Hello There Clammers!
Phase 4 of Comic Con is upon us! Another celebrity has hit our towns and Stewie has changed yet again! App Store Update has hit!
More details are on the way…just as soon as we go through everything ourselves. But for now…as usual…Peter kicks things off for phase 4! (note you have to have completed the Enfant Terrible Part 6 questline for phase 4 to start for you)
Warning Mild Spoilers Ahead
First let’s cover the new stuff….
When you first start the update you’ll go through the tutorial for bombing Stewie’s minions…THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! And can only be stopped by Bombs. Peter kicks off this part in the questline called Bombs Away. Here’s the basic details (As always we’ll have a FULL rundown post of the details in the Stewie Bombs soon):
Once you go through the tutorial you’ll have to reload to enable the full bomb feature in Quahog.
You’ll have to hard close out of your game and go back in to trigger it to reload.
Various tasks will earn more bombs…or (of course) you can spend clams on them and buy more:

District 9 is not in the game yet. It will require an update from TinyCo to be added and most likely that won’t occur until after comic-con ends (September 8th)

Tinyco should really make it so more stuff could not be so hard to get im still trying to get ron perlman and felicia day and ive been on this game like 24/7 and i still dont have enough blam i really want that stewie spawner-any tips plz also i cant afford clams so thats out of the question

Just utilize the time you have. If you can spend moments to send characters like Peter on his Surf the Bird task over and over, that will help with Blam!. Just try to go at whatever pace suits you. Try and complete the questlines it gives you and ONLY focus on the event characters. Do not try to unlock others that are around to stay.

I am totally lost. My game is still stuck in using pesticides. And I haven’t been bombing stewies I still have the ray gun. Should this have automatically updated or am I behind in the quest? So I have to wait before it happens.

Each Phase is a continuation of the previous one. You need to complete the prior Phase questline to move on to the next one. Can you tell me WHERE in the quests you are? Like if you tap on your task bar menu on the left side, what tasks are you currently trying to complete? Quahog Comic Con? Creature from the Goo Lagoon? Enfant Terrible? Let us know so we can help better.

I really like how they made Felicia interact with the ethereal forest! It’s a huge step from the alternative which was sending Peter to play with the washing machine and then never seeing him again for 12 hours. I hope they continue to add things like this. It adds a little more depth and detail.

okay so when I go to bomb the minion Stewie the camera zooms in and it makes sound effects but nothing happens and it like freezes but then Stewie and everyone else is still able to move so is this a glitch or something??

Sounds like it. Any troubleshooting done? Restart? Force Close? Have your account linked to email or FB so you can uninstall and reinstall and log back in?

Does it matter that when clicking on the notebook it doesnt show the red shirts as an option for getting one

This might have an answer I just read…someone mentioned the red shirt has to be currently in the town to show….it doesnt show as a option for the jazz records for ron either so ill check both next time a red shirt spawns…HOWEVER im concerned that the q hotel doesnt show as an option for the jazz record…just quagmire task and beatniks…ive had 5 of 10 for over a week…all from quag in the beginning then nothing

How far did you complete Giant Stewie’s questline? Enfant Terrible Part 6 is the very last of it. You defeat Giant Stewie 3 times to complete it. Have you done that yet?

This last event let me catch up to the Blam Calendar! Will have to get Fillion even if he costs lots if clams, as I actually did meet him at a Con this year with my daughter, and the mom comment they made in their announcement pop up couldn’t have been more spot on! 🙂

Yeah, my notebook quota is being filled entirely from red-shirt nerds. Need 1 more. Also, is the movie camera drop rate broken? It dropped 3 for me from bombing stewies on the first day I set Stan free, but I haven’t gotten one since from bombing (over 500+ stewies), the outhouse, patrick or Mort. Stuck at 3. Anyone else experience this?

I made a maze out of 25 coin bushes and now get around 10-15 octopus stewies each bomb. Is that cheating?

you have to leave a clear opening. At first I had mine opening on to the comic con sidewalk but they can’t walk there, so they considered it closed off and would walk through the fence. I took away the last section so they could exit into the grassy area and now they all go right there.

Finally unlocked the Hellboy this morning! Making pretty good headway on getting Stan’s stuff. Only 4,000 blam away from the Q hotel. Not bad at all considering I was only at about 20,000 blam several days ago, thank you Mr. Cranston!

So I was gonna buy Stan Lee, but noticed this and I didn’t know if anyone else has brought this to anyone’s attention. Usually if you buy each thing for a character, it’s cheaper than just unlocking them. To buy each piece for Stan Lee, would cost me 190 clams. However, to unlock him, it would only cost 145. Any explanation? Here’s a picture to explain better..

It is all about how you play the game. Buying it all in bulk in one fell swoop will usually be cheaper than one by one. The single price is for those that just want an item here n there. Make sense?

Hi this is my first comment but I’ve been reading on this site for a while. What is the best way to get blam because I only have 20,000 as my total and I can’t afford the blam for stan lee, felicia day, blobulous and the buildings I’m supposed to buy. I also don’t have many clams to buy the trucks.

Something you should do: send people with pesticide tasks on tasks to earn them and people with bombs on tasks with bombs. This way you can collect lots of blam 🙂
Also when is a walkthrough coming? Is bombs away pt6 the last part?
Currently ding well. Only need to build 1 more building and then I have all buildings. Need 2 more ice cream for blob.
Any tips on redesigning my town? I have problems with the school and police, hospital and stuff. All the shops and offices work well together but the other buildings meh can’t put them down some where.

Don’t know if you’ve mentioned this or not, but at some point you start to get quests that earn clams for bombing minions. I don’t recall the first level but it was something like “kill 3 minions with one bomb and get one clam.” It keeps increasing. I’m at bombing 10 minions with one bomb to get 10 clams.

Ron and Blobulous will collect them. Blobulous is probably your best bet…since you more than likely have Chris at the right level to unlock the quest

Phase 4 is the turning point for me. Thanks to Bryan Cranston, the minion stewies, and the giant stewie, I went from 22,000 blam a few days ago to 38,000! I’ve been able to keep the 25X multiplier with giant stewie going for 3 days now, unlocked Blobulous and Red Hot Lois finally! Bombed 300 stewies in just a day and got the tri-cycle. Only need 2 more film reels to unlock Ron Perlman, in the process of getting stuff for Stan Lee. I may try to get Felicia Day and Nathan Fillion so I can have my complete set and clams. So far, so good!

I still think the pesticides is the better bet…but that’s just because I stink at getting minions! So a combination of both is your best bet 🙂

A bomb is worth widely varying 45 B! To 200 B! depending upon your bombing prowess (3 to 10 or more B! scoring minions). A pesticide is worth a consistent 93 B! to 138 B! depending when you cash in.
Bombs do have the benefit of item drops, too.
I’m leaning towards pesticides right now because I have to spend less time on the game as school time demands approach.

My pesticide numbers were a bit off on the low end (I was going from memory and calculating in my head). If you turn in 29 pesticides for 2500 B! you get 86 B! per. I refuse to do that until the last hours if the event when you can’t wait 24 hours for a reset.

Personally I like killing giant Stewie…but many are saying bombing is the best for them. I think a combination of both is the best bet. I usually run 1 streak/day on Giant Stewie (going from 1 to max) and get over 3,000 Blam! for that…and if you kill stewie’s inbetween you’re set. 🙂
