Jillian has arrived in Quahog!
She comes with the Easter Egg Booth. The Easter Egg Booth costs $1,000. It’s a 10hr Build Time and earns $180, 120xp/24hrs.

After you’ve placed the Rite of Passage Tower ($1,000) you’ll see a popup appear to unlock Jillian’s Apartment (which you’ll need to fully unlock Jillian).
In order to get the Apartment you’ll (shockingly) have to collect STUFF. Here’s what you’ll need:

Once you’ve collected everything you can make the ball drop…

they’ve added more character tasks to the stuff needed. for example, they put John Roll Out to drop 2015 glasses, Have Peter be a house Elf to drop a party hat…there’s a few more also i can’t find the complete new list anywhere else..

What happens if I have already all collectable stuff, like 2015 glasses or champagne glasses, will they be removed from the mystery box prize list? So it might give higher chances to win clams? 🙂

Seems they have very added more tasks from characters that were not there an hour ed so ago. I can get wine glasses from Brian and Barbara. I can also get eggs from one of the kiss characters and from Jasper. I am now going to keep all non even characters free in case they add a task for them. Oh and you can use angel Bruce to sing carols for the noise makers.

I’m hoping and guessing this event is not just a weekend event, seeing as Bruce has to go Kitten Pickin’ 3 times, which is 60 hours of him gone, and as he can collect both noise makers and champagne glasses. Why give him so much to do if it’s just supposed to be a few days? 😛

Just wanted to shout out Tiny Co for being so awsome! They just added a BUNCH more tAsks to get all the various NYE items. Looks like they worked hard to incorporate all the xmas event characters and outfit tasks. Nice! 🙂

Was anyone else able to purchase Jillian and the Easter Egg table multiple times? Usually when I purchase a character the option to buy them/their building disappears from the store immediately. But when I purchased Jillian yesterday the option remained. Suddenly I looked around my town thinking I hadn’t bought her, cuz I place her in such an obscure place I actually couldn’t find her. So I looked in the store thinking if she’s gone then I bought her. Well the option was still there so I purchased her! Turns out this morning I have two Easter egg places. Only one Jillian though. Would have been cool to have two of her also! But I tried to put one of them into inventory, and I can’t put either in inventory without removing her. Anyone else have that problem?

This will be my first non-event (I’ve only played the xmas one) so any idea as to how long this will last? I’m just shocked that some of these quests are 20 hour quests and must be sent multiple times. So I’m guessing at least 4 days?

I can’t place the rites of passage building every time I try my game shuts down please help I’ve been having problems with the game for a while now if I can place the building then i won’t be able to play the quest

If you have an account created to save the game…
Try hard closing, clearing the cache, uninstalling, restarting your device, and reinstalling the game. That should help to clear the error. If it doesn’t…contact TinyCo and let them know what’s going on in your game.

Honestly, half the time I crash, it’s because I’ve got too much background going on (youtube, clash of clans, and whatever else) and closing out background applications seems to be a helpful trick, but not a cure-all.

I like what I see about this so far…the only thing that would make me hate it is if they said we only have until like Jan 10 or 12th…if it expires quickly then it would stink but if it’s not a limited time then having people do 20 hour missions is OK with me….

You are below the Level 10 mark? You have to have Lois, Peter, Quagmire, Bonnie, Chris, Jerome and Mort unlocked to get the quest. You can still place Jillian and start earning for her, at least, but until you reach level 10 you won’t get the questline. I know this because my daughter just started playing during the last week of the Christmas event and she unlocked Lois the day after NYE event went live. That was also when she hit level 10.

If we get the required 10 party hats from character tasks, will they disappear from the mystery box prizes? If so, then wouldn’t it be better to hold off on spending those cookies until the end of the event!?!?

Only three ways to get party hats — all of which take 20 hours — and in typical TinyCo fashion one of those characters is needed for the main questline. It’s Miracle on Spooner Street with Sexy Santa Lois all over again. God forbid one of the other 25 useless characters get in on the action.

10,000 cookies is a little steap for the Rupert box. The contents are a little disappointing with no new decorations or alts in it. Every time I see the snowman in my town I am very tempted to tap on it. I get the feeling that we may get a Premium character. There was a few references in the Clock tower and another decor that was about Back to the Future. I noticed that Jillian is missing her silhouette on Face Space which tells me we may get another character collection type on Face Space.

I had a little over 180,000 cookies and got all decos, 7 top hats, 5 new year glasses, 1 champagne, and 2 of the coins….so 18 tries and not a single friggin clam!!!!! or the incredible rare noise maker, hasnt dropped once! 😡

When does the new years even end cause I’m playing on samsung galaxy note 2 and since the last tail end of the Christmas event I still can’t play the game keeps saying I need an up date and when I say yes to doing it I get to the play store and it says my phone isn’t compatable for the game. Hope they fix this problem soon any word on it I know I’m one of many who are experiencing this problem.

i think 10,000 is a bit steep, what do i do with the nearly 6,000 i cant use ? I did however, get Mall Santa, Snowman and Thug reindeer, ALL, Christmas stuff thats now not really needed as Christmas is over.
