Hey there Clammers, Bunny hopping on by to make a cute lil cozy spot in our new lil world where you can shout at me…errr…well…comment to me anyway of the big (or lil) glitches and hiccups you are running into with your game. We are bound to run into a few as the game gets its bearings. No worries, they eventually get ironed out and patched up.
So here is a place that you can come to and notify us when you run into troubles with a glitch. This way I can pick up on a trend and let TinyCo know right away so they can work on correcting it. They are quite fantastic to work and communicate with. Very helpful to their players.
So tell me your problems and try to include a few key points like the device you play on and/or what was happening when you experienced the Glitch.
As always, you can use the great design of the game to get further help should you need it. Just a tap of the Menu and go into Help & Support.
UPDATE 4-13 6:45om EST:
TinyCo has found the source of the timing issue with the characters (they start a task and after being left for hours, still have same time remaining as when you left the game.) Update to resolve the issue is in the process along with Bruce Glitch.
Here are a few suggestions from TinyCo to resolve issue in the meantime.
In some cases, if you log off before a character begins an action, the game will not start the action. You will know an action has started when you see the countdown timer appear.When you assign actions, wait until the action countdown timer begins. Once the action is going, it is safe to log off.To be extra sure, we recommend leaving the game running for a minute or two before exiting.
For those of you with the “Bruce” screen continuously popping up, please go to our Bruce Glitch Thread and follow the instructions there. I will continue to update it as I get response back.

Hi having an issue with family guy every time if try and go into the app on iPhone 4S it loads then comes up with engine config error and won’t load has been doing this for 2 weeks and can’t seem to solve it have reinstalled and tried to log in but still can’t get in.

Mine is doing the exact same thing. I didn’t get to finish the Halloween phase and even after the update tonight, it still won’t load. I’ve emailed TinyCo numerous times and written on their website and gotten no response. Really upsetting.

A bit FYI…posting on their website that is not ran by techs won’t really help you. Our ONLY suggestions is the proper route of in game through your menu or the email I provided.

I was on part 5 of consuela dI da los muertos questline and it just disappeared from the game. I never got to finish. Any idea how to correct this?

They pulled it. More due to other players would have had to stop anyway as the items needed for the quest or gone now with the Day of Dead items.

Uninstall and reinstall a valid and up to date game from the appropriate app market you go through to see if that helps. Otherwise, kindly reach out to TinyCo and see if they can help. 😉

My animation of anal point is glyched (Double Double Toil and Trouble pt. 6). I just did a fresh re-install last night though because of all the hangs, crashes, and sudden exits I was seeing, so it could just be me. Anyone else have the glych?

Yes. Many do. They are working on it, but it is low priority as it is mainly just an image issue and the task completes just fine. Other issues/glitches locking players out of game will take higher priority. They will fix it though. Just give them time.

On the task “Ghostbusters Roll out. Pt. 8” It requires me to reach fright level 4 and upgrade to the stay puft portal. I am fright level 8 and have the nightmare portal but it still won’t register that I have completed the tasks. I’ve sent tiny co a message every day for the past 3 days using the in game help and support but they aren’t getting back to me. Can anyone help please?

I reported this too. Still waiting to see what they find. As far as messaging them…give them time to respond. OVER messaging them doesn’t help. It only adds to the backlog of messages they have to go through and delays responses even further. (Just think of thousands of players doing the same thing. Sending message over n over. 😉 )

Hi Bunny,
Is there a known glitch getting Rambo Lois? I got her today, and though Harringtons has made the outfit, when I click on the “aww sweet” button to get back to the main game, the game crashes entirely.
When I return to the game, I have to hit the Harrington’s button again to get the outfit again, and lather, rinse, repeat on the crashing.

No. Nothing at all. I was able to get around it by reloading the game, and then choosing Rambo Lois from Lois’s character menu(so it was there), rather than trying to go through Harrington’s, so I eventually got it, but every time I tried to go through Harringtons, it crashed the came out at the “aww sweet” button.

Common issue we have seen for a while now. All you can do is report it to them. They have sent patch after patch after patch to try and fix it.

I can confirm that it is something they’ll fix in time for you if you let them know. Mine finally got fixed. I can visit most friends, and any that there might be an issue with (I’m guessing from them not updating the game), it just gives me a notice that I can’t visit them. Much better than letting me visit, then crashing. 🙂

Francis is stuck at level 3 and doesn’t gain any xp from his actions. I did the mission for him to show his true colors. He was gaining xp up till I completed it. Now he need 6(?) for his next quest but nothing I choose on his list of actions gain him xp/levels

Lol. This seems like the current question being asked.
It is an “illusion”. The bar IS filling up, but it is taking MORE XP the higher the level you go so it appears it never moves. No worries, it is filling up. The XP is counting. Just give it some time and you will see it jump. 🙂

I thought that but the past 3 times I’ve strum the harp, the bar stayed the same spot under his right foot on that action list. I also noticed xp isn’t listed for any of his actions. Vials and portal xp is listed. That may be same for others but just noticed it on his cause of the issue.

Is anyone else having bonus clam issues? I swear this has happened to me like four or five times now that im supposed to get like 25 clams for getting a character or a costume and during this Halloween event alone it has happened twice in a row so they owe me 50 clams at least …I can forget about the other times but I want my 50 Halloween clams

Are you talking about the Character Set Completions? When you go to FaceSpace (icon right next to task bar menu), just it show the ones you purchased having the set completely filled out? If so, and you did not see the clams added. Let TinyCo know.

Yes its happened to me before and I never realized the support button was in the game I felt stupid heheh but I saw you say that to somebody and now ive got that support e mail added to my contacts 😉 so ive contacted them and now im just waiting to hear back. He was only available for those that were playing during the Candy Time. Did you play then? Did you collect any candy? Did you have regular Brian unlocked then?

Here’s an odd glitch I noticed yesterday. I had finally succeeded in unlocking Mayor West and decided to clear the annoying ‘dawgs’ out of my game. I started to realise that the little coins weren’t appearing each time so very carefully watched the totals at the top of the screen and definitely was not receiving any money for it. I have plenty of coins so haven’t bothered with an in-game message but thought maybe someone with a cash shortage might like to know to hold off on clearing the dogs until after the Halloween event.

Stink bomb meter doesn’t changet unless you reloadgame. Ie, you have 5, you use 5 but it still says you have 5. When you arm the slingshot though, it shows 0.

Are you asking for FP or XP?
FP can be monitored by clicking on the skeleton FP icon in the lower right. Your totals will be along the top of the pop out.

Hi, Bunny.
Have you heard about an issue with the XP bar not filling or progressing after completing quests? I’m playing FamGuy on iPhone 5 / iOS 7.1.1 and upon completion of a quest I can see xp being transferred to the XP level status bar, but the progress seems to have stopped. (Currently at level 40)

It is more an image thing. It seems visually it may not be filling up, but it is. Just check your actual XP points, if those are going up…you are just fine. 😉

That could be anything from WiFi signal loss to server overloaded with players to other issues. All we can suggest is to follow basic troubleshooting and if issue still there, contact TinyCo.

My QFS has soooo many issues I don’t know where to start, so I’ll only list the ones that actually seem to affect the game:
– My grey ghosts have all but stopped dropping spirit vials, except for maybe 20% of the time. They still seem to have the same drop rate for Terror Bones and clams, but I can’t get spirit vials at all practically.
– I haven’t been able to visit a neighbour’s Quahog in over a month. Attempting to log into Facebook almost instantly crashes the game, every time. I realize I’m not the only one having problem’s similar to this, so I’m sure TinyCo is working on a fix… Right?
– I wasn’t able to get The Multiplier fast enough in the Comic-Con event, however, Blobulous and Jerome both have actions (Break Scale and Be A Superior Athlete, respectively) that can still drop Lotion needed to craft him. If they drop the item, tapping it causes the game to crash, and all progress made since the action was given is lost.
– When Consuela pops up telling me I’ve lost connection (DAMN YOU CONSUELA!!!), tapping the ‘Retry’ button twice in quick succession often causes the game to freeze for about a minute, then crash.
All other issues are non-game-affecting, but are still annoying (sounds and character quotes often get cut in half, etc…). Any help with any of these would be appreciated. Playing on iOS.

Grey Ghosts should be spawning now at the rate they should be (we reported it early this morning and they were looking into it.)
The neighbor visit is an ongoing issue. They keep trying patches that fix most players, but some still have problems so you need to contact them and allow them proper time to return to you as they are still trying to resolve it (not an easy fix).
Report the Multiplier issue if you have not separately.
If you see Consuela…pause. This can mean the server is overloaded with MILLIONS of players hitting it at once. Continually tapping is just adding to that hold up. Think of a traffic jam at 5 o clock when everyone is going home. You gotta wait for the flow to start to pick up again before things speed back up to normal.
Issues with sounds, report.
Quotes cut in half? More info on that one please or at least a screen shot if it is an image issue.

I went through all the trouble shooting that you sent me. The only thing I haven’t done is remove the game. I do not know if I have an account set up.i cannot log in to find out since it won’t let me in. I downloaded the game to my phone and it doesn’t show an account linked to my email. How do I avoid losing my game but also deleting the app and reloading it? Thanks

Each District has to have all the district before it completed. Where are you Play wise? What tasks in your task menu are still open? (You can always go to our menu district page too to see what needs to be done each one.) 😉

Got 4 so far but the quests say; 1/2 and 1/8.

Hey..I love the Family Guy: Quest for Stuff game
I’ve spent a lot of money on it and have just about everything you’ve came up with and offered with in the game. I don’t have Mr. KoolAid man because I feel like there was a glitch. He was gone before the timer ran out..then he came back for a little while then was gone completely. Feel like I got screwed there. But this is not why I’m writing to you. I am getting an error when trying to open the app. It says engine configuration status error…or something like that. I just don’t want to lose all my info.and I want to know when I’ll be able to upgrade the portal because the time keep running out and restarting. Please let me know if there is something I have to do. Thank you.

Known glitch. You have to contact TinyCo directly for them to fix it. It’s a case by case basis since it’s not a massive widespread issue.

I carried out the latest Family Guy update about 5 days ago & haven’t been able to access my game since, I now have the Peter Griffin as a ghostbuster screen logo but it won’t get past the blue screen with Tiny Co. I have send a couple of emails to Tiny Co but had no response. I don’t want to have to reload game as on level 40ish and can’t remember if I have a password set up. Can anyone help?

How old is your device? Sometimes with these events older devices don’t have the memory to support it so it won’t load.

Unfortunately I have been locked out for 5 weeks now… I ended up contacting the BBB and that’s the only way I could get a response from TinyCo as a paying customer. Although not resolved, I now get an email every 5 days asking for more details… Their support is so inundated at the moment, so if you’re waiting weeks like I did, report them.
