So here we are again. Another week and oh so much more added to the Quahog Comic Con Event…and…I AM LOVING IT!! TinyCo really wants us to NOT get bored with our lil games and constantly give us something to do. All while meticulously having each item somehow coincide with another. And y’all thought I was the insane one. Lol.
Well let’s break this whole new Giant Stewie down. How does he work? What benefit is he to our lil games? Does he even matter? Time to hop on in. He is now here to stay the course of the entire event, so get used to yet another lil…errrr…GIANT spawn in your town. Lol
HOW DO I GET GIANT STEWIE?
First off, to launch him into your game. You will needed to have completed Creature from the Goo Lagoon Part 5.
You will then see the usual ! over Peter and his dialog will start for Enfant Terrible Part 1.
This part will walk you through the basics and get you started on the Giant Stewie that has taken over the Convention Center.
As you can see, he will most DEFINITELY be helpful to you as THIS is what you will use to multiply your Blam! output and hit that 100,ooo Blam! so much faster.
HOW DO I GET PESTICIDE?
So, what to do? Well first of all, take stock in what you DO have that will help in the process of defeating him and getting up as high as you can on the multiplier line to MAX out that Blam! earning potential.
Pesticide Earning Characters:
| Character | Task | Time/Payout | Blam!/Pesticide/Misc |
| Captain Hammered | Gather Smelly Pesticide | 2hrs/ $30, 20XP | 6 Blam!/ (ALWAYS) 1 Red or 1 Yellow |
| Captain Hammered | Gather Foamy Pesticide | 2hrs/ $30, 20XP | 6 Blam!/ (ALWAYS) 1 Green or 1 Yellow |
| Ron Perlman | Practice Fighting Large Monsters | 4hrs/ $50, 30XP | 10 Blam!/ (ALWAYS) 1 Green/ (Rare) 1 Battery |
| Patrick Stewart | Be a Thespian | 4hrs/ $50, 30XP | 10 Blam!/ (ALWAYS) 1 Red |
| Blobulous | Gather Gross Pesticides | 2hrs/ $30, 20XP | 6 Blam!/ (ALWAYS) 1 Red or 1 Green |
| Blobulous | Gather Smelly Pesticides | 2hrs/ $30, 20XP | 6 Blam!/ (ALWAYS) 1 Red or 1 Yellow |
| Felica Day | Practice Larping | 4hrs/ $50, 30XP | 10 Blam!/ (ALWAYS) 1 Yellow/ (Rare) 1 Battery |
| Bryan Cranston | Inspect Buildings | 2hrs/ $30, 20XP | 6 Blam!/ (ALWAYS) 1 Red & 1 Yellow & 1 Green |
So all those characters you are unlocking as you progress continue to help to also collect needed items for both the Latcher and the Giant Stewie’s. It also makes the cost of Bryan even MORE helpful for the event. His task is really short to get 3 Pesticides in one drop. That is easily 8 of each daily if you utilize him alone.
Pesticide Earning Zapper:
Yes, you read that correct. Along with all the other random drops, the Zapper as well is getting into the mix of things. You will notice as you go to Zap Latcher Stewie now that the gun continually changes materials it drops. Pesticides have been added to the mix too. (Note: your Zapper “CHANCE” icons will vary what they show on what you have and have not unlocked.)
SIDE NOTE: This did NOT change any other drops for the Zapper. Those materials are still there, just the Pesticides are a better drop rate so you will see them more often then those rare or higher items.
Pesticide Earning Buildings:
Training Montage Training Center: Every 12 hours you will get either an Orange or Red Pesticide along with the payout when you clear it.
Fat Kevin’s Comic Books: Every 6 hours you will get a Red or Green Pesticide along with the payout when you clear it.
So there you have a mix of different ways on how to get yourself some more Pesticides for Giant Stewie.
SIDE NOTE: Nerds do NOT drop Pesticides. They still have chance of all the previous materials dropping until that character is unlocked.
HOW DOES THE MULTIPLIER WORK?
Every new day, you are given a 24 hour time frame in which you can battle the Giant Stewie and get a multiplier for earning Blam! Each day will be different in what it will ask you to collect and use, so be cautious with how you decide and when you decide to defeat him and move up.
So to start it out, just look to your Convention Center and you will see either a countdown timer or just an icon that resembles one of Toxic Waste. Giant Stewie may be inside or on top, but if he is inside…he usually jumps right back out when you tap in that area. Tap on the Convention Center itself. This will open up the pop up for the multiplier and Pesticide counts for the 24 hour period you are on.
Day 1: The following breakdown was for MY test game for the first day. (Yours may differ. In the past, the colors needed would even come in pairs or threes…asking for a mix of each.)
1X: 1 Orange
3X: 3 Green
8X: 7 Red
15X: 12 Orange
25X: 18 Orange
The Blam! Reward for Vanquishing him is 100. So you will get a Payout of 100, 300, 800, 1500, or 2500 Blam! depending on what level of multiplier you hit. (He also drops items needed for Character Unlocks, like hams.) Also, after hitting the 25X the first time, it allows you to do it again but for 29 Pesticides.
After each defeat, the timer will reset to 24hours. If you do not defeat him again, the timer will run out no matter where you are and reset to 1X.
As for the wording at the bottom of the pop up, it will say “Find Pesticide” if you do not have enough of the color you need along with a “number you have/number required” break. After you collect the amount it requires, you then see the wording change to “Vanquish Giant Stewie”. Just tap on Vanquish when it switches and a lil Movie will appear quick of Giant Stewie being sprayed with Pesticide.
He will then go back into the Convention Center and hide for 1 minute 30 seconds now. This means you have to wait at least 1 minute 30 seconds between Vanquishing him, regardless if you have all the necessary Pesticide to jump to the next multiplier step. It will show you a timer countdown on how many seconds remaining til you can try again in the pop up.
You will also notice on the first pop up the “Streak Time Left”. This is the time YOU have left to get to the highest possible multiplier (25X) before it resets it all back to 1X a the end of 24 hours. So again, if you let the timer run down the 24hrs, you will lose any progress you made and go back to 1X. This countdown information will also be displayed over the Convention Center.
So now comes in the fun part. How do you decide on when and where to use the Pesticide for the most benefit? Well, the breakdown is pretty simple. Right now you have to defeat Stewie at least 5 times to get the Challenge car. So plan out wisely.
Otherwise, this is my suggestion. Stockpile the Pesticides you earn and keep them until YOU have time to spend in the game and MAX it. Why? Because there is a HUGE difference in just getting 3 X 100 Blam! vs 25 x 100 Blam! (the payout on Vanquishing Giant Stewie). It will take a lil more Pesticides to do this, but if you are earning them at a faster rate, then maximize that.
Do you see a method to the madness now? That 100,000 Blam! feeling a little more easier to get to now? I hope so. Even if you can’t max it out. Just get it to X3 or X8 and it will make a TON of difference in your earnings. So use those Pesticides wisely. Earn them whenever you can. Store them and don’t waste them if you know real life work, vacation, etc will not allow you to fully use those MAX multipliers to their potential.
Right now, focus on getting your Challenge car. You only have a few days. So same, do not rush to MAX each day if you can split it 3 days. That would mean you may only need 4 Pesticides each day to Vanquish him and get the car. (1 for first Vanquish. 3 for second. Etc.) Stay within your gaming means and use what you can when you can really apply yourself. If you are not to the Part 4 in the Enfant Terrible, then save those Pesticides up for when you are about to hit it so you can knock out the time with no worries. (The Car will trigger between Part 3 and Part 4.)
There you have it. A lil method to the Madness of Giant Stewie. Hope this has helped you out a bit. Need more info? Anything I did not cover you need more clarification on? Let us know.

Hey!! So I have been defeating giant Stewie with the various harpoons and every time I defeat him, I get a green lizard tail but when I click it or when it gets collected on its own, I can’t see where it goes. I checked all over the game and I can’t find anything about lizard tails. Does anyone know what this is for?!?! 😩 I must know!

Seriously confused! I had collected to the 25x level, I let the time run out and got maybe 500 blam!, no ham and no video sequence! Did I do something wrong?
Another question, is there any purpose at all with the challenger car? More than that it sweet?
Thank you all for the help and great comments on this site!

You’ve got to destroy him each time before the time runs out. When the time runs out then it resets back to level 1.
No purpose for the cars…just cool to have 🙂

Thank you but I still do not understand how to destroy him. I only had the options to either put in even more pesticides or to let the time run out (I see no options on destroying him, what button should I press?)

That sounds like you do not have enough Pesticides yet. You need to collect more or wait until Giant Stewie times out and you start again at the 1X with less Pesticide.

Hmm, so I do always need to collect 29x? That would mean that it is no point following the tips given on collecting to 15x? Except for getting the car of course. I am pretty sure I am doing something wrong here 🙂 do I need to collect up to the last 29 to destroy him?

I prefer to let it reset. Takes less Pesticide. My personal take on it anyway.

After the 18 pesticide requirement, it goes to 29 to keep getting max blam. would it be better to let the timer reset and get upto 18 pesticide and keep resetting after, or keep going with the 29? seems like you’re wasting more pesticides if you vanquish 29 pesticides when you can just let the timer run out, start over and get same max blam at 18 pesticides….

For those gaining Pesticides at a very rapid rate, the 29 may be beneficial to hit over and over. For those still on the lower end of earning them, it my be easier to hit just him a few times on the lower ones and let it reset.

I’ve yet to find reference to farming orange and red pesticides using the Training Montage Training Center. They will break even in less than 20 days. With ten Training Centers, I have increased stocks of pesticides to 77 orange and 51 red while awaiting the streak meter to reset.
This has freed Peter to overeat for those blasted Ice Cream Sundaes! Grrr!

We haven’t made a post about this because many can’t afford the 4,000 Blam it takes for each extra building or the space needed for them (many don’t like storing buildings and messing up their towns). But I’m glad you posted a comment about it. If you have the space and spare Blam, it’s a good way to “farm” some extra pesticides. 🙂

Okay, so I’m seeing a lot of strategies for the streak and a lot of numbers are being thrown around, but I really don’t feel like searching the world of comments to find an answer to my question: I’m on Enfant terrible part 2 so I haven’t triggered the car challenge yet, but I’m saving up my pesticides before challenging giant stewie- is there any link or tip that someone can give me on how much pesticide of each color I should store up beforehand to go through a good streak with stewie? (I’ll be doing the “beat him once a day then collect pesticides until the 24 hours are coming to a close and beat him again” method) I just want a number to start with before triggering the car quest.

Ok…you have the right idea here. Good job on holding off, but you’ll want to start tomorrow (still Monday night here in California) because you’ll want it done before the next car challenge begins at the end of this week. There are two strategies with the Giant Stewie mini game. One for just running up the streak meter and one for getting the “Blaze”. We’re only going to focus on the car challenge right now. You’ll need a minimum of 11 of each kind of pesticide color. This way you can defeat Stewie 3 times in a row (if the same color happens to repeat 3 times in a row, you’re covered) the first defeat takes 1, the second needs 3 and your third defeat takes 7 pesticide cans. You can do all 3 in just over a minute and a half (Attack, wait 30 seconds for him to re-spawn, attack again, wait, then make your final attack of the day). Now the timer will reset after each attack but that doesn’t matter (you can attack as often as you like as long as you have the “cans”), after the third time you vanquish him just let the 24 hour timer run down to zero. Collect more pesticides during this time, you’ll only need a total of 4 of each color this time. Once the timer zeros out, it will start a new 24 hour countdown and reset your streak meter back to 1X. Now you just attack like you did the day before. You’ll use 1 pesticide first then wait and use 3 pesticides for your second attack. This will give you the 5 victories you’ll need to get the car. After that, just wait until the timer is close to running out and try to keep your streak going. How’s that sound for a game plan? 😉

Alrighty that sounds like a plan! I’ll start it up later today then, Thank you Mr. Silly =P

A summary of the earnings from Giant Mutant Stewie – it shows how easy it will be to reach the total Blam! needed for all the prizes.
If you able to collect at the following level each day, during the remaining 28 days of the event, the total Blam! from Giant Mutant Stewie you will earn:
1x / day = 2,800 Blam!
3x / day = 11,200 Blam!
8x / day = 33,600 Blam!
15x / day = 75,600 Blam!
25x / day = 145,600 Blam!
and if you hit the 25X each day you will earn 215,600 Blam!
So if you add this with earning of Blam! from all characters, buildings, and tasks reaching the top level of 100,000 Blam! for George Takei.

TinyCo. you guys should make it a bit easier or at least make it a different color than the one I just worked on.

Bryan, don’t bother for the 29’s. You’ll get more Blam per pesticide used if you go up the meter to get 25x once (with 18 pesticides), then let it run out.
1x = 1P
3x = 3P (total 4x = 4P)
8x = 7P (total 12x = 11P)
15x = 12P (tot 27x = 23P)
… Ergo, save those 29P and use them to get back up the ladder!
minicha broke it down to Blam! per pesticide in an earlier comment:
Streak Meter
1X: 1 Can 100 Blam!/Pesticide
3X: 3 Cans 100 Blam!/Pesticide
8X: 7 Cans 114 Blam!/Pesticide
15X: 12 Cans 125 Blam!/Pesticide
25X: 18 Cans 138 Blam!/Pesticide
25X: 29 Cans 86 Blam!/Pesticide
Conclusion: let the time run out when 29 Cans are required and start over.

Here’s a thought on a strategy for defeating Giant Stewie.
If you max out the multiplier and try to keep it there, every day you will need to earn 29 pesticides of a single color for a 2500 blam! payout.
If instead, you only take the multiplier to 15x, let it expire and rebuild it each day, you will only need 23 pesticides (usually split across multiple colors) for a payout of 2700 blam! (100 + 300 + 800 + 1500).
It seems to me that trying for the 15x multiplier every day is the sweet spot unless you have so much blam! that you can trigger the 25x multiplier more than once a day.
Anyone have a strategy that is working better for them?

Sorry. That last paragraph should read as follows:

My strategy is to do x25 once since that has the best blam/pesticides ratio and to let the timer run out when it asks for 29 because that is the worst ratio. although, when giant stewie drops anything other than hams, it might be beneficial to maximize your vanquishes/day instead of blam. this would be, vanquish as many times as you can right when the timer resets then just wait until the next day even if you get the right number sometime later.

Good glitch? Bryan Cranston dropps 4 sprays for me each time, one of each + one random. Costs 32 clams to rush 2h (same price per spray as if you get 12 cans from the box) or wait an hour and it’s 4clams/can

Intentional 🙂 He ALWAYS drops 4 sprays…but the flipside is his rush rate is CRAZY high. Luckily it’s just a 2 hr task. Best way to get 100,000 blam! quickly if you’re on top of resetting his task every 2 hours 🙂

You might have already answered this further down in the comments, but my timer resets every time I vanquish giant Stewie. I just got the 25x bonus (yay!) but now I have another 24 hours to get 25 cans of pesticide, which seems unlikely. I thought it was supposed to reset back to 1 every 24 hours like they did with King Butt? Maybe that changed. Just a little confused.
Also the timer for the car challenge keeps changing. Suddenly I seem to have an extra day, which is totally fine because I need to wait 24 hours for the Giant Stewie counter to reset, but just seems like something funny is going on here. I hope it doesn’t change back because I need the extra time!

No worries. The numbers were all over for every player. Each one different. It seems to have settled now and back to the way it was last event. Reset every vanquish. So do not vanquish him anymore and let it run out the 24hours to reset to 1X and less pesticides needed.

Also his counter has rest to 24 hrs and the car challenged time has reset to 3 days and 11 hrs. Just asking advice here – should I fight Giant Stewie for 29 pesticides, or save them and let the timer go to zero? I read that the value of Blam per pesticide is lower for 29 pesticides.
LikeLike
Well…if you base Blam! Per item used…the more you use will always lessen the payoff.
Up to you if another 2500 blam! Is worth it or not.

Hmmm, just defeated 5/5 Giant Stewies for the Hot Rod but no car? I’ve searched the build menu like how Capt Hammered’s car appeared and nothing? I’ve searched the ComicCon menu and can see the car ticked off but still no car? Does this mean I can’t have the car until I unlock Blobulous?
Also, thought I’d mention characters are still pumping out hams even though I’m 13/10? Rather annoying when some characters have multiple drops… give me the sundaes!!!

Did you check your inventory? That is where won items go. 😉
Already looking into MORE materials issue.

Sorry if this has been answered but I just got to Enfant terrible part 6. It states to get rid of mutant Stewie 4 times but the little counter just says 0/3

Sorry should have mentioned, I’ve contacted Tiny Co just wondered if it was a known glitch

Uh huh. It should be 4. They’re working on it. The shut down last night took priority so everything else got put on hold.

Thanks for answering 🙂 Also love the hard work you all put in to this site.

1. For some reason Ron Perlman: practice fighting large monsters drops are backwards for me, he is always dropping batteries and has only dropped the green pesticide once.
2. No matter which task I set Captain Hammered on he is only dropping orange pesticides.
3. Q Hotel is dropping orange pesticides and I don’t think this is supposed to happen (and no its not when I zap mutant Stewie and he has yet to latch onto Q. Seems to like the day care, founding fathers and quahog bank in my game)

Ron is known issue. Watch the counts. You may not see an image, but one may still add to the count.
Looking into Captain issue.
Odd that it is. Last communication only two I listed were dropping. Will check if update changed it.
All issues, please also alert TinyCo from your game on.

How does it work the Blam bonus? It will be added when the 24 hours resets or it’s added instantly?
sorry If I wrote something wrong

The payout is 100 Blam! So what you get each time for defeating Stewie will depend on the multiplier level you are at. So 8X level will pay you 800 Blam! for defeating Stewie. Make Sense?
LikeLike
Yes, but the amount of Blam you earn (those 800 Blam!) is added instantly to your total or do you have to wait for something special?

Instant. You see them pop out of him when you defeat him along with a material item. Then, they collect or you can tap on them to collect them.

I am at the 12 can requirement and need to get one more w/in 2 hrs, but even though i’ve defeated him three or four times, my car challenge is showing 2/5 vanquishes. If I defeat him for good and only have 4 vanquishes, will he come back or should I throw it now???????

Let me ask this. The defeats…were they BEFORE or AFTER you got the pop up for the challenge? I only ask due to any BEFORE will not count. Ones AFTER should. If they did not, alert TinyCo right away.

Somehow my Stewie wants only red and green – I am almost up to 50 orange, but of course the next one is red again. 29 to be exact. Guess I have to start over tomorrow.
In better news, I only need to defeat him one more time to get the Blaze. At least I hope I get it, because in the task window it still shows the picture of the Nailgunner.

Stewie’s color color issues 😉
Yes picture shows Nailgunner, but the blaze will appear

I’m sorry if this was answered somewhere else already, but I didn’t see anything… My giant stewie, when vanquished, keeps dropping hams for blobulous. Problem is, I’m already maxed out on hams. I’ve vanquished him three times, and now I have 13/10 hams according to my blobulous screen. Is this normal? Some ice cream sundaes would be a lot more helpful…

Yes…the hams are coming out in abundance at the moment. We’re trying to get some more details on it since multiple people have reported it at this point. Very strange..

So to be sure to get the full multiplier, best is to store 52 pesticides of each color…

moreover, 1 pesticide for 100 blam and 3 pesticides for 300 blam are pretty much the same payout. you have to reach the 8x multiplier to get a better payout.

I’ve read in the game’s faqs that if you reach the maximum streak when defeating giant stewie, an exclusive prize will be awarded. Any word what this exclusive prize is?
LikeLike
Nope. I just read that too. I just got the last orange pesticide can I needed to play my saved 18 “sprays” and defeated Giant Stewie (I was at 25X). I defeated him but got nothing but the 2500 Blam. Now I’m still at the 25X level (as expected), But I need 29 spray cans! And guess what color…yup! ORANGE again. I don’t know if they posted this info early and the exclusive prize was suppose to load up with the failed update tonight, but will find out from TinyCo.

I’ve defeated giant stewie with the 29 orange cans but like you I didn’t receive any exclusive prize – just 2500 blams. Hope I won’t need to reach the max meter streak once again in order to get it. :S

How many “cans” for your next 25X battle? 29 cans again? Or did it go up even higher?

Seems to be 29 over and over until it doesn’t get reset again once the 24 hours have elapsed

That is what I saw too.

29 cans for 2500 blam isn’t worth it because MATH. So, once one does x25 the first time, it’s best to let it expire it seems. unless i misunderstand somewhere.
LikeLike
at 29 pesticides for 2500 blam, it’s better to let the clock reset and start from scratch as each pesticide is getting less than 100 blam. not worth it unless there is a special prize (like clams) or your in desperate need of blam for something.

Hi, with the giant stewie I have found that when you finish the required pesticides and vanish stewie. When he comes back up the time starts at 24 hrs again. My streak meter is growing. So is that you have 24 hrs to complete each task. Just trying to qualify. Thank you

That is something we were looking in to before the glitch issue took all the attention. I see both. Some, it restarts to 24 over and over each defeat. Others…keeps on counting. Just follow what your game does for now.

Soooooo, i’m a little bit confused, is the blam multiplier for ALL tasks that give you blam?? or just for that 100 blam you get for killing giant stewie?

In this new game have you passed the task where Chris is used as an antenna? If not, you need to do that first. After that the icon to access the account page appears and you can sign in with your account. I hope that that was the issue. If not, I hope Tinyco can retrieve it with your player id.

Also, try to delete the game then reinstall it and follow the guide here. See if it works.
