Looks like they got rid of the tapping on stewie tip for bombing them with this devil stewie now they no longer flail when u hit them and the move like 1 second after instead of like 5 to 10 at least on my game they do (android) luckily I already got the statues and 100k so I don’t have to fret about it

Hi All! First time posting, love this site! I’ve just unlocked the George trophy, it’s lovely, I am having an issue though, George is currently in the Kitternet Cafe, but there is a mutant Stewie on the building, I bought a single battery for 15 clams (i know but couldn’t wait :/) and I zapped him, problem is my game just freezes, well the zapper freezes zoomed in, everything else continues to run (little stewies etc) but it won’t do anything and My George is stuck! I’ve tried everything, reload, waiting for well over 20 mins etc, anyone else got this issue? Should I contact tinyco or wait it out? Thanks guys, again love the site thanks for all the info 🙂 xxxx

Freemium player here – just unlocked GT @ 4:51pm central time today! w00t! Funny thing is that I still haven’t unlocked Ron yet (need 1 B&W Movie, 2 Jazz Records to unlock him). Unlocked Felicia and Stan before him. Lol. Great site! I’ve enjoyed reading all the articles and comments from fellow FG addicts 🙂

I noticed when I tap the robo brian or robo stewie, nothing happens. Did TinyCo temporarily disable them for the upcoming update?

It’s possible. They’re disabled in my game too, but you can still buy them in the store.

I’d love this statue and clams deal but I seriously suck at bombing those little bleeders!! I’ve tried removing all roads except one little patch for them to spawn in but they just run off!! What did you use to barricade them in? Because I seriously can’t see me getting anywhere near the 400 mark :-S

Anyone else having a hard time collecting missiles? Peter and Chris seems to never drop them. Felicia and Bonnie do occasionally, and I barely get any from zapping nerds! Ron doesn’t drop any at all! Anyone else going through this?

Yeah Red Hot Lois, Quagmire and Bonnie drop bombs for me like they’re extra rare or something. Stan drops them like a champ though! Sometimes 2 at a time

15 and then 15 again, like 30 i get every hour using Bunny`s spiral fence strategy(a few post back). I just reached 85.000 so lets see how much more minions that new building launches….
Freemium player and went from 40.000 to 85.000 in just 5 days using that strategy.

I’m currently playing the game on an iPhone 3gs. When I zoom in quite a lot, the graphics of the game get displayed in a very low pixellated resolution; not clear, sharp outlines like I see in your screenshots.

Is this supposed to happen when one zooms in a lot or is it something wrong just with me with my phone?

Hmmmm…best way to explain this. If a picture is taken on a small phone camera, the image will look a LOT different on it VS if you say…put it up on a GIANT IMAX screen. Certain images are only meant to be viewed at a certain ratio. Blow them up or enlarge them TOO much and they become distorted and/or hard to see. Just like a Blu Ray won’t look the same on a small 19″ regular TV VS a 64″ Flat Screen HD TV. You are basically forcing something out of its intended range or capabilities.

No…Limited time as in you have a limited time to earn them. If you fully unlock them they’re yours to keep…even after the event.

Using the tap method I got the 400 minions in less than a day, but when I try to place the Takei statue, the image won’t show up…. On android, is anyone else having this problem?

It was a glitch yesterday, but supposedly it was fixed. See if it’s there now, if not send an in game message to TinyCo about it 🙂

This happened to me yesterday as well. I earned the trophy while I was using 4g and the trophy image finally showed up hours later when I first connected to my wifi. I am not sure if that was a coincidence or not.

I’ve been playing for roughly two months and only found this group in time to snatch King Butt from the jaws of failure. Now I feel I have something to contribute and a question as well. As to the contribution:
I saw a comment from someone who was eliminating most of their roads in an attempt to bomb more Stewies. To be honest, my Quahog is a mess. However, I have one three – way intersection near the middle of my map which seems to be a converging point for Mutant Stewies moving across the map. I discovered I could tap on a Stewie and he would squirt ink and stay put for a while. Most (but not all) of the time I have found that if you click on a Stewie moving in one direction he will move in the opposite direction. I use this paired with the fact if you tap on them they will stay put for 6-8 seconds to my advantage. I tap the bomb and center my sights on the intersection. Then I exit and tap furiously on any Stewie in the center of the intersection. I’ve found that if I am patient and relentless in my tapping I can suddenly hit the bomb and then the bombs away button with many Stewies in the center of my sights. Some tend to walk away fast enough to avoid the cloud but I have managed to regularly get 9-14 Stewies at one time with this technique. So there, use the Stewie paralysis to your advantage to maximize your hits per bomb.
Now to the question. My Galaxy S4 (Verizon) apparently just destroyed my Micro SD card. It got really hot last night (which I cooled down with ice packs from the freezer) and was good overnight on the charger. As I was walking towards the bus stop this morning I felt a buzz. Upon inspection my phone was turning off. It took most of the bus ride to work but I managed to turn it back on. I got a message that my “SD card was blank, press OK to format (all data will be lost). I had just recently moved my Family Guy app to my SD card. Nothing will recognize the card, not my Mac nor my PC. Am I royally screwed?? I ordered a new micro SD from Amazon but it won’t get here till Friday. In the meantime my Stewies towards the challenge and GT meme and the entire app in general is on hold for now. What options do I have?

My GS4 seems to have issues too ever since the latest update they did to them (also Verizon). I don’t know what the deal is. I wonder if its the phones themselves. Constant overheating. As for the game. Did you by chance ever link it to an email or to any Facebook account? THAT is where the data can get saved to for easy recovery. If you had linked it to a Facebook, you would of had friends other than Ollie to visit.
If it was linked, it is just a matter of logging back in and all your data will be recovered from your point in the game just fine. Let me know and we can go from there.

Is anyone else finding that since this new limited time Stewie quest came up the characters are dropping less missiles? I’m only getting one per 2 hours out of Felicia, Chris, Peter, Lois and Ron. That doesn’t feel like an uncommon drop…

Honestly, at the start of the event, I didn’t think I’d get close to Takei in this, but now on the verge if having 90K Blam, I should get him in the next two days. This is just awesome, having got Stan Lee yesterday, I look forward to getting Nathan Fillion in preparation for the next round of Stewie madness!
Who knows, maybe I’ll be able to get Bryan Cranston, but I’m still halfway in clams. But with the fun and extra clams TC have put in, it may happen. *fingers crossed*

I wonder how many of us are having more crashes during this event. It’s been fine until a day ago and today the game crashed about 15 times. And I have an iPad Air. Plenty of memory. This is getting really annoying.

It’s a TON of stuff with this event (i can’t wait till it’s over so it’ll stop hogging my phone’s memory!) that’s causing the crashes. As it progresses each week more stuff is added, more stuff = more crashes.

Got it done….wohoo! I now am sitting at 93k in blam. Not bad for all free play! I should have GT by tomorrow! When I started playing this game I started with only 5 days left for the king butt thing and failed miserably….

Cool! With all these clam prizes, I have now accumulated 453 clams without spending any money. The Multiplier costume for Quagmire will bring in another 25 clams. I will be only 22 clams away from Bryan Cranston!

I had started playing this game a couple of days before the Comic Con event hit, hecne, I didnt have many buildings or characters available to help me buy anything. I thought the maximum prize I would have gotten was Red Hot, if I was lucky, but with all these new ways to play, I’m a lil bit away from the Q, and Takei looks acheivable now. I just need about 3000 Blam a day for the remainder of the event to get him. I’m getting about 8000 a day. 🙂
Also, I’m a purely freemium player. Have not bought a thing.

Just got to 200 minions blasted. I can sleep now knowing the next few days won’t be as big a rush. Also managed to get stan lee and reached 85k for the factory today. It was a good day in quahog 🙂
As a more casual addict I’m loving the pacing for this event because I know I’ll reach 100k without too much of a stretch. My question is do the hardcore tappers feel this event was too easy? I imagine you got 100k ages ago as I have no premium buildings, only tap every 4 hours and still think I’ll finish with 2 weeks to spare.

Stewie to the rescue! Even with Android starting a week behind almost everyone who plays should easily get GT. The pesticides and Giant Stewie generate tons of Blam! I have almost 150,000 and 85,000 on the top. My only purchase was Brian Cranston and I am sure that I would have gotten to GT by the end of the event without him. Hate to say it but it is going to be hard to go back to the regular game after all of this fun mayhem. I got the GT Trophy easily by using a simple method that did not require rearranging my town or roads. I just put up a simple maze of chain link fence rows with gaps in them next to Quagmires house. Then 1 extra section of road on the corner. If you wait as long as possible to pull the trigger on the first one, more will usually come into the blast. No furious tapping required. You do have to wait for the right moment and fire ahead of the first target. Easy to get 6 or 7 at a time. 10 might also take a tap or two. Remember that if the are going towards the blast they will be killed. If they are beyond the center point of the blast moving away they will out run it and escape.

Almost at 80k blam, blasting Stewies left and fight gonna be at 100k in no time. Already got over 250 Stewies on this recent quest line, should be done by tonight or tomorrow morning.
