Update 8/11: Quagmire’s 12hr Drink at the Clam task now can earn you Ice Cream Sundaes. Remember it’s still extra rare in drop rate…but it’s nice to have another character that can earn it 🙂
Also, Ron’s task to earn pesticides has now been split from his task to earn batteries. His 4hr task now will always drop green pesticide, and he has a new 8hr task Shop for Tough Guy Bandanas now has the chance to drop batteries (rare).

New Way to Earn Blam!:
Similar to defeating King Butt, this event now has Defeat Giant Stewie. This time you’re required to collect pesticides to defeat him.
You’ll find Giant Stewie on top of the Convention Center
And you’ll have to collect pesticides of various colors from characters and zapping mutant stewie’s to defeat him. You’ll have 24 hrs to defeat him for each time…ie get the right color and number of pesticides to defeat him. Each time you defeat him before the clock runs out you’ll earn more and more Blam!
When you tap on him you’ll see this screen…showing you what color and number you need:
We’ll have a full break down of Giant Stewie soon, but that’s the basic breakdown.

Fabulous Challenge:
This triggers by Peter once you’re on Part 4 of the Enfant Terrible questline. This week’s challenge is to defeat Giant Stewie 5 times in 3 days.
Don’t worry the clock won’t start until you get to part 4 of the main questline. Correction this is starting at part 2, part 3 and part 4 for some people. So assume it’ll kick in once you learn how to defeat stewie and have peter get pesticides. Basically don’t complete part 1 if you want to stall it.
So build up those pesticides…so you can defeat him quickly!

My android won’t load the game but my Ipad does. Weird. On my android it popped up an ad for another Rupert treasure thing but it won’t load enough to access it. And for your sake don’t bother posting the link about the ongoing problem. I know how to read comments. 😉 stay awesome people.

I broke down and bought bryan cranston. Best decision ever!!! Definately worth those clams i think its a better deal than that sommelier station glad I listened to alissa earlier in the event and waited til now to shell out the big clam bucks it was really good advice. Even though im way over what I told myself I was gonna spend, im very happy with my purchases. If ur a freemium player on the fence about making a purchase, this is the one, do it!

My suggestion don’t waste your money on the Rupert pesticides mystery boxes. Just invest in Bryan Cranston instead not only does he earn a LOT of pesticides with his two hour inspect house task. But he also has other item earning tasks and come on its Bryan Cranston he’s awesome lol.

I’ve been creeping on this site for awhile. I love it! I’ve been playing since mid April. I got the update yesterday, learned how to defeat Giant Stewie today, and finally unlocked regular Stewie. I set him on his first task, target practice, and left my phone to charge for a bit. Now my touch screen stops working every time I open the game. I then get a message telling me that it has stopped responding, and before I can choose stop, wait, or report, it shuts down and puts me back at my home screen. I can’t go to the help forum or anything. Very frustrating! Is anyone else having this problem? I have a Verizon prepaid Moto G, running the stock Kit Kat upgrade.

So there’s a new Rupert Mystery Box. But it costs clams this time. I’m enjoying the game and event a lot, but what’s the point of even having coins if they can’t be used on anything? 95 clams isn’t cheap, even for a premium player. Only a few things cost Blam, and everything else costs clams….lots of clams. It is kind of starting to feel like a middle finger to the freemium players, which I am not, by the way. I’ve been moderately premium. You’d think this particular box at least TinyCo could have provided for a coin cost like the 4th of July event. I’m tempted to try emailing them.

So I’ve noticed a couple things, wondered if anyone else was noticing them too. I’ve bought the Wacky Tube Man (and other items), then in turn won one of the same item due to event boxes. In my inventory, this item shows up twice. Also for some reason my Robobuttasaurus shrinks after I finish placing him, and my Gattomobile moves forward a space. None of these things are doing anything bad, I just end up putting Robo away and shift the car back a space to compensate for where it will move. But I was wondering if anyone else had these things happening before I sent a report to TinyCo

These are minor coding errors they are working on. The inventory is set up to separate bought items and “won” items. Some tasks require a “bought” item, so they are coded slightly different and the inventory “sees” them as different items. 🙂

TintCo must be laughing all the way to the bank from everyone complaining about latcher Stewie. They decreased the span rate and the maximum. Now I have lot’s of batteries and no latcher Stewie’s to zap. Next time just take a chill pill and see how it plays out for a week before throwing a hissy fit. OK?

Has anyone else reported crashing issues today? Has been crashing all day on me. On the load screen the yellow bar loads all the way and the music starts playing then it just crashes. Has even made my phone freeze twice. It’s not a network issue, everything else loads fine. On a Galaxy S4. Not very happy with this as I bought a 3600 clam package last night and my challenge timer is ticking away

Wish I had reported it earlier, after I got the package, got bryan and set everyone to a task. Woke up about 5 am mountain time to start driving (I’m a trucker) and it started doing it. I just blamed it on bad signal as i was in the middle of no where in Wyoming (looking back at it that made no sense as I had signal the night before). After taking a break in Cheyenne, Wyoming and Denver, Colorado both being larger cities and having great coverage I had a feeling it wasn’t the signal. Then came stopping for the night at a Flying J truck stop with great wifi and still had the issue yet I still thought it was my phone as no one reported on here yet

The problem I have most with all the new characters like Bryan Cranston is their involvement, lack thereof, with the actual show itself. Was Ron Perlman even in any family guy episodes? Were any of the new characters and I’m just missing it?
I could justify spending clams on Rupert or the chicken or greased up deaf guy because they’re part of the show and near to our hearts. That’s why I bought the premium characters (who have been useless for a while although I still have hope that that’ll change like it did with king butt).
I’m really looking to change my opinion though if anyone has a differing viewpoint. I hate feeling like there is a lack of relation to the show.

Sounds like a little coding glitch (like a reverse of the party camel glitch…it was small when you moved it, but big when placed, later it was corrected). The size of it in your town is it’s correct size.

If Bryan Cranston can’t be won without clams by the end of the event or bought with clams after, I will be deleting the game. You should be able to get all characters without forking over a bunch of money. I understand it takes money to make and maintain the game but loyal players shouldn’t have to fork out an absurd amount of money or even a little bit every week.
