I also got the Snowman, Mall Santa, Thug Deer, and a few Clams which I used to get the Average Puff o’Stuff. So in all I’m happy with what I got. I’ve got the Stall building under way for Jillian, and thanks to you guys letting us know who earns items needed for Jillian I’ve just set them on those actions, just need to be careful not to tap them until the stalls finished.

Nope…at least not now TinyCo has been known to go back and add animations…it just sits there. At this point (unless they add something for it down the road) it’s a complete waste of 100 clams. (IMO)

Yet again, TinyCo demonstrates impressive planning skills. They release this stuff AFTER the actual event took place and then they even lock the ball drop with multiple extra rare items unlocked with long tasks. I guess they were aiming for the Chinese new year’s celebrations…

Okay this update has got me totally confused as part of the items needed to unlock Chilean you need to get her apartment but apparently you can only unlock her apartment through a ball drop but the ball drop is not available anywhere in my game The Mistry box the cost cookies is full of items that apparently I do not have a need for at the moment that must be for unlocking tuxedo Brian I don’t have the option for tuxedo Brian yet in my game so what happens when a building a character task or the mystery box of drops an item that I do not need at the moment am I just losing those items or will they appear when the task to unlock Brian

The Mystery Box never said the items were for Brian. They are for the Rite of Passage which IS the Ball drop. It is for purchase in your Shopping Cart Menu.

I’ve been playing family guy since the comic con update and i managed to get every character up to now. I have 51/53 and i know Jillian is one of em, but i cant figure out who the other is.. I know there was the full moon event before comic con and i believe the only other character was king butt besides cleavland but im pretty sure its not him because after i got jasper, jesus, and babs it said i had 48/48 then santa and kiss came.. right after i got santa and kiss i was missing 1 character. Then Jillian came and that made it 51/53 for me. Im kinda puzzled if its a character im missing or just a heads up to a new one upcoming.. please could anyone help? Thanks!!! 🙂

Well they fixed facespace. For me its now 56/61 so im assuming the newly added are neil death evil monkey and pawtucket pat so is the last missing one for me king butt?

My cunning plan didn’t work.
After getting all the required items for the tower, setting it off, and planting Jillian’s apartment…
.. and then making sure Jillian had all her Champagne glasses and ticked them off…
I used my last 50,000 cookies and got more hats, party glasses and noise makers. I did get the snowman which was the last thing I needed, but I got no clams. I’ve reported it, as I think it’s uncool to give stuff you no longer have a use for. Even if that meant the box disappeared when I had cookies left, but no NPCs to collect, that would be preferable to more stuff I don’t have a requirement for.

I noticed the glasses don’t show up at founding fathers with snowy skin. But if you switch it back, they’re there.

I got 6 “rare” rewards out of 10, those clams must be “epic” tier.
Not too impressed with 10,000 coins I got either, have 750,000 already, I guess they might help people that started playing at Xmas.
I’m just complaining because I really wanted the Deer Thug but that’s the only NPC I didn’t get and now there’s no way to get it 😦

Once I got Santa, I stopped bothering with cookies beyond building collections. Had I suspected the cookies would have a use, I’d have kept up my king yeti streak, and probably could have opened one more box!

I see they made a group called front men on Facebook which includes Santa mcClane gene n Paul n usually u get clams when u complete a group…is that the case with them? If so how many clams was rewarded? I had them all before they were put into this group so I think that’s y I didn’t get the clams(if any) or the pop up showing I completed it

I believe it was 50. I’ll have to double check with the Screenshots. But if you got them all and weren’t awarded clams contact TinyCo and let them know what happened with your game.

I think it was 25. I think I noticed my clam count go up by about 25 sometime within a day of Christmas even though I never got a prompt. It was hard to determine exactly though as I think I collected about 200 free clams around Christmas from all the stuff going on.

We got 25 free clams from TinyCo on Christmas morning. Having Kiss perform a concert earned 25 clams and completing Frontmen earned 50 clams.

Honestly we don’t know. TinyCo is closed today…so we didn’t get our usual event info and there’s no FAQ info on it. Not sure if someone hit the switch too soon…or what happened. My guess is this event will end on Monday/Tuesday. Like other weekend events.

The party hats will take at least 80 hours without clams or mystery box. 3 characters @ 20 hours/task only nets 9 hats so a 4th round is needed. And who know if “common” will drop every time – drop rates have been inconsistent at best.

When I get the Consuela errors, I hard close all my open apps in the task manager. That way FGTSFS doesn’t have to share files to run.

One bit of advice though that you may want to pass on to people, if they wait on those boxes until they already have the common items, they won’t come up in the box. So you’ll get more value by waiting on them.

I just hope it’s okay to get the stuff to unlock Jillian before she actually appears. And that $5000 prize has got to be the most worthless they’ve ever had for a box, at least for someone who’s sitting on nearly $1M because there’s not much left to spend it on… I’m sure someone who just started recently would like it. Though they probably wouldn’t have been able to get many cookies during the last event, so maybe not.

Jasper who I got after the Christmas event ended despite not fully unlocking him is no longer available to me now which is weird because I was able to play with him and level up but not anymore. There are many items available, not a good time to be broke like me.

It’s honestly hard to say. Sometimes buildings are tiny…and it’s unintentional so TinyCo goes in and changes the size. Sometimes it’s intentional and they’re supposed to be “fun size”.

Still can’t play on my device. Been borrowing phones and tablets just to try to kerp up. Contacted TC 5 times from my device before I was locked out, 3 times through their website and once from my buddy’s tab. No word. They’ve really gotta push an update for ALL devices. Never gifted 31 gifts to friends bc I could visit them. Never ablevto stun shoppers. I’m afraid to try to uninstall bc Google play doesn’t even recognize the game as an option for my device. This is royally effed. Beyond frustrated.

I know the event just started but it seems that first you need to collect all the items in the tower to get Jillian apartment, then you collect those items and that is how you unlock Jillian. That correct?
