Hello There Space Clammers!
Star Trek has taken over Quahog! A Starfleet Shuttle has conveniently crashed in Quahog and apparently someone decided that the future of the Galaxy should rest on Peter’s shoulders. (cause that sounds like a smart idea!) It’s your mission to help Peter save the Galaxy, after all it’d be a pretty boring game if he did it by himself!
Along the way you’ll unlock skins/costumes for your favorite residents of Quahog…and Meg! These costumes will help you earn items needed to unlock other characters and more Dilithium Crystals, the much needed event currency for this event! During Phase 1 (week 1), there are two costumes you’ll be able to unlock Starfleet Peter and Ferengi Mort. Let’s take a closer look at this costumes and see just what happens when you unlock them in your Quahog…
Starfleet Peter is the first skin you’ll be able to unlock.
The questline Oh Captain, My Captain will prompt you to collect STUFF to unlock Starfleet Peter. Here’s a look at just what you’ll need to get Peter into this Red Shirt…
8 Red Shirts (common): Earned By: Make Chris Fat Kid Hula Hoop
8 Replicator Hamburgers (Uncommon): Earned By: Make Jerome Be a Superior Athlete OR Make Riker Seduce Alien Ladies OR Make Joe Give Himself a Sponge Bath
14 Captain’s Logs (Rare): Earned by: Make Peter Stub His Knee OR Get from Beige Tribble OR Get from Brown Tribble OR Get from Yellow Tribble
150 Dilithium Crystals: Earned by: Tapping Tribbles AND Completing Quests
Peter is part of the Trekkie Griffins character set…in fact he’s the first one you’ll unlock:

Peter does have a very short questline associated with the Oh Captain, My Captain quest…and you can view more details on it here…however, his primary role is to help you earn more Dilithium Crystals and help you earn items to unlock more characters! Here’s a look at Starfleet Peter’s tasks:

Now let’s take a look at Ferengi Mort…
Ferengi Mort is a bit different than the other characters/costumes introduced so far, in that he’s craftable in the Replicator (details on the Replicator can be found here) and not a character you find and have to collect STUFF for. Of course even crafting Ferengi Mort will still require you to collect some STUFF. Here’s a look at what you’ll need to craft Ferengi Mort in the Replicator:
350 Crystals
10 Life Support Energy
5 Synthesizer Ore (Energy)
Once you’ve collected those items you can head over to the Replicator and craft Mort!
Note: IF you’re currently building another outfit in Al Harrington’s and you haven’t yet crafted Ferengi Mort, Ferengi Mort will temporarily disappear from the Replicator until the outfit you’re building is finished. This is because you can only create one outfit in Al Harrington’s at a time & if you try to create more than one at a time it will result in you losing an outfit. So this is a stop put in so that you won’t accidentally create two at once. So don’t panic if you don’t see him listed in the Replicator. Wait until the costume you’re building is complete and then he should reappear.
Once crafted Ferengi Mort is yours forever! Tip: Make sure Mort is free when you’re creating this costume.
Ferengi Mort does come with a very short questline (1 part) once unlocked. Here’s a look at that questline:

Can’t believe there isn’t a warning in the game to let you know that Mort has to be free for you to claim his Ferengi skin. I’ve now wasted a load of crystals and ore with nothing to show for it but a 2nd pointless Starfleet statue.

Seriously, this event is by far the worst they’ve had. It’s prompting me to stop this game entirely. Glad it’s working out great for y’all, but it’s annoyingly time consuming. Also, I’m trying to get all these trebles, but they disappear before I can get ’em all. Bs

@grinsepilz congrats on landing all the right numbers on the percentage rolls for drops. Consider that the rest of us aren’t, and considering the time investment and limited time of the event, it can be frustrating, as many have explained here. Rather than thumb your nose, understand that most everyone else is not experiencing your good results.

I hit level 2 on the starfleet XP , had a countdown timer appear , signed off and when i came back im still at level one warp and the timer is gone , it now says be back soon! What gives?

I have 2 Super Rad Cargo Bays and Bonnie is dedicated to the task to get Synthesizer Ore yet only 1 has dropped in 3 days. I’m on the game every 1-2 hours (except for 6 hrs sleeping) so I know I’m trying at every opportunity. If it was called an Epic item I wouldn’t like it but I think it would make more sense than calling it rare. I’m hoping TinyCo makes an adjustment and I’m guessing they will bc they seem to want to ensure our game happiness.

The drop rate on the energy cubes is killing me. I got to four and now haven’t gotten one from either for the past couple of days.

You can get red shirts and children books from rooms from the cargo bay and robotics lab, I forget which is which though. I assume you know this but can’t find it anywhere so, there’s that.

Couldn’t agree more about the poor drop rate on the Synthsizer Ore. I have gotten a single one in two and a half days. This is ridiculous.

I agree with everyone on the green ore drop rate. I’ve only had 1 drop since I crafted one of each item from Phase 1. I’m not sure if this is what TinyCo means when they say drops are working as intended, but it certainly feels like a nerf.

Hey I was wondering if the mort outfit goes away after part 2 starts cause I need 1 more green cube and have been trying to get it I got 2 cargo bays and have Bonnie on it all day every day and don’t get them

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to make sure of something. I am still one green ore short of getting mort skin and I still haven’t built the loans building. They seem real stingy with the green ore. I have 2 super rad cargo bays and Bonnie constantly working for them but it’s real slow. Will I still be able to get them when phase 1 runs out or do they go away with phase 2? Also will it affect me during phase 2 not to have gotten them yet? Thanx and have fun.
One other quick thing I just thought of, would it make sense to have more than 2 super rad cargo bays to up the chances of green ore?

i just realized yesterday that Peter is wearing the original one piece costumes from season 1 (maybe season 2 as well?), didnt notice til one of his tasks has him pull on it to adjust the shirt. its kinda funny since the shirt pulling comes from the two piece suits they eventually got.

I wonder if I’ll get the mort skin before the even ends. I wonder if I’ll get the last green ore for him…before the event ends. This is by far the most frustrating thing they’ve done. I contacted them and told them how it’s taken all week and only gotten 4 for a rare item and they said it’s working fine and that another character can earn ores after the next phase. So that’s 2 characters now that will be useless doing the same task all day for no payout. Over it already

I’ve unlocked everything and like a lot of people I have done it without clams
And as we sit here patiently waiting for phase 2 I’ve noticed how easy picking up starfleet xp has become, At the start I thought I would never make it to level 2 in a week, but with all the characters unlocked it’s so much easier to pick up the xp and the dithlium crystals

I agree with everyone else on green ore, though. I got all I need to unlock stuff, no problem, but now that I am trying to collect a bunch of stuff, the only thing causing problems is green ore. 1 in the past 2 days. This with 2 rad cargo bays and bonnie drinking almost constantly.

Ugh. I’ve gotten one the entire WEEK! And that one was only after tech support “helped”.
Not keeping a new character or any buildings… I’m not super psyched to keep going. Especially if tribbles are leaving.

The drops for the green ore are terrible. Bonnie’s been going to ladies night nonstop since the event started and has yet to drop a single ore. I’ve gotten a couple from the SR Cargo bay, but they’ve stopped also. I did however just spend 21k coins on Taco trucks which landed me 75 Starfleet XP. Not sure if that’s supposed to happen, but it works:)

It would be really helpful in these kind of posts if you could list how long each collection task takes — for example, to get “Red Shirts (common)” you need to “Make Chris Fat Kid Hula Hoop (2 hours)”. That way we have a sense of how long it’ll take to collect the needed items. Thanks for considering this.

It seems that ore isn’t dropping at all any more. After gaining four earlier I’ve gone through 6-7 attempts by bonny and I have 2 super rad rooms and haven’t had a single or drop since.

I finally unlocked Ferengi Mort this morning and only because the Super Rad Cargo Bays drop the Synthesizer Ore. Bonnie has been drinking for more than four days straight, is totally wasted, and is least clumsy drunk I’ve ever heard of. She never drops anything! After a bender like hers, I’d drop a lot more than ore!! TinyCo really needs to up the drop rate for her…it was easier to get the eyes for Anime Peter.

1 drop in a week is a concern for some. If you’re getting better than that then great, many people aren’t. If those kind of drop rates keep up some players will only be halfway through the event by the time it ends.

I hate to say this but Bonnie dropped again the daily ore … and from the side of TinyCo the drops are working like intended.
I have to admit one drop a week sounds really a concern, if played often. I was talking about payers who are waiting for the last ores to drop and then start complaining.
I also remember when Jesus wasn’t dropping clams for weeks, sometimes you just have bad luck on this things.

The drop rate for the green ore is horrible. I have the rad cargo bay and Bonnie out doing quests for each and still only have two of them. I will get Mort and his awesome skin, but it looks like it will take some time. There should be more ways to earn the ore. I have my useless toons out doing 24 tasks and they should all be involved! Why isn’t Mr. Sulu and Patrick Stewart involved in phase 1? I hope they have SOMETHING to do since they are actually part of Star Trek

You can try to improve the odds by placing another Super Rad Room in one of your available bays. If you’re out of bays, there’s an option to change the one that you’ve already built.
