Hello There Clammers!
How are my favorite Clammers? Everyone racking up as much Blam! as you can? So now that we’ve got all these mutated Stewie’s everywhere everyone should be earning that Blam! at a decent rate. So whatcha gonna do with all that Blam! you’re collecting? Besides get one heck of an energy drink buzz, you’ll unlock really cool prizes of course!
While many items during the event will cost you some Blam! (or clams), the cool thing about Comic-Con is you’ll earn prizes at various collection points along the way. AND…these prizes won’t take from your Blam! on hand! After all, who couldn’t use a little Blam! pick me up every now and then? So let’s take a look at the 7th prize you’ll unlock during Quahog Comic-Con…The “Q” Hotel…
WARNING….MILD SPOILERS AHEAD
There are a total of 10 Blam! prizes ranging in cost from 65 Blam! up to 100,000 Blam! The 7th Blam! prizes is awarded at 50,000 Blam! collected. Remember these are total collected (bottom right) NOT current on hand (top left, next to cash). So it’s a running total for the entire event, so even if you lose some Blam! along the way you’ll still unlock the prizes when your OVERALL total reaches the unlock point.
So let’s break the “Q” down shall we?
“Q” Hotel
Prize: Seventh prize unlocked
Unlock Point: 50.000 Blam! Collected
Does it Do Anything?: Yes, earns coins and XP and spawns MORE Nerds.
Personal Thought: I love this prize! It’s a great way to keep a building from the Comic-Con District even after the event is over! Plus, as an added bonus, this will permanently spawn nerds….even AFTER the event is over. Thus giving you a chance to earn clams from tapping them 🙂
The only downside, for me, is it doesn’t earn Blam! or drop STUFF like the one in the Comic-Con District. Otherwise…I’m a fan!

So what’s the deal here? The event has been over for quite some time now and I haven’t had any nerds spawn from my Q hotel that I won from collecting enough blam!. I was under the impression that it would continue to spawn nerds even after the event ends. Haven’t seen any since the event ended.

Is the Q-Hotel prize (if won) really going to keep spawning nerds? I thought I read on the Help & Support section in the game that it won’t. Maybe I read wrong. It would be so cool if it would continue to do that to capture clams.

They initially said the plan was to have it spawn permanently, then they changed it in the FAQ. So we’re just awaiting final confirmation about it

I have bought and received all of the awards and building with Blam, is there going to be a currency exchange at this end of this, or more buildings to buy?

I noticed with the demon stewie update that this prize building is now only spawning 1 yellow shirt nerd every 6 hours.

I’m over 81,000 blam right now! I’m hoping by killing giant stewie and killing minion stewies I can reach 100,000 and claim the 10th prize without spending clams! The hints here work great!

Is anyone else experiencing lag with game crashes? well, up until GMT 00:30 (ish). Ive perfomed the standard uninstall and factory reset but still it persists…

Are the nerd spawns from this suppose to pop right in front of it or added to the regular spawn spot? I got it a couple days ago and placed it way over on the right of D8 and have had zero nerds spawn in that location.

I have my Q Hotel in my “Entertainment District” next to the Quahog Playhouse and the Barrington Hotel.
On a slightly off-topic note, I unlocked George Takei today!!! Thanks to this AMAZING website, I was able to unlock him much sooner than I thought I would, without spending a single dollar! You guys are awesome. Thank you for all of the updates.
I also have to give huge props to TinyCo for listening to their fans this time around. They have given players a lot of opportunities to earn the items they need to unlock characters and complete quests, much better than Kingdom of the Full Moon. I don’t know about everyone else, but I got a ton of items just from bombing Stewies and Nerd Drops. When I first started the event I thought there was no possible way that I could get George without purchasing a bunch of clam items, but I’m glad that I was wrong. We have 20 days left and now I’m looking forward to having some real fun with this event.

I love that it will continue to spawn nerds after the event and it doesn’t take away from your Blam count. What a great souvenir. @Reuben: Nerd girls would be nice; They could be anime cosplay or just fangirls.

Anyone who doesn’t think these spawn nerds should check their towns at 2 or 8 o’clock EDT. There should be 4 yellow shirt nerds roaming around — 2 from the event building & 2 spawned randomly about town from this prize building.
On the nerd spawning note, I was hoping they would add some green skinned girlie nerds into the mix at some point. I imagine if they do at this point tho they will be like those mega mummy hags that vomited all over town, but cost clams to get them.

It generates 2 extra YELLOW nerds every 6 hours (at the same time your normal yellow nerds show up). Since the Yellow nerd max is 4, folks who don’t log into their game every 6 hours (7am,1pm,7pm,1am CT) would likely not notice the change since they’re used to seeing 4 yellow nerds running about.

Quick question guys, im very behind on the event so not expecting to get that much. But i have about 5,000 spending blam but dont know what to spend it on. I am missing some thing for ron perlman but havent tapped the blam check yet, i now have giant stewie in town so the training montage center is good for dropping pesticides, and i have the quest to buy the fab four headquarters. What should i spend my blam on first? Ron, traing center, fab four, or other?

Fab 4 is part of the quest for Giant Stewie and once you complete his quests…the minions will come with MORE Blam! earning possibilities. So my suggestion is that. Then Ron.

Got the Q hotel last week placed it near my other hotel looks good, on 91,000 blam s very close to George now 🙂 as there is still some time to go hoping they will add new stuff, how about Spock, would be logical.

I just unlocked Q this past Sunday, and I placed it next to my Fabulous Four and Latrine of Solitude buildings. They form the northern edge of my Stewie minion funnel. The buildings are set up to zig-zag the minions to a capture area.

I would actually love to have the “Q” Hotel before it was converted to it’s current state – before it was restored for the Comic-con, at the start of this event. Anyone else recall that ? I thought it was more “Quahog”-ish.

I love this prize. I thought it could drop prizes as well, but as you I’m a fan. I wish characters from previous events, or characters you buy had more impact in the game and future events. Seems like a waste just having them around doing the same thing for nothing.

Wow, I didn’t know it would still spawn nerds after the Comic-con event. That’s a nice lil bonus :). I just wish the Clamterprise was one of the Blam prizes. Would love to have it, but doubtful I could get it from the Brian box in a few tries given that it has such a low percentage. Is there another way to get this fantastic ship?

Yeh too bad you have to drop 75-150 clams to get this bad boy… the only upside is that the “random generator” for prizes will never drop the same prize twice but that’s like saying: Oh hey you wasted your money but don’t worry you might get it NEXT time. It really discourages me from gambling for buildings lol.

I can tell you that its stupid… I have the clamterprise and it does nothing… It doesn’t drop things, its just moving up and down sometimes… It was not worth the 75clams

The Max was normally 4. Just keep watching. Mine gradually increased.

Keep an eye out. They POOF on the sidewalks, not from the buildings. They have been gradually increasing in my town.

got the Q hotel a few days ago and have not had any nerds come out of it… is this another glitch?
i only get $ and XP points every 2 hours.

They show up in a puff of smoke along the sidewalks. You may not even notice if you are not watching. They gradually increase.

In what rate does it spawn nerds? I unlocked it today, but haven’t seen any nerds come out of it… And which nerds does it spawn? Orange, red or blue???

As it is not in full “play”, we do not have the exact stats on them. I have seen at least 2 come out when they spawn (they poof onto the sidewalks like the minions). And have had up to 12 running round my town. Yellow/Orange ones. 😉

I’d really really love to have as well the convention center together with the Q hotel and the clamterprise.
Any news on whether or not the convention center will be obtainable to add to our quahog? I’ve contacted tinyco whether or not they’ll be adding it but they gave me no concrete reply 😦

I have it and although I like it I think the convention center would have been a nice prize to have but I’m good with the Q anyway I’m really enjoying this event and I am at just over 90k in blam so all I have left to earn is George takei 😆😆

Like you say it would be better if it had a chance of dropping the same items the other Q hotel offers, but other than that it’s a good building. It’s the same with the Clamterprise – that one doesn’t even give you the money/XP let alone the Clamterprise items…
