To unlock you have to build the Training Center, to launch Iron Baby Pt. 1. Then you’ll be required to vanquish Demon Stewie 20 times, to collect scraps of Demon Plating, and you’ll have to get 10 Fusion Reactors from the shop. They cost 5,000 2000 Blam! (if you got them for 5000, please contact TinyCo for a refund) on their own OR you can win them in the Blam! prize box (2,500 Blam! a try).
You WILL need to have Stewie unlocked to unlock Iron Baby. (there’s your throw to players who have been around for a long time, and ASKING for special things for high level players)

What the hell? Why doesn’t it say in game that you have to have stewie unlocked to get the robo suit? The first step should be “unlock stewie” if that’s the case. I just waisted real money buying clams so I could have the suit in time and I have to find out here that it’s worthless?
early on this very page said that stewie wasn’t required for this event so not to worry about getting him. I have put every ounce of character effort into getting blam, that I now have over 150,000 of. I could easily have used other actions to get 100,000 blam and have stewie by now, or be close enough to him that I would have him by sept 8th. Thanks for the BS advice

OK last comment for now. Where are the trophy cases for the other two fab 4 characters? With them missing, does that mean we will see new decorations added to the Blam box in the future?

I’m also a bit concerned about this last vehicle. I can’t believe I’m about to say this since I was complaining about Latcher Stewie when he started but I’m not sure I’m getting new latches fast enough. In three more days I should get 24 (one every 3 hours = 8 per day) but they haven’t been showing up that much. Lately, it seems that I get 4 overnight but then at most just a couple during the day, which won’t get me the 19 more that I need.
Any thoughts?

So I still haven’t been able to bomb any stewie minions as each time I push the button, my game crashes. When I go to push the missile button at the bottom right of the screen and it tries to lock on a stewie minion, I can’t move the aiming target. I can’t even press the “x” at the upper right to get out of it. I have to push the bombs away button for the game to crash and then I have to load the game up again. I’ve messaged Tiny Co several times and still no response. Has anyone else found a fix for this yet?

I’ve earned over 225,000 Blam for the event and had about 125,000 in hand when the Blam box showed up. Now I’m down to about 50,000 Blam and I have all the decorations and a ton of bombs and batteries.
My question is besides the two new buildings do you know if there will be any other needs for the Blam? Buying the two new buildings will bring me down below 40k. I’ll build up quick but I’m just worried I’m going to need a bunch for something next week.

Has anyone else noticed since the updates, the Quest ‘Fabulous Challenge 5: Final Challenge’ that the spawn rate for Zap Mutant Clone Stewie (25 times) hardly makes him Spawn any buildings? I have 9/25 over the last 24hrs checking every hour, Yes team, I have no life right now!

oops, yes this has been noticed – hopefully TinyCo will balance it out as people respond, not just iOS, seems ‘Droid has same issues, any Kindle users seeing anything similar here? Cos I also got a few Green Flesh parts before the Event started, lost about 4 of them, but the little Ducks worked out fine through the purchase boxes?!?

How often do the latcher stewie spawn? I use to have them everywhere and now that I need to get them for the car prize they are no where to be seen. Haven’t had one show up in over 8 hours.

Hello again, Three things I’m wondering:
Can you get multiple fusion reactor ducks from the blam mystery box?
Can you complete quests you’ve started during the event after the event ends? (Like if I’m halfway through Nathan’s questline and then just have him earn harpoons for the rest of the event)?
And finally, I don’t see the Ask Jeeves building in my store. : (

From what we can see…no on the reactors but still waiting confirmation.
The quests (minus Iron Baby) we have been told will end. Could change, but for now that is what info we have.
Ask Jeeves…as you saw…opens when you hit the end of Part 5.

Just a thought, since Seth Macfarlane is a fan of time travel (Stewie) and Doc. Brown from Back to the Future was in A Million Ways to Die in the West, wouldn’t it be cool if they had an event where he was a celebrity character to unlock and we got Stewie’s time machine or a Delorean?!

Can get multiples of items (like batteries, bombs, ducks (until you have them all), harpoons and clams) but cannot get doubles of the decorations…

Final Fabulous Challenge did not show up yet on my device (in past weeks it’s been there for a couple of hours at the same time as it right now). Anybody with the same issue? Fabulous Challenge is the only thing missing, I already got Clam Mystery box update..
(And will I be able to get full four days to complete it is released on my phone?)

Hi so I got a new iPhone and my family guy started over….. How do I fix this I was a level 41 and spent 25 bucks on it and now everything is gone!!!! I have tried contacting them but I can’t find away to do so. Someone please help I’m missing out on days with this update :((((((

Start the game, get to about level 6 where it lets you add a Facebook, add the facebook, it will warn you that your account will be deleted, accept, and you’ll have your own town back

Anyone know the spawn rate for the latcher Stewie’s? Seems to have deteriorated a lot over the past couple of days. At this rate I can’t see how any one is going to get 25 in 3 days…

I have 9 latcher stewies down and still have 6 hours left on my 24 hour clock. I did have 1 extra stewie latcher on the screen when the clock started so I’ll say 8 so far with the potential for it to be 10+ in 24 hours. If it’s a glitch on my end I hope it keeps glitch’n. Quest seems far easier than I first thought so come on Fabu-Bus/Jet!

I have been checking and mine spawn AM and PM at 2, 5, 8, 11….this morning I had 3 of them from 11, 2 and 5…then at 8 and 11 I got 2….I just signed in at 2pm and there was another one.

Decided to waste 40’clams on completing the Multipler suit, still I,got everyone, even had to buy clams to,gain the other two premium characters for this event. Still, it’s worth gaining more clams in the game.

Iron Baby is not starting for me. I have Stewie unlocked and had built the training center earlier on. Is there something else I’m missing for it to begin? Ive beaten demon stewie three times and had noticed the tentacles dropping…do I lose those as well since the quest didn’t start?

I have to admit that Latcher Stewies seem to be a bit thin on the ground at the moment. They certainly don’t seem to be as frequent as I have seen suggested. It also seems to me that the item drop rates have slowed down since the questline for Rollocop started – Or, of course, it may just be my imagination….As a raving insomniac, I have been up all night tapping away, so I may just has lost the plot.
Anyway, as a maximum lurker and minimum poster, I just want to say a big “Thank You” to the team here for the blog – It’s been a big help

Aren’t latchers every 4 hours?
25 x 4 = 100 hours or 4 days and 4 hours. So we are SOOL.
They have to increase latchers to every 2 hours or drop the required amount to 15.
They will not screw me out of a challenge!

I’ve got an issue with my game. The Griffin House is missing.
I was deleting my city layout in order to start designing from scratch, but the Griffin house has gotten lost somewhere. It is not in my inventory. When i start the app, instead of the house, the game focuses on the Q hotel in the convention area.
Now there is a bunch of actions that are unavailable. Ive sent a help request already, but has this happened to anyone else?

i started the fencing school last night and when i woke this morning it was gone 😦 it should have been completed but just disappeared. bought another one to get it but sucks being out of the 7500 blam buying the second one.
think it’s worth getting tiny co involved or just suck it up and forfeit the blam?

Up to you. Do you have Blam! to spare? That is at least 3 of the Blam! boxes. Just double check all over to make sure it is not just glitching. Like try to restart your game. Or…if your game is saved to an email or Facebook you can try an uninstall and reinstall then log back into the saved game.

Love this site! I read the blogs while I’m waiting for tasks to finish. It’s a great way to pass the time. 😉
I also like looking at the step-by-step questlines ahead of time so I know what/who I’ll need for my next task. That said, I can’t find the QL for George Takei’s “City on the Edge of Whatever” nor “The Fabulous 4” and “The Multiplier”. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Some of the Questlines took a back seat while new content and glitch issues were pushed to the front. It is a gentle balance we play. That being said, you will usually find some of the Quests you are looking for on our Event page. We link all the posts there for an easier access. Some of the quests are a part of a Phase and in that Phase breakdown. Like Demon Child and the Multiplier.

like everyone has mentioned the latter stewies will be the rate limiting factor. I woke up and had two in town after 7 hours of sleep. So I have 8/25 with a little more than 3 days left. It helped that I did not destroy any latches until the new event started (since you never know what might be needed) – so I started off with 4 right away. So I only need 17 over 3+ days – it might be close if I only get one spawning at each time – with 77 batteries it won’t be an issue zapping any – I just need them to appear.

With latcher stewie is it better to zap them straight away or let them reach max and then zap them to hit 25 for the fabu-bus?

I like to get rid of them right away as you only get 4 max total in your town at a time and I want to make sure there is always room for more. 😉

Has anyone else run into a bug where the type of harpoon doesn’t change? I beat giant stewie 2 times in a row with the “modern” harpoon types, then it wanted that same type again, and even though midway through the 24 hour period I had enough to beat him again, I let it expire, and when he came back he wanted the modern harpoons again…beat him twice more, and he still needed the modern harpoons. I know with randomness this is technically possible, but 6 times in a row? By my calculations that’s something like a .1% chance of happening…so probably a bug.
I emailed tinyco about it. I’ve got 50 high tech and nearly 40 old-timey harpoons that are gathering cobwebs in the meantime…

Yeah, I gathered up enough to vanquish him again, and what do you know, modern harpoons. That’s at least 7 times in a row (possibly 8). That’s about a .05% chance of happening. One in 2000. Or more likely, a bug. Damn them.

That blam box rocks!
Traded about 50k of blam for all unique prices and about 500 clams (in bombs, batteries and clams, that is).
With that last box giving ne some batteries even that zapping quest seems doable…
Btw: if i zap the last stewie, will the zapper still recharge or does it wait till another one shows up and then starts where it left of?

I have cleared all my latchers before, the Zap timer still ticks on. I thought I read somewhere here the Latchers are on a 3 hour spawn cycle?

It should reset once you Zap one, if not…than that is a plus for you. 🙂

2 questions…any update on if/when we might receive more land? this new content is great but I have zero room left in my town and I’m forced to put things in inventory
2nd question – the fusion reactors – i got some in the blam mystery box but it’s not showing in my task menu like I collected any and they are not inventory…is there a way to know how many i have so i don’t buy extra in the store? thanks!

I got five if the Blam gift boxes and from them I got 3 energy ducks, captain hammered’s costume case thing, 6 bombs twice, and even the giant stewie! The giant stewie is animated btw, just like the one that was atop the convention center.

I got the Giant Stewie and Robo Brian the first two. After that it has just been bombs and batteries. I’m done with it until I buy the stewie ducks. Not going to waste more Blam hoping I get some ducks that way. Don’t have an endless amount of Blam like it seems some people here have.

I have enjoyed this event thoroughly, I am concerned that The last vehicle challenge wil be to difficultto do in the limited time (both the game time limit and the time I have to go on the game).
I am also very disheartened to find out they are releasing an awesome costume for stewie and I won’t be able to get it cos I only found out about the game about 3 days before the event began and haven’t even got close to unlocking stewie.
Still I got just about everything else (excluding most of the clam building and characters) and have enjoyed this, I guess starting out and being thrown straight into an event was like baptism by fire but Its been a great start all the same.
Finally I am really pleased about the new blam box as I had stockpiled about 50k in blam and like having something I can use it on, rather than just losing it when the event finishes.

Has anyone else encountered the bug where latcher Stewie darkens a building but isn’t actually on the building? And the game freezes when you try to zap him? I received an in-game support message about it, but this seems it may be a real hamper when trying to zap him 25 times in 4 days.

The Help and Support bit in game has this listed, they apparently know of the bug and are investigating. Seems related to Latcher Stewie attaching to a building with a completed quest. In my case it’s Cats & Mouses Cafe with George Takei stuck inside. It doesn’t affect zapping other buildings though. I zapped two other buildings without issues.

It has been an ongoing thing. They keep making changes to combat it. He is a stubborn lil Latcher. The issue keeps changing and varies for players.

I just had this happen today, my Cats & Mouses is darkened with George Takei in it. It shows the Check that he’s done his quest too but the game hangs when I try to zap him. I planned to wait a few hours and see if the phantom Stewie moves to another building

Stewie moved on, I was able to complete George Takei’s quest and zap Stewie off other buildings. weird error, annoying but not a show stopper.

I had been mainly focusing on event quests but I’m glad I completed enough of the usual quests to be close to unlocking Stewie. (Maybe 3/4 or more of the way?) It will be a tight squeeze but after a few more days I might clam the last few items.
I think they should let us exchange our unneeded batteries at the end of the event. – I have over 300
– I guess extra bombs and harpoons can be changed into blam! and blam! can be spent on items so probably no need to exchange those.
I had bombs in the 50s and slowly got it down to 19 (not going to bomb unless I can get between 7-15 guys) then after mystery boxes etc am back to 60 *sigh* I’d rather win duplicate items than all these extra batteries and bombs.

Relax about Iron-Stewie. All you need to do is complete his first quest and you can pick up the rest once you unlock Stewie (whenever that is).

This is in their FAQ page in the game help section. Tap help go to the one about the Fab 4 and scroll down till you see this question. Not sure how much more confirmation needed if it is from them in the game itself.

We understand it was in the FAQ, that was not the point. In direct contact with them and was told originally that Stewie WAS required to be unlocked in order to unlock the option to build the new Stewie. As with many things in this game, things can change on a moments notice. So anytime there is conflicting information, we are on top of it and in immediate communication with them to get to the bottom of it. It is how we are able to provide up to date and accurate information to our readers. We prefer to get confirmation vs just tossing out info and hoping it’s right. I am sure you would appreciate that effort put into it.
(FYI, we have proved the FAQ wrong before or had the info and update BEFORE they had it updated in FAQ) 🙂

I got. …. GEORGE TAKEI!!!! MR SULU!! when i was at 99987, i was OMG! When i killed minion stewies, it said “you reached 100,000!” I was really surprised! No spended any €! Ugh… now Iron Baby questline 😔

I’m really annoyed as I defeated demon Stewie 4 times with my stock pile of harpoons and collected the tentacles but my count still says 0 out of 20!!!!

Fusion reactors only cost 2000 blam each not 5000 and also does that mean if we haven’t unlocked stewie and we get the costume will it disappear when the event ends even though we unlocked it but havnet got stewie?

I am having a serious problem. Since car challenge started I’ve been getting about a third of the usual amount of latchers and as one of the three I got in the last 11 hours freezes my gun so I can’t get that building and no more have appeared since. That makes getting 25 in 4 days impossible. I’ve complained but who knows when they will answer that. So unfair as I have done every challenge so far! How often are latchers supposed to spawn & is it better to stay in the game all the time or keep leaving it for an hour or so. I will be angry if I fail this challenge due to getting less latchers.

Disappointed they didn’t add any buildings capable of dropping Rollocop items, the AskJeeves.com Store would have been a good one to drop microchips for example or the Clamterprise. An extra rare item with only 2 available 8 hour tasks is going to be tricky to get before the end of the week.
It’s also going to be a push to get 20 giant stewie kills, but not impossible.
On the plus side I got really lucky with the Blam Box – got 2 x 5 harpoons, 12 bombs, 2 fusion reactors and all of the decorations (got Robo-Brian on my first try and Giant Stewie on my 3rd try)! I may buy a few more at the end of the event if I have spare Blam in case I get the clams…
Also I bought a couple of reactors for 5000, but after I won the 2 from the mystery box the price seemed to reduce to 2000 – not sure if that is by design or a glitch but I bought the rest of them before it went back up!

You have to have completed Demon Child part 5, and then the first part of the new questline. After you build the training center (peter triggers) the quests will trigger…

geez I have 55 batteries and nothing else I need like harpoons. I really wish this game would allow us to trade an item each day, even if it were just the things like bombs and harpoons and batteries. I could understand not trading decos or buildings etc. and I have only just HEARD of this game this month so Im not even close to Brian let alone Stewie being unlocked, but I spend real money for clams and think it unfair if we all do not get Robo Stewie at some point. Why do people think having played longer means you should have special privileges? What about players like myself who have played only a few weeks but spend a lot? That is probably worth more to the company than a long term freemium player in reality. Not that freemium players arent cool, but this company is in it for money like everyone else

Sorry you feel that way. Why would you assume longer playing people are all Freemiums? I see many Premiums that have been in the game since day one. Us Addicts included. If someone spent a very long time to get where they are, they should be rewarded. If you want to get to a point and want to spend, then do so…but that is your choice. Many others have as well. I do not think it is realistic to base your play of only a few weeks to those that have been playing a long time. I understand you want to vent, but to pick apart other players for not getting something you want is not the right path to go, don’t you think?
As far as money, every business needs to make money otherwise who pays to keep the lights on, new content coming, lawyers, insurance for employees, salaries…the people who put a lot into this just creating this game need to put food on their table and deserve to be paid for the work they do, don’t you think?

Im a new gamer, But for me its a very dificult task!!! Because I dont have stewe yet im a midle on Falcón peter and 20hrs for the new task for stewe. I have the midle task for stewe custom. But I thing that a dont have time tu unlocked. 😔.

We’re waiting for confirmation on it. We’ve been told conflicting things. For now just play through the update and if the quest pops up let us know 🙂
