, but I wasted my phaser energy trying to get xp from all the sources I could to get to lv10 ASAP, and then about a half hour later I get the xp bump. If I had known, those phaser energy could’ve been translated into oxygen tanks instead; and characters who produce phaser energy are currently locked up on quest tasks/Bertram, so it’ll be a while for me. Wish that coulda been added as a notification box on booting the game, but not complaining about the free xp (but some free dilithium would be boss!)

Maybe they’ll bring him back at his original clam cost, instead of the increased one. I heard from a co-worker they bumped his clam price initially at 300 slowly to 400, and he’s one of the only premium characters I really think just belongs in the set.

The volleyball court and hot air balloon are not in my game and I certainly don’t have them yet. Do you have to buy Kool-Aid Man to start his quest and get these items? Not that I’m going to, but just curious.

I have a ton of life support (197), phaser energy (108- only needed 15 of them to get the O2), synth ore (96) and even transport energy (150). Amazing that now that I don’t need it, I have it by the bucket and there is nothing that I want to spend it on! I hope they will have some other way of spending it before the event ends.

THIS is why they tightened this event. Comments like THIS. People stating “too much, want something else to buy”. So they shortened the drop variables to make it so you had lil or nothing left at the end. Just enough to get it.
Let me ask you this, do you have this from being a Premium? Or from Room Swapping?

I think the main reason I have a lot of materials is because I have no interest in Kirk, in which case I would be on target for getting him by the end of the event. I have spent some clams, but mainly on the boxes, because I wanted some of the cool stuff in them. like the borg kitten, and now borg consuela, and a few of the rooms, and the starfleet academy, but no characters, and only the 50 crystal lab. My rooms have been dropping extremely well.
I did not do the room swapping thing, because by the time I understood the concept, they had fixed the player advantage, same with the extra crystals from Lois! *chuckle*
I don’t really want more buildings, but I was hoping they would have some sort of ship shell to place the rooms in, and more decorative stuff, like the cool plants and shrubs.
I just wish there was a way I could share it with folks who needed it. I am not really complaining, because as I have said, the fact I have the borg kitten and the stewie skin, which were my main goals, the rest of the event is gravy. *smile*

What else do you want to get?! Remember that others who doesn’t have that much left will not be able to get it and will complain likewise. You better invest the transporter energy on away missions to get some clams, that’s a nice move of TyniCo

I just was looking at descriptions and saw that the dilithium refinery says “First one’s free”. Is this an oops in the description or can we actually get one for free? Anyone know?

So I think TinyCo just made up for the delay for me. I was about half way to rank ten and after clicking on the visor stand my game auto jumped me to lv 10.

If it is like previous events… TOO Much to put in full scale with Event. To prevent crash, tone it down now… up it after. Saw similar before. Item animation off during event. Switched on after.

Some of my Borgs are showing a chance for the oxygen tanks and some aren’t. It’s like the old ones from pre-warp level update are not up to date. I also had a small stomping-up-and-down moment (figuratively of course) because right after loading up the Enterprise, Borg Bertrem was standing up again…so I immediately shot him with everyone…only to have him sit down again! His timer wasn’t up but he initially loaded up as standing! Arg! I’ve been tricked!
Oh, I mentioned in earlier posts that I was saving up just a few more clams to get Q but after the introduction of Bertrem, I had to make an executive decision to get Guinan instead for extra firepower. Oh well :-\ BUT at least I’m not getting burned again like with the Yeti during the Xmas event. 🙂

Are you fully into Warp Core 6? Running the new questline? Did you see his skin change to the newer 4th gen color while in cool down?

I had to shoot down borg bertram while the warp drive upgrade was still being “delayed” and assumed he would change into the new upgraded bertram after the upgrade took effect. It did not. Pretty disappointed about that. Got screwed by the update delay I guess. It should have changed Bertram after his respawn, not after he is initially dispatched. Whatev.

I got Kool-Aid man back when he originally came out, and completed the quest line. Hopefully TinyCo will remove the task from my bar, it’s full of them as it is, I don’t need no more stinkin’ tasks 😉

Anybody else done the away trip to the Borg cube and get the crappy low resolution 2D Enterprise statue yet? It looks like garbage next to the other ships, it completely flat and has no detail to it at all… Disappointed…

Let them know. It may be just the overload of the Event and was tuned down to not crash it, then may go back up after. We have seen that before in Events.

Yeah, it was not particularly, shall we say, robust, in its presence. I found it bizarre that the “star” of the show was less commanding than the bird of prey, but at least the bird of pays out!

I had to laugh at the quickie walkthrough for the Final Frontier questline – in Part 2 where it says “Data Empty Spock’s Litterbox”. Obviously a typo/autocorrect error, but the image that conjured up was priceless…

Hahaha, the only thing I know about Star Trek is what I’ve learned from the event and this blog and when I read it I thought, “hhmm, Spock uses a litter box ,I thought he was a human-like space man but he must be a type of “space pet/animal” lol hahaha I’m an idiot hahaha I’m ROFL hahah

Hi bunny. I upgradef to the newest warpcore today and no questline started. looking through this post I realized the system failure quest never started for me. Is it because I am still stuck on road to recovery part 4 (petercraft problem). I sent them a note a few days ago through my game.

Has anyone experienced the apparition of the Kool Aide man part 1 where the task is to send Chris apply at the Buddy Chanci? Is this part of the event or just a known glitch? That task was part of the Kool Aide Man ages ago.

I haven’t had much new hit in my game after updating, so I’m guessing it’s because I still don’t have Data (System Failure Pt 8). What I have gotten is: Joe skin, new Talosian Stewie questline (Illusion Confusion Pt. 1), and a couple new decos for sale.
And then, just now, the Kool-Aide Pt 1 questline popped up, asking me to send Chris to apply for a job as Kool-Aide man’s assistant…. WTF?

Concerning Kool-Aid Man, I’m seeing it as well. Chris triggered the series of quests. It’s the “Kool-Aide Pt 1: Chris apply for a job at Buddy Cianci” quest. I didn’t get a trigger for The Final Frontier. At least not yet.
