Update 8/11: Quagmire’s 12hr Drink at the Clam task now can earn you Ice Cream Sundaes. Remember it’s still extra rare in drop rate…but it’s nice to have another character that can earn it 🙂
Also, Ron’s task to earn pesticides has now been split from his task to earn batteries. His 4hr task now will always drop green pesticide, and he has a new 8hr task Shop for Tough Guy Bandanas now has the chance to drop batteries (rare).

New Way to Earn Blam!:
Similar to defeating King Butt, this event now has Defeat Giant Stewie. This time you’re required to collect pesticides to defeat him.
You’ll find Giant Stewie on top of the Convention Center
And you’ll have to collect pesticides of various colors from characters and zapping mutant stewie’s to defeat him. You’ll have 24 hrs to defeat him for each time…ie get the right color and number of pesticides to defeat him. Each time you defeat him before the clock runs out you’ll earn more and more Blam!
When you tap on him you’ll see this screen…showing you what color and number you need:
We’ll have a full break down of Giant Stewie soon, but that’s the basic breakdown.

Fabulous Challenge:
This triggers by Peter once you’re on Part 4 of the Enfant Terrible questline. This week’s challenge is to defeat Giant Stewie 5 times in 3 days.
Don’t worry the clock won’t start until you get to part 4 of the main questline. Correction this is starting at part 2, part 3 and part 4 for some people. So assume it’ll kick in once you learn how to defeat stewie and have peter get pesticides. Basically don’t complete part 1 if you want to stall it.
So build up those pesticides…so you can defeat him quickly!

Darn this new update ruined my free clam spree I was able to get all the prizes in the robo Brian box plus 60 batteries,boosted my blam from 15000 to 55000 and enough clams to buy all the premium characters including Walter white with 34 clams remaining all for 5 dollars 🙂 lol altough I am still a lil bitter only because I wanted more premium items i shoulda never updated the app!! it was letting me play just fine with it ohh well looks like greed got the better of me 🙂 haha

Hold the home and sleep botton on your iOS device while the Brian box is opening do not claim prize if you don’t like what you got it will reset and your clams will remain at the same number however I recommend that you don’t update app to the current version that came out today I’m afraid they might have fixed the glitch with this new update because it didn’t work for me anymore after I updated then an hour later I can’t even log on anymore it keeps crashing yes I already did the un\reinstall and sent the email just now so I’m waiting on them hopefully they don’t take to long seems like other people have been having this issue also so I’ll be patient 🙂

Hi guys, everytime I try vanquishing Giant Stewie the game just goes to cutscene and nothing happens. animations work and sounds still play but literally nothing can be done.

I had that happen the first go round. A quick Force close of the app and restart of the device cleared it up. Let us know if that helps. 😉

Hmmm…may want to take a few SS of the issue. Then…as long as you are linked to an email or FB…try an unsitall/resinstall the app. See if that will help it along. Outside that, TinyCo would be the next step.

I’m so frustrated that I stepped out of my confort zone and purchased 4.99 clams, they took my money, Peter popped up saying “here’s your stuff” and then I went back to the game, and no clams were added. I send tinyCo a message and they told me to hard close and restart. I did with no results, it’s several hours later and another message sent with no results and I haven’t heard back from tinyCo. Will they even fix this?

Give them time. Remember there are thousands of other players messaging them. Sometimes it may take a day or 3 to get back to you. Especially on weekends when there is lil to no staff. Hang in there. 😉

Hmm, I noticed a new decoration for sale. Another car for only 250 blam! Bought it straight away. It doesn’t have a name and has disappeared from the store. I’ve got it in my town though. It’s nothing too special. Red and black with yellow fins and a cross on the hood. Any idea what this is about? I’m assuming it’s something that has appeared a bit early. Anyone else seen it?

I have been told it is a glitch and was released too soon and will be removed. Whether or not it is NOW supposed to be in this update, I am looking into. 😉

It says on this post that zapping latcher stewie can get you an ice cream sundae for blobulus. However, the game doesnt say that but the only ones that give them out are, overeat with peter and the nifty fifties diner. Can you clarify please? 🙂

Yes, zapper can give them too you. There are SEVERAL materials it can give. Only room for 3 on the image area. Just a matter of chance. 😉

I seen at least one person state that they had the same problem as I have, so here it is. I spent the $20 to get the blam and clam special today and then all of the blam that I just got disappeared. I’ve contacted TinyCo, but I really don’t think they have a customer service since I had a problem with getting Rupert last go around and I finally got a an email 2 days ago saying that since that was pre-ComicCon trouble, they have decided to ignore the problem I had and closed the case.

I am sorry your responses were not up to par. I do now that they work hard resolving issues. Just like anyone else, the weekends are light staffed so mainly M-F. I also do know with them and ANY other gaming company, no matter is simple and takes time to resolve. Most…24-72 hours. So give them a week on this one and see what happens. Let us know how it goes. 😉

i finally gave in and bought 600 clams (besides the original offer when the game first came out ( I got the minmum required back then for the deal). I am so happy I bought bryan Cranston. he is a big help with the pestisides. Tiny co deserved my $20. what an awesome game !!!!
as for stewie, I find his quest line a bit lame. I have been waiting so long to unlock him (the freemium way) and I am a tiny bit disappointed with his questline.

Did you stumble into a neighbor that has not updated and still on that event? That is usually the trigger. Try Hard/Force close and reset to restore to this event.

My Blam! total is not one to base others off of. I am using clams to speed through tasks as we had to test several glitches players were/are having. Due to that my Blam! total is not the standard of a regular player anymore. Defeating Giant Stewie skyrocketed the count. Lol 😉

Went back a couple hundred comments and didn’t see my questions, so I apologize if they’ve been asked, but:
1. How is Bryan Cranston working availability-wise? Is he ONLY going to be available over this event? It doesn’t say exclusive… Can we build up clams later to get him?
2. Is he ONLY going to be available through clams, or will there be a freemium method later on? Any word on that?
3. Similarly, how long is Giant Stewie going to be fight-able? There’s still a full month left – does that mean we can store up a full month of pesticides before cashing in on MANY 2500 prizes?

Help! I am definitely behind on the comic con quests (still working on unlocking peters costume and Patrick Stewart) but when I updated the game I don’t have Bryan Cranston, the weekend clams offer, or anything else new. I have tried contacting tinyco twice but have yet to get a response. I have deleted and reinstalled the game to no avail. Is there anything else that I can do?

So you have it a good portion along. OMG !!!! I cannot believe I just did this. I went out, bought a $25 iTunes card and just bought Bryan Cranston for 500 clams. I looked at it this way. Tiny Co has created such a good game that I have been enjoying for many months already and they have been keeping me entertained day in and day out. the least I could do was pay a little into the game. I bought $19..99 of clams and got the 4000 blam.

Bought Bryan, and used a bunch of clams to help speed through to get the car. I don’t regret that, because I didn’t like the way the King Butt event went like this either (I feel like I don’t have enough time ever due to work and kids and such), but I do regret how much closer it’s pushed me to G.T. Oh well, back to working on Felicia and Blobulous

I can take only having like 6 characters plus the celebrities earn Blam! But some of the other characters should be able to at least help earn items to unlock the celebrities and outfits. I have 28 characters including 3 celebrities and only like 9 are actually worth having during the event. Peter is the only character who can even earn 2 of the items needed for Felicia Day and Blobulous while Quagmire and Jerome, who both earn Blam! Can’t earn any items

This has just annoyed me too. Why can’t more characters DO anything. They’re all just collecting pointless money. I appreciate that new players should join in but some bonus for having played from the start would be nice. Its w like Jerome and bruce or even Herbert were hard to unlock. Get the unique buildings involved for items where it makes sense too

I am so overwhelmed right now and trying to figure out what to concentrate on is hurting my brain! I still need 3 more puppies and 2 films for Ron. Bruce hasn’t dropped any puppies the last 3 times I’ve sent him on his task. And when I hit the wrong button and send him to the kitten task instead, he didn’t even give me a blueprint after tying up a character all day. Grrr. Herbert again hasn’t dropped anything the last 2 times I sent him to work. 4 more plans to go and Stewie is mine! I want to get those stupid wizards out of here! They are annoying me! I keep clicking on them when trying to zap the nerds.
So my current plan is to collect pesticides non stop with Peter and Patrick so I can get the car. Send Chris on an endless loop for cake for his costume. Bonnie is moving into the bar doing her ladies’ night task for Felicia. Keep sending Herbert daily for blueprints daily and hope for the best. Bruce will just make gin for puppies until I get enough and then he’ll go on a CPR loop.
And why are so many tasks that drop stuff assigned to Peter?
I never thought I would have to put this much mental effort into a game!

Focus on JUST the event going on. Put all the District Characters on hold if you were working on them. Nerds help drop items needed to unlock characters, same with Battling Giant Stewie and Zapping Latcher Stewie.

His task is super short. Only 2 hours. So it really helps to earn them quick. At LEAST 1 of each color drops every single time. (I have had 4 drop many times.)

Has anyone heard if they are going to fix the Fabulous 4 building placement glitch? They fixed the car problem but not the building placement. The Gyro truck and XL-K are the same as the Fab 4 building. 2 letters to TinyCo and still no response

So did anyone else just have the giant Stewie clock reset early? I was saving all my pesticides to get the multiplier and defeated him twice with 3 hours left on the clock. Before I could defeat him again the clock reset. I still had pesticides left!

This happened to me. My clock reset, but my blam multiplier meter didn’t. I had six hours left and defeated him twice in a row, each defeat reset the clock to 24, but left the multiplier meter alone.

Can someone help me with Giant Stewie? I just have the clock counting down over his head, but when I touch him, nothing happens. I’ve collected at least three pesticide cans but I don’t see indication of where they are being stored. Is my app on the fritz or am I missing something simple?

Tap on the building under him (Convention Center) instead. See if that opens the pop up for Vanquishing. Let us know.

So it looks like peter griffin can get the sprays, but i also need him to get the purple 8 sided dice.
So should i concentrate more on peter getting the 8 sided dice, or to use peter to get the sprays? Opinions?
I also have Sir Lancewart’s board games, will that be all i need to get the 8 sided dice?

I skipped doing the King Butt because nothing I wanted besides Cleveland, so that was all I got from that event. My question is, if I let the streak run out and reset back to 1x, will it get easier? The first time I did giant stewie, it only wanted 1 spray. then 3, now it wants 7. If so, I might just grab the first 2, and then let it reset for now, and then get the car before the 3 days, and then I can save up on spray and get a bigger multiplier going.

ok i have a random question and i apologize for giving up and not reading ALL 750+ comments to see if it has been asked already…. but here goes. So I know that I will gladly get the clams I need to get me a Bryan Cranston.. but here’s what I wondered… my sidebar right now is offering 4000 free Blam! with 9.99 worth of clams purchase… originally i was just going to go for the $20 600 variety and just have extra… but if i do $10 twice and end up with only 550 will that entitle me to two “purchases” and thereby 8000 free blam? or are those offers a one-time sort of thing? if so, it definately seems worth taking the 50 clam hit to rack up an extra 4k blam. I have never done it before when it was offered during the last event. Hope i am making sense with what I’m asking! It especially seems enticing to pick up Walter White since I’m reading he can make pesticides! Plus I love me a pun and they’re tossing in Baking Bad had me laughing almost as much as the earlier Make it Sew!

This has probably been asked in the 700 plus comments and I know a guide is coming but I’m excited and impatient at all the new stuff so apologies but is giant around for the entire event and similar to king butt is it best to hold of and build up the pesticides before beating him for the first time.

Got a little tip for you all the smaller stewies on the buildings drop lots of different items but at the moment he seems to be dropping pesticide. As I want the better items I found when you defeat big stewie and he dissapears for 1 minute the prize for pesticides on all other tasks dissapear for that minute. In that minute I then zap the stewies and get a better prize from him. After the minute is up the pesticide returns. Only found out when I hit him and when I went to collect my PS red pesticide he didn’t drop meas it goes from the task until big stewie comes back. Hope this makes sense and helps fellows addicts. PS I caved and bought Bryan Cranston. He rocks. I just hope he gets a trailer like the other celebs.

This was like super overload last night! However I did this,
1. Bought Brian Cranston and completed tasks
2. Bought Felicia Day (straight unlock) and completed tasks
3. Killed Giant Stewie 6 or 7 times to finish quest line
4. Completed timed challenge to unlock car
5. Bought Blobulous costume and completed both tasks.
6. I hit 100000 blam so unlocked George Takei and finished 2 tasks.
And that too 45 minutes. I should have let it last a while but wondered how fast I could do it. Wont be doing it on phase 4.
I hope the batteries can be used alternatively soon ive got 120 left lol.

It depends on how much Blam! he already had. I’m guessing around 2,000 clams.

I had 90000 blam when I started the day, up to 135000 right now.
Just had blobulous pt3 quest show up for me so that killed a few minutes lol.

When does the 2nd car thing end (if you haven’t started the quest yet)? Is it better to start the 3day quest now and get the car, then start saving up all the pesticide for a while? Orshould I wait with starting the 3day car quest?

It depends on if you are getting pesticides. It won’t start till you hit that point in the Giant Stewie questline.
