Biggest Change….Stewie has Mutated AGAIN:
Giant Stewie is no longer in Quahog…instead he’s replaced by Demon Stewie. He’ll loom over your Convention Center and you have to attack him, just you Giant Stewie…only this time with Harpoons!
Defeat Demon Stewie with Harpoons:
So at this point pesticides are no longer valid in the game. HOWEVER…TinyCo has provided a FREE pesticide conversion box. Where you can convert pesticides you had to Harpoons.
Conversion Boxes:
At this point pesticides are useless…so you’ll have to convert what you have into Harpoons by using the Conversion box:
(Side note from Bunny: Rupert is Dr Manhattan from Watchmen for those curious. Hence…the box placement. Lol. )
Inside you’ll be able to convert your pesticides to various amounts of Harpoons in the varieties required to beat Stewie:
New Questlines:
Stan and Felicia BOTH got new Questlines AND tasks (We’ll have more on those later). Stan the Man, Stan kicks off, and Feminerd, Felicia Kicks off. (hmmm are they channeling Bunny???)
New Character:
New premium character released…Nathan Fillion. He’ll cost 250 Clams.
He will ALWAYS drop 3 Harpoons with his 4hr task.

Multiplier has been released for Quagmire!

Just to let you know that i did get a refund in clams for my accidental purchase of a second stan lee trailer in the msg they basically told me that next time they won’t but they didn’t remove the trailer but still am so happy right now coz now I can buy what I intended Iam so happy with tiny co and that they seem to be really trying to help us now 🙂 I just wish I could show them how grateful iam

Anyone else having problems with zapping latcher stewie on buildings that contain characters completing tasks??? My game always freezes and getting a little ticked that I can’t progress certain things until he moves his rear! Grrrr

Yes. There is issues with Latcher trapping people inside. They in return have now pushed his jump time to 2hrs so he will hopefully move on and you can get them out.

Is there more to Felicia’s new questline past part 1? I’m asking because I *think* I’ve done 2 tasks for it – the second being Drink Gross Local Beers – but may have gotten kicked out of the second. But I don’t know if there should be a part 3 popping up (so therefore don’t know if something went wrong, or if the questline is over and I just spaced it). 🙂

After nearly three days of bombing minions, I have yet to see one drop a porno mag.

Yeah it’s weird. I got the movie cameras with Stan much quicker when bombing Minions; and those were extra rare. These “rare” mags have a lower drop rate than extra rare items. The only thing I can think of is you get a chance at 1 mag per bomb regardless of how many minions you killed with the bomb. In which case figure how many times you’ve bombed not how many minions you’ve killed. I think the Stan cameras came via a chance on each individual minion killed hence the faster drop rate on extra rate cameras.

I did get two mags with one bomb hitting 15 Stewies. Of course this was after several days of none. Still only up to 5.

Wow now it’s beyond frustrating. Anyone having problems with magazines? I have killed around 550 minions and have had Quaqmire write Haikus like 6 times and have 4 magazines. Have all the lotions already and also 5 calculators, but no mags. Also, the last 5 latcher stewies I killed dropped nothing. Aren’t they supposed to at least drop a harpoon?
I guess i’ll keep plugging away, but wonder why the drop rate is so poor.

The drops are random for all. There is no “always” for the Zapper other than always Blam! Many are stating lil to no mags. All I can say is report it to TinyCo and maybe they will up the drop rate on it. In the meantime, it seems like another Eyeball/Headband kind of drop.

I’m with you. Magazines are all I need and I only have 8/20. They straight up *do not* drop from bombing mutant Stewies on my game.

I love the game, but I fail to see how “Extra Rare” is easier to obtain than “Rare”, especially when the lotions flew out like crazy.

Is Fillion’s Maid Service a unique building in the game? Ex. you can only have 1 in your town, because that’s how my game is. Been buying every freemium building twice except for this one.

Just reached the 30x bonus on demon stewie. “Demon Stewie streak bonus” quest did not complete. Unlocked George Takei as well. No 100 clam reward.

Nicholas, I have a question. Did the meter just fill up, or has it filled and then you got the bonus? If you just got 2250 Blam!, then you still have to hit Demon Stewie again to complete the mission. If you just got 4050 Blam! and it did not finish, then there is a problem.

They need to swap out one of Peter’s tasks for the calculator. It is just stupid that he has two tasks for one item when they could have done something like make Mort’s Fundraiser task drop the calculator.

Even if they wanted to make it one of those sundae items where only one person + latcher + premium yields results, two on Peter just seems sloppy. Almost lazy. Almost incompetent.
Tinyco is none of these things btw. I’ve never been more impressed by a f2p mobile game company. I would bet all my coins\blam\clams it will get switched or removed. Hopefully switched. I liked your idea of the Mort fundraiser due to the icon. Wouldn’t hurt having a 12 hour task with two potential drop (cameras too).

I wouldn’t mind so much if they just transferred the quest over to the porno mags. Having just two ways to get those seems a little small especially with how much less they are dropping than the other items. I have 7/10 calculators I’m done with the lotions but only 7/20 porno mags I feel like I should have a lot more than that considering the calculators are extra rare and they seem to be dropping more than the rare porno mags.

Thank you Kitten and thank you Bunny. I actually have written to them about this. I just posted here because this is a great community for the game and I wanted to see if anyone else had noticed. The lotion is coming along a little too easily (giggity) and I honestly have been lax on bombing Minion Stewies for porno mags since I unlocked George Takei earlier in the week. I have a stock of like 30 bombs (never paid a dime). Other than that, loving this event and hope DIstrict 9 opens up after (aliens?).

Thank you Demon Stewie, only 7 thousand Blam to go and I shall have George Takei. Got Nathan immediately. On the inside I am still the 11 – 18 year old Buffy Nerd lol. I just wish Bryan was a lot cheaper so I could complete the set. Do you think they would make him for “sale” for Blam near the end of the event (when he is basically “no good” for the event anymore)? It would be a great way to get rid of some of that remaining Blam

Good luck on that last run to 100K! I wish Bryan Cranston were cheaper as well. Either that or that they had not made Nathan Fillion a premium character. 750 clams to complete the Comic Con character set is ridiculous to me even if I were a person that put money into the game. I am still not really mad though because this event has (so far) basically given me over 200 clams and if I do not make enough in the next two weeks, at least I can unlock Consuela and maybe one or two others.

We were kinda surprised there wasnt a drop last night of a harpoon building. But then again, many complain when they do drop these buildings for Clams. So don’t know.

Yeah people threw a fit over the pesticide boxes!! This challenge is going to be difficult though. Im sure we will see some harpoon box action soon. The game is getting harder which I like. Wouldn’t be fun if it got easier! 🙂

Had a dumb question. After you defeat stewie for the 30x streak, does it reset back to the first streak? Trying to time it so I could get the bike.

Have a complete rundown on Demon Stewie coming up shortly. Basically the timer has a 24hr clock. You can hit him over n over n over and keep resetting that clock…OR…stop attacking him. Let him be. And that clock will run down to 0 and reset Demon Stewie back to 1X.

Big changes
Did you decrease the drop rate of pesticide bombs? It seems like I’m getting half to a third of the bombs I used to. Secondly giant mutant stewie is now only defeat able with high tech harpoons. First time I vanquished him was for high tech and the second and the third time wanted them too. I let it reset this morning and again it called for high tech. After vanquishing him again it wanted more high tech harpoons!!! I haven’t had a problem completing the weekend quests to earn the special vehicle but seriously 9 times especially if all it wants is high tech harpoons I fear I will be missing this one. Please fix this it’s really frustrating.

That being said, WE didn’t change anything. Nor can WE fix anything. That…you will need to speak with TinyCo on.
As far as providing you with help, details, and information…THAT we CAN do and are happy to help out. The Harpoons will vary. You may get a mix or you may get the same one repeated. It is all random so there is no way of knowing. If you would like, feel free to contact TinyCo and express your thoughts on this. You can contact them right from your game menu.

Just started using harpoons on Demon Stewie. Lucky when I killed him the first time all the other quest involving him poped up so I was able to unlocked them with early harpoons.
So far 4/9 with 3d and 23h. I can do a 2,2 and then a 1 to unlock the bike. Hopefully it doesn’t require too much Modern Harpoons and I only have 18 of them while I have over 40 each on the other 2. :S

What’s up with bombing the mini Stewies? I can have 15-20 together & bomb and maybe I will get 3 now. I was getting 15 all the time. Also why do I get money on some of them and not blam?

That is odd. Been using my maze set up and get 15 every time til there are only a few left. Then its like 7-12 depending how long I waited to let them spawn.
Coins and Blam! will drop. They are separate from materials, but just something they added in.

Thanks again for putting all this info together, guys (or rather gals, for the most part at least!)! I am still a freemium player, but they’ve been rather generous with clams so far this event so I decided, as a huge Firefly fan, to bite the bullet and pay 250 clams for Nathan.
Was on an international trip with no data plan and limited wifi, so I may or may not be able to finish the 400 minion bombing today…
People seem to be saying that Stewie’s 4 hour task drops one of each harpoon, but that doesn’t seem to be the case for me, just one random one of the three. Did I misunderstand/people were wrong, or is my game having a minor glitch?

I have a detailed post hitting shortly will all the Demon Stewie info. Lil Stewie does have a task and the payout it is:
Stewie Revise Harpoon Design 4hrs/ $50, 30XP 5 Blam!/ 1 High-Tech Harpoon or 1 Modern Harpoon or 1 Old Timey Harpoon
So it is only one of the 3. Only one I saw that gives one of ALL 3 is Nathan. Cranston gives 1 High-Tech and 1 Old Timey

When I bomb the minion stewies, I seem to be getting coins to drop rather then an item I need for the new costume. Does anybody know if this is a glitch? Or will blam, coins and items drop? I just don’t want to complain to tinyco if it’s a normal thing thanks

Blam! and coins will drop, however they are separate from items. Just keep trying and you will see items pop out here and there too. If however you feel there is an issue with items dropping for you, please reach out to TinyCo via your in game menu.

In order to progress to another phase, the previous one has to be completed. Are you all done with the Minion tasks? Bombs Away Part 7 Completed?

Before the update last week I received bombs, battery’s and items on a regular bases. I did’t even have to send my characters on tasks for battery’s and bombs. Now i’m always short on bombs and battery’s they seem to drop way less than before update last week. I send the characters on tasks to warm them but that doesn’t help much. This makes it really hard to bomb and zap stewie. Battery’s are dropping from nerds once a day. There is an overal increase of items dropping in my town. Did anyone notice this? And can it be fixed? Thanks

Materials will vary. I still get bombs mainly from Nerds. I also get them from character tasks, but the Nerds always seemed to provide me with enough to keep going. I also have my maze set up so each bomb gets the most action possible and I don’t have to waste on tiny amounts of minions.

How long can I wait to start the 4th car challenge?
With this I mean beating demon stewie for the 1st time which would lead to the pop-up and the new car challenge (so NOT the 4 day timer).
I want to wait a bit so I can build up the amount of harpoons. So I’m curious to know how long I can wait before the car challenge (pop up) will no longer appear.

That depends on when YOU trigger the pop up. So I can’t say. Once it is triggered the timer will start. I assume you have til the end of the week to trigger it at least.

30 multiplier Shouldn’t be a hard quest if you play regularly.

If you start at 8 am you get 3 every 2 hours and 7 every 4. That makes 10 every 4 hours which is 40 in a 16 hour day plus 1 from Seamus

You need to complete all the previous phase questlines to trigger the next. So prior to this one was Minion Stewie’s Bombs Away. You need to have completed Part 7 to launch into this one.

Love love love that Tinyco listens to us. Giving small advantages for people that have put time in is cool. People that have played beforethis event should have Seamus so the one extra harpoon a day is nice (without being a massive advantage over newest players). Giving Stewie (the newest character via districts) full rockstar advantage is fair as well..newer players will realize this on the Tricia unlock quest alone.. Then you also have Nathan F. On sale for a reasonable cost…after the slightly insane price of Cranston is was welcomed (plus if Fillion outsells Cranston by over double they will feel the sting of what they could of made off him). Enjoying the quest of collecting items for Quagmire as I save up Harpoons for my first run at Mutant Stewie..add the season premiere of Doctor Who this weekend and we have a solid weekend (Hey Tinyco did you forget about Super Joe? ..hate whining about him after all of the awesome they have done…but kinda of a dick move to show a pic of him over a month ago and not release him by now)

Oh my God today was the sickest day of FG:QfS ever. It started good by getting the Robuttasaurus prize, then I finally reached 300 Clams the Freemium way (after accidentally wasting 100) and bought Consuela. Then I finally unlocked Ron Perlman (Red Shirts started dropping records again) followed shortly by unlocking Stan Lee. Then I used the 50 Clams from the celebrities set to by Jake Tucker.
So yeah, 4 characters in 1 day, plus a prize. So cool.

I don’t understand the introduction of Nathan Fillion for clams. Wasn’t the original understanding that there would be a new celebrity introduced each Friday (e.g. Felicia Day, Stan Lee, Ron Perlman) for us to earn through gameplay? The intro of Filion for clams seems strange. Man, is this new harpoon thing horrible. I guess I’ll just stick to freemium play as I have no idea what to expect from the game at any given moment.

Those ARE the ones you got from Game Play, the 3 you listed. Others are also in addition to those. It is up to you whether you want to be Premium or not. Harpoon is pretty much exactly like the pesticide. Earn, attack, get lots of Blam!, repeat. 😉

I have so been looking forward to Nathan Fillion since the beginning of the comic-con event. I have done the tasks to unlock the the other three weekly characters, but I am kind of PISSED that the only way to get Nathan Fillion is by spending $10 worth of clams. I just hope that the price drops at the end of the event when his harpoon action is worthless.

movie set glitch – so i was killing mutant stewie – had down the first 4 kills – at 5/8/11/15 harpoons – and then I was letting it reset after 24 hours – so I had not yet hit the 30x mark. I was gathering my harpoons this evening – and when I got a harpoon from patrick stewart – I received a message: congratulations you have hit the 30x mark and you have unlocked the action movie set (or something like that) and it is in your inventory. low and behold – i checked my inventory and there it was – so i added it to my land. If i check mutant stewie I have still only killed him 3 times towards the bike (4 times total) and have yet to use the 20 harpoons at the 30x level. has anyone else received the movie set yet? without actually hitting the 30x mark? it looks like we might be able to get multiple movie sets – since in my inventory it listed movie set x 1.

It happened to me today too. I was like cool now all I need to do is beat him 6 more time. My game plan is beat him three times let it reset and do it again and I will have the challenge complete. Then all I have left to do is finish unlocking the multiplier and I am fully finished with the Comic-Con event.

It’s a 4hr task, but there are plenty of other characters that will earn you Harpoons, so don’t stress about just stewie 🙂

Has anyone else have the problem of not getting the magazines for the multiplier? I’m almost done with the other items but haven’t gotten one magazine yet. I don’t want to spend clams on the building that drop them cuz it’s ugly.

both the mags and the calculators are my big problems. i only have one calculator so far. there are just not many ways to get calculators compared to the other items

I’ve tried everything, killed hundreds of minions, wrote a few haiku. Not a single magazine. Did a reset of the game, even uninstalled and reinstalled.

Oh yes, big time. I have bombed (I am keeping count) 350 minion Stewies, and had Quagmire do the Haiku 3 times and I have 3 magazine. I have 8 lotions from Latcher Stewie and Jerome and 3 Calculators from Latchers. I don’t use batteries, so my drop ratio for lotions and calculators is like 70% but I am less than 1% for my drop rate on magazines. Already restarted, reloaded, nothing works…so if I don’t get mags, when I collect the amount for the other two items I might just blow through some clams.

I am having similar troubles. I can get calculators from the latchers, but have only gotten one mag and that was from Quagmire doing his task. I have bombed well over 100 minions and nothing from them. I am on iOS. I just sent a notification in to TinyCo.

Shamous (I think I spelt that right) also has a 24 hour task that earns harpoons, called whittling harpoons.

Has anyone else not got these updates. My app does not say it has updates, I have Stan Lee to unlock, have the tricycle quest line, but I don’t see anything about a demon stewie. I feel like I’m missing something.

So, I’ve been doing quagmires haiku task on repeat, and bombing and endless number of minion stewies, but I haven’t received a single porno mag. I’m almost finished collecting both the lotions and calculators. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? They are only listed as “rare,” which is what is really stumping me.

Didnt take long to vanquish demon stewie 9 times when harpoons are 4 clams from sheamus.
Do still have a Stan Lee quest which will be done in morning and Nathan Fillion in the afternoon.
I liked the conversion box, hope I get one for batteries soon id like more bombs or harpoons.

Glitch… I’ve collected loads of harpoons but when it comes to using them on demon stewie it goes to the cinematic sequence and stays frozen on it.. demon stewie doesn’t appear on the roof and everyone else is walking about still.. can’t get off the screen.. tried 5 or so times now and keep having to close the game. Any fixes?

Basic troubleshooting is force close the game. Restart device. Or if you have your game saved to an email or Facebook, then uninstall/reinstall and log back in to the saved game.

Do you only have one shot to get the streak going to win the movie set? If you break your streak, will that quest disappear? I will most likely have to break my streak in order to defeat him 9 times in 4 days.

Not as far as I know. It should stay til you get the first streak and win it. Regardless when that streak is.
