Comic-Con Has Arrived in Quahog…for iOS

Hello There Clammers!

Looks like the late night updates continue…either that or someone pushed the “red button” a little too early…in either case if you play on iOS head to your App Store and download the latest version of TQFS….

As always more details as I work through the game…and wake myself up (it is nearly 2 am here)..

So…I’ve gone through the update (as have many of you) and at the moment…nothing is new.

It appears as if someone did in fact press the “red button” too early OR this is similar to what happened when they rolled out Full Moon.  It hit Android devices but didn’t trigger until Apple had the download (which, if I remember correctly, was close to a week).

In any event…I’ll keep checking and seeing if I see anything new pop up in the game via iOS…but for now it’s nearly 2:30 am…this is my 3rd game update of the day…I’m going to bed.

Update: Just after 7am on the East Coast of the US the event has officially started for iOS players.  Details will be coming shortly……

UPDATE: 8:45 Am EDT….
Ok i’ve FINALLY been able to go through the game and check things out…rundown is below the fold.

Update: 1:30 PM EDT… I’ve added a lot of info below, including a glitch report from TinyCo about known glitches that they’re working on.  I still have to finish playing through everything myself to get the rest of the details.  This is as updated as it’s going to get for now…right now I’ve gotta actually work, work.  More as I can get some time to go through it…

Extended Tea Party Toy Has Dropped!

Update: Just got word from our friends at TinyCo that the extension will end at 9pm TinyCo Time (PDT)…which is midnight on the East Coast & 0400GMT.

We were hoping (and they were pushing) for a 24 hr extension…BUT with the new update due to drop tomorrow (7/24) they’re up against TIGHT time restrictions.  Hopefully letting you guys know now about the end time will help you get everything you need to unlock your final toys….

Just after 1pm TinyCo Time (PDT) the new toy for the extended portion of the event has dropped…

The new toy to collect is the Robot Trap Jaw. (thank you to the readers who pointed it out to me 🙂 )

All the same rules as before apply with regards to characters that can earn the Robot and the task length.

And we can now confirm….at least in my B game…nothing new has been added to the box.  So it’s the exact same content as before, just 1 extra day for it all.

A Sneak Peek At the Newest Event

Hello There Clammers!

Just after 12pm TinyCo time and still no new toy.  But have patience one WILL be hitting our games this afternoon, and as soon as it does we’ll let you know.  Keep in mind it will be a BRAND NEW Toy…so the Action Figure will change to something else.  Once that change happens, then you’ll see the characters have the actions to earn them again and the toy counter at the bottom will reset.

So now…while we’re all waiting for a new toy (New Toys!!!) let’s take a sneak peek at the NEWEST Event that will be hitting our games starting tomorrow (for iOS players)….

Stewie’s Tea Party Guest for 7/22

Hello There Clammers!

Well here we are (a lil delayed)my friends…the FINAL day of Stewie’s Tea Party.  Who’s ready for it to all be over?

Anywho….a bit after 10pm PDT, the last toy change occurred.  We’ve gone from collecting Dinosaurs to collecting … COBRA!!! Lol (Destro)

Same rules/tasks apply.  Send Peter, Chris, Bruce & Quagmire on 4hr tasks to earn the Action Figure.  They SHOULD drop each time they complete the task.  (If you’re finding this not to be the case, it’s most likely because the same character will earn another item for you.  We’re finding this is the case a lot with Sparkles from Chris & Bruce)

The end time for this toy, and the event, is 10pm PDT tomorrow….so that’s 10pm PDT on 7/22/14, 1am EDT on 7/23/14 & 6am BST on 7/23/14 (0500GMT for our friends that aren’t in those time zones).  Basically 24hrs from when the toy changed.

The Geeks Are Coming!!

So much so, I am got myself a ticket, joined up with some local Geek Podcasters, and am going to be immersing myself in nothing but Geeks. What does that mean? What Happens When I (Finally) Win Rupert?

Hello There Clammers!

So Stewie’s Tea Party is all about collecting STUFF to win prizes.  The top prize of this event?  Human Rupert is the 1 guest at the Tea Party that’s Stewie’s favorite…and is a whole new character for your Quahog!

So while there’s TONS of great stuff (ok semi-great stuff) in the Mystery Box to win, the one prize everyone is after is Rupert!  Some of you are reporting winning him on your 1st or 2nd attempt, others (like me) not till your 6th or 7th.  The good news, and something to keep telling yourself over and over again, is that with every “other” prize you win…you’re one step closer to unlocking Rupert.  (plus you can get some cool premium stuff in the process)
