With the introduction of Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff there’s a whole cast of characters to unlock in your rebuild effort of Quahog! These overview posts are designed to give you a quick breakdown of the characters, how you unlock them & their tasks so you can play FGG more efficiently!
Of course there will be those players who don’t want to know the details of unlocking the characters so for that reason we’ll post all of the details below the fold. So if you don’t like to know what’s going on before you play don’t click read more…CAUTION SPOILERS AHEAD
Now that District 8 is FINALLY unlocked it’s time to take a look at the characters of the Entertainment District. First up is the one, the only…Stewie! Stewie is the first character you’ll unlock in the Entertainment District. It’ll take a bit of hard work collecting all the STUFF you’ll need to unlock him, but in the end he’s completely worth it! So now let’s take a look at Stewie and his tasks….
As you are playing through quest lines, finishing up some tasks, or seeking to get those “rare” items for our characters… you may catch a glance at some of the funny moments that happen in our games. For those of you that are watching and are actually able capture these rather silly and strange things as they happen, we want to see them.
Now comes the fun part, once a week we will be posting these silly images here but want YOU, the readers, to caption them for us. So put on your silly thinking hats, let out that lil comedian inside, and have some fun! (Keep them PG please.)

Hello there Clammers!
We last left off our walkthrough we had unlocked Tricia and Connie (oh those stupid eyeballs!). And something was hinted that Stewie might be at Funland. So now we pick this up right where we left off, with Mid-Life Crisis Lois!
The Entertainment District is where you’ll unlock Stewie and Carter, These two characters have appeared locked in the game since it started & MANY of you have been asking just when they’ll appear. Well now we’ll finally see what they can do!
Once again this District walkthrough is structured by questline (Note:Questline is considered the entire task list that is required under a certain title. For example Freaks & Geeks Pt. 1, Pt 2 etc). This should help you keep track of what comes next in each questline & what you’ll need to do. Keep in mind, with this game various quests/tasks can be running at once. You can be in the middle of 1 questline and another questline will start, however the order in which the questlines appear may be different for each game.
Unlocking characters in the Entertainment District will take a lot of patience, as the list of “Stuff” required to unlock is longer, the quantities of each are greater, and more costumes are required to unlock characters! Take your time, try not to get frustrated when the items don’t appear. Try a different task to unlock the item, or try working on a different item.
So let’s pick our walkthrough back up with Lois, Stewie, Carter & a whole new District to explore!

After a VERY long wait….Stewie (and District 8) have arrived!
District 8 should unlock for you with out a character prompt (just tap on the area) as long as you’ve completed District 7.
Midlife Crisis Lois kicks things off….you’ll be required to Clear the Amusement Park Block which will cost you $12,000 and take 18hrs…

Update 9:20PM ET: Looks like 4th of July has been removed from the game. No signs of District 8 yet. We’ll keep our eyes out and let you know if/when we see anything.

Looks like TinyCo has given us a small indication as to when the event will end (at least if you want to believe an the in game popup)….this appeared in our games yesterday:
So it looks like we’ve got about an hour and a half left to complete any last purchases/item grabs in the event before it all disappears! (4pm PDT, 7pm EST)

The Quest for Stuff (TQFS) is nearly 3 months old already (on the 10th)! And now that the game has been around for a little while, we’ve been through a few events & many of you have established Quahogs it’s time to show us YOUR town!
One of the best things about this game is that it allows for design creativity. No two towns are alike because each Quahog is uniquely created by YOU…and we want to see what you’ve done! Each week we’ll pick a theme/building for you to showoff. All you have to do is upload a screenshot of that area of your Quahog and post a link (via Dropbox, Flickr or any other site you like to use) in the comments below! So what are you waiting for ?
