Family Guy Technical Help: How To Upload & Post Pictures w/Dropbox

It looks like it is that time. Time for me to pull out my nerdy geek girl glasses, crack my knuckles, stretch out my typing fingers, put on my “thinking cap” (though I swear Alissa calls it my “dunce cap”)…it is time to get technical.

So pull up a comfy chair, grab some snacks, and your favorite beverage. You are about to go into the mind of Bunny as I show you some tips and tricks of the technical nature.

Quest for Stuff Quick Walkthroughs: Pirate’s Cove to Unlocking the Civic Center

Hello there Clammers!

We last left off our walkthrough we had unlocked Mr. Herbert and Joe and Peter was just suggesting we head over to Pirate’s Cove (District 5)…because “sometimes a guy just wants to be best friends with a bird”.  So now we pick this back up with the complete quests that will pop up while in Pirate’s Cove!

Pirate’s Cove is where you’ll unlock Seamus, Meg & have to take down a bunch of pirates!

Once again this District walkthrough is structured by questline  (Note: Questline is considered the entire task list that is required under a certain title.  For example A Pirate’s Life for Peter Pt. 1, Pt. 2 etc).  This should help you keep track of what comes next in each questline & what you’ll need to do.  Keep in mind, with this game various quests/tasks can be running at once.  You can be in the middle of 1 questline and another questline will start, however the order in which the questlines appear may be different for each game.

Unlocking characters in Pirate’s Cove takes a little more patience, as the list of “Stuff” required to unlock is longer, and the quantities of each are greater.  Take your time, try not to get frustrated when the items don’t appear.  Try a different task to unlock the item, or try working on a different item.

So let’s pick our walkthrough back up with Peter, Pirates & the quest for NEW stuff!

One costume you’ll earn on your Quest for Stuff is Speedo Quagmire, a skimpy costume for Quagmire.  Somewhere between the School District & Pirate’s Cove the quest to unlock Speedo Quagmire will pop up for you!  So let’s take you through the steps to unlock this tiny costume for Quahog’s biggest player!  Giggity!

What Would YOU Change? Tell TinyCo!

Hey there Clammers. Miss me yet? So I am here for a quick little picking of your brains. This is in regards to our amazing friend at TinyCo.

TinyCo Logo

The “Guy in charge” has been working right by our side this entire time to take care of YOU and this amazing new game. Matt has been there every step of the way to ensure any and all glitches were jumped on RIGHT AWAY, as well as constantly updating me on the progress so I can then in turn pass all the information to you. Numerous emails back and forth til we got to the start of the “bugs”.

He even went so far as to contact a few of you personally after I forwarded him your info to tap into your games and get to the bottom of the dreaded “Bruce Glitch”. OH NOOOOOOOOOOOO!! (Way to go Patient Zeros! Lol.)

I am THOROUGHLY impressed with him and the entire team at TinyCo for having such an amazing interest and connection to all of the players of Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff.

Now, why this post? Well, the same amazing guy in charge…Matt, wants to make the game better for YOU. For us all.

Hi Bunny!

Now that we’re a week in, we’re going through the in-game FAQ and updating it to be more effective. Do you or your visits have any thoughts on how the FAQ can be improved?
Things like:
– Updating existing text so it appears when you search. (For instance, players are searching for “district,” “neighborhood,” and “quarter” for how to expand their Quahogs.)
– FAQ items that don’t exist yet, such as “how to store buildings”
– FAQ items that can be improved to be more clear

Man, I really do adore this guy. Such integrity and passion in their game. It amazes me. So here is your chance to respond with what YOU would like to see changed. Sound off in the comments below. I will be forwarding ALL of your information directly to him myself. Just look at how fast they have responded already to cost of items and times of tasks. AWESOME!!

Until Next Time…

App Store Update AND Downed Server

Hello There Questers!

A few things going on with the game right now…

First up…an update has hit the app store.  I know for a fact this is on Android, but I can’t verify on iOS…so iOS users help us out and let me know if you got a little update in your store today.  Update: Thanks to our awesome readers…there is currently no iOS update.  So this is an Android only update.  So be sure to check out your app store and download the newest version:

2014-04-16 22.29.07

This is a glitch fix, as they’re still working out all of the bugs in the games.  However, the social aspect is STILL disabled…

2014-04-15 20.27.17 (1)

Second thing…it appears the servers are down right now.  Give it a little bit of time if you’re having issues getting on and try again shortly.  It’s possible they’re running tests on the servers for future glitch fixes 🙂

2014-04-16 23.15.57

UPDATE Looks like the servers are back up! 🙂

UPDATE 8:45pm EST: Looks like they’re back down again.  I think it’ll be a little bit of up and down tonight.  So if you have issues getting in just sit tight and try again in 10 min 🙂

UPDATE 9:30pm EST: Ok servers are still doing a little up and down movement on us, BUT we were able to confirm that 1hr tasks for the following characters are now 1m tasks (earn the 1m rate of $5).  This eliminates the 1hr task for these characters, so you’ll no longer have a 1hr option in the task box:
Bonnie
Bruce
Mort
Lois
Joe
Quagmire’s 30m “raid panties” task is now 1m…he still has a 1hr task.

Herbert and Jerome have not been changed…but that could change.  We’ll keep you updated as we know more.

This adjustment is great, it’ll help you earn more money quicker!  I will update the How to Earn Money Faster post to reflect these changes!

Tips for Earning Money Faster on Your Quest for Stuff

UPDATED 4/16 to reflect new 1m quests for characters

Hello There Questers!

One of the most common questions we see is…”how can I earn money faster?!” As you work your way through your quest for stuff you’ll notice it starts to become more difficult to progress in the game because you don’t have enough money!  The higher your progress in the game, the more expensive it becomes to unlock buildings.  However, there are some things you can do to earn money faster in FG:TQFS…while you won’t be banking millions you’ll still be earning money at a faster pace to help you find more stuff!

So let’s break down some of these tips for earning money faster shall we?
