Update 8/11: Quagmire’s 12hr Drink at the Clam task now can earn you Ice Cream Sundaes. Remember it’s still extra rare in drop rate…but it’s nice to have another character that can earn it 🙂
Also, Ron’s task to earn pesticides has now been split from his task to earn batteries. His 4hr task now will always drop green pesticide, and he has a new 8hr task Shop for Tough Guy Bandanas now has the chance to drop batteries (rare).

New Way to Earn Blam!:
Similar to defeating King Butt, this event now has Defeat Giant Stewie. This time you’re required to collect pesticides to defeat him.
You’ll find Giant Stewie on top of the Convention Center
And you’ll have to collect pesticides of various colors from characters and zapping mutant stewie’s to defeat him. You’ll have 24 hrs to defeat him for each time…ie get the right color and number of pesticides to defeat him. Each time you defeat him before the clock runs out you’ll earn more and more Blam!
When you tap on him you’ll see this screen…showing you what color and number you need:

Fabulous Challenge:
This triggers by Peter once you’re on Part 4 of the Enfant Terrible questline. This week’s challenge is to defeat Giant Stewie 5 times in 3 days.
Don’t worry the clock won’t start until you get to part 4 of the main questline. Correction this is starting at part 2, part 3 and part 4 for some people. So assume it’ll kick in once you learn how to defeat stewie and have peter get pesticides. Basically don’t complete part 1 if you want to stall it.
So build up those pesticides…so you can defeat him quickly!

Grrrrrrrrrr. Guess I found this game a bit too late. I’ve got Mutant Stewies on some buildings, managed to keep Patrick Stewart, Ron Perlman’s hanging from a flagpole and SuperPeter is flying around…
However, I’ve searched multiple times clicking on everything I can find and still no Bryan Cranston. WTF? I could use a blaster on Mutant Stewies, but I’ve never seen any pesticides or Sundaes. I’ve also come too late to earn enough clams to buy Nathan Fillion—the only reason I got the game. I’m on level 9, but am I just too new in the game to see some of this stuff?

Each section of items is dropped in Phases. In order to get items from a specific Phase, you must complete the one prior. So depending where you are on your quests will depend on what you can see to buy. Where are you quest wise? Enfant Terrible? Quahog Comic Con?

I’ve not seen Enfant Terrible as a quest. I’ve got Q ComicCon going on with Peter, Chris, Quagmire, Bonnie, Bruce, Jerome, Mort, Patrick Stewart, Ron Perlman is stuck on the flagpole and Stewies just showed up a few hours ago. I’m working on Lois’s final request (lipstick) and getting costumes for Peter & Quagmire and batteries. I don’t have the school zone, asiantown, or the wharf unlocked yet.
From reading some of the comments I thought those pesticides came before the zapper and batteries and that Bryan Cranston is always there.
Here’s the crazy thing… how did I get hooked on this game? I don’t watch this show (don’t even really like it—sacrilege, I know), I live in San Diego and go to the real Comic Con (for free in recent years) and have met so many celebs in person I don’t really need to send the animated ones through town on junk hunts. What is happening to me?

You need to be into Phase 5 of the event and have started Demon Child quest. As you are progressing through…you will also get the pop up to build the multiplier ans be able to start collecting items for him.

Stuck on enfant terrible prt 2. Giant stewie won’t appear. Says I have completed the part of getting pesticides with cap hammered but when I click the attack giant stewie part nothing happens. He hasn’t appeared in game yet. Any help welcomed. Have already tried removing game and reinstalling on 2 different phones. Thanks again

So you are still in Phase 1 it seems, close to Phase 2.
You need to complete each Phase in order for the next one to start.
Here is the link to our event page. Keep an eye on the Walkthroughs to see where YOU are at and what comes next. You are essentially still at the beginning. So you need to complete all that quest before the next one will open and unlock more characters for you.

He wasn’t released into the game til Phase 3. Much like Fillion was just released with 5. You just have to get to those phases to access all the goodies provided with them. 😉

I have this question about the giant stewie. I thought it would disappear when I’d hit the 25x on the streak meter, but the giant stewie keeps coming back every time. Does anyone know when the giant stewie vanishes? Because the problem is that the number of pesticides gets so high that I can’t get to have enough pesticides in time and have to start all over. Annoying it is..

You have to let him “time out”. Stop Vanquishing him after you hit a point you do not want to go any further on. Once you let the 24 hour timer run out, it will go back to 1X and you can start again.

I’m getting a glitch with the jazz records, for some reason I can’t get them from anything else apart from Quagmire or the jazz shop. At least i think it’s a glitch… Any help on this? I contacted TinyCo support a few days ago but no reply…

I am not sure. So far in the past, the majority of items linked to the event go when the event is over. In my game it is in the “Event” section so I assume it is linked to it and will go with it.

I am having an issue with drops from Quagmire records. I got 7 at a normal rate. And ever since I can’t get another to drop. I grind that quest everyday all day for over a week now. Is there a problem?

Very common issue..a lot of people had issues with getting records to drop from Quagmire. It’s just a random drop…unfortunately.

Since Stewie will mutate on Friday most likely, will the pesticides be worthless then? I would like to save until near the end of the event, then get a bunch of 25x streaks in a row to send my blam soaring.

Why must we build buildings (granted I want them anyway but besides the point) if the characters don’t do tasks there? Quagmire needs the Furry Funhouse, but “chases tail” in the Griffin’s house.
Felicia has us build an Internet cafe but “posts her video blog” at the Griffin’s house.
I understand some of the things that people may not have certain buildings etc so make the main 3 houses where ya go, but if ya have to have the building to do the task..????
Just seems like a waste of a building if their tasks don’t actually utilise the place it refers to.
Conversely I LOVE that Felicia actually goes into and hacks away in the LARPing forest. I just wish there was more of that stuff (not necessarily animations because I know it will be such a processor hog and battery drain [more than it already is]).

I have a question….I zapped the big stewie and received the car! Yippie! But now peter 2 hr mission is gone to drop more pesticides…is this normal? If it is their making it harder to get pesticides……..

No it shouldn’t be gone. He should have 2, 2 hr tasks that drop pesticides. It’s under Captain Hammered though.

For the 30 seconds after you defeat giant Stewie, until he comes back, all pesiticeds earning tasks disappear. This includes tasks you’ve already started (so don’t collect!) as well as zapping latcher Stewies (which you might want to take advantage of if you have multiple items you need from him but pesticides keep getting in the way). When Giant Stewie re-appears, Peter’s tasks will earn pesticides again.

Said this before but… Latcher Stewies still drop Sundaes, however when you do not have any Latcher Stewies in your Quahog the task disappears from Al Harrington’s.

at least the free clams take some of the sting out of the fact I’m gonna hafta use clams to unlock Blobulos, in order to free Peter up to work on Stan Lee and The Multiplier. Some of the sting, but not all of it.
This one item with its wonky drop rate is the only blemish on an otherwise spectacular event.

I have a little problem, I went to use 10,000 Blam on the way to unlock Felecia Day, but for some reason it cleaned me out and took 20,000!
How can I get my other 10,000 Blam back?

SO not cool that you have to have been playing for a long time already or spend real money for Bryan Cranston. This team made a fantastic game and certainly deserve the cash but truthfully, if I had a job and could afford stuff in the game, I probably wouldn’t have time to play it 😛

So maybe a dumb question, but i sent an in game message to tinyco, about the hams. Where will the reply come to? Will it go to my email, or Facebook or will show up in the same place I sent it from. If they even reply. Sorry it was the first one I’ve sent them.

The message you sent is actually a text thread (just like texting a friend). Their reply will appear right below yours in the same “contact us” area. You usually get a push notification (but not all the time). Just keep checking it daily, it will display a #1 where it normally says “contact us” when a new message is waiting to be read. 🙂

On iOS I don’t always get a push notification on the lock screen, but when there is a message, when you start your game fresh and the game logs in and the connecting to Game Center pops up.
Keep looking and iif there is a reply, I always see a quick pop up message at the top of the screen with Peters icon, it’s usually to fast to read it, but it means there was a reply, so if you go to where you sent your message, there should be a reply.
If not just check even day, or whenever you feel like it in case there is another bug stopping pop up messages.

In my game it’s the orange ones that drop more than the other 2 colors. The Ice Cream Sundaes are ridiculously hard to come by. Why does it have to be Peter collecting them? He has other stuff to do and Jerome, Chris and Mort are useless right now. (Not to mention all the characters that came after them or the premium ones)

For me…I adore him so I had to have him. In the scheme of things, for a character to pay out the main item you need over and over to defeat Giant Stewie for the duration of the event…AND it is only 2 hours to get 1 of each…I went for him.
Just weigh what YOU feel you want to invest in the game. What makes YOU happy to have. 😉

I bit the bullet and got him. I’m justifying it by telling myself he’s helping me get George Takei. The 3+ pesticides he drops are super helpful. As long as giant Stewie is here to stay, I stand a decent chance of getting 100,000 blam.
Plus, it’s Bryan Cranston and he’s damn awesome.
Helps that walmart has a sale on iTunes cards this week. I’m officially on the dark side, TinyCo! You won me over.

I lost a decent amount of clams when the game was glitching, several hundred from a purchase, and have contacted tinyco multiple times to no avail. Is there anything else I can do?

Contacting them is the best bet, they will get back to you. It’s the weekend and at the moment I know they’re really focused on the glitch that locked everyone out. They will get back to you about the missing clams from the glitch though. If they don’t get back to you in 10 days try contact them again. 🙂

Unrelated but ever since I spent 20clams on the last movie reel to unlock ron pearlman I keep getting an error window I have to close dozens of times in order to play the game. Any ideas?

Is anyone else having an issue where if mutant stewie takes over a building with a character who finished an action inside, it doesn’t zap the building and just freezes on the zapper screen?
I’ve tried contacting tiny co to no avail. Has anyone found an easy fix for this building?

I had the same thing happen to me and its always the day spa. I simply had to wait out 8 hours for him to move to another building and it hasnt done it for a couple days. I can tell always tell when its gonna do it though because the building will be dark but latcher stewie wasnt there and there would be a check mark instead like a character task was finished so I think stewie being latched to a building when a character is done with the task inside sets it off.

That is strange. He should still be in your event menu for purchase. Try Force Closing and/or restart your game and see if it helps.

WTF!!! I’ve already completed getting the 10 required Hams for Blobulous yesterday! and now Giant Stewie just dropped another Ham! what am I suppose to do with 11 hams when I only need 10, and not a single ice cream had dropped for me yet.

Oh, and Latcher Stewie’s pesticide droprate is too high, in my opinion. Plus, you can’t see a full applicable drop list from bombing him, as well as the Latchers themselves. They do not share the ‘cardboard box’ feature that tasks have.

Lol… “I know a guy who knows a guy”. You crack me up. The stats…we intentionally never post. There is no reason for them. Our readers are more than just a number to us. Always have been, always will be. Regardless of we see 100 a day or millions a day. It makes no difference to us.
We are not a big corporation so “ad money” is…well…just a silly thing. I will leave that to those that sale commercials for the Superbowl, where it makes a difference.
We do what we do for the pure joy of it. We do not mind (and have many times) opened our personal wallets/bank accounts to fund our site, contests, giveaways, etc. When this is no longer fun for us or it has lost its joy…then we will walk away.

Yes, many players have commented that it disappeared with the new update. I don’t think it’ll impact anything, just a texture glitch.

The Multiplier’s costume isn’t available yet right? Asking because I have Chris’s costume unlocked, but it’s still appearing in the menu as unobtained like Quagmire’s.

Nope Multiplier is not in the game yet. Odd that it’s showing still locked though…interesting texture glitches we’re seeing with that update crash last night

Need some expert advice. I have 300 clams and decided it’s time to get a premium character(s). Do I get Consuela, Buzz & Jake, or the horse and Jake? Which would be more helpful with game progress and which are more fun? Thanks in advance for any input anyone has. Love this site.

Sadly…And this is mine and pretty much every Premium Character owner’s complaint….They do nothing to help out. Only a few times in the past did some help. Now, nothing, but double coins. No Blam, no items. So, it comes down to which of the four, you really like and which buildings do you like. I love Consuela….then the horse, Buzz and finally Jake. But I like the church more than the Stables. It really is a personal decision. 🙂

Where is the AskJeeves building? Red Hot has a task that requires it, but it isn’t in the store to add to my Quahog. What gives? Does everyone else but me have this building? I remember it. For like a day in the store then it vanished, and never returned. I figured it was a “too soon” item and would come back in a later time, but still not in the store. Help?

It had a glitch that was effecting several players games, so they pulled it. Hopefully it will return soon.

Latcher Stewies still drop Sundaes, however when you do not have any Latcher Stewies in your Quahog the task disappears from Al Harrington’s.

It keeps saying that I have to update but when I go into the play store there is no update available and now I can’t play. Please help!!!

They pulled the latest update from the store due to glitches. It should be re-uploaded soon. Have you tried to uninstall/reinstall yet? (but only if your game is linked to an email or Facebook account).

Stan is listed with Ron and Felicia in Facespace, and was shown with them in the pic explaining rescuing the celebs. Doesn’t track that he would be grouped with the questable celebs and not with the the other pay-for celebs, so my guess is that is Stan flagpole right next to Ron’s…

I don’t think we’re going to have to pay for Stan Lee, but I think we will have to pay Nathan Fillion. It’s just a guess, but I’m going by the Facespace collection pay out 25 Clams for the first group vs 100 for the second. Well, that and the fact that Stan’s been in all the promo stuff for the Mutant Stewie arc.

Stan Lee will be the third flagpole. It’s Nathan Fillion that will be premium. There’s a pretty clear pattern if you look at it.

Omg too much 🙈 Any tips on what I should concentrate on& what I should work on 1st. Chris unlimited time costume?-is it known how long this is for? Felicity Day? Or pesticides for Giant Stewie? Peter is needed in all of them. While everyone else is useless. I wasted my time unlocking Cleveland because he is useless. Joe+Meg do nothing! I’m also currently in the process of unlocking Brian-please tell me he contributes?! I honestly don’t know what I should concentrate on the most? I have started obviously but still a bit lost!

Brian is useless too….focus on pesticides for Giant Stewie so you can win “Blaze”. All the limited stuff will be around to unlock until the end of the event. So you have plenty of time for those. Just keep sending everyone who can earn “something” out on those tasks. The rest I put on 24 hour tasks to get them out of the way. The Giant Stewie is the best way to make Blams each day and almost everything needs them. Hang in there, it gets less confusing as you play. 😉

Doesn’t Brian have the “I’m a Writer” Questline with Patrick Stewart? I didn’t get it because I also haven’t unlocked Brian yet. I’m wondering if Ron and Felicia also have quests involving characters later than Sheamus, since Ron’s storyline just kinda stopped abruptly.

Yes that’s true, I meant as far as contributing Blam (although Chris can walk him for an hour for more Blam than Chris’ normal 1 hour solo task) and dropping any helpful items or pesticides. 😉
