Hey there Tribblemakers!
Hopping on by to offer a breakdown of just what YOU can get if you take your luck in the Star Trek Uncharted Planet Mystery Box.
You wondering if it is worth it for you to risk 100 of your Precious Clams on the Uncharted Planet Mystery Box? Are the prizes inside helpful? Just what do they do? Well, let’s take a look at just what is inside.
First off though, you need to get far enough in the questline for the Uncharted Planet Mystery Box to open in your Quahog. For me this happened not long after I unlocked the Engineering Bay on the Enterprise. The ! was on my shopping cart when I returned to Quahog and the Mystery Box was there.
Tapping on the Green “PRIZES” button will take you to the Mystery Box screen where you can see what prizes are in there and what YOU have left if you start opening them.
Gorn (Moving Decoration): Once won and placed into your Quahog, this guy will wander your Quahog streets with the rest of your Characters. Now it would be awesome to see him and Captain Kirk have a fight as a task, but alas… he is only a moving decoration. When tapped, he pulls rocks out of the ground and chucks them. (Side Note: You can catch this guy in Star Trek: The Original Series, Arena) UPDATE: Gorn can now go on the Enterprise as well and wander with the Characters there.
Quark’s Bar & Holding Company (Building): Now… it says that’s what is supposed to be… but it’s not what you get on the building name. Lol. What you Actually get is Mort’s Casino and Bar. Since it IS Mort’s Costume… I guess that works. I believe it may have been the name copyright that a change was needed. See below. 😉
Mort’s Casino & Bar (Building): See above. Sits on a 4 x 5 base. Pays out 35 Dilithium Crystals and 6 Starfleet XP every 24hrs. I like that the front doors kind of look like a Ferengi. It is a simple Building that really can fit in anywhere.
Tribble Furrier (Building): Sits on a 7 x 5 base. Pays out 15 Dilithium Crystals & 3 Starfleet XP every 12hrs. This Fur shop has a giant Tribble on top of the sign and a lot of detailed Tribble Furwear in the windows and on exterior. Not sure just yet where I want to put it, but for some reason… next to a Strip Club makes me giggle. Lol.
Armus (Animated Decoration): Sits on a 3 x 3 base. The oil looks to be bubbling and flowing as he stands. When tapped he sinks down into the pool of oil and disappears. Then reappears and rises up. An interesting Decoration to say the least. (Side Note: You can catch this oozing blob of a guy in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Skin of Evil)
350 Dilithium Crystals
300 Dilithium Crystals
So my thoughts on the Materials… EVERYONE wants Clams of course. Lol. The Dilithium Crystals are the main source of Currency this game and the only other way to even start getting them in a large one time quantity like this would be to buy a Clam item. The Dilithium Lab for 200 Clams will produce more overall the Event than a one time shot for 100 Clams. The Life Support and Ore are a bit more hard to come by, so they may be worth it.
BUNNY’S RESULTS
I was back and forth while taking my chances on the Mystery Box over 3 days. Here are my results.
Quark’s Bar & Holding Company
5 Synthesizer Ore
350 Dilithium Crystals
Armus
Tribble Furrier
300 Dilithium Crystals
5 Synthesizer Ore
300 Dilithium Crystals
350 Dilithium Crystals
5 Synthesizer Ore
350 Dilithium Crystals
150 Clams
300 Dilithium Crystals
15 Life Support Energy
Gorn
I was going to stop at Gorn as he was the final “Prize” item, but wanted to just see my luck after.
150 Clams
350 Dilithium
200 Clams
So I found that a good place to stop. Lol. Every Players luck will vary from mine, but that gives you and overall idea how my luck went. In the end it is always YOUR choice to invest into the game and use your precious Clams to gain items. Just make sure it is what YOU want to do.
How about your luck? Did you give it a try? Did you get the items you wanted? Worth it to you? No need to rush on this one. Doesn’t look like it is going anywhere. Let us know your thoughts.

Wow only thing I wanted was gorn but as it took you 1500 clams I think I’ll pass! They usually release a more expensive box first (75-100 clams) and then follow it with a cheaper 50 clam box. Honestly the cheaper ones usually have better items anyways.

I would only want gorn if he could speak. All the hissing and “I shall be mercyful” would be awesome!

No sound yet. Just chucks rocks when tapped.

I tried once so far and got the Tribble Furrier which I find a nice price. Specially compared to TSTO Homer Buddha Box were I twice had the luck of Homer Buddha > Mystery Box > a) Parking Lot / b) 3x White Fence – and I thought myself ripped of my money.

ten tries (1000 clams) to get Gorn. The 2 buildings, the sludge guy, no clams, no Gorn. bah

If you have Clammy Secrets or S&M More, put the Tribble Furrier next to them lol 😉

I learned my lesson from comic con when the Clamterprise was in one of the premium mystery boxes– and I spent hundreds of clams trying to win it– only for it to be offered for in-game coins to newer players months later. Never again.

I want gorn so badly cuz i love them ncp character Walking around town. Theyre a great addition to the game if u ask me. But everything else doesnt seem worth it. I get worn out with these mystery boxes. It just seem to get so much money outta me and i walk away feeling rip off most of the time so this time ima wait till the end to see more option.

All for the sake of the site. 😉
That’s a drop in the hat what we go through. Figure better we spend it and test it out so thousands others have an idea what they’re getting into.

I got 150 clams, 200 clams, 15 life support energy, 5 synthesizer ore, then Armus. I was happy because I was able to get Morts skin fairly quick. I think I’ll wait to see what else gets released but I really would like the Tribble Furrier. I have a mystery box addiction so I am trying to control myself since we have so much event left😋 Have a great day everyone and hopefully it’s spring where you are😊

I’m not gonna try my luck on the box (I would but the materials are just too low. The cubes would have to be at least ten and either 500 or 600 would be somewhat acceptable for the dilathium.) I do hope we get a chance to get the mystery box prize room when the event ends just like we got the statues in the Valentines day event. It is the coolest looking decoration in the event so far.

I am pleased with my luck on this box. In other events I have not been as lucky. I have tried twice so far. First I got The Casino/Bar..second time I got the Tribble Furrier. I could use all the other stuff, ( I like decos and npc’s, but the higher the price/chance for them the less I need them, lol. I have experience enough to know, that soon, there will be plenty of ways to get all the stuff I need, so for me, the buildings were great. I collect characters, skins and buildings in that order, and when its all said and done, and ST is over…I will still have some cool buildings. Worth it…

Not a gambler. They’d be better off listing the contents idividually to get clams out of me. I’m not willing to gamle money on things I can earn for free in game.

Then I gave up. I wanted the buildings, but did not want to get rid of all of the clams I spent my last 20 bucks for. No more money until April 1.

Got Armus and Gorn back-to-back and stopped. Walking NPCs are basically just characters you don’t have to level so I always want them. Armus has a fantastic animation. Would fit in a Halloween setting, too, if you have a block dedicated to it like I do.

I needed 7 tries to get what I wanted, the prizes were I got were Tribble Furs, The Casino, 15 Life support, 200 Clams, Armus, 350 Dilithium, and finally Gorn….Gorn was the only reason I bought the boxs, thats why i stopped after him….Although I do like the buildings and armus, the life support came in handy and the 200 clams made it so i really only spend 500 clams on everything…..As far as the dilithium prize goes, its easy to feel ripped off by receiving anything less than 1000 dilithium for 100 the clams that the box costs…350 is way too low.

As a rule, I generally don’t do the Clam Mystery Boxes as I don’t think the rewards are worth the risk. Very glad they’ve never put characters or skins in them so I can live without the prizes. I’m not criticising as I’m sure loafs of people invest in the boxes but I’m more happy to pay for something certain, if at all. Always get in on the in game currency mystery boxes though!

Never again will I do a box like this. 100 clams and I got (can’t remember) something I already has 1,000 of.

I haven’t tried the mystery box yet. I will in the future on my next payday. I have a question, while visiting my friends I noticed a glowing gold box on top of the round thing next to the shuttle. All of my friends have one, but I don’t.

It is coming in another post I have waiting in drafts. It’s the items from the Replicator aboard Enterprise beamed down to Quahog. 😉
LikeLike
I believe it means you have a Star Trek related deco/building in storage.
LikeLike
Correct. When you make something on Enterprise, like Replicator, it’s beamed down to Quahog storage. So it shows there on transport to let you know it arrived from the ship. Tapping in it takes you right to Inventory storage and the item created on Enterprise 😉
LikeLike
The box appears when you use the Replicator and to show. that the item created is ready to be placed in your Quahog. TinyCo did this so players could find items they win/create during this event to solve the problem players had is past events, who couldn’t find items earned.

Bunny can we trade quahogs? Pppplease if you don’t I might start to develop a stutter.
