Update 8/11: Quagmire’s 12hr Drink at the Clam task now can earn you Ice Cream Sundaes. Remember it’s still extra rare in drop rate…but it’s nice to have another character that can earn it 🙂
Also, Ron’s task to earn pesticides has now been split from his task to earn batteries. His 4hr task now will always drop green pesticide, and he has a new 8hr task Shop for Tough Guy Bandanas now has the chance to drop batteries (rare).

New Way to Earn Blam!:
Similar to defeating King Butt, this event now has Defeat Giant Stewie. This time you’re required to collect pesticides to defeat him.
You’ll find Giant Stewie on top of the Convention Center
And you’ll have to collect pesticides of various colors from characters and zapping mutant stewie’s to defeat him. You’ll have 24 hrs to defeat him for each time…ie get the right color and number of pesticides to defeat him. Each time you defeat him before the clock runs out you’ll earn more and more Blam!
When you tap on him you’ll see this screen…showing you what color and number you need:
We’ll have a full break down of Giant Stewie soon, but that’s the basic breakdown.

Fabulous Challenge:
This triggers by Peter once you’re on Part 4 of the Enfant Terrible questline. This week’s challenge is to defeat Giant Stewie 5 times in 3 days.
Don’t worry the clock won’t start until you get to part 4 of the main questline. Correction this is starting at part 2, part 3 and part 4 for some people. So assume it’ll kick in once you learn how to defeat stewie and have peter get pesticides. Basically don’t complete part 1 if you want to stall it.
So build up those pesticides…so you can defeat him quickly!

Interesting that they released big stewie and Felicia at the same time. It makes it a lot more difficult as some things will result in pesticides rather than a Felicia item. Plus, one must sometimes choose between a chance at a Felicia item or a definite pesticide.
What would you guys focus on? Pesticide tasks or ones that may have a chance at Felicia items.

My strategy is to gather as many pesticides as I can before the 3 day mark for challenge 2 is up, and then use then to get stewie. Then i’ll gather pesticides, before beating him again, but I’ll focus more on Felcia…since the challenge is the only timed part. 🙂

I cannot believe that it would take over 13,000 Blam cans for both the costume and Felicia Day, there has to be a much easier way to gain them without spending anymore clams as those are spare and rare to gain. 😦

Fab challenge starts on part 3 not part 4 so watch out. I thought id get to part 3 and stay for a few days but its started the fab challenge and now im goin to struggle as i only have peter to ern spray as ps is busy having a sleep over and still need 4 puppies for rp. Is it just me or is there something wrong with the Fabulous Challenge 2?
Fight Giant Stewie 5 times in 3 days. But you have to wait 24h so that he is ready. So if I’m not mistaken you need at least 5 days to complete this challenge…

No, you don’t have to wait 24 hrs. You can fight him as much as you want, you have 24hrs for the streak. Each time you beat him the timer resets.

I find Bryan to be expensive for 500 clams but after reading about the 2 hour task for the sprays I may bite the bullet. I haven’t finished part 5 yet but just wondering if Bryan’s 2 hours task is their from the start or do I have to level him up to unlock it.

No they should stay in your count totals, even if you don’t defeat him. They’ll only disappear when you use them. And yes the timer resets back to 24hrs everytime you reset him 🙂

Askjeeves.com is the best new building… Period!!! Once you put Lois in for the day task, it turns from a normal building. To a backwards comic shop inside the Jeeves building. Fav glitch ever

When you get to part 4, so save up for it and plan it out wisely. Better to stay small and break it into days and use less Pesticide.

Guys, I have to say… I LOVE all the new buildings that came with the event. The problem is I LOVE ALL the new buildings! At this point if they gave us 2 districts of free land it still wouldn’t be enough. Im not super crazy about the novelty buildings like the training center ,the hover board park etc but the stores, restaurants, and especially the q hotel, askgeeves, and the planetarium are EVERYTHING! Its just so hard to have to store other buildings but I guess an awesome store for a ballpark is gonna have to be a fair trade for now. Any word on a land expansion? I’m sure they are aware that with all the new stuff its getting tight so im hoping we have some free land in our future.

So, once again, TinyCo is using a total of 4 characters (Peter, Bruce, Bonnie, Chris) for the 6 tasks tied to dropping items that unlock two limited-time characters/outfits (Felicia and Blobulous). I know it falls right in line with their business model of driving purchases by making it difficult/frustrating for players to earn items, but I still can’t help but be a little ticked when there are two characters doubled up on items tasks (Peter and Bruce) while over a dozen characters are walking around with no tasks to do that are related to the event at all (either earning event currency or item drops).
Oh well, at least it’s good to see TinyCo offer Bryan Cranston as an insta-buy-only character – so refreshing for them to just be up front… “Want him? Then buy him!” 🙂

I think the use is more to stick with a game that is usable by ALL levels of players. Even new. So they focus on Main Characters. Though, especially with this event…more and more of the new and Premiums are getting involved.

Surely they can only continue with that business model for so long. That’s like saying they value newer players who don’t spend money over the ones who have been with them since day one spending clams on all these characters and buildings. I have over 30 characters in my town, yet only 4 on tasks.its time tiny Co started using the characters and buildings they tricked us into buying,for extra quests/unlocks to reward the players who support them and have since the beginning.

I don’t see it like that. They are still new. Only a few months old. Still seeing how players react to their ideas. They have changed. Adapted. I see them utilizing more new characters in this event. Best thing to do…suggest to them your thoughts. Go through your game menu and give them some feedback. I have seen them come a LONG way. Still stuff to work out…but doing better. 😉

I’m really glad that Bryan Cranston was available for premium purchase instead of having him in a mystery box like the Clamterprise. I e-mailed them about it– that I’d rather buy premium stuff outright rather than having to win them in mystery boxes– and they seem to be listening to our suggestions. Also noticed that the Robuttasaurus is animated now! I’m less than 10K Blam! away from getting that prize! 🙂

I agree!! I’ve played since day one and I’m so annoyed that only a small number of characters can earn blam and items. I did send them an in game message regarding this, plus a couple other suggestions (new land for all of the new comiccon buildings and an end of event sale on premium buildings). So maybe if enough people tell TinyCo what we want, they will change it 🙂

Don’t make excuses like this. There’s no reason they can’t have more then 3-4 options to unlock something. They should be rewarding players that have stuck with the game, not punishing them. Cause that is exactly what they are doing here.

It’s not an excuse, it’s fact. They try to make it focus around ALL players. But I (and everyone else) agrees with you that you should reward players who have been playing longer with more character tasks. However, I can just imagine the outcry we’d be hearing from people if Stewie had tasks but they didn’t unlock him yet. Since that was the number 1 thing people were worried about before the event, not having Stewie and if he’d be required.
You can’t please everyone..unfortunately. So instead they make it only for characters in the first 2 districts. Of course then I sit here and wonder, why not District 3…Lois and Mort weren’t so tough to unlock initially either.

Within two/three days of playing the game I was at district 4/5 (can’t remember exactly because I’ve been tapping since day one) if Android players can catch up after a week behind, then new players certainly can catch up. Any further yes, probably would be unfair, but premium characters should earn blam! Has anyone confirmed whether the king butt glitch works on Stewie? I’ve still got another four mutants to zap yet

Sorry I don’t mean to sound like I am attacking you. I think the Tiny co has pulled the wool over the eyes of too many players. You state that this is a fact, that early players only have access to a couple characters. Even given that, if they have been playing the event, then they would have Patrick and probably Ron by now. So why not give them a task to help unlock the next character and costume? This domino effect would be welcomed by even new players, don’t you think? Just for the record, I purchased two of the three buildings to help unlock Day and Brian as well, to help beat back Stewie. I am sitting at just und 50,000 blam. The faster I am done this climb to 100,000, the better for sanity and social life.

Mark, I feel and totally understand your passion. By “fact” Alissa was referring to a discussion with TinyCo. They said they want to keep events open to as many players as possible. I personally wish the Premium characters would have a greater role. They don’t have to make a quest line that NEEDS them….but they at least could add to the Blam and item drops. All I would ask all who read this is to remember we are just gamers like the rest of you guys. We do our best with this site because 1) We love playing games and 2) We love helping great folk’s like yourself.
Sometimes it can feel like we become the whipping post. We totally get the frustration this game can cause (believe me, I get PO royally at times..lol). Let’s just all remember that this community is here to work together to improve a game that we all seem to enjoy. We are totally WITH you all…never against. 🙂

Try a hard closing your game and all other apps. Turn your device off. Then power up device and game. If that doesn’t work. Try buying later today. If still not working. Notify TinyCo from within the game.

No other costume you seen at comic con was able to actually get off the ground? I figured it out with powered magnetics. Soldered some on a battery and was able to lift off the ground, just have to have metal below me. Thankfully most convention centers have metal all over the floor 🙂

There appears to be a mistake with the rarity of the 8 sided die it should be rare since it only costs 10 clams to buy 1 instead of the usual 20 unless it is the lowest form if ultra rare it should only be rare

Thought I’d mention, Bryan Cranston and Ron Perlman were in the movie Drive together.
Also, when I click on a small mutant Stewie to zap him, it says I have a chance to win items towards Chris’ costume, but not pesticide, so I guess that is how it will be, till I get his outfit.
Lastly, do you think it wise to spend Blam on the Montage Training Center and get a chance of pesticide every 12hrs or save the 4,000 Blam to spend towards Felicia and so forth?

I think the training center says it Always drops pesticide. After seeing that I decided to get to building it. Should be ready to go for me in another bunch of hours.
On a side note looks like I get to play FGTQFS all weekend to keep my mind off the hurricanes…yes plural…rolling through my state. Almost everything is shutting down so nothing to do but stay home and tap tap tap.

If your game is linked to Facebook or an email account. Uninstall/reinstall it and see if it forces the update. Use this guide to get your old game reloaded. Let me know what happens.

This one is a little different since it’s tied to the “car” challenge. You still want to wait until the timer is near hitting zero, so you can collect the most “sprays” to help keep your streak going once you commit to a “run”. But keep an eye on your 3 day “Challenge” countdown so you get all 5 defeats accomplished before IT hits zero. 😉

I grew up in the desert in West Texas. I loved it and still miss it. That’s where the desert rat comes from. Found out later it was actually a unit back in the day. British I think. I don’t get back very often and when I do I burn like crazy. Miss the sunsets and the view.

Awesome. We had a similar situation. They used a dry lake bed near us as a marker and the booms would rattle the windows and knock things off the shelves. I really miss the thunder storms. You could watch them build from miles around and have beautiful lightning shows. I agree about the stars. Used to lay on the roof and just stare at them. We were so far from anything that you could see everything. Wal-mart was a 70 mile trip. 30 to get to a gas station.

He does have an awesome pesticide producing 2 hour task that ALWAYS drops at least 1 of each kind of “spray”. I have been averaging 4 every 2 hours. That my be why he’s higher priced. 🙂

It’s a one time offer right now. Once you use it, that countdown task icon will disappear. So make your best deal you can. 🙂

Just like the King Butt event with the jelly-yo shots, some colors are considered rarer. Orange appears to be the easier color to drop more often right now. We are keeping an eye to see if this is the case. 😉

Seems that since the mini update hit, the option of getting Hams and Sundaes for Blobulous from zapping Latcher Stewies is gone. Have y’all noticed this? Kinda stinks since I got prob 90% of my Ron “stuff” from the zapping 😦

The update is for android users, nothing for iOS users yet. Each update has different coding. You my need to uninstall/reinstall your game. If it’s linked to email or Facebook, you’ll be fine. Use this guide to load your old game. If this doesn’t work, send a message to TinyCo..menu/help/contact us

I’m having a problem with the android version of my game. seems like others are too. I get the ! above peter and he goes through the dialog for the quest but then it shows check marks next to the challenges and i cant continue. so i don’t get to see giant Stewie or any other updates.

It looks like I have to wait 24 hrs before I can spray giant Stewie again. Is that true for you too? This is different from the King Butt challenge.

Are you looking at the countdown timer above him telling you how much time you have left to MAX out on the Blam! multiplier?
Tap on the building he is on…not him. See if it says you need to gather more pesticide for his next challenge. He only takes 1 minute to regenerate, then you can battle him again and keep moving up those multipliers til it resets.

Sounds like you selected the “follow” option somewhere along the line. If you can pinpoint where, you may be able to locate the comment and UNselect it. If not, see if there is an option in the email itself to UNfollow the thread or UNsubscribe. Let us know. 😉

Keep in mind people, Cranston is less than $10 worth of clams and drops up to 12 of each kind of pesticide a day if you keep him fully rotated in his 2hr task(so probably 8-10 of each is more realistic).
With 31 days left and Cranston funding the Stewie pesticide project you can rack up a ton of Blam! for a one-time IAP. It’s too early to tell but I feel like if you got Cranston now you can probably hit 100k in a month just because of how that multiplier goes. Keep in mind with 4 weeks left TinyCo will probably be adding in a ton of ways to hook people up with more easy Blam!, too so I wouldn’t lose faith in hitting 100k like with the Moon Event, where their ideas were less fleshed out than now.
I realize Cranston is expensive but if you’re like me and spend absolutely nothing else on Android gaming then tossing $10 to TinyCo now and again to enable you to reach 1-2+ characters seems like a fair deal(and a reasonable response for the entertainment the game has provided me over the past few months).

How do you figure that Cranston costs less than $10? With his cost of 500 clams, he costs the better part of the $20 600 clam crate. If you buy the tank of clams for $100 to get 3500 clams, he costs more than $14, and you’d have committed to spending the other $85 and change in game.

Actually Bryan Cranston is 500 clams which is $20 give or take. I would drop ten bucks on Bryan in a heartbeat but twenty is outrageous.

I think when Felicia’s flagpole finishes unlocking for me around 2AM, I’ll use more than half my remaining Blam to start building the training center rather than holding onto it waiting for the rest of Ron Perlman’s drops. in 20 hours build time that should start earning orange sprays, and I may be able to get enough Blam to unlock Ron before I finish collecting those records and puppies. Though if I had to guess, Perlman’s probably a better insecticide producer, but I have no way to know how long it’ll take to collect those items.

I’m SUPER annoyed that Bryan Cranston is 500 clams. I really wanted him, but 500 clams is highway robbery. Seriously, TinyCo, you should take us to dinner first. It doesn’t ruin the game for me, but it is a huge red mark in this event ledger. It also makes me have second thoughts about buying clams. TinyCo seems to be worse than EA when it comes to premium currency and premium items, and this is by no means, a compliment.

Sorry you feel that way. I would suggest if you have ideas on the cost of items, let them know. Use your in game menu, help and settings, and suggest to them what YOU feel would be a fairer cost of Premium items in the games. 😉

Yes, the lowered the price of Conseula when the game first game out. I forget how much she was at first (but it was A LOT), but then they dropped her down to where is is now.

I write animation codes in my sleep better then what the characters in this game do. That being said it is 500 clams to buy him. If you want 500 clams you most likely would buy the $19.99 for 600 clams. So 20 bucks for an animation gift along with about 10 lines of code is worth it to you. I think I have a horse you might be interested in.

Calmed a lot of the pesticides just to see what it takes (and get blam lol) so far it looks like
1st time 1. (orange)
2nd time 3. (Red)
3rd time 7. (Green)
4th time 12. (Orange)
5th time 18. (Red)
Thast as far as I got so far colors may vary not sure though

I’m trying to figure out how is it possible to defeat giant stewie 5 times in 3 days? After my first defeat he has a 24 hour timer until I can defeat him again.

Hmmmm…mine will let me defeat him a 5th time. The timer, that is how much time you have left to max the Blam! count out to 25X (more info coming). He takes only 1 minute to regenerate and you can collect Pesticides and hit him again. 😉

I defeated him and tap on the convention center and it has the message saying he spawns in a minute but the span timer is a 24 hour one for me. Already messaged Tiny Co about it.

There’s a short minute cool down period (when he is unavailable to play). Then he sets a new 24 hour timer. This timer is NOT saying “you can’t play again until I count down”, instead it means, you MUST play again before it reaches zero, otherwise your current “streak” will reset to 1X.

It appears red shirt nerds no longer drop records which is a shame because I have literally gotten all 7 of them from the nerds. Quagmire hasn’t dropped a single one.
