Hey there Clammers, Bunny hopping on by to make a cute lil cozy spot in our new lil world where you can shout at me…errr…well…comment to me anyway of the big (or lil) glitches and hiccups you are running into with your game. We are bound to run into a few as the game gets its bearings. No worries, they eventually get ironed out and patched up.
So here is a place that you can come to and notify us when you run into troubles with a glitch. This way I can pick up on a trend and let TinyCo know right away so they can work on correcting it. They are quite fantastic to work and communicate with. Very helpful to their players.
So tell me your problems and try to include a few key points like the device you play on and/or what was happening when you experienced the Glitch.
As always, you can use the great design of the game to get further help should you need it. Just a tap of the Menu and go into Help & Support.
UPDATE 4-13 6:45om EST:
TinyCo has found the source of the timing issue with the characters (they start a task and after being left for hours, still have same time remaining as when you left the game.) Update to resolve the issue is in the process along with Bruce Glitch.
Here are a few suggestions from TinyCo to resolve issue in the meantime.
In some cases, if you log off before a character begins an action, the game will not start the action. You will know an action has started when you see the countdown timer appear.When you assign actions, wait until the action countdown timer begins. Once the action is going, it is safe to log off.To be extra sure, we recommend leaving the game running for a minute or two before exiting.
For those of you with the “Bruce” screen continuously popping up, please go to our Bruce Glitch Thread and follow the instructions there. I will continue to update it as I get response back.

Hi from Jolly old England. TQFS crashed and i tried uninstalling, deleting cache and data, reinstalling,removing Google linked account, redownloading, reinstalling, complete reset of phone (Android 4.4) and still cannot resolve issues. Game restarts with locked screen which cannot navigate through, intermittent hand graphic appearing randomly behind Chris and no matter how many times I try I cannot do a clean install. It seems as though the game save data is corrupt. HELP. Thank you

Hello! Anybody else having trouble with spawn rates during 24hr event? Before it started; my town had enough Bee Swarms to film Invasion of The Bee Girls 2! Now I have a town with more bears than Rangers Smith, Powers, and Jess Q can handle! And zero Bee Swarms. I fear I will run out of time with your four swarms to go, and I’ve been checking constantly for the last 90 minutes.

Anyone know if the Honey Bears are supposed to drop records everytime? I thought they were. Mine are not. Sometimes I get coins and nothing else. It stinks. Especially since I need them to unlock DJ Herbert.

I thought this was a glitch too as my first three honey bears didn’t drop records so I asked them in game and they replied that they are not always going to srop records – now having said that, ever since then they’ve dropped a record every single time ??

I didn’t get the Connie Halloween costume because my Founding Father didn’t drop the meg doll up until the last few hours of the game!! I was 3 dolls away, had everything else & I literally spent my WHOLE weekend playing in order to get the costumes. This is ridiculous & makes me want to stop playing this game – I play nonstop and have spent money on the game therefor it should be working PROPERLY and if it’s not and they know it, why hold an event lasting only 2 days?! I’m so jacked.. They could have at least extended the event for 4 extra hours or even a DAY for those of us who have experienced this glitch!! Then the last event, with Retep & Evil Syewie I had problems with my characters not “completing tasks” although they DID complete them!! Which I have read through and realized I’m not the ONLY one.. so BECAUSE OF THEIR GLITCHES I HAVE MISSED 3 CHARACTER COSTUMES. I AM NOT A HAPPY CAMPER HERE!! Fix the glitches or shut the game down!!!!! I mean geezh, tinyco.. way to show its all about the money and nothing about the consumer!! Bunny, should I write them about my issues orrrr? Idk what to do here. If I keep missing characters I’m going to quit the game all and all & I’m on level 32 so I don’t WANT to quit playing, but I will if this continues.

As far as Founding Father, that was fixed pretty quick and it should have been dropping all weekend for you. If it was not, and you had it in its Original form (building skins won’t drop items as they are not the building) contacting them should have been done directly from your game. The games I was testing were dropping from Founding Father soon after when they patched it.
It is up to you how you proceed from here, but if you have an issue… let them know. They don’t know you’re having a problem unless you tell them. 😉

?? Do you mean that you are having issues seeing the Characters in the game itself? Or in the dialog as you tap on through it?

If you are seeing blocks of color for a Character instead of a Character… you may have a corrupted file. We see that now and then with corrupted files and “altered” games.
The best I can offer you is the basic troubleshooting and outside of that, contact TinyCo.

Detective Scrotes has a 16 hour task that says is animated but when you put him on the task he just stands there in one spot doing nothing. Alissa/Bunny is this happening to you as well?

Hey I play the family guy game on an iPhone 5S. It’s the mob event and my fatfather has glitched. The quest cookie crumbles pt.7 won’t go away. Every time I tap fatfather Lois and Cleveland Jr. have their talk then the tasks for Lois and Bonnie both have check marks but it won’t go away. And I have to tap him in between every other person I tap to do a task because it thinks I have a quest. Help?

i have a problem with the Pawtucket brewry and mort. He is the only on who can get candy for Consuela but due to the brewry event, he has multiple items but doesn’t give candy, only id cards. anyone have the same issue?

?? Candy for Consuela?? The only thing I see him doing right now is helping when you reach the Chihuahuas Obstacle in the Safe House ONLY when you reach the Chihuahuas Obstacle with a temporary task show to drop Dog Food.

My game will not load since the last update have tried emptying cache, uninstall-reinstall, checking memory etc can’t seem to fix it the error is a config error with a changing first line everytime i try to load or push the game ok button when error comes up it changes i am on iphone 6 with less than 10% of phone memory in use so it is not memory or old version problem i have screenshots of errors but can’t seem to post them here

That will only make it worse for you. Flooding them with emails on a holiday weekend will only make that many thousands more they have to go through to get your issue resolved when they return from the holiday.

Yeah i gave up messaging a couple of days ago, when i started messaging it wasn’t the weekend but they still didnt respond so decided not much point to keep going i live in a different time zone its not a long weekend here i didn’t know it was there till yeaterday 😊

Update. Game loads. All seems fine until I try to move around map. As soon as I drag map the game freezes up. This has happened repeatedly. iPhone 6 with no other apps running in background.

So I’ve unlocked both Tom Tucker and Vinnie, and I even have olivia (didn’t unlock her yet) The problem is, I can’t seem to figure out why District 10 won’t unlock. I had the blimp, but it disappeared! If anyone knows what to do, please help!

well not really but at the same time yes. All my characters are unlocked and I finished the quest for mayor west, but there wasn’t any dialogue after that, because I think Jerome was supposed to say something

Double check your task menu. See what is still lingering there that was missed and compare that to the District 9 and all the Fine Arts questlines.

That is from The Fine Arts… so you need to finish all of those questlines from Fine Arts in order to move on to the next District 10

Did you check the app market? See if you have an update in there? They are relaying back that not being fully up to date is the #1 cause they are seeing. If you are up to date and it is still happening, message them from your game and let them know.

Hi,
Since I unlocked the holodeck, I have been getting an error I don’t see anyone else referencing.
When I try to go to the enterprise, I get the Consuala error “child name action_boss_tool_tip_bg not found.”
It appears over the star field splash screen, and prevents me from ever getting to the enterprise. So all my characters there are bored, doing nothing new since about 4/28.
I’ve done these things:
Force close, update game app (new release came out after problem began, after extension announcement), power-cycle, report through game app ‘contact us’ and start storing some animated deco back in inventory.
I’m on an iPhone 4S (I think?) with IOS 7.0.4.
No expectation of help, but just thought I’d report, since I didn’t see anyone else with similar issue.

Is your game saved to an email or Facebook? If so, wipe it out and start fresh. Could be a corrupted file. Basically just removing all signs of it from your device AND the cloud if your iOS device is saving it there too. Restart your device after its completely deleted. Then once back up, load up a new one from the Apple Market, it will be new so don’t worry. As long as your game is saved, it will then just be a matter of logging back in.
Once the new game loads… you will see the start of the game all over… play it just a lil bit until you get the menu icon back in the lower left corner (about the time Chris holds the antenna). Once you got the menu, on it to go into the menu, then go to account, and from there “Sign in as another user”. Then select the option that your game is saved on (Facebook or Email) and log in. You will then see the option to LOAD your saved game at the Level you were on or LINK the brand new one. MAKE SURE YOU LOAD THE SAVED GAME.
Now… if your game is NOT saved to an email or facebook… you will need to reach out to them for support. Email help@tinyco.com

Receiving “error no material to retry”. After selecting okay, the app restarts and loads to the same message over and over. I have removed the app and reinstalled but this did not fix the problem. This is on an iphone 5 running ios 8.2

I have a glitch where stewie is standing in Quahog shooting his ray gun even though I have my actual stewie character on the enterprise fighting Borg Bertram. I just noticed this tonight. Any idea how to fix it or will it go away eventually or is it connected with the event and will go away after the event ends? Thankyou!

I have a similar glitch(?) where Joe is completing tasks on either the Enterprise or in Quahog, with any skin, but his cop version self is waving around and spinning in the original location where I unlocked him, as if he is waiting to be unlocked. There is no tap response text or anything. It doesn’t seem to be hurting the game play, but it is curious! Just thought I’d pipe in since the glitch seems similar.

Melt Down Moment! Every time I try to transport to the Enterprise my game force closes! I’ve tried EVERYTHING! Tried on my samsung s4 and on my samsung tablet. Cleared RAM, deleted other apps, uninstalled and reinstalled over and over, and eventually restored to factory settings! What can I do??

Did you see the post on many having issues with the iOS update? It may apply to the issue you are seeing. Also, they are not around on weekends and just back in today to full staff, so a response may be a lil delayed.

Bowel Regulus is glitching on me. It shows no rewards under “chance of” on the menu and when I click “select” the game shuts down. The other planets seem fine. I have all areas unlocked but still working on Beverly, Vulcan quagmire and the newer characters/skins.
Also, love the site. Lots of valuable info and hints.

i checked several times yesterday with no success but it seems to have sorted itself out today and everything is fine. I did try something different today. I clicked on the link from the mission menu. “Road to recovery pt 4” and clicked on “send Geordie to bowel regulus”. I don’t know if that fixed it or it just fixed itself.

I have been having trouble with characters. I start the task for the star trek event and wait 3 to 4 minutes before logging out. But the next time I log in after 2/hours only to find out none of the characters started their task. I am also having trouble with the buildings for this event as well. I place a building in the city wait a few minutes and log out. Only to find out later the building was never placed. This has happed to every building for the event. It took 3 to 4 times of this before the buildings would actually stay.
Its frustrating because not only am I being on xp for the event, it has taken twice as long to get stuff for characters and quest. Because I have to restart some of the characters actions.
And yes I have been making sure all character timers have stared the count down before logging out.
I have never had any issues before.

Sounds like you have a connection issue. How is your WiFi signal? How about Memory on your device? Lots of room for the app to store info? Also, try to visit Ollie before leaving to force a sync in game play.

Im having abit of a problem getting the hypospray, it says i can get from clearing petership and clearing borgs but when i clear the borgs it only says its got a chance of getting the green boxes not multiple or hypospray

Did you save your game to an email or Facebook? If so, and you got logged out… log back in and LOAD the saved game. Make sure it is on the CORRECT level you were on and select ONLY that one to load.

Stewie, in his Iron Baby costume, had finished doing his 4-hour task. I tapped on him and the app froze solid. I had to exit out and force close. Restarted the app and it froze again as soon as I tapped Stewie. On an iPad Air 2. App updated today. I had to switch to an Android device to end his task.

Hi I am having a problem with the rooms on the enterprise. I have changed 2 rooms and I read your article that should show the number you own. I do not have this information on my room menu and when I select create for a room I know I have owned, I am charged. How can I fix this to switch out my rooms??

If the room is on the Enterprise, it won’t show in the Rooms menu as owned. Only the ones stored there.

When I got the snake for Olivia I closed the game shortly after. When I logged back in it repeated giving me the snake as if I didn’t finish it. The Star trek update came at the same time. Somehow I can’t get the snake. Its gone, passed that part of the mission and I don’t have it. I can’t get olivia. How can I get this fixed?

I know. Many are. I do it all the time and it goes just fine. Main thing is just play the newly loaded game til you reach the Menu icon unlocking (Chris holding antenna for Peter) then log in and LOAD saved game with the level that you are on.

You may still need to make more room. This game requires a LOT of space. You can also try to restart your device. Or if your game is linked to an Email or Facebook… uninstall and reinstall the app.

I got this awesome glitch, saved a picture of it, and then my phone got destroyed. During the Halloween event, I purchased something and the graphic that appeared was for a Jurassic Park item. it was “Bird Rassic Park” Has this ever been a real building in a past update? My wife and I had never seen it before. I wish I backed up the picture!

The game has some blanc squares covering one of the houses… and when i try to open lois middle age crisis, the game stops with a TV flooting on the screen. I’ve tried to cose lhe game, reboot the computer, and nothing works .

I gave Carter the 25,000 coins ingredient to unlock him and wasn’t credited with completing that task. The coins icon initially had the check mark, but then when I came back later it was not completed. I’m running the game on an LG Volt; Android.

Has anyone else had their tunnel of self-love disappear? It’s still there making money and takes characters, like cupid, but it’s not visible.
Also, I started making a new Valentine area and when I rotate the cafe the windows and sign separate from the building and float in the air.

Just memory drain. They seem to glitch on players devices that are pushing too much going on in the game. Try storing some items not in use. Especially animated ones.
