Hopping on by with some updates on several items hitting players around the game. So sit tight while we go through each of them. 
So here are some things going on in the game and the information we have on them to date….

WHERE ARE THE ITEMS I WAS MISSING FROM CLOSED GIFT BOXES?
Please double check all over your Inventory. Many reports are coming back with the items actually IN the Player’s inventory and they just did not realize it. If you still feel you have looked and compared with our Gift Box Items Lists here and the item is still missing, then please contact TinyCo.
I CAN’T GET INTO THE GAME, HELP!
Reports of Players not able to get into the game after the updates hit. There are a few different issues going on here. If you are linked to a Facebook/Email account, try the standard uninstall/reinstall and log back into that saved account. Outside that, there are other causes they are currently looking into so you may want to reach out to them.
MY DEVICE ISN’T COMPATIBLE???!! WHERE DID THE APP GO??!
Reports of the “device not compatible” with the game anymore and/or the App completely going missing from the App Markets. Hang in there. There is actually ANOTHER version of Android Update coming out to help with those other devices to allow players to still be able to play the game. We will try to announce when it hits. This same issue may cause some players to not even see the App anymore in your market until your compatible version is available. So Patience. I know that part is tough, but they are trying to get as many devices as possible to work with the game.
I CAN’T LAUNCH FURBALS, HELP!!
There was a patch sent out to resolve this, so if you are still experiencing the issue please ensure you do have the latest App Market Update for the game. If your account is linked to an Email or Facebook, you can even try an uninstall/reinstall to make sure you don’t have the corrupted version any longer.
WHY AM I NOT GETTING VERY MUCH WRAPPING PAPER DROPS?
Wrapping Paper is a mixed dropped along with Christmas Cookies and Clams. So you will NOT get one every time you bomb the Procrastinators. It is a chance. For myself, the more I bombed in one shot (BOTH of them) the more Wrapping Paper Stockings dropped. Also, with the newer version Update you can tap on them to stop them from moving. Making it easier to get a group together to bomb.
SANTA’S WISH LIST ITEMS DIDN’T START TASKS, WHY?
Some of the tasks do not show up right away, but they will come. Stewie’s and Seamus’ task are currently being worked on.

I finished the wishlist and unlocked santa, then i immediately unlocked bruce which launched this weeks challenge to earn santa, but the rabbid reindeer is still telling me i need to earn santa. He is now gone from his spot in front of the yeti along with his sleigh but i cant find him in the game and cannot progress in the challenge. I emailed them but still no response.

I just unlocked the Pirate Cove, and when I talk to Peter, he talks about the Pirate Cove but it won’t unlock the quest. I’m on my laptop and I already tried restarting my laptop. PLEASE HELP.

Get to what? I’m saying this cause i already unlocked Seamus and the Pirate Cove, but, he keeps on talking about “wanting to be friends with a bird” Another thing is I’m doing the Goth Chris mission and it says he needs to “rock out” but when I click it, it says I need Kool-Aid Man. Another Another thing is, is the Endless Summer quest over. I’m saying this because I can’t find the boombox anywhere.

Did you look at the walkthroughs? As far as completing questlines…the info is there. How to progress through each District. It tells you what steps you need to do next. As for individual quests themselves, there will be “limited time/item/buildings” ones for some characters as they only work with “limited time/items/buildings”, so if you don’t have those items…you can’t do those tasks.
As you poke around our site, a lot of info is broken into categories on our menus. If you can’t find what you need specifically…there is also a really cool search feature in the menus that works with google, but uses only our site content. So makes finding info fast.

You should be able to get everything that is being offered on that version (I personally do not play it as it was just released for Windows). I do not know if the events are limited or not. I would assume you have access to pretty much all the mobile app has minus the account option

I just finished all the Santa’s wish list and got tons of cookies and it showed I earned the santa but he is not available and facespace still shows the shadow not him. anyone?

im on an android phone. ive bought multiple copies of decos particularly the cho cho train/ the snowglobe and a few other items but when i look in my inventory it only shows one of each item being listed when i know i bought 2 or 3 of each

Not yet…and i’m not happy about it myself. The game won’t work on my Tablet (which is where I primarily play so it will save everything for me screenshot wise..) but it works on my phone. Both Samsung. Super annoyed.

Still locked out since Monday! Was 2/3 the way to Jesus. I’m beginning to think maybe my maze screwed up my game? I didn’t have anything in storage though…

I can play on my Samsung phone, but can’t visit neighbors or tap the last day shoppers. I hope they give people a few extra days to get jesus or at least some compensation for this.

Hey bunny I was wondering how long it takes tinyco to get back to someone on game issues, my account has locked me out. I haven’t been able to play for almost 24hrs now. Everytime I try to play it crashes on the loading screen. I know it’s just my account because when I troubleshoot and uninstall and reinstall the basic game works fine but when I log in through fb or email it will crash on the loading screen. And I’ve tried logging in on 4 different devices. I’ve sent them an email and it says the will get back to me In a short while they just need my username player id or device id and when I send that back to them they never got back to me. I’ve sent 2 emails the second contained both username and device id but they sent me an email still asking for those. I’m so close to Jesus and babs and I don’t want to miss out on them or the free 25 clams today. I’m sorry this is a lot but I figured the more detail the better. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas. Thanks for all your hard work and what you do for us clammers.

TinyCo was closed for Christmas. Which is what caused the delayed responses. However, they’re back up today so try contacting them again…

They are not contacting me back. The game works only if I do not log into my main account. If I make a new one it works however it shuts down on the loading screen of my main account. I am completely freaking out. I think my file is gone in lag land. Idk what else to do since they keep sending me this stupid automated message or telling me the email can’t be sent because of a domain error on their end (via aol) I’m sorry on bugging you with the issue but I don’t know who else to turn to.

They were closed for the holiday…they’re open today. Try messaging them again..but remember there will be a big backlog because they were closed. So be patient. I know it sucks…but you’ve got to be patient

Further to this the prize for beating top hat seems to have dissapeared too? However I would like to say this is my first issue i’ve encountered and generally enjoying all the good work from both yourselves and tiny co! Ps thanks for the free clams tiny co! Keep up je good work (and awesome guest characters) and you’ll keep getting money off me for them! Makes me wonder who will next pop up after Kiss?! Maybe the greased up deaf guy or big fat phony guy?! Hahaha

I am still not able to launch furbals, and i have about 50 accumulated! The patch that you talk about, was it an automatic update? I have looked in app store and reinstalled game, but still no luck.

Merry Xmas all from good Old England here! Anyone come across this yet? I just opened my game and it randomly popped up saying I have Santas reindeer (also now ticked off in the wish list) yet I checked the inventory as that’s my guess where it would go into like the rest and nothing is there? Am I too early or missing something here?

Hey all, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Koolio Kwanzaa, Happy New Year!
I’ve had a look through the comments but can’t see a resolve for an issue I’m having: Consuela tells me I need to upgrade to go to my neighbours towns. I have deleted (until this is resolved) the Facebook friend who had been having issues, I’ve logged out of FB, closed all apps and restarted the tab 3, logging back into FB. But no luck.
I would like to try deleting the FGQFS app and then reinstalling but am afraid I might get more problems, like all the folks above, especially not being able to play.
I’ve notified TinyCo but no response yet, and it is the holidays, and it’s only a game at the end of the day, so it’s not a humanitarian crisis. But if anyone has a suggestion or can increase my confidence in unninstalling/reinstalling I would be grateful.

Ok so I kinda found a work around.
I opened the game, got to my town, swiped down and disconnected the wifi then quickly clicked the secret santa/neighbours towns button and it took me to Olly’s town. Before I responded to the errors I turned the wifi back on and then clicked ‘try again.’ I could then go to my neighbours towns.
Turns out the next 3 friends gave me the Consuela error so no wonder I couldn’t get in!

I haven’t been able to visit friends towns. I get a pop up that says I need an update in order to see their town. And when I goto the Play Store on my Android. The FG:Q4S app isn’t there anymore. Anyone else having this problem?

I really do hope that the tasks carry over past the event. We spend so much time on the challenges that we never have time to go through the quest lines. I am not holding my breath though, going off of past events. I think it’s pretty sad, because it seems that a lot of these quest lines were really well though out.
Overall, I have enjoyed the pacing of this event, and there haven’t been any obvious money grabs. Well thought out and planned. The crashes and glitches still suck of course, but you can deal with them. I just really really wish they give us some time where we can focus just on the tasks. It never made sense to me to have such long tasks on a timed event, especially on characters that are needed to complete challenges.

Finally I can play fg on my android phone. Really suck not being able to play on my phone especially when I’m awaiting around on the bench at the mall with the kids and nothing to do. Well I play other game but I want my fg. Can’t believe this is something that happens soooo offen. For a known game company this should not be happening on a regular basis. I love tinyco but having ur game shut out even when u own the newest device makes me so mad I could just…..just….Nothing I can do really.

This is the answer from the TinyCo support team about the “device not compatible”:
“The latest update, 1.5.5, ran into a bug making it incompatible with a small number of Android devices.”
I think this is funny….. a small number of android devices…..
It seems to happen to most Samsung users….and the market share is around 43%….. well…. if THIS is a small number………

Help! Since yesterday morning I’ve been unable to get into the game on my ipad2 and on my GS3. I just have Conseula popping up and ‘Cannot Connect to Server’. I can’t notify tinyco using the game because I can’t get in. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Or is it just me? It was impossible enough to get Jesus by defeating the yeti but now that I’ve been locked out for a day I see no hope whatsoever unless eh extend the event, which I think they should.

It’s a christmas miracle! Since the update i can finally play this event. (I wasn’t able to play the game since the event started) Obviously i won’t be able to get everything since i only have a week to play it but still i can try to get as much as possible 🙂 merry christmas everyone!

Got a response fron TinyCo about the device incompatible issue. Apparently there is a bug in version 1.5.5 that made it incompatible with a small number of devices. They are working to fix this as soon as they can. The main point is that those stuck on the previous version will still be able to get all the Christmas event content.
To be fairbto TinyCo, it isn’t affecting me too much at the moment…….probably the biggest issue is that I have been having an issue with crashing and have carried out the usual troubleshooting steps, but can’t do a reinstall because my device is not compatible with the only version available in the store 😀
Other than that, the ability to tap and freeze the shoppers is not available until I upgrade, so I am only managing to bomb two, three or four shoppers at a time instead of two or three times that amount. So its taking me longer to get the stockings for puppy Brian.
Hopefully this will get fixed sooner rather than later. Thanks to TinyCo for the quick response and thanks to Alissa and Bunny for all their hard work.

Not just this game. My GS4 burns hot during anything that seems battery draining. Facebook. Apps in general. GPS. Even writing for the blog.

Yeah, the GS4 is poorly designed for heat buildup. The only time my iPhone gets hot is when it is recharging.

Yeah, I have to take my case off the phone if play longer then like 5 – 10 minutes if a lot is going on in my game (minions and trick and treaters running around had to be under 10 or so, or I had real problems). Had my phone outside when i was working on my truck and it was like 35 degrees and after going in to warm up my game ran for almost an hour. Long enough to get rid of the treat and treaters. Thinking about drilling holes in the protective case to help with heat distribution. I find sitting by a fan helps too. I tested an old computer with a load tester and the processor slowed down after it got hot. I’ve been wondering if that’s why the game closes because of a big change in speed and the game thinks the device stops working. Would the game run better if it didn’t ask so much from the device, limited to like 60 to 80 percent of the processor speed. I wouldn’t mind the game been in a little slower if that stops it from closing after 10 – 15 minutes. Just my thoughts. Maybe they could test it and see. Hmm, put the battery the the refrigerator for a little, LOL. Merry Christmas.

So after working my way up the “yeti ladder” now all of a sudden I get the device not compatible glitch and will likely drop all the way back to Viking Yeti. This is really really annoying, especially since I spent cloaks to hurry my latest Yeti attacker and I can’t even get in the game to complain to Tinyco about it… (grumble grumble)

I try to load the game and when I try to load it it makes the knocking noise and thenjoy shuts it down and says unfortunately, family guy has stopped working. Is this an issue that is going to be addressed before the event is going to end so I can get Santa? Thanks

Tyler I’ve been having the same issue since Friday night roughly. TinyCo has been mildly responsive, but to their defense it’s now a holiday week. I’m disappointed that I’ll likely miss Babs/Brian/Jesus. I was so close. Just keep logging crash reports and hope for the best.

One glitch that I have constantly experienced and seen others report too….. Is the way the screen skittles away when you are tapping on something. Could be collecting $$ from buildings, could be tapping on chars (like freezing the shoppers or mutants or whatever). It drives me freakin crazy. Esp annoying when you’re trying to freeze a big furbal slam with 10 or 12 shoppers and the screen screams to the far left or right or wherever and your freakin shoppers scatter. Arrrrgh!!!! (iPad 2, if TinyCo is listening.).

I have an iPad 2 as well. This is where the touch is super sensitive on the ipad. You just have to make sure to tap and not do any sort of swipe. Just the least little sideways movement will send the screen flying. It’s not a glitch.

I have had this problem since the day I started playing and yes, also experience frustration during times you need the screen to stay right where it is e.g. freezing a group of shoppers.
You tap just like normal and suddenly the screen zips past you in one direction. By the time you reposition back to where you were, the shoppers are unfrozen and dispersed.

To minimize the issue, I find that you have to tap the screen in a direct 90 degree hit – straight up and down. If you tap it even a little on an angle, it registers the tap as going in some direction and thinks you are pushing the screen. I have this on Android. I don’t see any way to adjust screen sensitivity (like the mouse speed on a desktop) on my phone.

even though i love this game, i will be sooo annoyed if tinyco does a new years/new years eve (even if it’s a mini 1) event instead of getting back to district 9 & the blimp! enough with the back to back events already! i don’t want another event until at least valentines day.

Question about Yeti: if I get him down to 1 pip and have Mort, Lois and Joe attacking… And then I check Lois and the Yeti goes down… If I leave Joe and Mort unchecked till the Yeti gets back up, do their damages apply then to the new hat yeti?

So I have a 2 question.

I am almost at 20,000 even currency and have enough of the other stocking required for both. But should I wait since the next event is coming? Thoughts?!
I am up to date on all Santa presents and got Joe’s Christmas suit last night. I am not up to date on Christmas task though.
Should I worry about those instead of worrying about yeti until the next even is closer?

So are you just missing the lil blue box altogether when you tap him? Or getting an error message? If you tap him…his name appears right below…and depending how big your screen is…the “store” feature will show up as the inventory box icon…or a blue blip in the far right corner. If it does not…then you can’t store him and need to let TinyCo know.

Hello. I understand people could not visit there friends cause IOS was updated but Andriod was not. It is to my understanding now that both are now up to date. This would mean that friends could now be visited without difficulty. Here is where my problem begins. Whenever I try to visit my friends it has me “connect to facebook”. The problem is that I’m already connected however because my username IS my facebook account (I connected to Facebook when originally making the account for this game).
Anyway I click the “Connect to Facebook” button and it loads for alittle bit, then a message comes up saying “Log-In Erorr. You have returned to the App Without Logging in”. Have you ever heard of this issue before? I will send you an email now.
If you have any idea of what’s going on could you please let me know. I have like 10 gifts and nobody to send them to!

Yes. It usually happens to me when something is wrong with my Facebook app on my device. My suggestion. Get out of the game. Go to your device and to your Facebook App on your device. Log out of Facebook. Shut down and restart your device. When it is back up, log back into the Facebook app first. Make sure it makes the connection to the correct Facebook account. Then, launch the Family Guy app…and try again.

Ok so I tried your thing and it didn’t work. I didn’t give up though! I went into setings and clicked facebook. I noticed that contacts were turned off. I turned them back on and went to the game. A message saying “allow family guy to view your friends” or something like that came up. I hit allow and my friends were back! Thank you so much you guys always help me constantly with this website and I really do appreciate it!

You know what glitch I hate? That it is so easy to mistake the clam gift box with a regular one and it just has “open”, not “buy” on it. I lost 100 clams due to it and now can’t get Bruce Willis.

I’m so jealous. I’m on windows and windows phone, so i don’t even have the event. i have the coolaid event for some reason, and it can’t be completed because when you try to build the boombax, the game crashes because it’s December not September.

I think Tinyco now need to take a break from back to back events for a while. Its to much.
I’m up to date with the game, have all the land etc , but I feel for those who are new to the game . its hard to progress when events are going on as you just feel the need to focus on those.
Tinyco now need to get their house in order and work out all the Glitches that are occurring for people.
The continuous events are going to put people off of the game – as are the current major issues occurring .

I have to agree – while it’s great to get new content regularly I feel a little break in between events is warranted. Just to let people catch up with any ‘regular’ tasks they may have put on hold.

I know I’m still trying to unlock Anime Peter and finish that questline – any suggestions for when the next event should be? Peter trying to romance Lois for Valentine’s Day?

I finally got back into my game after multiple reinstalls and now the sound isn’t working… It’s always something with this game 😫

I’ve been unable to get in since Sunday morning. It crashes on the load screen. I had found but not unlocked babs – hopefully she’s not gone once I get back in. I’ve filed two reports, but just gotten form response back!
