Hey there all you silly Addicts.
It is a New Year and everyone is making all these resolutions on what to do to change themselves and make themselves better. Well here at the Addicts, we don’t mind change. We embrace it. So… we decided to make a lil change to… US!!
As we play this silly lil game, we realize that we live in a world of animation and fun. Makes yah feel kinda like YOU wanna join it and get… animated, right? So… why not animate… The Addicts??!! And that is just what we did. We have talked about doing this since the creation of our site, it was about time. Lol. A really cool artist, Milos, took it upon himself to turn each of us Addicts into a Character of our own. Taking into account our loves and passions in life. Even digging deep into our Geekside. Lol.
Without further ado… we give you… THE ADDICTS…
A group of Addicted Players that love to play games and share all their thoughts, ideas, and insights of the games with anyone that is interested in listening to our ramblings. We are more than happy to help out all of our fellow players. (Maybe even be on the lookout to find a few more game Addicts like ourselves in the process to share our addiction to fun with.) We like to do all we can to keep the peace around here and provide a safe place for any players to come by and talk about the game, talk with other players, find information that is not available in the game, but most of all… just have fun. It is a game. Games are meant to bring joy and fun.
Now for a lil peek at each of the Addicts that run this silly lil blog…
Alissa: The youngest of the group, but by no means anyone you can push around. She is very smart, talented, and detail oriented. She is the Co-Owner of the familyguyaddicts.com site. She has a lot of passion and love for the site and has put in a lot of countless time making it the best site she possibly can. Always there to help anyone out with questions on the game.
Bunny: Oldest of the group, but you would never be able to tell by the way she acts. Young at heart and very playful. Geeky Nerd Girl that loves Sci-Fi and Fantasy. She is more on the creative side of things. She likes to design and play around with decorations in the game, create art out of the most random things, and pass those thought/ideas on to you, but then the Nerd kicks in and the details can overtake her posts. Lol. She is the other Co-Owner of the familyguyaddicts.com site. You will find her bouncing around in the comments harassing… errr… helping players as much as she can. Trying to keep the peace as much as possible, but offering sound advice whenever she can.

Now for an Addict that you may NOT have seen round these parts. He is more noticeable on our other site, tstoaddicts.com… but very much still a part of the “Three Amigos” or Three Musketeers” or… “Team Awesomesauce”. Lol. He will jump in here once in a while with a post, but I promise you… if TinyCo releases a Blue Harvest Event… he will be FIGHTING with Bunny to do posts on it. (Star Wars Geeks!) 😉
Wookiee: Resident Furball. The “Middle Child” of the group. Full of fun and humor. Hangs round tstoaddicts.com mostly. Always out to make people laugh and smile all he can. Tends to let his Geek show too. Also has a very creative side of game play. Just like Bunny, he loves to create 2D & 3D art and share it with readers so they can learn and create on their own. He loves to share his knowledge of all things Simpsons anytime he can (though I think Bunny and Alissa may be swaying him to the Family Guy side. Lol.) A Giant in life, but a Giant heart that gives to everyone. Always willing to help.

Now, on a side note and to add even MORE fun with the “New Addicts”, we also made some cool Merchandise for upcoming Meet and Greets we have planned (stay tuned for more details). So here is our question to you… would YOU want an option to get this Merchandise at anytime? Like from our site? T-shirts, Hoodies, and more? Would something like that even interest you? (NO, we are not looking to make money off this, just another possible option for those wanting some Addicts items that have requested them in the past.)

Wow! The new avatars are outstanding. I have to say though that none of you should ever worry about making some money off your sites. You provide a valuable service that is used and appreciated by many. It’s hard in life to find something you love doing and also earn money for doing it. I say go for any merchandise or advertising you an get because you have damn well earned it. Believe me when I say most of us think you deserve it and would support you 100%. If I were a rich man instead of a poor little desert rat, I would finance you myself so you could devote all your resources to doing what you do so well. And no Bunny, I don’t mean making all of us nerds drool. Get your mind out of the gutter. Anyway, everything looks great and thank you all for keeping us updated and informed like no one else.

I got all excited when I saw the Wookie’s picture, thought he finally caved and joined you two crazy ladies (I mean that in a good way!). I didn’t know Alissa is the baby of the group (I know the feeling, I tend to hang out with older people so when they hear I’m not 30 yet I get tons of crap!). And Bunny, is it just me or does your new portrait kind of look like Lulu from FF-X (Final Fantasy 10)? I love it, she was my favorite by far when I played. Granted I always have had a thing for goth girls 🙂 I also have to say awesome job Milos, those illustrations are amazing! As far as merch goes, if you lovely ladies decided to make large cutouts or wall hangers with your new “looks” I’m sure lots of your male audience would buy them! I mean, who doesn’t want their own Alissa or Bunny?

Hehehehe… well…we ARE slowly pulling him over. We have got him to play the game and he even wrote a post about it. Lol.
And a Goth type look from Final Fantasy/Assassins Creed was the look I was going for. I LOVE that style and Steam Punk… well… its the corsets honestly. HAHAHHAHA.
Milos did an excellent job on capturing each of us. Very happy how they all turned out. 🙂

Don’t get me started on steam punk! I don’t know if you ever saw the shelved Batman steam punk game, but I saw some screenshots and it made me squee like a fanboy. My favorite part of conventions are the awesome steam punk costumes, I mean I love all the cosplayers, but the steam punk folks always have the more imaginative costumes by far.

Would love a t-shirt hoodie or even a hat!!! Please make them available for everyone. If they do a futurama event I’m fighting the bunny and the wookie for that spot. All things futurama right here. I will challenge any of you to a geek off. However it’s just nice to get to know the voices in my head and get to know a little about you. Thank you.

LOVE the new art work for the site! Awesome detail. You guys used a great artist. As far as the merchandise, to be honest, I probably wouldn’t want to walk around wearing an Addict tshirt or hoodie but I would definitely wear an Addict long sleep shirt around the house and would love a coffee mug and/or a travel mug. 🙂

And what would be wrong with you making $ off the merchandise? For all that you do for us… definately worth it. Maybe little models, like intimate apparel Peter. But in the clothes your characters are wearing. Although I’m sure they would be a premium mare for those costumes. lol

I agree, very good job on the cartoons, and the getting to know you guys. I thought that you all worked for fox or something of the sort, had no idea this was an independent site. Great work on letting us addicts know about all that goes on in our tiny quahog’s. Please keep up the great work 🙂 . One question though, did bunny’s tounge actually touch alissa’s and lead to something censored 😉 LOL.
