Hey there Naughty and Nice lil Shoppers!
Are we there yet? Well….almost. As the Miracle on Spooner Street Event is coming to an end today at around 3PM PST, there are a few things you may want to focus on to “wrap things up” so to speak. Lol.
So there have been a lot of really cool things going on during this Event and now it is coming to a close. Let’s take a look at some last minutes things to remember to complete before it does.
A lil FYI…might as well clear the Shoppers too, just in case a Free Clam pops out. 😉
WRAP AND OPEN ALL GIFTS
If you have any items left in Santa’s Workshop, make sure they are wrapped and opened so the items are all placed in your town. Check your Inventory for any ones you may have missed. (NOT the shopping cart menu)
COMPLETE ANY TASKS REMAINING TASKS/SALES
If there were Miracle on Spooner Street tasks the Characters in your Quahog were working on, make sure you complete them before they are pulled from the game with the Event. This includes any Challenges, sales, or extras that gave you bonuses.
Don’t forget the Clam sale TODAY!!
BUY UP ANY REMAINING EVENT ITEMS
There were many items offered during this Event for Cookies and Clams, so if you were waiting til last minute to get them…NOW is that last minute. Keep in mind to buy a LOT of one item…you have to have them ALL out of storage. The game has a “fail safe” built in so you don’t buy something you already own and is in storage. Place it ALL out, buy all you want, then store what you wish for later use.
Any leftover cookies you can wait and see what the Next event brings.
GIVE AWAY GIFTS
If you have Neighbor Gifts left laying around and are linked to Facebook, dump all you have left for a chance at Free Clams for doing so. If you do not, try to give that last one to Ollie. It may or may not give you some Free Clams.
FIGHT THAT YETI ONE LAST TIME
If you are still pulling for those last few stockings, make sure you use up the last lil bit wisely. If you are cutting it close, you may have to ponder if it will be worth it to YOU to speed the tasks with Clams. Months from now, will you still be happy you did? Just think before spending those precious Clams. Remember, the King Yeti Prize is just a decoration not an actual Character.
RELAX
The Event is winding down, just about there, so if you have completed it…sit back and relax. Enjoy a little quiet until the New Year.

Anyone else knows what the 53rd outfit/character is? I thought I got everything since beginning. I know there are 2outfits from peter that show up on facespace that aren’t available yet. The counter on bottom left still says 52/53… So whats the 53rd ? No decent character/outfit list available out there…

Don’t worry about the count. It will ALWAYS vary. Pending characters shadowed or not in wait may not show in your list. So don’t focus so much on it. 😉

Got every character and every outfit/skin! Pretty pleased with the event.. Just waiting to spend those 100,500 cookies i had left over haha.

Comment wouldnt post… Hey Bunny. I was defeated King Yeti and the game crashes. I contacted support but they only said they were working on the crashes. Do I not get credit for defeating him or the 50 blue stockings I needed to unlock Jesus. What else should I do? I unlocked everyone except him and the event is ending. They made me start at the first yeti

Was disappointed I just missed out on the Yeti but in reading he is just deco (wish I’d known that earlier I would have put characters on other tasks instead) I’m not fussed now – so thanks!
Without reading info on blogs like this how are players meant to know what they are actually playing/paying to get (useful character, pointless character, deco)? Clear info in the actual game dialogs would be good.

We don’t mind helping. I don’t think ANY gaming house can really put enough detail in it. We at least actually PLAY the games. Right along with you guys. Lol.

Hi i came into my game to finish up some stuff and I got a pop up that said restart your game because Christmas is over couldn’t remove it so I had to restart my game and it took everything away cookies and all know my town is back to normal. I thought we where going to get to use our cookies for some stuff. Love how you ladies go beyond what you can do to hear us. Thanks

So I’m confused, did I lose all my cookies then? I thought we were going to be able to trade them in? like the last event?

When I opened my game the event had already ended. Any cookies I had left are gone (I had over 100k). Are they going to somehow be “brought back” to be used in the next New Years event or are they just gone and I missed something to save them, etc.

The Christmas event is now over. I’m glad its still snowy in our Quahogs! All my characters are wandering around waiting for the New Year’s festivities to start, bring it on!

I am 41 clams away from Jesus. King Yeti is left with 8 Heath points left and I have four fighting him. (John, joe, mort, Lois.) I don’t have Paul. I have no more clams. I’ve sped up the fighting as much as I can.

I’m new to this site Bunny I didn’t know this one exist. I am from STO… Yall stay working.. I don’t know if I’m in the right spot for this question.. But the gift box that cost 1,000 cookies it gives clams and all types of prizes… Should I use all my cookies on that

This is perfect spot. 😉
You won’t be able to. All the Boxes are set up that for specific items. Buildings and Decorations mainly. An occasional costume tossed in. Anything else (Clams, stockings, etc.) those are all EXTRAS and don’t really count as an item.
Short story long, the box will disappear as soon as all the Main “Items” are acquired. So get what you can out of it if you like the items in there.
Otherwise…there will be something for AFTER the event you can use some of those cookies on. Nothing drastic, but something either way.

Shame we can’t gift things to other people (I know why not though). Looks like I’m finishing the event with 200k cookies earned (143k remaining after buying things) and 234/157/110/77/80 stockings. Got at least one of everything except some of the clambox decos I didn’t really want anyway, and several of the neighbour gift decos (because I have no neighbours, because I don’t like using my FB for random people).

I bought a crate of clams but didn’t get my free cookies and snowflakes, the task is still in the list. I sent TinyCo an in-game message. Thankfully I didn’t need the snowflakes but those extra cookies would put me back over 100,000 and might be handy.
I finally went back to the Gold Box after previously spending 100 clams for 500 cookies. I set a 300 clam limit and got dolls, cookies, wrapping paper (or dolls), manger, tank and then the pink car. It’s not fun seeing that many currency “rewards” in a row but I’ll live. I then bought one Silver Box and got the Ice Castle 🙂

Looks like they fixed things for me. I loaded up an hour or two later to find the cookies and snowflakes had been added to my account. Great showing form TinyCo to sort it out so quickly.

I DID IT! FINALLY, I got Jesus and with all those saved clams that I got since I started to play the game I bought, John and Kiss.
I’m ready to get another event, but after that I would like nothing until 4 of July or the next comic-con

While I was able to acquire all the free event stuff and characters, I’m gonna be pretty upset if all of these stockings go to waste without converting into something. I have hundreds and hundreds- probably close to a thousand stockings. If these aren’t converted one way or another it’ll be yet another case of extremely poor planning by tinyco.
It takes so many hours every day, so much grinding, to the point where you have to set alarms and/or wake up in the night to make each daily, weekly, character goal- to see all of the excess rewards that were earned in the process go to waste is so demoralizing. Every event I think they’ve got it figured out, but there always ends up being some huge gaping hole in their plan.

Can’t wait to get rid of all the procrastinators but I will miss the walking frosty the snowmen. Was hoping they’d be a prize like the demented elf. Maybe next year.

Tiny Co people are amazing. We exchanged information about my game crashes, they pushed a fix, and after 36 hours of forced abstinence, I was able to play again, buy clams, get the truck and get John McLane (with 50 extra clams for getting all the Christmas heroes).

I’m 3 stockings away from getting Jesus, Yeti has 40 minutes left on hibernation and will be King Yeti, so no chance of defeating it. Any ideas on how to get the 3 remaining stockings? The 75 clam gift box is an option, but I don’t like my odds.

I have one that says buy clams and get sleigh bells, but when I tap it, I get a big white dialog that says “Clam Shack!” at the top but with nothing else in it. If there was something there, do “sleigh bells” mean stockings?

maybe a few hours in between to get things ready, but that extra day could’ve helped many players who couldn’t afford to buy premium characters get Jesus, Santa, etc. Especially since we lost a day with the delayed update, if players could’ve had Joe even a day sooner, they would’ve had better chances in defeating the Yeti’s and get the stockings needed for Jesus

the event wasn’t that bad there were a lot of stuff that I will have no use for and the new year I did make sure I stocked up on the poinsettias because I use flowers instead of roadways so I don’t lose track of my people plus it just looks cool. the only problem I have now is that I am torn whether to spend the rest of my currency to buy more flowers or if I should save them for whatever they are bringing in the new years event

I’m on an android and STILL can’t visit my friends. Says I need to upgrade. I’ve been talking with TinyCO but they stopped replying to me three days ago and the issue still isnt resolved. I got tired of see my gifts pile up and not being able to send them so I stopped having people wrap secret santa gifts. I still have 30 to give away though. Sucks because I was getting about a clam for every 3 or 4 gifts given not to mention the random clams from just visiting friends. With it being christmas, funds are tight and free clams are a huge benefit. VERY frustrated at this point.
I am happy that I got Jesus, Santa and Puppy Brian this year. Had to skip on KISS but at least the stage is cool. Loved the event but will be glad when its over. Too many shoppers and Santas running around my town. lol

They are still working on the Upgrade for not compatible devices. I am not sure what more they can say beyond they are working on it. My thoughts anyway.

Never close to getting 100 stocking spent 3 days solid on the yeti waking twice at night is crazy you have to go in every 4 hours in 24 hour periods. Expecting us to not sleep is beyond ridiculous I had very little time off over Christmas just the two days and I was busy with family then. Got most other things including first ever big clam spend on Jean but all for nothing as not won Jesus. Everything else about the event was great however.

When the event first started, if you tapped on Stewies Facespace and scrolled through his outfits there was a silhouette of Elf Stewie, but it disappeared about halfway through the event.

Again…constantly changing game. Many times things will be used for “placeholders” of something upcoming. I have seen characters and the buildings behind them change over and over. Nothing is concrete until it is in the game. 😉
