The Final Frontier is on the Horizon in our Star Trek Event and Warp Core 6 has brought us the last of the goodies into our game. There is a few changes to keep in mind around, so hang tight while we verify them all for you. Just refresh the post now and then to see the details as we add them. 😉
As for some highlights…
NOTE: The Borg Cube will be for Captian Pike Joe (once you are fully in Warp Core 6), The Warbird will still be there for the Condoms and Emotion Chips.

As I already unlocked EVERYTHING from the Mystery Box prior, she was the first thing I won when I tried it again. Remember, this is MY results. YOURS will vary. She will take 10mins to Create in Al’s once you win her.

After I finally tapped on Chris when he was done battling Bertram, I went to the first part of the questline. I now see that the two other Kool Aid Items are now in my Decorations tab in the shopping cart. So for those of you that have him, check there. Mine was between the American Flag and the Gigantic Beanstalk. For you… try in Between the Small Playground and the Vending Machine (gotta go in a bit in the Decorations).

NEW PHASER BATTLES
The Borg Cube has now entered the Phaser Battle Arena. Approach this one the same as the Shielded PeterCraft as it will need… THREE HITS!
It goes REALLY REALLY slow. I was able to destroy it no problem even with a delay on my GS4 before it left the screen. The payout… 5 Oxygen Tanks. WOOHOO!!! So watch for the diagonal approach on the Borg Cube and fire on it THREE TIMES before it leaves the screen to get the award.
TAKE THIS SLOW. Approach it with patience, not panic. If the shot is not good, don’t take it. Wait. Wait for a better opportunity to present itself. 3 Phaser Energy is a lil more of a drain so spend it wisely.
Each hit will show. First one a lil damage and blow out. The Second hit even more separation. The final destroys it and your award pops out.
This is the BEST way to get the Oxygen.
NEW BORG BERTRAMS
There are now two more Borg Bertram Boss Levels to challenge you in the Holodeck. There are ONLY 5 Characters that can battle Borg Bertram and that has not changed. You can see the first and a lot of tips 3 HERE.
If you were battling the previous 3rd Laser Borg Bertram, and have completely launched into the new Warp Core Phase 6, tap on the checkmarks and he will go into Cool Down in the NEW 4th Bladed Borg Bertram Costume.

Anyone else LOVING the away team mission to the borg cube? I think it makes up for a lot of frustration involved with this event. Chance for 5 clams or 500 crystals every hour? Yes thank you! 🙂 It helped me get to Kirk last night and I’ll have Captain Pike Joe tonight.

I’m on The Road To Recovery pt.8, and System Failure pt.6. Final Frontier hasn’t shown up because I’m still on System Failure, but what’s the point in following any of the main questlines if they only pay out an extra 15 Dilithium per part?
Answer: no point whatsoever, when all of my event characters are on short tasks or transporter missions or battling Borg Bertram, all for more badly-needed Dilithium. MOAR DILITHIUM.

To my amazement, I got Kirk today. Those 15K DC felt impossible for a long time, but continuously battling Bertram at his top level with just the four freemium characters made it possible. One key is to have as many characters as possible to “roll over” to the next round as described here, so I can get in five attacks within the 24hr window (and even get decent sleep). I am also spamming away teams to the borg cube for the 500 DC as often as I can.
I still want to get Data (last software still did not drop LOL), Joe’s new costume and Sarong Herbert. I’ll have all of Joe’s dark matter tomorrow, if I can beat Bertram once more – and of course I need to earn all the DC for Data and Joe, since I just spent everything I had on Kirk. Herbert has the lowest priority, might even keep shooting for more free clams from the Borg Cube after all is said and done.

Has anyone finished the Final frontier-questline? Is there a prize at the end of it? Is it worth trying to finish it? Seems more worth aiming at finishing Kirk and Joe’s costume. I can’t get all, it seems.

I just thought he might be like the yeti cuz he was shown next to consuela for warp core 6. Just an assumption on my part but tinyco kinda sticks with the same formula for the events so thought for sure we would get something like that for him.

I wonder if they are going to skip letting people keep bertum because of the problems they had with the yeti. They said you got to keep king yeti if you beat him. I beat him every day he was available, and asked them why I did not receive him. They did not respond until after the event was over; They said I should have gotten him but they could not help me now because the event was over.

I spent over £100 just on this event despite the fact I logged in to the game daily, multiple times. Is this the case with most people here? Has anyone actually managed to earn all free characters without spending a penny?

I only bought one premium character, Spock, due to the charity donation element. He didn’t help with the actual event and to date without any other premium purchases I have unlocked everything freemium apart from Pike Joe, just need another few dark matter which I will get tonight when I defeat Bertram. So yes it was possible but it did take a lot of popping in and out of the game at odd hours day and night, especially for defeating Bertram at top level with only the freemium characters. Had to work at this one, but I think between the clam awards for completing the 2 freemium character sets, clam dropping tribbles and now the Borg planet I have probably got back most of the cost of Spock.

I’m currently one Borg Bertram battle away from unlocking Captain Pike Joe – I already have the Dark Matter, but I need the Dilithium boost after finally unlocking Data. That just leaves Kirk, which I’ll probably have the Dark Matter for but nowhere near enough Dilithium in the time left. Past three weeks have been an total slog, but I haven’t spent a penny or used any of my stored-up free clams.

I only purchased the premium characters (apart from borg consuela, I wont do the prizes as the cost is too high and they have worthless booby prizes like dark matter..) So prizes, no premium rooms or any premium buildings. There is 3 1/2 days to go and I only need 12 dark matter to get kirk (tier 5 bertram is 12 hours from being killed) I have 75+ of all other resource and 16k d crystals and all the other prizes. I will go rank 11 today as well.
Borg meg does not have any questlines so she has been farming the planet with 750 and a 450 d crystal drop chance

Yes, I’ll have my last freemium character tonight after defeating Bertram one more time. The only premium character I got was Guinan to help with Bertram and I used clams I had been saving up for months to do so. Was going to get Q but when I saw that he didn’t help out with phaser battles, I reconsidered. Didn’t pay a penny

Quick question, I know everyone is freakin out about the crystals and you guys have been saying don’t worry trust us, relax we all will get the crystals from Bertram. There was even an in depth break down with 10 days left.
But, I’m starting to worry, I just beat the last level of Bertram, everything I have seen said it was like the Yeti from Christmas. Well the Yeti when you beat the last level you got 100,000 ginger breadmen. So I thought when we beat Bertram we would get a buch of crystals. That wasn’t the case, while 2000 crystals is a lot it’s not enough with everything else being so low of payouts and the characters/decorations costing so much. I still need Data 4000, Joe 4000 and Captain Kirk 15000 plus the new decorations that came out in the replicator total 2250 of crystals. That’s a total of 25250 of crystals in four days, that’s besting Bertram almost 13 times. Yes I know I get stuff from the rooms, the buildings, characters. But that still seems impossible!!!!! I send the characters out to the planets with the high payouts in the crystals buts it’s very rare to actually get it.
Is anyone one else in this situation? I’m trying my hardest to be able to accomplish everything before the event ends.

You did not get that from the Yeti Battle. You are remembering the Event incorrectly. Much like this Event, you had to continuously Battle the Yeti over n over n over to keep getting the items you needed for Jesus. This meant get to the top Yeti and stay there.
The Cookies actually were given to you by Santa and useless to many by then. Which is why they had a cookie box after the event.
Now with this Event, the battle is the same. If you want enough Dark Matter and Dilithium… battle Bertram over n over n over. The more Characters you have/use… the faster he goes down and the more you can get within the time allotted.
Add all of that on top of the daily amounts you can earn via the Math post and your Dilithium counts can be going pretty high.
My suggestion is focus on one Character at a time. Work towards them. Worry about replicator items very last.

Is it just me, or is it going to be impossible to fight Betram enough to get Kirk AND do the Final Frontier questline?
I sent Geordi on some tasks instead of fighting, and i think that’s already going to cost me, then accidentally sending Locutus on a 2hr task instead of Picard on a 6hr facepalm means i have to decide whether i can keep him off Betram for 8 hours or not.
If it weren’t for the 24hr reset timer, i might consider restarting Betram and getting him back to the top level, but i can’t afford not to be collecting dark matter for a whole day. It’s not like the other characters are doing anything useful….
Also, after not originally planning to get Guinan or Q, i did get both (and Q has been useless so i don’t know why i bothered), but since it was outside the 24hr window i miss out on klingon meg. Bit of a rip off there.

I wouldn’t worry about the questline. There was nothing at the end (see basics bottom this post). Focus only on what YOU want in the game.

I need some advice from the brain trust here.
I have all materials for Dr. Crusher, Vulcan Quagmire, and Captain Picard…except for Dilithium Crystals.
Right now I have Klingon Chris, Geordi, and Talosian Stewie attacking Borg Bertram.
Do I unlock Vulcan Quagmire and Dr. Crusher (at lower crystal requirements) to help earn more crystals, or do I slowly save up to the 8,000 to get Picard to join the Borg Bertram battle?

Hi Bunny, I’m on Starfleet level 10 and have my warp core to 6. I need to get synthesizer ore so I can get Picard and Kirk. One of the options listed is to destroy shielded Peter craft, but when I go to do a phaser battle the Borg cube and warbirds are the only ships that appear. I tried destroying them a few times to get the ore, but I’ve only received experience points and crystals. Am I missing something?

If you upgraded… the PeterCraft are gone. Sorry. I have not tested the Warbird or Cube any further to see if they drop any. Mainly mine are coming from Enterprise rooms and planet trips.

Just reached sf xp levl 10 upgraded warp core and it turned into building site force closed game cleared cache still no warp core se after rebooting device is it normal? ?

You see no Warp Core? Or it finished up and is just a building now? Tapping on it give the name? If so, that’s it. Done. Nothing more left to it. Now to move forward… there is still the questlines (see top of this very post you are commenting on.) 😉

Yah… it is part of the memory drain issues I am seeing. Cog wheels and open slot means the game is struggling rendering those pixels.

VQuag + SLois to Borg Cube yielded 500 DC (x4) 5 clams (x2) on 8 trips after catheters and Enterprise were complete. 1 TE/1 HR…this has dramatically increased my DC production. Hadn’t gotten the extra dc or clams with Peter included, so he’s strictly grinding on software, nor with any of the characters alone.

I’ve collected all the items for talosian stewie Picard and data I’m just short of crystals, I’ve got only 3500 in total!,which one should I go for? Data would be a new character Picard I might get before deadline again a new character stewie would be just a new outfit,so what would you advise

I’m not sure if I’m putting this question in the right place but ever since the core upgrade I haven’t been able to message TinyCo in my game. My messages are sitting there with red exclamation marks next to them saying they could not be sent. When I click on “try again” nothing happens. Not sure what to do. I also had won clams in the Borg cube that never added to my total. Lastly, can anyone tell me what the best payout is in the shooting game? I have several phaser energies stored up and have acquired all the items that I can get so I’m trying to increase my crystal totals by using the shooting game but not sure what is the best thing to aim for that will get me the most crystals? Thanks!

While I have him attacking Bertram hes also in Quahog shooting his laser randomly,its quite funny. Not sure if this has been mentioned before but figured id mention it 🙂 🙂 .

You know after writing you again I went back to my game for drop checks. After 2 1\2 days of fighting that ship, I did get one space condom and 3 chips, so I guess its working still. Just my luck I guess. It just was weird because I didn’t see any for a bit, so that’s why I asked. As always thank you so very much for doing an awesome job!!

It drops both… but it will vary on what one it drops each time. For me, it seemed more chips. But no worries, once the chips are gone all you will see is the condoms. 🙂

I love ‘Cannon Borg Bertram’!!! The flashing red color looks so awesome during battle. Not to mention the payouts! Thanks to the last level battle, will have all the dark matter needed to unlock Kirk today. Yay! 🙂

Same here – early last week I really wasn’t sure if I would be able to get Kirk – especially with the large dark matter total needed. Thanks to all the helpful tips I am 40 dark matter away from getting Kirk and I have succeeded in getting all characters but Edo Herbert 😢.

Anyone knows what happens when you kill cannon borg Bertram? I guess I get my 50 dark matters, and crystals, and then Bertram cools down. Then he respawns as first level Bertam with 5 hitpoints or last level Bertram with 40 HP?

If you have all 5 unlocked for Bertram… it keeps going up. It will only reset to the bottom level after cool down if you FAIL to defeat him.

Sadly i have had enough of this game! With the in game glitches and tiny co’s pure unabaded greed this game has lost its luster 😦
Just wanted to thank you guys for the tips on game play other wise i would have stopped playing long ago.
If you think iam nuts add up this event only and see what the total comes too ! This event alone cost more then an Xbox game, Tinyco are you serious this is nothing more then a screen tapping game that takes no real skill !

He is just a battle. Like the Phaser Battles, just another way of gaming. He may be offered later, but we will have to wait and see.

Thinking they will offer him as a deco, like they did with King Yeti. At least I hope so. Really want to keep him as a souveneir. Just praying they don’t put him in another freagin mystery box. But like you said, will just have to wait and see…

i have won 2 lots of clams from sending teams to the borg cube and havent received them both times. anyone else having this problem? have already reported it to tinyco numerous times with no response.

Patience. It was JUST launched and it takes on average 3 business days for a response. Hang in there and allow them time to get back into the office and help you. 😉

So to complete the storyline, you have to purchase the fencing centre, tag arena and chip factory… using up dilithium that is needed for Kirk and Joe. Sadly looks like for the first time I may have to ignore the rest of the story, which has been fun all the way through.
Am getting 500 crystals sometimes by sending Peter to Borg Cube but I will need lots of luck to beat the final Bertram.

Maybe it’s just my game but I’ve noticed that Joe’s Captain Pike skin in Al’s keeps increasing in cost of clams with each thing I collect. It was only like 1400 clams to unlock him earlier and I got all the catheters, oxygen tanks, and nearly all of the crystals and his price went up to 2000 clams to unlock now. That seems very wrong. Why in the hell would he cost that much AND keep increasing in price? Usually they go down in price with each item collected.

Let me ask this… are you using those items he needs to get other Characters and items? Like is the amount of Dilithium you have in your game going up and down in amounts? Is your Dark Matter? As you use a Material for someone or something else, it will leave less to use for him… therefore increasing his cost. Make sense. 😉

No. I’m not touching any of the items period. I’m just collecting. My totals are increasing and he keeps going up in price. He’s frozen now at 2000 clams. But I nearly have everything to unlock him. I need 5 more of those dark matter. Not really going to matter since I’ll have him unlocked later by earning everything. I’m just confuzzled as to why his price to unlock now with clams increased instead of decreased with items collected. It went from less than 1000 clams at the start and kept going up. I’ve spent nothing and have purchased nothing. No buildings, no characters, no skins, nothing from the replicator. NOTHING. Am I clear enough now?

Sorry if this has been posted already. Has anyone noticed that while Captain Pike Joe is busy on a quest – original Joe is spinning around in front of James Woods high? Cute!! BTW great job with the info Bunny & Alyssa. This is only my second comment but I have been using your site since I started playing last year. It’s been so helpful – you gals are amazing!!

so.. i’m working on kirk, stewie and joe.. need dark matter and dilithium. i have been pretty diligent about the bertram battles but my team is only 3 characters. i’m currently on level 4, but know there is no way i can beat level 5. is there any way to forfeit and go back to level 1? i don’t want to spend an entire day waiting.. to lose a fight that i know i can’t win. just wondering if i’m missing something!

I screwed up on one of the lower level Bertram bates and did not complete the fight before the timer went off. I was given the option to pay 20 clams to get an additional 24 hrs to finish the fight. do you know if that’s still an option for the higher level battles? would not mind paying 20 clams for the level 5 battle prizes…

I got 6 Dark Matter the 1st time, Then the Clams, Then got Consuela. But ive already got everything, only things left was the 2 clam prizes & 2 dark matter prizes.
