Now that is out of the way, if you continue playing through the questline AND have Stewie’s hidden task after winning his gift, you will trigger “Dry as a Fruitcake”. Part 1 of this is to “Have Stewie Borrow Something Sharp”. You will first off need to have Stewie unlocked in your game (District 8), and he will perform the task at the Griffin’s House. On top of all this…you ALSO need to have the latest version of the game. So, if you are NOT on 1.5.5, you will most likely NOT see this task until you update.

So excited today I beat the king yeti finished Santa’s list and finally got puppy Brian (I wanted to make sure I got Jesus first) this event has been the best yet I know have everything this event offered besides the kiss guys (for me I just didn’t want to spend the clams on them) I’m excited for this event to be over so we can get to the next district and the time machine

Do we just need angel Bruce to trigger the weekly challenge (Rudolph the rabid reindeer)? I’ve heard you also need to have completed part 3 or 4 of the “A Very Jewish Christmas” questions, but part 2 won’t trigger for me. I don’t care so much about completing the questline if it’s just for cc and hc, but I’d like to know ahead of time if I need it to get the prizes.

Yes…You HAVE to trigger the challenge after Angel Bruce to get the final items. If you do not, then you won’t get them.

I got the challenge after unlocking angel Bruce. I did finally trigger parts 2 and 3 of a very Jewish Christmas but will unlikely be able to complete them since I do not have District 7 or 8 unlocked

The Christmas event has been very good to me. I just bought Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. I only need the Cake and the Reindeer to complete the list. Probably won’t get puppy Brian but I will likely get Jesus. Thank you so much for guiding me. I probably wouldn’t have got Jasper within 5 days if it weren’t for you guys letting us know what was required. You guys are awesome!!!

I’ve read here a couple times that king yeti doesn’t have a timer. Um, mine does and since I read that he didn’t, I put the yeti defeaters on other tasks. Now I’m afraid I’ll have to start over from the bottom yeti again to work back up to king yeti to defeat to win him. Bummer.

King Yeti Decoration that you can win does NOT have a timer on it. So you have til end of the event. This has nothing to do with the actual Yeti you defeat.

oddly enough, i got all the items in the sleigh bell gift box, but it doesn’t go away. perhaps one of the tasks i haven’t reached yet requires the wrapping of a sleigh bell gift box.

This happened to me at first I wrapped another one and got cookies wish i would have had more stocking to try and get some clams. I assumed a quest to open one was coming but after a little while it locked on its own. I have not seen a quest mentioned by anyone for this giftbox.

All the gift boxes were needed in each phases main walkthrough to open one at some point. It cause mass chaos when the event first hit as many cleared the boxes before the challenge, so they got hung up. Now…they made it hang around just in case.

There is not timer on WINNING a King Yeti decoration. That has nothing to do with the timer on defeating him. That is still in place. So yes, you have til end of event to keep trying to win the decoration. 😉

Don’t complain about too many cookies! I can’t seem to get enough to get angel bruce or the last three items off wishlist let alone polka dot gift box as I only have 530 cookies! I didn’t even spend them on decorations unless asked for by quests. Also only just getting somewhere with yeti now i’ve finally got jingle joe so only 5 snowflakes too.. It’s strage cos I have been playing all day every day so thought it would be easy without buying clams. All that aside, christmas is fun, I especially like the demented elf after watching the episode with them in yesterday! (‘Christmas is killing us!’)

I actually had bought Brian then the last 4 gift boxes meaning earning Santa (while getting stuff for angel Bruce) Then I got Angel Bruce folled by the Freedium Boxes with the Santa Prize Cookies (didn’t get a single clam in that box or the Gold box, which I’d bought twice, once having the bunny slope in it)
For those Needing to Kill the Yeti… Here’s a trick to do it (hopefully this won’t result in future events having the trick removed….) If you can get all of your people fighting him and you can get him down to say 1 or 2 hp Stop There… Make sure you have everyone attacking then wait till everyone is ready to throw thier snow ball and then finish him off (you should have Up To 5 people Lois, Joe, John Maclane, Mort, Jesus who can attack) if one (Say Lois) has attacked then you have the other 4 left since Jesus and John have a min attack of two each plus Joe and Mort (min 1 each) for a total of 6 points off of the Yeti at the min…. At max you take 3 each using Jesus and John and 2 points each for Joe meaning 4 more points for a total of 10 points off the moment he arrives You wait (with the checkmark over their heads) until he comes back and then you attack (making sure that the first person (Lois in this example) is ready to attack also

I Tried to leave a comment last night but for some reason it seems to fail to have been approved by the Admin (Though as far as I know it violated no rules).
In a nut shell there’s plenty of time left to get it With the Yeti you can get 1,000 per a defeat Add to that the amount you get from finishing task and the amount you get from completing mini stories and on top of that the ones from Buildings… and you should be fine (if you stay on top of it)
In the future it would be nice if the Admin would email me and let me know Why a post is denied if they decide to deny them. To be honest it makes me feel hurt and betrayed knowing that I’ve spent my time trying to offer help to others (Such as the tip I gave that no one but The Admin will EVER see) only for it to be removed without any explanation…
With all due respect I came here to help and instead feel like I’ve been ignored.

I’m LOVING these new deco characters and vehicles that not only animate, but roam around our towns! Vehicles that actually drive ON THE ROADS! Too creaking cool! I only wish the older/other deco vehicles and characters like Boyfriend 300, Diabeato, magic carpet guy, and even animals like the giraffe would roam around the town.
Something else that I think would be super cool is if we would get one each of the event characters that we have to defeat like the procrastinators, the Trekkie guys, trick or treaters, CIA guys, etc to roam our towns. I mean, they’re already animated, why not?!

Well, I guess this means Xmas is over.
Unlocked Angel Bruce, Jesus, and Santa, cleared all the present boxes (didn’t hit clams once), resisted the allure of KISS (between what I have already spent on this game and Marvel Heros this month, the coffers are empty), and don’t particulalry want another giant monster deco thats just going to end in storage.
Just like Halloween, the Xmas event is going out with a whimper and not a bang.
And I get it: they made the game easier due to feed back from frustrated player who don’t have the time to play(waste) as often as I do.
I enjoy playing the game in speed mode but end up kinda bummed out when the event content runs out way the event itself.
Then again, I scheduled a long winter vacation to be with my wife when our daughter was born last week, once I go back to work after the holidays, I am probably gonna be thanking tinyco for the slower pace!

Holy Christmas present. Unlocking Santa gets you 100,000 cookies. Then for another 1000 cookies tge only prize left in the box is 1500 cookies, so its basically an endless supply to get polka dotted boxes with clams. Ive won 300 so far with 90,000 cookies left!

Not Odd…It is an item box as many other previous ones. Once all the “items” (ONLY Buildings and Decorations) are won…the box goes away so you don’t waste items on just Materials.

You are lucky you got that many. Once all the “items” (Decorations and Buildings) are won…they are supposed to go away.

I finished the wishlist, got the cookies and Jesus. Then I opened the freemium gift box and got 150+ clams and elf Peter! I’m so happy. I’m almost done with King Yeti so I’ll have him for a decoration. Merry Christmas to me ❤ thanks tinyco!

I go into al harringtons and click on anel bruce and the task brian has to earn a feather I believe I am not abel to do that task and im not sure why.

A box pops up and peter is saying you have to do this before you can do that. The task is have brian become a young reader. My only guess is that its a task for puppy brian and I do not have him unlocked yet

Sounds like you missed some dialog and leveling up to get him where he needs to be to use the task then.

“Become a Young Reader” is indeed a Puppy Brian task.

The young reader task is for puppy Brian. It wasn’t clear to me either & caused me some confusion….I got pup Bri & he is on his young reader task now.

I have unlocked all the free and premium characters/skins for this event bit I’m showing 42 out of 43 characters. I was not missing anyone prior to the event and I can’t figure out who I’m missing. I don’t see any blank spots on my FaceSpace except the unreleased characters.

Sometimes it takes a bit to sync up. You may have missed a skin prior to the Event.

I have also unlocked all the Xmas characters (Bruce and Santa the last two unlocked) and am also showing a missing one (49/50). I have done all the event now and unlocked every item. Beaten the final Yeti 2 or 3 times now. Still waiting on the yeti as a decoration, as the only item not in my inventory from this event. Not sure what I have to do to get it.
I have over 100,000 cookies and nothing left to buy. Looks like it’s now the waiting game until new years’.

I’ve been wondering about that, too! I have all characters since game launch, premium and freemium. Including King Butt, Human Rupert, Santa, Jesus, etc…

upgraded the tree finished the prophets and profits quest line and still peter hasnt triggered the death by king quest.. in two hours or so ill defeat him. hints on the extra quest to finish to trigger peter’s popup?

Help! I really want to unlock Jesus, and I think I’m at the point where I will need to spend clams to do it because I only have 23/100 snowflake stockings, and only have Joe, Lois and Mort to attack the yeti (btw I have more than enough cookies and only have angel Bruce left to unlock). So my question is… Should I spend the 200 clams on the building that drops snowflake stockings, or should I get Gene Simmons? Which do you think would help me get the most snowflakes in the shortest amount of time?

Hmmmm…I would say Gene as the task is there right away…and he is a 2-3 hit which will help defeat them faster then an odd payout from a building.

I was right there with a dismal amount of snowflake stockings and it wasn’t looking good for me, so I bought the special clam package for $9.99 and spent clams on Bruce, er, I mean John. Right away he helped knock that stupid hat off the Yeti, I finished up my Santa list, got a BUNCH of cookies, surprises and used some clams for those special items I’ve been wanting for a while.
Now, just waiting on on that king yeti and Jesus. Looks promising with that no timer on the last yeti. My first event in the game I’ve actually made it to the end and gotten what I wanted. Yay me! Thanks TinyCo! And a special thanks to all here for the tips!

Did you get all the main prizes in it? If so…yes. All the boxes go once all the “items” are won. Buildings & Decorations. Material and Clams do not count. Those are extras.

Well, I have everyone except Angel Bruce and only need 4 feathers to unlock him. I don’t have the clams to get KISS though. I just got Santa but now what do I do with 100,000 cookies. Lol. I pretty much don’t have anything else to buy. I wonder if there will be any last minute cool stuff.

I’m hoping for another giftbox! It seems pretty pointless to award 100000 cookies for a character that people couldn’t even unlock until the final week of the event and then only give one limited giftbox and a couple buildings and small decorations to spend them all on.
